BETTYE AND MALCOLM X…Black History Month 2013
Well, since it is Black History Month maybe now would be a good time to post this blog which I started in 2009 but never, for some reason or other never came back to. Can’t remember what 
prompted me to begin it in the first place. Though I must say along with Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Coretta Scott King, Bernice Reagan, Merle Evers, Harriette Tubman, Sojourna Truth, my Mother, Grand-mothers, Great Grand-mother, Mrs. Parks, as in Rosa… and half a dozen others… if not more women I have always admired… I celebrate them all. And if I keep thinking I am sure that I can come up with a few more… like O. J. Simpson’s first wife.
You may asked why I have O. J.’s first ex-wife on my list… it is simply that I admired her for taking the high road in all that mess. Out of all of O. J.’s supposed friends and colleagues… judges and lawyers everybody went for the money. They sold O. J. out every which way they could sell him. That is to say everybody except for his first wife. She never took 1 dime or ever came out against him. Never wrote a book… never signed a book deal… and she denied almost every offer for an interview. Though I am sure that she could have had a lot to say… but she chose the high road… the side of ‘to do him no harm.’
So, women like that… or people like that I can admire without any level of hesitation. Because 
most people today will sell you down the river for a dime… a promotion… or whatever else is up for grabs. And I am not being cynical.
Relationships… family bonds… friendships… you name it and they can all be tossed to the wind if somebody comes in with the right price. And sometimes that prices doesn’t even necessarily have to even be actual money. It can be a position… a title… an automobile… property… status… and phoney friendship… whatever the other side is in need of or looking for.
This is one of biggest and most saddest things about the world and people who live in it today. Had Jesus still been alive today he might have had to worry about more than 1 Judas… but maybe 6… 8 or 11 of them.
Everybody loves you while there is something to be gained in their association of you. In the Bible it appears that Job was a very popular man until he lost everything including his health. So, I guess it can be said that people have been the same throughout history. Was it not Caesar who said ‘et tu, Butus?’
It was not a secret that Malcolm X was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the founder and religious leader of the 
National of Islam, right-hand-man and 2nd in command. In fact, Malcolm had become the front man for the organization… he was the voice and the face of the organization at that time.
Malcolm X, Malcolm Little the name given to him by his mother, was such an eloquent speaker and possessed such great charisma that the Nation of Islam grew greatly under him. A thing that I am sure was 
celebrated in the beginning of their relationship between him and Mr. Muhammad… but later it became a source of contention between the 2 …as Mr. Muhammad saw Malcolm X’s power and authority growing among the ranks of the followers in his organization.
And then Malcolm went to Mecca and everything really changed between them. When I was in high school I recall buying a book called the “Autobiography of Malcolm X” …that book really intrigued me. I had not known anything about him until I read that book.
I guess I should invest more time in reading about our historical icons… and those who are little known. Their contributions were great and should not be overlooked… while we make millionaires of only writers of fiction.
I really cannot remember what prompted me to begin this blog… or why I entitled it ‘Bettye & Malcolm X?’
But there had to have been a reason. But since really I cannot at this time remember the reason… I have 
decided to just go ahead and post this blog anyway as a tribute to Black History Month 2013… I hope you enjoy it.
I celebrate all the heroic women and men who make up our 
history. Who endured, sacrificed… bleed… were spat upon… whooped… beat… stomped… dogs sicked upon… hit with forceful waters from water hydrants… who were made widowed or orphan… chained… tarred and feathered… and those who died. I celebrated them all… including those who felt it worthy to die over just being called a belittling word that started with that letter ‘N’ … that I might walk and sit… and eat and sleep… and live… and go to school etc… where I want to.
I will not forget… nor can I ever repay the debt by which they have endowed me… my family… my son… my nieces and nephews… our families… our history and our legacy for generations to come. Providing us with much pride… dignity… courage that must be passed on to all our children.
It is Black History Month… and I am happy to celebrate all of our she-ro’s and hero’s… and there are many many many many of them. And I thank God for each and every one of them.

Well, God bless… it’s Wednesday and though it has not been very cold… it has been wet. Some light snow and thankfully rain (instead of snow).
am now regimented to using computers elsewhere to complete and write my blogs… a condition I hope to soon rectify. So, until then bare with me… I may be a little bit and might appear to not be on top of things… BUT it is not my fault.
wing media and its so-called voices are really ridiculous. They get all hot and bothered about everything the Obama’s do. Jealousy is a very sad thing… it hinders one from seeing clearly.
man… how they whooped and cried over that claiming that the Obama’s think they are some kind of super-stars… how they think they are better than what they are… how they have lowered the image of the White House… etc… etc.. 
everything the President or his wife does keeps their pay checks coming.

DEITRICK HADDON vs. DAMITA HADDON… and Social Media…Serena & Venus…
When I posted the article on my Facebook page I had not really read the article, but later ..that last night while chatting with my son, I decided to tell him about the story. So, I went to my Facebook page and began reading
how Deitrick Haddon had posted on his Facebook page, that his ex-wife… which I had known that either… Damita and supposedly another gospel singer, Isaac Carree… were adulters.
The whole thing was rather shocking to me… because they, Deitrick and Damita appeared to be a happy couple. They worked together… created gospel music together… performed concerts together… he put her in his film… And I just assumed that they really had it going on.
I did, however, wonder about Deitrick being the head of a church?
And that was only because to me it seemed that he loved his music career so much. So, I wondered at first whether he was going to leave the record business? Which Deitrick did not… but instead it seemed to me that he rather stepped up his involved in the music business… and then came 1 or 2 movies that he produced, directed and played the lead character came out. So, I really wondered about the ministry of his dad’s church which he taken over following the passing of his father… where once upon a time Deitrick had been the Minister of Music.
I must say that I have long-held the view that everybody’s son is not meant to 
take over their father’s church. Okay… get mad… but I think most people would agree with me on this. You need only to go back into the scripture to search this fact out for yourself. For instance you have the examples of the priest Elli’s 2 sons… and then there was Samuel’s son. And if you keep reading you can and will find others… sons who were born into the priesthood but were less than worthy and simply not qualified to minister, because of certain character flaws.
Yet, for the most part this is what happens in many of our churches… dad dies and the son steps in. And sometimes the son had left the church long ago. And a lot times, sadly, it has been to the detriment of the church under which they came back and took over.
So, when I read in the article that Deitrick had left the ministry of his father’s church… I raised a slight eyebrow but it was no major shock to me. But what did shock me was to read that Deitrick, 36, had fathered a child out-of-wedlock with a 24-year-old woman… and that his wife had divorced him. Now, that was a bit of a surprise because just as I finished telling you… they seemed to be a great couple. Mind you I was not shocked that Damita divorced Deitrick behind that baby incident… but I was shock that Deitrick had done that. Since he is or was now divorced… I guessed he decided to make it look good. So, recently he married the young lady with whom he had fathered a child. But I understand that he failed to tell people that woman’s child …whom he married… was his.
That is what I call deceit upon deceit.
So, is this a case of the adulterer calling an adulterer an adulterer?
Or is this a case of just some very bad apples?

In reading the article it appears to be a case of some very bad apples on the part of Deitrick Haddon.
How do you go outside your marriage… father a child with another woman… and want to call your wife the adulterer?
All I can say… is what is done in the dark (deep sigh)… certainly comes to light…

Now, going back to Bishop Larry Trotter.
I got a couple of comments concerning my blog on the Bishop being in the bathtub with a young girl child. Which they say …or should I say… which he says was his 4-year-old grand-daughter. Whom to everyone who has seen that picture… says she was naked… and I would say that he was too.
But here is the 1 thing that I wanted to add to that story which comes from scripture… and has come to me. We are told in the scripture to forsake ‘even the illusion of sin.’ That 
means we… as saints cannot even do anything that can even be perceived as being sinful by anyone. And there is a reason that the Bible tells us that… as I think Bishop Trotter would and could attest to… if what he said about the picture is true.
Well, that is all I had to say… Just wanted to pop in for a few moments… and now I am popping out.
UPDATE on the Bishop Trotter story… Monday, February 28, 2012: In looking at that picture once again of Bishop Trotter and the little girl said to have been his grand-daughter in the bathtub with him. I have an observation as a mother… that child in that tub is not 4-years-old. I know the size and what a 4-year-old children looks like. That child in that picture is about 2 or 3 years old at the maximum. Because a 4 or 5-year-old child is much bigger than little girl pictured in this picture in the bathtub with the Bishop.

When it comes to social media I really think that people should not indulge in it without first considering what information they are putting out there. I really think about Deitrick and that Damita story too. 
Why would Deitrick want to post on his Facebook anything negative about his ex-wife, when he just finished marrying the woman… or at least 1 of the women whom he had been messing with.
I son told that the same thing had happened with J. Moss (only I do not think his wife left him)… and Tye Tribbett (and I don’t think his wife left him either). But my son said and she paid Tye back by going outside their marriage with some friend of his.
This thing is getting weird… and it is in the Church…
And when you look at Deitrick’s new wife… she 
almost looks like Damita.
Doesn’t she?
Deitrick now has a new family… and he really just needs to move on… instead of trying to make his former wife look like
the culprit. He did it to himself…
Last year the Williams Sisters, Serena and Venus along with their mom visited Nigeria in November… meeting with fans and sharing words of encouragement. Wow… no wonder I like them. That Williams family is really something… and they have not forgotten us… or who they are.
Now, turning to tennis because everybody has been hitting my blog to read about Serena and Venus it seems lately. So, let me get on it right now… because as you know they are in the Land Down Under, the Australian Open.

Well, to put it simply they are having their of troubles… or were. In one of the very rare instances they lost 
their Doubles game, 3-6, 7-6 (1), 7-5… and that put them out of the running for this year’s Women’s Double award there. OOOOOOooouch!
Who beats them in Doubles????
Well, it hasn’t all gotten bad… but sad to say since the single games didn’t do them any better either. Venus lost to Sharapova 6-1, 6-3… and a 
hamstring is bothering Serena… least that is what a fiend of mind told me. So, time will tell…
And I am sure by now that you know that Venus for the past couple of years has been dealing with an autoimmune disorder called Sjogren syndrome… which causes tiredness. But she hasn’t let that stop her though. You can read more on that by clicking the LINK below.

Well, God bless… it’s Friday and though it has been very cold, I hear that it is due to get warmer here. It has been so cold here that today I made sure that I put on multiple layers of clothing. BISHOP LARRY TROTTER and child in a bathtub…
I often check my blog to see exactly what people are referencing my blog to read. It often signifies a hot topic or that some event has just happened. And so was the case this morning when I logged in to check my blog and happened to noticed that I had gotten a lot of hits concerning Bishop Larry Trotter, of Chicago, IL., and a little girl… supposedly a 4-year-old grand-daughter of his in the bathtub together.
Immediately, I Googled the story and lo and behold there it was a picture of Bishop Trotter, and what is reported to be 1 of his young grand-daughters… and both appear naked in the bathtub together.
All I can say is who takes a bath with their children?
Or their grand-daughter????
I remember my father in the bathroom… there were times that we would pass the bathroom and 
would see that he was shaving or brushing his teeth, but by the time he was taking off any clothes we never saw him. There were times when he got into the shower and needed something and called for 1 of us… but he was always safely in the shower careful to keep himself out of our view.
For that matter my mother was pretty much the same. We never saw her in the tub or in the shower either.
They did not allow us 
into the bathroom with them while they were naked.
Years later, however, while growing up we… me and my sisters from time to time had gotten dressed in the same room or area as our mother when we had to… you know like while visiting a relative’s house or in some hotel etc. But outside of that no.
During a radio interview Bishop Trotter attempted to explain away the incident. But Bishop Trotter stated that he saw nothing wrong in getting into the tub with his very young grand-daughter. And he added that he had gotten into the tub with all of his children.
In that interview also, Bishop Trotter recalls his growing up, when he and his sisters and 
brothers bathed together. I would believe that most people who have or have had siblings may have also experienced this. But beyond a point it ceased to happen. None of us went into adulthood… or grew up as teenagers jumping in and out of a bathtub or shower with his or her sister and/or brother. That is to say… not unless something was going on. And I never grew up in that kind of family where those type of things went on. Least ways… I don’t think so… 
and never heard of any such thing in our family.
However, many people will tell you that they were sexually molested.. abused or raped by a close family member. Oprah, for 1, herself speaks of an uncle that sexually abused her. I even think Donnie McClurkin speaks of an uncle 
who abused him for years.
I have heard people testify about things that even their father had done to them sexually. So, these kinds of things do happen… and sad to say they happen more often than we all really care to talk about.
For years the DeBarge family carried around their ‘dirty little’ secret about what their had father had done to all of them while 
growing up in their mother’s house. So, this thing is not new.
So, yes eyebrows would go up upon seeing such a picture. Or when they hear of such a thing as this picture. And to say that you both had on ‘swimming trunks’… Well, it simply does not wash.
Who takes a bath with swimming trunks on?
Another question…
If it happened as Bishop Trotter says it did, then why was he taking a bath with the bathroom 
door open so that just anybody could walk in on him… much less a little child?
In fact, Bishop Trotter’s explanation for how the picture came about… the events surrounding it… and how he and his grand-daughter ended up in the same bathtub together in what looks like they are both naked… really opens the door to a whole lot of other questions?
In fact, if you really listen to that radio interview Bishop Trotter actually states that there was no reason for his little FOUR YEAR OLD GRAND-DAUGHTER to not be able to take a bath with her ‘pa-pa’ if she wanted to. WHAT??? And evidently, the little girl at 4 years old must have been down on her knees or something while on his lap in that water. Because at 4 she would be taller than we can actually make out in that picture.
I recall the first time I ever saw Bishop Trotter… he at the time was part of Full Gospel under 
Bishop Paul Morton. And I think that was about the same time that I first saw and heard Bishop Eddie Long too. Shortly, after that Full Gospel conference both Bishop Trotter and Bishop Long broke from the Full Gospel Baptist organization, and decided to pursue their own separate church organizations, New Birth and Sweet Holy Spirit.
A few years ago Bishop Long fell into his own share of 
troubles by the way of 4 or 5 young men who had been a part of his New Birth organization. To which Bishop Long later settled out of Court with, for a few million dollars against allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse.
The moment I read the story and saw the picture of Bishop Trotter, I must say that it brought back memories of Michael Jackson… and all the controversies of Michael with little kids. Namely little boys…
And just like Michael, Bishop Trotter in his radio 
interview clearly states that he found nothing to be inappropriate about him being in a bathtub naked with a little child… much less a little girl. With Michael it was that he found nothing wrong with being in bed with little boys. And like Bishop Trotter, Michael said that he did it all the time.
Bishop Trotter stated in his radio interview that ‘he used to jump into the bathtub all the time with his son, and their army men.’ Then added ‘I guess the times have changed.’
It really has nothing to do with how times have changed… which is what Bishop Trotter was trying to pass off as an accuse for the uproar over the picture. Because when you get right down to it… it is not about times changing at all. It is about putting yourself in a situation where something could happen… or bringing a small child into something they are not supposed to be exposed to.
I recall how when we were small my mother used to take us to this wading pool in our neighborhood. All the kids loved for summer to come around… and so didn’t we. During the summer our mother always took us swimming when it got too hot. There were times when she would pack us up and drove us to the beach… or to the pond where we could feed the ducks… or to that small wading pool, that was not too far from where we used to live.
The pool wasn’t very deep… but got deeper as you stepped closer and closer to the center of the 
pool. In the center of the pool you could float or try to swim and then put your feet down, and stand up any time you liked. So, we had fun playing in it… splashing… and sometimes running through it.
But then there came a time when our little pool became invaded. An occasional Spanish man or 2 would get into the pool playing around with the children. They mostly hug out near the center of that small wading pool so you could not see below their waste. Therefore, anyone sitting along the far outside edges of the pool could see the children in the water… but nothing too much under the water that 
may have been going on. And of course, the pool always had lots of kids into and out or the pool or running in the water… or splashing about further obstructing any parent’s watchful eye.
But 1 day I came to find out why they… those men liked being in the pool with us… I saw something… and I never liked going back to that pool again.
Pulled this off from over the internet…someone had writen a comment about having attended a conference where Bishop Trotter spoke here is what she said:
I went to a convention where he was at in Virginia.
He was promoting his newest series “My Wife, My Mistress, My Bitch or My Whore”.
The whole church gasp, he said don’t be in shock, don’t judge,get the CD and then you will understand. For a Bishop I thought he was out of order fo
r that.
I had come across where Bishop Trotter had written that book a while back. The title was curious to me also… and like the person who wrote that comment over the internet… I too thought it very inappropriate. Especially, since Bishop Trotter had written that book about his wife… who was… is … and had been the mother of his children… and I guess at some point the First Lady of his church.
Inappropriate is a very good word here. And I guess we can all say the same thing about him climbing into a tub… or allowing a little child to climb into a bathtub with him while he bathed.

Remember that Monday… this coming Monday is both President Barack Obama’s second inaugural… AND Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.’s birthday celebration. Enjoy them both… and I am hoping to see you in D.C for the festivities. But if 
not please enjoy it for me too.
I am so happy about it. Truly a time to remember… And if you can be part of it don’t let the opportunity go by… by not being so.
And again…happy belated birthday FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA… can’t close without saying that. Love you… In fact, I love you both…. And 49 is still a great year… A very special year in fact…
Serena Williams on the bike champion Lance Armstrong finally admitting that he 
cheated…
“Serena Williams said Armstrong let all athletes down by doping and lying about it for so long, while No. 1-ranked Victoria Azarenka says the disgraced cyclist “deserves everything he gets.”
“I think a lot of people now look and are like, `OK, if somebody (is) that great, what about 
everyone else in every other sport?” Williams said.
“As an athlete, as someone that works really, really hard since I was 4 or 3, I think it’s a sad day for all athletes in general. Overall, it’s even more disappointing for the people that were adversely affected through everything. You can only just hope for the best for them.”
For years Armstrong had denied that he ever used any drugs to enhance his ability to become the top ranking bike cyclist in the world. And recently sat down with Oprah and confessed that he had lied.
And I hope that you are checking for a picture

Bits and pieces from my FACEBOOK page…#1
Thought I would schiff through some of my Facebook postings to share a few of them with you…
So, here goes…
- When I was very young I kept having this re-occurring dream. It was always the exact same dream every night… and I always
awoke at the exact spot in the dream. The dream scared me. So, one night I prayed to God to take the dream away from me. And He did…that very night…and I have never ever dreamed that dream again.
But I did not ever forget that dream.
In that dream I was always being chased…or so it seemed to me then…by these people with wings…like birds… who flew just above me… but somewhat slightly back just about over my head… 3 of them…
I always thought as a child…that they were chasing me. I never knew that God had dispatched them to watch over me.
And so I have…all my life…been watched over. Even though I prayed that prayer…and He stopped the dream…but He kept up the watch over me.
God’s favor….and I didn’t even know it until one of my brother’s told me… concerning something else in my life. And when he said, “Oooh, Bernadine, God favors you.” I really nearly fainted… that thang scared me nearly to death.
God favored me????
Me???
That was such a frightening thought.
God???
Big…powerful God???
All these million upon millions of people???
I’m still scared by the thought of it…but I know it’s true.
Why?
I do not know… But He does…He loves me…
- A while back last year I was at Newark Airport…and I was curious how many of the guys helping people with their luggage were there that day when they flew Whitney’s body in from LA?
I wanted to know if a lot people had gathered that day here at the airport?
That day Whitney flew into Newark Airport as she had never flown in before. She may have had a limousine… but she left that airport as she had never left it before.
We come all come into this world one way…and leave it in another. But as we existed before in another form… so shall be then exit here to be in yet another form. But whether we have victory or end up in defeat…life everlasting in peace and joy… depends entirely upon what we do while we are in this form…
- It has come to my attention just now that a lot of people come to me seeking my advice on a variety of subjects…and I counsel.
- Sometimes the matters are personal…other times they are legal…or affairs of the heart…or family issues…but whatever the subject or the matter I try to give good counsel…and sound counsel. And an ounce of wisdom…not really having a lot myself. But an ounce of good wisdom and rightly judgment is worth more than 2 barrels filled with foolishness…
- It is almost my son’s birthday. 32 years ago tomorrow I gave birth to a little bouncing baby boy…who had looked like he had been in a fight with Muhammad Ali. But he was mine… So, I loved him anyway. And when I first held him in my arms and looked down upon…I knew I couldn’t afford him.
So, by the time spring semester classes rolled around I started resuming my formal education.
One day while out walking with my son…he then was about 4 years old…he looked up and pointed at a man and said, ‘Ooh, look, mommie… there’s my daddy.’
I knew then at that very moment I had to take my son to Chicago to introduce him to his father. So, that everyday while being out he 
would not point at someone…and proclaim them to be his father.
Women do not demonize your children’s fathers. It does not matter whether ‘THEY’ do the right thing or not. It is absolutely wrong…and men you should not try to turn your children against their mother either. It’s wrong.
I never once spoke badly about my son’s father. Till this very day they have only met once 
physically…face to face. But they have occasionally spoken to one another via the phone.
After son graduated I sent him away to school. The school did not have dorms and the small southern town it was in had no cabs or buses. So, I had to get him an apartment…a car…open him up a bank account…buy him a cell (which is also the time I got one just so he could stay in connect with me and me with him)…and paid monthly installments on his schooling.
I also hopped the bus from New York headed south to check all his monthly receipts…to make sure he was paying all his bills as he should with the money I would deposit into his bank account. And while there I always went grocery shopping…buying him enough groceries for the month…though he always had money to buy whatever he wanted…and could call me if he needed more.
Some time thereafter after settling my son in he contacted his father, he told me…and asked him for some money. My son told me that his father turned him down…and told him he should leave school and go back home until he could afford it. 
Needless to say I was furious at hearing this story. THAT…that man had told MY son to throw away everything I had invested in my son to get him to school and set him up properly so that he could do it…and he who had done nothing told him ‘go back home.’
When my son called and told me this story I was livid…but I did not speak badly against my son’s father…but I do have a few choice words for him if ever I should see him.
But I told my son ‘no’ that he was not coming home and he was going to stay in that school until he graduated…and he was not going to waste the money ‘I invested’ in getting him a car…a cell 
phone…an apartment…and paying tuition to that school. And that settled that.
Some time recently my son told me that his father had contacted him requesting a loan. Over a period of some years my son has connected with some of his father’s other children…sending gifts 
and things to his young nephews and nieces. Also, over the years…really in a short period of time after his graduation…my son has become very very successful in his chosen field. And I guess his father had heard.
So, when my son told me about the request for a loan I asked what he told him. And he said ‘I told him no.’
And I asked nothing further…but made note in my mind that was yet another conversation I was going to have to take up with my son’s father.
Fathers…AND mothers be good to your children. And they will be good to you…if you treat them right…train them right…and always seek to do good for them and by them…and DO give them a firm foundation in the Lord…and the things of the Lord. And
they shall be blessed…and you shall be blessed of them…and shall reap well the rewards of a good harvest
This big head boy is well on his way to probably becoming a millionaire before he hits 40. That is why I put him down there in that school to sit among millionaires…not their kids but ‘them.’. So, that he would know them…and so that they would know him…
And oh, yes… I decided this year to let you really see me too. So, occasionally I will pop up… you just keep on reading my blogs and see… And this is me… But from time to time I look different…depending on a lot of different factors… You just keep looking out for me… : )
Well, the weather has been great. Spent the night in the hospital with 1 of my sisters the other night. All is well…and God is soooo good. Cannot thank Him ever enough.

OBAMA WINNER! ROMNEY big LOSER…biggest EVER…
And they are hating it. Hating that Obama won.
Before Ohio even reported their ballot count President Obama already had 282 electoral votes. Making him the winner for his 2nd term as the President of the United States. Ohio put the President at 303 electoral votes…and by the time Florida weighed in some 4 days later… Obama’s electoral count hit 332. Romney was finished at 206.
So, yes… President Barack Obama won… and it was not through cheating or lying… or even by playing games with the American people. He won by being real and being compassionate towards the people whom he has been elected to lead. And by showing that even though the odds were against him he could make things happen… and start to change.
How in the world do you throw away as much money as the people backing Mitt Romney on a horse race… and know in your hearts of 
hearts that your horse isn’t even that good?
You would have to be a fool.
And foolish they were. All those people… Republicans who poured in a million… a hundred million… a few hundred thousands… or even 50¢ to back a political opponent as flawed as Mitt Romney.
What were they thinking?
They did it feeling they had no choice… and that Romney was going to be their ‘great white hope.’ Because when you get right down to it that is all this campaign meant to them. It was not based upon issues… or substance… or even based upon truth for them. No, sadly it was not… but a need to have the black man removed from the White House by any means necessary. And if it took ever dime they had… they were willing to try and do it.
Personally, I hope to hear that a few of them have to file for bankruptcy… because they were… and are just a bunch of old racist idiots. And many times the only way such people who think as they do ever learn is through their pocketbooks… or checkbooks… or by zeroing out their entire bank accounts.
Which some of them might have done.
One might be able to understand it if any of their fears… or concerns (if they had any legitimate concerns) were real or true. But they were and are not. President Barack Obama has been doing a good job… and this country is on its way back. And greatly because of Obama’s efforts to keep at it regardless of the unnecessary blocking of his every move put up by the Republicans.
From de’ Donald Chump to Chuck ‘gimme a break’ Norris and a bunch of other fools… something was definitely wrong with their thinking.
If we are all Americans… then we should all want and desire the same things. But this is not so. 
There are people in this country who enjoy being considered ‘elitist.’ They strive on it. They love this status of being better off than most… going where they want… able to buy whatever they want when they want etc…etc… They live well… they drive well… and they play well. And this is all that matters to them.
They are shallow people. They live only for themselves.
Well, as a rule… they do. But when a black man became President of the United States… Barack Obama… they viewed this as a step towards loosing more and more of their cherished status-quo. Believing that soon all their exclusive little places would soon be overrun by the 
up-and-coming folk… folk like those who stepped into the White House 4 years ago. Who by the way are the new elite… and the lily whites have found that hard to swallow.
They would have loved history to regard Barack Obama’s first term as President as a fluke. But a second time around?
It can hardly ever go down in history as a ‘fluke.’ No, but rather a people’s choice.
No, Barack Obama’s winning the Presidency of the United States the first or the last time can hardly be considered either a ‘fluke’ or something which came by mere happenstance considering the sheer numbers of American who voted for him. But then these belly aching people they have another problem. And that is trying to determine among themselves who is or isn’t really American… a question they raise often when speaking about our President.
What they do not want to give President Barack Obama credit for is the thing which hurts them the most. And that is that he is smart.
I am so sure that they all almost cried while watching the debates when and even Romney had to admit, 
“Maybe, I can’t talk as good as him.”
What????
Did that white man say that… about a black man?
No wonder they didn’t want us to start learning how to read or write. Why they kept our schools in run down structures. And why back a few years ago none of our schools never had tracks or swimming pools… or libraries… of football fields… and many still do not.
So, now the winner has been declared. It was Barack Obama… and we didn’t even have to wait until mid-night. And when the announcements came in the news people said Obama didn’t even need Ohio to win… but he got it. And he definitely by the time Florida’s vote count was finally release some 4 days later… he didn’t need that state to win either. But he got it.
No wonder Romney was in such dismay. The man thought he had it in the bag. He was prepared to make his acceptance speech… but had never planned on making a loser speech. The fireworks were set to go off… people prepped to run into the street cheering… confetti ready to fall… and the bottles of champagne had already been opened. And then reality slowly began to seep in… they were loosing… loosing… lost.
The polls were wrong… but then how could they not help but to be wrong?
- Because the so-called polls kept saying that Obama was behind Romney is popularity… Now, that was a joke.
- Behind Romney on where America stood… Who thought of that?
- Behind Romney in how America felt where they wanted this country to go… Well, I guess the end of the election proved to to be wrong too.
And Romney and his people bet everything on what their pollsters were saying… and it all had to have been a lie. Which is what the Romney campaign became known for… lying. I guess all that lying caught up with them.
Now a whole week later they are still belly aching over it. Romney is saying Obama would not won if he hadn’t given people gifts. What gifts?
With all the money poured into Mitt Romney’s campaign he should never talk about anyone giving people gifts. They gave him the give that was supposed to do what had done during the Republican primaries… and that was to ensure that he would be the last man standing. But money could not do it. And lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of money couldn’t do it either… and that is what they cannot believe.
But why can’t they just accept that their man was not good enough?
Because it was never about being good. It was about color… and it is still about color.
When Barack Obama won 4 years ago we began to hear about this seceding thang. And now we are hearing it again.
It did not happen 4 years ago when they started churning the waters then with this craziness… and it is not going to happen now. They just want to put it out their as a why of spotting Obama’s win. But they are only showing their hand as the racists that they are. And they are truly that.
Because if another person… somebody more like them. Somebody who looked like them …had the same skin color like them …. Now, that would have been acceptable and there would not have been no talk of seceding from the Union of the United States. Without being a part of this federal government any state would soon fail. First of all they woul
d have to create all their own collateral… t distribute it …and buying up all that ole dirty American money that claim they don’t want any more since the President is somebody who is non-white. And before they knew it they would all be bankrupt… every state talking this craziness. And they would all soon find themselves running back to Obama for help.
So, they… these spoil little brat Republicans… need to stop making themselves look like fools… and trying to incite people against President Obama and his Administration. Because it won’t work. And it especially won’t work because most of us… more than 54% of Americans all voted OBAMA …and not ROMNEY anyway.
So, grow up and stop winding you losers… you are making little children look good.

UPDATE: Monday, November 19, 2012…. It is really a shame when public systems… such as a school district belittles itself in such a matter as this, as well in an attempt to degrade and belittle the President of 
the United States. Years ago such a thing as this would never have been tolerated by any school system. But things change… and particularly when it comes down to the color of skin.
This piece of paper was circulated in some local school by a teacher.
Worst than being just a bunch of bad losers… they are a bunch of the worst losers EVER. They really should just grow up.
Thankful for the warmth coming back. Was concerned about those without electricity and whose homes and apartments were damaged with 
Hurricane Sandy blew in. But our God is sooooo good. As strong and as powerful as Sandy was so many more could have been hurt or killed… and much more destroyed.
It is amazing to me that something of this nature had never happened to New York City before… being that New York sits on the Atlantic Ocean and is made up of nothing but a bunch of islands.
And another thought came to my mind just now… as I was about to end this blog. It is hard for me to believe that anyone would vote ‘yes’ on legalizing marijuana for recreational use… meaning like the way the teenage kids smoke it.
Now, we have to wor
ry about not only drunken drinkers but those with ‘a buzz‘ from smoking a couple or few marijuana joints. And the stuff does destroy brain cells. Unbelievable…
Then I wonder how many states voted on doctors prescripting a pill for people to commit suicide. I just have 1 question…
How is it that people are so pro-life… yet would vote ‘yes’ on distributing pills that people can kill themselves?
This is crazy… 
We are beginning to live in some very crazy times.
Well, Veterans Day just passed… and we are now looking toward Thanksgiving. Hope that you have an enjoyable… in case I fail to post anything between now then.

FREUDIAN SLIP or GAFFE TODD AKINS is a DANGEROUS MAN…
Okay, I know I’m jumping on this band wagon rather late but… it is not that it got pass me. But rather I have been simmering it. You know thinking it over.
And not whether or not rape in any case or other … or under any circumstance is okay. But I have been just milling over what kind of person would say such a thing?
Rape under any circumstance is a fierce and violent act. And that says that it is a criminal act… and one which can never be justified.
By its sheer name and meaning… we all know that rape is an act which is forced upon another party, and very much without their consent… that is a crime. Hence, it is illegal and an act of aggression.
So, then how could such an act ever be classified as alright or okay… with anyone?
I have written many blogs about sex and women. About people who have committed some heinous crimes
upon innocent unsuspecting victims. Crimes against infants sexually, as well as, other small children… and it sickened me. Often causing me to leave off from writing anything further on it.
I even stopped watching television because it seemed to me that ever movie or episode of any law and order like program was a crime being perpetrated against a woman …girl or child.
I wondered how a channel such as Lifestyles or WE could call themselves channels for women, when they only programmed were movies where women were being victimized?
It was sickening. And I could not understand it… so I shut it off.
Now, here comes this Missouri State Representative in a speech while out campaigning for a Senate seat of a woman, who makes the most profoundly stupid statement anyone could possibly make in these most modern times. And all I can think is-
“There must be some skeletons in his closet.”
Because only people who perpetrate such crimes would believe them to be okay.
If ever there was a Freudian slip… this guy made it. But if Freud is right… the slip was a thinking and/or 
belief within this Akins guy from the very beginning… before he let it slip out.
Rape by its nature is a forcible act and can, therefore, never be considered anything other than an act of violence against whomever it was perpetrated upon.
But perhaps silently Akins’ thinking is really the thinking of many men. Perhaps this would explain why women who have gone to court against attackers in rape crimes… almost always are made to look like the criminal themselves. They are unrobed… and brought low. They are slandered… and their names muddied… while they are dragged through the mud.
I will never forget Anita Hill and her trip up to Capitol Hill. She was treated so badly by the Party that she actually was a member of, the Republicans. They made her look dirty… wanton… ambitious and willing to do anything kind of woman. And then they wanted to make a joke of her.
It was Ted Kennedy who final stood up and told them that they should be ashamed of themselves for their mean and ugly behavior in an effort to 
discredit her testimony against Clarence Thomas, for an appointment as a Chief Justice to the Supreme Court.
Thomas himself was never attacked nor any of the acts that Anita described that he perpetrated against her, a then interning law student fearful that her boss, Thomas, would ruin her hopes of any kind of legal career, in his effort to coerce her into a sexual relationship… which she did not submit to.
Thomas needless to say was admitted a Supreme Court Judge, a position he will hold for the remainder of his life, if he chooses to. While Anita Hill, I have no doubt, had to battle through a lot of bad press for years regarding her legal ambitions.
Was it because she was a woman… and he was a man?
Have men no responsibility for their actions when it comes to the negative things they do?
When Herman Cain was running for the Presidency earlier this year… it was amazing to see all the women in his closet, who had been paid off by the company, Godfather Pizza, that he had headed. Women who Cain had violated or attempted to violate in 1 way or other for sex.
I guess we have only to look at the Bible to see how men carry on about 
women and sex. In the story of the woman being caught in adultery… it is said that she was caught ‘in the act.’ But it is she and she alone who is dragged before Jesus for judgment.
Why?
Because many men do not accept their acts as being anything other than natural.
Oftentimes they blame the woman for their actions saying-
“She always wore short and revealing clothes.”
“There was something about how she smelled when she came around me.”
“It was her walk… you know?”
No, I don’t know.
I don’t know why anyone would feel it was or is alright to sexually or otherwise violate someone.
I had a boss… he was my manager… the manager of the sales force I worked for. As often as he could he would to drive me over to Jersey, which was the territory he had given me to work in.
While in the car he would always talk to me about sex. He would say how coke… meaning cocaine… made him horny… and a bunch of other things. I tuned him out as much as I could… only answering to whatever I
had to answer to.
Too bad Anita Hill had not hit Capitol Hill before I got that job… or some time thereafter. I would have owned that radio station… truly. Because I would have taken them to the bank. I could not stand that man… and it 
was not until later that I found out that he had been robbing me of sales I had gotten. Imagine that…
But I endured him …until I finally left that job and began my own company, Queen Bee Multi-Media Advertising & Consulting Agency. But women in the workforce are forced to endure so much when they are surrounded by a group of men, or fall upon the attention of an unscrupulous boss. 
And even today the playing field is still not fair or much better when it comes to women… but yet we endure.
And most of our endurance comes from the fact that we have families… and for a lot of women they are the head of their family. So, they have no choice but to put up with it… whatever the ‘it’ is.
So, enter this Akins fellow and opens his big mouth… just like that group of men who dragged that woman 
to Jesus. They were not without sin… and dare I say… I think Mr. Akins may not be either. And I think Freud may back me up on that 1.

I’M BLESSED… Celebrating Gabrielle and Dominique… Olympic Games 2012
Wow, over the period of a few short months it is amazing how quickly things can change.
I just finished getting a text from a friend… and she began laying out to me just 
how very different this summer has been for her …juxtapose to last summer. Last summer we were breezing around eating hot dogs and ice cream cones here and there. While this summer we have yet to even see 1 another… and she just told me why?
For 1 thing her husband has been ill. So, she has been in and out of the ER… and 
doctor’s offices all summer long, she texted me.
The other thing is she has also been shuttling her daughter around… because her daughter’s car blew its engine. And they kindda just within a few months or so… just bought her that car to get around in at school.
And on top of all of this …she has her own health issues… and to top it all off… just last year her mother passed.
Did somebody say, “When it rains it pours?”
I guess my friend can attest to that.
And I thought I was facing something.
While sitting there texting back and forth with my friend with her laying out her summer woes to me… some workers on the college campus came in and sat down in the school cafeteria near me. And Jim, 1 of the workers, began laying out his summer to me… saying what a nightmare it has been for him on the job.
It seems that the whole campus heating system blew… which also effected the school air conditioning system. This in turn it seems forced all the summer classes to be placed in his building… the building he cleans. Which meant that while most of the summers he has only had to strip floors and do some waxing here and there at his leisure… not so this summer. This summer the floor stripping and waxing had to be put off… as his cleaning responsibilities had been far more than just doubled … say trippled by the additional people now using his building for classes.
But what Jim also told me kind of gave me reason to pause. He said that the school heating 
system was going to cost the school $2 million to replace… and that the school just did not have the money to get it fix. Jim also said that this winter students may be sitting in the cold all over the campus.
Wow… and I thought I was dealing with something.
Two million dollars????
And I thought I had heating problems.
While sitting there texting my friend and talking to Jim… I then got a phone call from a niece asking for some money. She said she was short on her rent, and that she had no money for food.
It is funny just how quickly your prespective on your own problems can change… when you come to realize just what other people are going through.
You know what?
I just realized just how blessed I am.
I am blessed. I am truly blessed… doesn’t matter what it looks like… or what it sounds like …land court… foreclosure notices… bills… repo’s… shut-off notices… etc…etc…etc. I want you to know that I AM BLESSED.

weeds around the yard. 
The Olympic Games… haven’t said much about them… because I no longer watch much tv. But happy about Gabby grabbing that gold… hadn’t missed that since it is all over the internet. She is stepping in the steps of another great gymnast… Dominique Dawns. And what a champion she was… and still is.
Usain Bolt “the Bolt” proved again during the Olympic Games that he is unbeatable. He is the world’s fastest man… nobody can even touch him. “The Bolt” is in a class all of his own… just proves what ‘yard’ cookin’ (as they say in Jamaica) …and having to walk for miles can build strength like nothing else can. Yea, Jamaica!
And I really cannot say enough about Serena this year… she has turned it all the way up. In spite of earlier health issues she has the determination of a true winner to not give in to it. Because to win… to win big… and to continuously perform on a very high level takes a lot… and whatever that lot is
… lets say it is desire… a deep desire to win… and a desire to win all the time. Truly Serena has it.
But what amazes me more and more about the Williams Sisters is their great passion not only for 
the game of tennis… but for each other… and their family. What a family… It is wonderful to watch their great out-pouring of love for one another and dedication. Even though their mother and father are no longer together it has never prohibited them, mom and dad… from being in stadium for their daughters.
I like through thick and thin stories… and this Olympic Games has more than a few of them. Truly all the athletes are to be applauded. It takes a lot of lonely hours… mixed with sweat to be at the top of your sport… and they do it. They do what it takes to not only get to the top… but stay there.

Creflo and His Daughter… the 911 Call…. VENUS & SERENA Taking it all at W
When I first heard this story I have to admit that I just casted it off as a plain unruly child picking up the phone and calling 911 on her father…
Why?
Because she could. And because that is what the law tells them.
You know the law?
The law that prohibits parents from chastising their children. A law which many times clearly has made parents victims due to unruly children. Because if the child doesn’t like what the parent has done …or says… all they have to do is drop a dime… or in other words… pick up the phone and call the police on their mother or father… or both of them.
The information when this story broke was that Creflo and his daughter had been in a dispute… which arose upon his daughter asking him… her father… if she could go to a party.
I have heard of many children who wanted to go against their parents … then decide that they would settle the matter simply by picking up the phone and calling the police on their parents.
So, of course… I thought this was just 1 of those stories. Where a 15-year-old spoiled child decided that she did not like that her father told her ‘no’ she could not go to the party. So, she therefore picked up the telephone of him… or popped open her cell …and called the police lying on her father… telling them that he had choked her.
That is what I believed and that is how I thought that it had happened.
So, I never felt that Pastor Creflo Dollar had really done anything wrong.
But it was not until I heard his recounting of the incident before his congregation… and after listening to his daughter’s 911 phone call… that I must say that I am not entirely sure that maybe the daughter did lie.

Since I know neither of the 2 parties it is hard to determine what and what is true. But it was Creflo’s own words and how he just seemed to literally throw his daughter up under the bus regarding the whole incident while speaking to his church, in his accounting of what his daughter said had happened, that stuck me as… hmmm. He virtually called her a liar and continued to pounce upon her. And that is what I felt was odd.
I do not believe a loving father… or any parent angry or not get before people and begins to pounce upon their children making their child appear bad or evil.
As a parent I have at times found myself angry at my son… and didn’t like something that he said to me . But there are ways that parents handle these type of things privately. Though at times I have had to admonish my son that he needed to tread lightly a couple of times while in public… as since he has reached his 30′s he has at times needed to be reminded ‘that I am still the parent.’
While speaking Creflo took the opportunity to turn his message on its heels making himself the victim.
There is no doubt that this present system of taking the control out of the hands of parents to properly chastise their children… has made many parents almost helpless when it comes to their interactions with their own children.
It is clearly stated in the Biblical text that parents should not spare the rod. Without following the instruction of God our children will become unruly… untrained… disorderly… and lack moral standards. But with proper training… love… and guidance our children will make us glad. It is Biblical text…
I knew a young mother… she had at lease 4 children and I doubt that she was older than 24 or 25. One day in passing she informed me that she was having problems with her youngest child in school. And she told me that they wanted to medicate him… I counselled her against that.
The little boy was bad… and very busy. But I told to not let anyone give any of her children anything that would alter their mind… because it would rob her children of their lives. And she told me how her oldest boy had call 911 on her… and how afraid she now was of trying to disciple any of her children in the least.
I was shock as her oldest child, who was at the time was just about maybe 9 or 10… was a very likeable and handsome boy. He often stopped by my yard to speak with me as he passed by. I found him very pleasurable… and never would have thought that he would have imagined to do such a thing. But he had… the that incident scared his poor mother enough into not doing anything for any 1 of them, for fear of 1 of them ever picking up the phone on her again… and her children being taken away.
It is clear that the law against parents chastising their children binds the hands of good parents… people who love their children and only want to see that they do well.
No one enjoys little children who have no training at all. They are like little animals… and as they grow up to they become even worst.
I was once investigated. My son and I laugh about it today… but when it happened that thang scared me to death because all I could see was that ’they’ were going to remove my son from 
our house. That would have destroyed me… I doubt that I would have stayed around to let such a thing happen to my child.
But the investigation was dropped when it was discerned that it had no merit.
My investigation stemmed from my son not doing academically well in school. So, the school suggested that I allow them to test him to see 
why. I was young and foolish then… don’t let the school do any type of psycho-analyzing of your children. Because they sit in rooms asking your children about everything but what they told you they were going to do. And that is what brought about my dilemma… my son had not called anyone on me… but the school began questioning him about me… whether I whipped him or not etc…etc… etc…
Needless to say I have since learned. I am not the smartest but that situation taught me something… and I learned it shortly after I gave my permission for that school to tell me why my son’s grade were not so good.
How innocent was that?
That nearly had my son removed from our home… and placed into foster care. There is something wrong with this system… and it truly works against parents… good parents.
I did not stop chastising my son… but I did tell him that if he ever told anyone that I whopped him that I would kill him. And that is what we laugh over today. He tells me that I was always threatening to kill him…
“Boy, I’m going to kill you!”
It was kindda the way folks spoke back then. Most parents said it… but none really meant it.
However, the world has changed today… different kind of parents. And that is truly sad… and what has brought about this problem.

Serena Williams took Wimbledon winning the Women’s Single… then turning right around and grabbing the Women’s Doubles title with her sister, Venus.
Venus was turned away in having lost early in the Women’s Single matches… largely due to her illness which renders her to be tired. But the illness did not stop her when it came to the Women’s Doubles finals match, where both little sis and big sis walked away with the big one together.
I am very happy for them both. I love their family. Just love seeing the love… appreciation and unity they all have… and through the situations and turmoil they still WIN!
Together Serena and Venus have won 13 Grand Slam Doubles titles together… and with Serena’s Wimbledon Single’s win a couple of weeks ago… the have between them 10 Wimbledon Single wins… with each of them having amassed 5 a piece.

Sandusky…abuser, liar, sodomite and destoryer of young boys… and Herman Cain…
Yesterday I read that Sandusky’s lawyers released to the press that the young men coming out against Penn State ex-coach Jerry Sandusky were not victims… but people who were coming forth ‘for the money.’
And you know what?
Oftentimes, victims do come forward for the money. Sometimes it might move some who would not step forward otherwise. But regards victims… are victims. Sandusky used his power, position and a shaddy charity to take advantage sexually of very young boys. They deserved to make him pay.

What a crazy statement to make. Money can’t undo what Sandusky has done.
Of course they should come forth…but all the money
in the world will never change what was stolen from those young boys. They are due whatever financial compensation they can get.
But it will never be enough.
Money cannot recover your manhood.
Money cannot restore your innocence.
Money cannot remove the guilt you feel as a child when someone violates you.
Money cannot replace that which was stolen.
Nor can money reclaim that which was eroded and may have been destoryed inside those young boys, when someone enters you into something you are too young to even understand.

There is no doubt that the man was… or is a pedophile. He destoryed lives… and 
people knew about it and turned blinded eyes on it. They should all go down.
It was criminal. And no one reported it.
In this kind of thing …and for the number of years that Sandusky had been involved with young children… I am sure that there are many more victims. And if the truth be told… I believe that Jerry probably had a few of his friends involved in it too.
Truthfully, it would not surprise me if a ring of pedophiles becomes exposed before this whole story wraps up. A ring of others involved that includes other football personnel from Penn State… and professional staff… and possibly even players on the Penn State teams too.
The world of pedophiles is very large… and encompasses all kinds of unsuspecting people. Men from all walks of life… who love little boys… and the younger the better.
N.A.M.B.L.E.R. is a national association of men who seek out young boys for sex. In fact its initals stand for National Association of Men and Boys etc… etc… This organization is large. And their motto is ‘eight is too late.’
Sick isn’t it?
In reading some of the articles that are now surfacing on this story about complaints against Sandusky at least 1 mother some time ago contacted Penn State… when her son came home with wet hair. She called the campus officals complaining that Sandusky had done something to her son. So for some time the powers that be upon the campus of Penn State knew. Not only did they know but they also allowed Sandusky to do his thing in their locker rooms and showers upon their campus… 
knowing what he was doing. And they never tried to stop him.
In almost all cases of predators… whether a school teacher, coach, Boys Scout leader, preacher, priest etc… they seek out victims of a certain nature. Usually children without a father… or come from troubled homes… underprivilged and/or minority children etc. Children who cannot help themselves …or come from parents who do not have resources. And so it was with Sandusky… and his fake little organization that had been supposedly set up to aid underpriviledge children.
In reading the Washington Times article on this story… it states that Sandusky lived only a mile away from an elementary school. People who are into children sexually… try to get as close to them as many ways as possible.
I recall as little child when walking to school how the cars were lined up just a little beyond the school yard… with white men trying to intrigue us into their cars. And I say ‘white men’ because I cannot remember seeing any vehicles with black men or any other race doing it. But I do know that all races have sexual offenders …and those who seek out little children.
Because even though the cars awaiting us on our school block just outside of our school yard were white men… I had encounter Hispanic men… and black men quilty of doing the same… trying to entice little children to lure them into sex. I eventually did become 1 of them that got lured.
But once while working in Jersey… I was on the bus riding somewhere in Newark when I happened to glance out the window. I saw a black man in the broad daylight… in the middle of people on the sidewalk. There he was with his penis in his hand following behind this very young little girl… who trying to escape him ran into a corner store. And that man went into the store right behind her… with his penis still in his hand.
That scene shocked me. I often lament that I did not get off that bus and go back to help that little girl. That thought of her …that little girl and that …and that MAN stays in my mind. And I will forever regret not getting off that bus.
Men travel all over the world to places where they can indulge with very young girls and boys freely. The child sex trade is big… and I guess exploding. So many poor children around the globe are being exploited 
everywhere… even in this country for money. Some given up by their own parents in exchange for drugs and alochol …and/or cigarettes. And in poorer countries in exchange for food, housing or whatever else the sale of their little child can bring.
What a curel world.
Sandusky threw himself into things which gave him massive access to a lot of little boys. Even in the founding of an organization that was supposedly set up to help and aid underprivilged children, Sandusky put himself in an arena that availed more and more little boys to him. So much so that his organization somehow got parents to allow their sons to go and stay in his home with him and his wife.
And speaking of Sandusky’s wife… of course she had to come out finally …claiming that she knew nothing. She knew.
At least 1 victim alleged that he cried out for her to help him… and she did nothing. Sandusky’s wife would be party to Sandusky’s crimes if she did claim that she knew. But there is no way that she could not have known… especially since so many others did… and so much of it took place within their own home. And it appears that after a point the man began to feel that he was untouchable.
When the charges started surfacing… what did Sandusky do?
He called some of his victims to come and have dinner with him. Who does that?
The next thing that he lawyers are going to claim is that Sandusky is insane… and probably that he was a victim of abuse himself. They always play those same game cards. If they can’t see where they can win the cases 1 way… lawyers shift their game play and start saying ‘he couldn’t help himself.’ ’He was under great strain.’ ‘His father never loved him’… and used to abuse him… or the man down the street… or his uncle. The story is always the same.
But if this were true than everyone would be a perpetrator… a pedophile… a sexual 
predator… an abuser of women, children and/or boys. But this is not so. And most people in some way or other have been abused.
If you remember John Gacy… the mass murder years ago from Chicago or a suburb outside of Chicago. He was a contractor who used to dress up as a clown and perform at all kinds of chartities, parades, kiddie parties etc. When a 15 year old turned up missing they discovered that Gacy had not only abducted him but killed him too. They found that Gacy had done the same to many other young boys …all of whom they discovered were buried behind the walls and under the floor broads of Gacy’s home.

We would all say that such a man must have been crazy.
How could he have done what he had done?
And then to have buried those boys… more than 13 of them within the framework of his own home.
Now, that sounds crazy. But he was smart enough to continue to do what he had been doing for years. And who knows how long really that John Gacy had been raping and killing young boys before he thought about deposing of their bodies within the walls and floors of his own home?
Sandusky may look crazy now… and I would
want to look crazy too if I thought I was faced with the rest of my life behind bars. But while he was grabbing a hold of those 10 and 11 year old boys… he wasn’t crazy. He was enjoying it… and worst of all he thought himself smart.
Didn’t say much about it… but it did not get pass me.
That Herman Cain was a real joke.
For a while it looked like the Republicans had decided to run a supposed ‘black man’ against President Obama. Now, that would have really have been a joke if they could have mustered it. But poor ol’ Herman had too many ghost in his closet.
The first thing I would like to look at regarding Herman Cain is why?
Why would you even think about running for President of the United States knowing what Herman knew?
Herman knew that he had a problem keeping his hands to himself.
Speaking of which… I have decided that I have really got to talk to some guy myself.
Not Herman but somebody just like him.
Everytime I see this guy he has got to embrace me… and kiss me. I do not like it.
A couple of years I stopped the guy as he reached for me… saying ‘no.’ And I told him that I only wanted him to shake my hand if he had to make contact with me.
This I did… and I did write about this situation in a prior blog of mine. I did this after I was standing in a bank line …and the guy seeing me stepped into the bank, and then commenced to plant a kiss on the back of my neck.

At first it did not hit me… but when it did I was livid.
How dare that man sneak up behind me and kiss me on my neck …like he and I had something going on. Nothing could be further from the truth… but anybody witnessing that would have believed otherwise. The Bible tells us that we have to forsake even the illusion of un-holiness.
So, the very next time I saw the guy… here he came again reaching for me… and I stopped him. And I told him ‘no’ …and I broke it down for him believing I had settled that matter. And I had.
But it seems that he has totally forgotten that conversation these days.
If somebody told me that something I was doing made them uncomfortable… I would cease to do it. I respect other people’s space. But it seems that many people do not. And 
when it comes to men and women… men lack a lot of understanding. We don’t like just any ol’ body grabbing a hold of us… or kissing us.
And why should we?
Why does a woman have to tell you ‘no’ regarding anything pertaining to her?
It would seem that a man’s respect of women would automatically give way to the respect of her space.
But it does not. They clearly do not think like us.
Men feel that they can do to women whatever they want.
I do not feel it flattering to have some funky man grab a hold of me.
Nor do I just want everybody in this world to come and just freely lay a kiss on me.
Which is something that just happened to me only a couple of hours ago. Another person I wish would just stop.
With all the various disases going around… all kinds of things on people’s lips… tongues and mouth. No, I don’t want people coming up and kissing on me. And 
particularly people I certainly do not know… or hardly know… and plan on keeping that way.
Having worked for years with men… I am simply not tolerant of a lot of things now. Like I don’t want anybody calling me ‘baby.’ I listened to them calling each other ‘man’ and referring to each other by their names… but when it came to me… is was ‘honey.’
I was not anybody’s ‘honey.’ I had a name… and that name was just fine with me. My parents gave it to me… and called me by it all their lives.
So, why not everybody else?
But it was a way of degrading me… minimizing me. And it is a thing which men love to do to women in the work force.
They like keeping us in ‘our place.’
Herman Cain… it was clear to me even when I first heard him speak …that he was the kind of man I would have never liked working for. He sounded arrogant… puffed up… and filled with himself. Narcissistic in every possible way.
Which would account for why he would believe …knowing his history with women… and how many women who had filed charges against him… why he would think that such a man with ‘that kind’ of a history …as his would be qualified to run, and be sucessful in a bid for the Presidency of this country.
Yes, that would explain why.
I only say 1 thing… Bill Clinton.
And maybe you might say… John Kennedy too.
Okay, I’ll give you that. We could include the Senate and Congress too. And while we are going at it… let us not stop there… but include Governors and other elected officials… police officers… company heads etc… And we could go on forever… and thi
s list does not exclude 
women. Because there have been a few.
Moral standards are not what they used to be… nor are they required it seems. Why would you quiz and question canidates for certain Cabinet offices in this country… and just allow people with obvious character fawls run for the highest office of this country?
Or any office?
Or run any school?
Or head up any church?
What are we thinking?
How could we be so caught up with people that we are willing to just lay aside certain obvious faults in their moral nature?
As much as I used to feel that I liked Bill Clinton back in the day… that’s slang for when he was President… and/or running for President… the truth of matter is this. The man had issues.
Herman Cain had and has issues. And his were bigger than Clinton’s. Because the man dotted upon himself so much… and saw no wrong in ‘him.’
What an egomaniac?
And lets not negate Herman’s propensity for lying.

Forget ’999′… it would have been more like ’666′ if Herman got in.
Now, going back to the game plan. The plan was to chump up Cain to run against Obama. Thereby pitting 2 black men against each other… which ‘they’ felt would split the black vote. This in turn would allow… ‘their’ real guy… an outside canidate to ease into a win, and take the White House.
That was the political game plan of some key Republicans. It was the way that they were hoping would guarantee a win for them and their party.
Do we really look that DUMB????
We are really not the dumber race. Believe that if you believe nothing else.
Because ‘you’ had to know that was a game the Republicans was playing …by pretending Herman Cain was so popular among Republicans.
Who were they kidding?
Most Republicans hate Obama. And they hate him for the most part for no other 
reason than the fact that he is a black man.
And how dare he be black …and smart too.
Everything that Obama has tried to do the Republican Party has blocked. Any bill or intitative to get American moving and back on track they have hindered. Even down to refusing federal funds to begin rebuilting America’s infrastructure. All for the pleasure of claiming that Obama is a failure.
But Obama is not a failure. Failure is something which is not in Obama’s vocabulary. Nor does he believe in quitting because it appears that the deck is stacked against him. And do note the word ‘appears.’
I have come to know that oftentimes it not what it ‘appears’ to be… that is what actually is. That’s why I do not follow polls. Learned in my statistics class… No, it was in 1 of my poli-Sci classes on research… that taught me ‘it is how you phrase the question‘… to get the answer that you want. Pollsters are paid by interest groups… parties that want to slant whatever their interest is… in their favor by misleading people on a bunch of supposed facts that many times are not true and are meaningless.
So, the polls that showed Cain to be a favorite…
How in the world could you have believed that?
No, way in the world were the Republicans going to put any black man into the White House. And never 2 black Presidents… back to back?
They would have all curled up and died first.
So, that whole thing about Herman Cain was a myth. They were never going to let him in the White House. Not unless he was going in delivering some pizza.
Must say though that it is a shame when men in power be they white or black… or any nationality… sit in power, and chose to abuse the power vested in them. By proving 
themselves less than moral. They have no character. Cain clearly is a man without character.
If they choose not to say anything else about Obama… at least his character is certainly not an issue. And his desire to uphold the values of his office, and that as a husband and family man are sure and true.

MURDERING WOMEN STEALING BABIES…LIVING THE BIG LIFE ON the POLITICAL SCENE…
It is baffling to me the times we now live in… and just how we happened to get here????
They are… the times we are now living in… they are strange and seem so foreign to me. The sickness of the crimes… the extreme insanity… and cruelity that seems to be abounding in these times.
Who ever before ever heard of women ripping unborn babies out the bellies of pregnant women for the purpose of stealing their children?
To read story… after story… Well, to find headline after headline of such is frightening to me. Not frightening in that I am afraid it will happen to me… because I am not pregnant. And doubt that I will be ever again.
But frightening in that such things are happening to anyone.

I have not particularly cared for a lot of people. Well, not so many as that. It is really not my nature to distain people. And certainly if for some reason I should… to let it mount up in me turning into some kind of twisted wackco thang. No. I think not. I have neither the time or energy… to linger there in those kinds of deep and dark places in my mind. I am much too busy.
But for those where perhaps I might have found some kind of fault in… I have never thought about taking out or enacting any type of criminal act against them. Though I must admit to picking up a baseball bat or 2… Okay, maybe 3 or 4… Oh, alright… maybe 5 or 6 times… just to get my thought through …or to go after somebody. But that was all before I became
saved. And never without due cause.
But I have never looked upon any woman… pregnant or otherwise …and wished that I was her… or that I had her baby. And then came up with a plan to replace her… or to steal her unborn… or born child. But people have. Some people have.
They truly and really have.
People try to pretend to be other people… and all kinds of craziness.
There was this guy in New York City who killed an elderly man, so that he could take his apartment and live in it. He also was living off the man’s social socurity… until they caught up with him.
But it goes beyond being sick… or insane… or being just plain crazy.
How dumb is it that you would get a knief, overcome some woman, and turn yourself into some kind of surgeon… cutting open her belly, remove the unborn child…and leave the woman bleeding to death?
While these predators go around for the most part pretending to have given birth to the infant… if it survives… that they had illegally taken…while committing murder in order to obtain it.
Who would do this kind of thing???????

Though clearly they all look like fruit cakes… and perhaps I should not slander fruit cakes in such a way. Because I used to kind of like them.

And they are women of all colors, types, body sizes, come from different states, countries etc… etc… etc… And now they vary in ages as well. A 14 and 13 years did the exact same thing.
They take the baby from the belly of another woman in order to pretend that they had given birth to the baby. A baby that they either lost some how by mis-carriage or whatever. Or they never were pregnant with in the first place. So, they took the infant from the mother’s womb… so they could- Now, get this… let me say this slowly…
So they could pretend to some man that it was his baby.
I cannot go any further with this.
Because if the truth be told there are some things which I just do not have any patience with. There are times that I think tax-payer’s money should not be wasted on. There are lots of ways tax-payers would be better served by the tax dollars taken out of each and every pay check, then by paying for cases like these that really do not warrant trials.
I know… I know…it would open the door to many of us being locked away for no cause at all. Because the system itself needs correction. BUT…
When you think about the economy… about the millions upon millions upon millions of people out of work… who 
could use another extension to their unemployment benefits …or whatever have you. There are plenty of places where money could go that would really serve some type of legitimate societal interest. But not the paying of lawyers and court costs for people like these women, in these cases cutting up women to steal unborn infants from their mother’s womb.
Why bother?
What would be their defense?
What defense could they have?
“I was crazy.”
We do not need to waste valuble court time to hear that.
And we have not even began to talk about the health issues that may surround the infants… or the lives and outcome of the murdered women’s other children, and family members if she had any.
Perhaps, it doesn’t sound Christian like to you… and I am a Christian. 
I love the Lord… and He loves me. But in Biblical text we are informed to not lust after our neighbors possessions… it is called coveteness. Or to not envy them…that is coveteness too… and to do right by all men. And that ”thou shalt not kill.” Or “steal.”
So, I do not advocate killing such people… but I do believe they should be locked away. And kept away forever.
Perhaps, you feel differently. But the acts in the stories listed above were senseless, hateful acts enacted upon peo
ple who were probably very unsuspecting… and very very innocent victims.
When I went up to read a story on 1 woman cutting a woman and stealing her infant, I in my wildest imagination never expected to see a listing of stories…one after another of simular acts.
I recall when I read the first story of this nature. It was some maybe 6 or 7 years ago.
The story centered around 2 women who had met over the internet… Craiglist or myspace ….or something like it.
One of the women was pregnant and the other woman befriended her. Over a period of time as their friendship grew… I guess… the pregnant woman gave the other woman her address. Whereupon near the time of pregnant woman’s delivery date for the birth of her child, the other woman went to whatever state where the pregnant woman lived and performed surgery upon the pregnant woman, killing her and removing the unborn infant from her body.

That was the very first time I had ever heard of that kind of story. So, it was a shock for me to find story after story after story… of women in various states all having done the same exact thing since that initial story.
This copy-cat thing is ridiculous. And the only way to deal with such things is to deal harshly with people 
who commit them.
But because the mind of people today is so warped the news sources should not divulge so much information about certain kinds of heinous crimes.
Also, I was grossly turned off by that reality show that showed doctors actually performing surgeries. Don’t know whether or not it still comes on… but is the need?
Who really needs to watch shows like that?
Or do our children really need video games that depict people realistically being blown apart, or shot to death, or cut up etc… etc…?
What are we developing here?????
One can clearly state that there is little reason for why the times are as they are today. Truly. There are a bunch of heartness conscienceless people walking around today. And we have only ourselves to blame… because of what we allow either in our homes via the television …or via our children’s video games… or in the movies on the big screen… or in the magazines… or whatever else and wherever else people consume negative images whether it be through music, or music videos, as well… we allow it.
It is amazing to me the things that people will get up and go marching against… such as same sex-marriages. Something which may never affect them, their family or anyone that they know. But they will picket against it…. vote against any politican remotely in favor of it, they will form rallies and bus trips to go to capitol statehouses. But they say nothing about what is allowed to strem into their homes, on their radios… through out their movies or even from page to page of the magazines put out form our consumption.
Whether Bobby marries Bobby or not is not anything that really deal with any of us personally. But the impact of what comes across the airwaves of our televisions and radios… and what is printed in our books and magazines, and movies does. And it can be harmful… hurtful… and can produce and inspire all kinds of criminal and violent acts.
But we say nothing.
We said nothing to the 10 Commanments being removed from Courtroom halls and buildings. We said nothing really about prayer being removed from schools… or the conversation of removing ‘In God we trust’ off of our currency.
When will we say something to something that really counts, is the 
question?
When will we ceased to be tossed to and fro with every whim like mindless and blind puppets?
There are a lot of things that should be challenged… and that serve no useful social purpose. Such as television shows that show people actually getting cut up during surgeries. And then we wonder why there suddenly is a rash of people out there using surgerical techniques while perpetrating various crimes.
It seems that there are those who have been voted into political office who think not about those whom they vowed to represent… but entered into the arena of politics so that they could establish some kind of name for themselves.
They consider not the needs of those whom they are vowed to serve and 
represent… whether or not they voted them in or not.
When 1 goes into political office it not for a chosen few… but for the masses of which they are said to be over their district… ward or whatever have you.
That being said…

Politics. That is the reason why.
There is no good reason behind hindering a bill that would put people to work rebuilding the infrastructure of this country. Clearly, it is a plan that could not fail… because bascially it calls for a lot of manual labor. As opposed to a bunch of computers or robots doing the work.

In a vote of 50 to 49 Obama’s Job Bill was defeated in the U.S. Senate. Every single Republican 
voted against the bill… inclusive of 2 turn-coat Democrats, Ben Nelson, Nebraska, and Jon Tester, Montana. The Jobs Bill needed 60 Senators to vote in favor of it in order for it to pass… to begin the process of putting thousands of Americans back onto the work rolls again.
There are people who do a lot of clicking and clacking… mostly because they want attention. Almost all of the Tea Party people can be classified as clickers and clackers. They only want some 
attention. Perhaps, they even have visions of themselves rising up out of the ranks to become some kind of major political player… or the next Barack Obama. Though they would never say that.
But they click and clack… posture… and pose… and never do anything for anyone. Because they can’t see beyond their own nose and selfish political goals.
The Jobs Bill needed to be passed. Not for the sake of Washington… but for the sake of the millions who have been out work …and can’t seem to find any solutions to their non-working dilemmas. They have been looking… but there is nothing out there. 
Wouldn’t any bill that created any amount of substantials jobs been better than nothing?
To the people without 1 it would. But to a bunch of politicans who already have it made in the shade… quasi professions …politicans made up of lawyers… and now some doctors and businessmen… what do they have to worry about?
Their families are fed. Their bills are all being paid. They don’t have to worry about adequate health care… and they’veall got a job… supposedly representing you and me.
Every which way President Barack Obama has tried to re-boot this economy… and to get it in gear and restart it… along comes a bunch of Republican Politicans who would rather sabotage the President… rather than aid in helping America out of a dilemma that a former President… a Republican like themselves… put us al
l in.
A man who was a known and proven liar… yet nobody ever called him ‘liar.’ Yet, that word has been thrown at President Obama by so many Republicans… it makes you wonder what planet were they on while George W. Bush was sitting in the White House as President of the United States?

THE VERIZON ATTITUDE… changes in the workplace…
I can’t imagine working for anyone who threatened me.
In reading a posting on my facebook page, I read where the daughter of 1 of my facebook friends was told by her employer during Hurrican Irene-
“If any of you leaves, you’re fired.”
Meaning that if any of the employees left the job they would be terminated.
I can’t imagine me wanting to work for anyone who would even consider trying to strong-arm me like that… and particularly in a state of emergency. But it made me think of 9/ll.
On September 11th …on the day that the airplanes flew into the World Trade Center, after the first plane hit the first tower …many of the workers in the second tower were told to remain seated, to continue working.
But friends of mine who were inside the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center that day… told me that when they saw that first plane hit… they didn’t care what their supervisors said… they were getting out of there. And because many people 
had already began evacuating that second tower, as soon as they saw what had happened to the first tower… it for many meant the difference between life and death.
A few days ago while driving down to Atlanta, I happened to catch a news story on 1010 WINS …an all news radio network in New York City. I had seen the picketers standing before various Verizon locations. But I did not know what was going on.

It seems that the contract for 45,000 Verizon workers had expired… meaning the Verzion worker’s contract is 
now up for renegotiation. Playing hardball, Verizon withdrew their worker’s health plan when the workers went out on strike. Verzion claim that they could no longer afford to pay for the worker’s health coverage because they were losing so much money with them being out on strike.
BALONEY.
Everybody who is doing any business with Verizon should cancel every service …or whatever have you with them.
What money is Verizon losing?
None. In fact, with the workers out… they are saving money. Because Verizon doesn’t have to pay them while they are out on strike.
But the problem we face today is this… IT IS AN EMPLOYER’S MARKET.
Do you hear me?
Can you understand that?
It is like how they say it is a buyer’s market in terms of real estate sales. Because not many people are buying homes …and banks are not lending as much as they used to. So, if you got money …and it doesn’t matter about what the seller is asking 
for …make them an offer. They may just take it… you never know. Because they are not getting many other offers these days. And who knows… your’s might be their only offer.
And you see this clear across the board. Car sales and other large ticket items… because there is less cash flow these days with so many people out of work.
And therein lays the Verizon workers dilemma.Verizon is having its way with the Verizon worker’s union 
because so many people are out of work… and Verizon knows that it has the power to wheel and deal as it pleases because of the way the job market is today.
These companies have no employee loyalty. In fact, most companies today could care less about their employees. This is why most companies today do not even offer full-time employment anymore. Who needs full-time employees when there are millions of people willing… able …and ready to acce
pt part-time employment with no benefits, and wages that amount to little… but beats nothing.
There had been a time when America was sending top executives to China to learn techniques of how to create a happy and more productive working enviroment. It would seem that those executives learned something much more valuable to them. How to take an iron fist and hold it over the heads of your employees… and keep it there. Forcing them to produce more for less… while compensating them little… and forcing them to smile while the company break their backs.
I dislike companies with the Verzion attitude. My cell phone is a Sprint account… but my broadband was with Verizon. I can’t tell you how happy I am that it is off … and has been so for some time now. But I can’t see 
myself giving money to a company that will not do its employees right.
Though these companies may feel that they have the power… the truth of the matter is… no they don’t. We do. 
And our power can bring any company to its knees just as the Montgomery bus boycotts brought that city of Montgomery to its knees in the mid 1960′s, and gave way to the opening of the doors that gave us all the right to vote, sleep and eat … etc… etc… where we wanted to. Today we get on the highway and travel anywhere we want… as African American people in America… eat where we want to eat… and book a hotel and sleep where we want to sleep. But for years this was not the case at all.
I remember listening to Shirley Caesar talking about that very subject on a television show that she was being interviewed on. She said that back then when they travelled… talking about her days as a young singer travelling with Albertina Walker and the Caravan… back in latter 50′s through the 60′s. She said-
“We had to sleep in our car. Because back then they did not allow us (black folks) to stay in the hotels or the motels like they do today. And we just couldn’t pull up anywhere and eat either. Because it wasn’t allowed. If we 
wanted food. 
We had to go back around to the back the door and see if they would give us some food.”
Thank God for powerful people… who knew that they possessed power. Or we would still be sitting on the back of the bus today.
Union busting is not anything new. One of the greatest examples of it is when Ronald Reagon decided to interfere in the air traffic controller strike, PATCO …in August 1981. Reagon 
froze the air traffic controller’s $3.5 million strike fund in order to force the striking workers back to work… saying that they were in violation.

And if you remember any facts to this story… you will remember how quickly many of the striking air traffic 
controllers were replaced. While a the powers to be… then trained a bunch of unprofessionals to replace to them.
And our air ways have never been the same. They have found people sleeping and all kinds of crazy things. And we will not discuss what took place on 9/11.
Because if the truth be told… that is still a mystery to me?
How is it that at least 3 airplanes took off from Logan Airport in Boston… and got so far off of their courses. And nobody …not 1 person knew about it until very important buildings began to be flown into?
Something is wrong with that picture. And for the life of me… how was it that the 2nd airplane was allowed to hit the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center? This is even a bigger mystery to me?
Because before it did… every airplane and helicopter in New York City was up in the air that day soon after 
the 1st airplane had flown in the World Trade Center. So then, how is it that nobody saw the 2nd airplane until after it hit the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center?
My niece woke me that morning with a phone call saying that an airplane had just flown into 1 of the towers of the World Trade Center. And as she was still talking to me… some 20 minutes later the 2nd airplane flew into 
the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center.
How could that have happened?
After the 1st airplane into that air space… clearly, a 2nd air craft entering into that same air space should never have happened.
First of all, the air space around the whole area of the World Trade Center and Statue of Liberty was and is…a protected air space. Which means it was supposed to be under the protection of fighter jets anyhow. But notwithstanding the admission of the 1st air craft into that air space… clearly, a 2nd air craft entering into that same air space should have most definitely been shot down…and shot down 
long before coming in contact with the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center.
But going back to the then President Reagon who decided that he needed to step in on the striking air traffic controllers… and teach them a lesson. Reagon, of course, being the idol of ever Republican… the 1 that they most try to exemplify, and proclaim themselves to be the most like. And I wonder if that was before or after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s?
But then of course… nobody knows exactly how long Reagon had actually been losing it. Though I must say that most of the Republican Party seems to be fit candidates for an Alzheimer’s examination. Because truly most of them seem to be suffering from some sort of mental deficiency… starting with but not limited to Palin.
Something has to be wrong …mentally with a bunch of people who claim that they love something and seek so vigilantly to destroy it. And I am talking about America.
They claim that they love America. Yet everything they have been doing lately… and I am talking … for years now… has been done to undermine America… if not to utterly destroy it.
One of the most disastrous things to happen to the United States of America was something called George W. Bush. I understand how wars were used in past American History to re-jump start the economy. But George who was 
supposedly an economy major from that great learning institution known as Yale University, in New Haven, CT. George having gotten into hot water somehow either on his own… or via the un-wise thinking of some of his flunkies…they came up with a plan. The plan was to go to war. Start some wars and the economy will take off again… the money you spent will be forgotten… and forgiven… and all will be well.
But there was a problem with the plan. The work place had changed.
In years past America had plenty of factories and factory workers. But by the time George stole his way into the White House all those jobs were gone. Those factories had been closed… and years later turned into lovely condominiums. And if the companies still exists those jobs didn’t… robots had moved in and replaced the workers.
Do you remember when you used to read the Help Wanted Ads and saw a train of Bank Teller jobs being offered?
Look for that now. You won’t find it. Because many of those jobs no longer exist. Bank tellers have been replaced by atm machines.
The same has happened to a position called ‘receptionist.’ When was the last time you heard that word?
It is voice mail… and automated voice activated systems now. No more receptionist jobs almost anywhere today.
Most utility companies have closed down their offices which used to handle bill paying services. They don’t do that any more. Oh, no… If you can’t send it in by mail… or go to a local payment center at your check cashing center …or corner store… then for a charge call them and they will take your payment over the phone.
In 2008 Americans voted for a change. While Republicans are 
quick to say that Obama did not… or has not delivered.
Yet on the other hand Republicans will never say-
“And we have done everything within our power to ensure it.”
On every issue… and non-issue Republicans have done their best to block Obama from even trying to do anything to fix the mess. A massive and highly expensive and burdensome mess… that George W. Bush… a Republican …whom I believe will never ever be forgotten… for the mess that he left us all in. And when President Obama has managed to get something pass them… they … the Republicans attack it like a bunch o
f mad dogs.
Whoever said that Barack Obama was a magician?
Whoever said Obama was Merlin?
Or even had some kind of ‘black magic?’
In case you did think that let me be the first to just say-
“Are you for real?”
Magic is an illusion. It is based upon trickery… cunning and deceit. Thank goodness these are not traits that are found within our President Barack Obama.
President Barack Obama has never lied to us about ‘weapons of mass destruction.’
He has never tried to pull the wool over our eyes… by blinding us with a bunch of codes that meant absolutely nothing… code RED… code YELLOW… (if you have no understanding of this then you would have had to have lived in New York City following 9/11).
Obama has never tried to used 1 fear tactic to keep us up under our beds… or hid in our closets.
President Barack Obama is not the cause for why America is where America is today. He had nothing at all do do with it. He did not bring us here. In fact, as quiet as it is kept… he is trying to fix this mess. It is more than possible that he might aid in bringing us a long ways out of this runt… if we all stop listening to lies. Stop being deceived… and turning every which way the winds blows.
It is Republican deceit and lies that have turned this country upside down… and not Barack Obama.
- Corporate greed and mis-handling of business was here long before Barack Obama walked into the White House
- Job losses many years before Obama
- National Debt was already there… but really began running away after George W. Bush stepped into the Presidential picture
- Problems on Wall Street with the stock market are not new… trace them back into the 1930′s
Several States now have had to fight against Republican Governors who lead people into believing that they were either the man or woman for the job… and would wholly work for them… the voters. Telling them that they were a person with their interests in their mind and in heart… only for those voters to lament a vote that they ever casted in that person’s favor. It ended up costing voters benefits… or their job… or a less powerful union etc. Because that Republican political had an agenda. And that agenda had nothing to do with the people’s minds… or hearts that they con into believing in them with their claims of ‘I want to serve you.’
The Republicans are so slimy they have created a 2nd Republican Party… the co-called Tea Party a group of real lunatics… formed by that lunatic queen Palin and few other crazies. All of whom who have fallen out with one another… that is how firmly rooted they were. Like a bunch of crabs in a barrel… all clamouring to be the top dog… and if they can’t then they pick up their marbles and go home.
They have all… whether they call themselves ‘Tea Party’ or not… they …the Republicans have all developed a seek and destroy attitude. And that attitude did not just get started when President Barack Obama stepped into the White House… it is an attitude that they have long adapted to.
You need only to look at the 2000 Presidential Election between George W. Bush and John Kerry to see how demented the Republicans are. They saw nothing 
wrong …NOTHING…in undermining the entire American practice of our right to vote… and to have ALL our votes counted. And it was not something that they were not bold enough to do so all could see… and dared any of us to do anything about it.
So, don’t blame Obama. This mess is not his. But he decide to champion the cause… to try to set America back on the right course. To raise Her from low depths She sank to under what no one can call ‘leadership’… but just say… George Bush brought Her to.
Don’t look for magic. Look at it as it really is. The world has changed. And the work place and work force has changed with it.
Many jobs that people used to do… no longer exist.
Re-training people has it place… I guess. But when they are re-trained where will they go?
Everyone is learning computers… but there are only but so many computer jobs.
The medical field is good. In a field that had nothing but female mostly… had seen a great emergence of male. Use to be you never saw a male nurse… but today hospitals are loaded with them. Men are entering the nursing field in very large numbers. And to think there was a time that such a thing… would have been seen as being sissy.
One thing is for sure… no matter what happens in this world… we all at some 
point or other need something medical. As long as we are in these bodies the need for the medical profession cannot …or will ever be replaced. But that is not to say that it too… will not evolve. It has.
However, technology is forever changing things. But even so there will still only be a need for but so many people to work in the medical field too… at any given time.
Radio stations have changed… television stations have changed. Most newspaper companies have gone out of 
business… because few people read newspapers any more. They get their news now over the internet… on their ipads… and cells. And if you haven’t noticed… most news companies have cut back drastically on their staff.
For 1 of my journalism classes, my professor… a great woman… had been booted out of her position as a staff writer for a local newspaper… a job she had had for many years. That company’s lost was of course … my great gain. Because she came with a wealth of knowledge, and understanding about the history and future of journalism… and media at large.
But if you have noticed over the internet all the news sources seem to buy their stories from 1 source. You can read the exact same story… word for word from 1 internet source to another. And if you are like me… you always have a need to want to know more… but they don’t have it to give.
And somewhere along the way… they grab ahold of this attitude: THAT LESS IS MORE.
Yeah, right… When I want to know less…or read less… I will just stop. I don’t need anyone deciding for me… when I have had enough.
Which I guess is the main reason why so many people like my blog… www.bsmith101.wordpress.com. For as you can tell… I do not believe in the ‘less is more’ concept. Nor do I just regenerate news items. What a waste that is. If I follow a story… I want to read something I haven’t already read… or at the very least …give me 
some more details …or info on whatever it is I’ve come to your website searching for.
But going back to my thought… the workplace has changed. It is not what it was 20 years ago… or even 10 years ago.
Remember all those customer service jobs that used to be in the newspapers?
Roughly about 20 years ago customer service became such a big thing. There were tons of ad campaigns about the type of service you could expect if you did business with such and such. Companies trained their employees to greet you in a special way, and to service you as quickly and efficiently as they could.
Today all of that is gone to the wind. You can stand in a line for up to 10 or 20 minutes listening 
to someone… who is working the only open window… or check-out line… carry on a conversation with another employee or either with the person who had been right ahead of before they got to the cashier.
Have you experienced that?
You are at the top of the line… but suddenly the ‘ONLY’ open window has a highly talkative employee… or someone looking around as though they are trying to wonder why ‘their’ window or ‘their’ counter is the only 1 open?
So, what do they do?
They slow down… as if mentally they have taken a mental stand in their mind… to not kill themselves trying to serve all the people who waiting in line.
No body cares about customer service any more. And so… gone are these jobs.
Switchboard operators are a thing of the past too. A little company in your area that hired local people… mostly women to man the phone lines. But then it was for mostly doctor’s offices. Today those people can be 
anywhere in the world taking tons of calls for everything from subscriptions to publications, orders for books or other products, complaints, messages, prayer requests …you name it. But small companies in your town probably do not offer this service any more because it has been farmed out around the world.
Most of the manufacturing companies long departed …going into Mexico and other countries where the labor was cheaper.
This country really does not have a great number of blue collar workers any more. Most of the automobile
workers were replaced by robots… or companies that sent large divisions of their manufacturing into other countries as well.
So where are the jobs?
Where are the openings that are available …or will become available for all the displaced workers who are currently out of work… and have been so now for years?
There are none. And nobody can do anything to change that… because of computers coming into the marketplace. They… computers brought about an unpresidented change to what was our workplace.
The only thing you can do is look for the next big wave in the future. That will
More and more colleges are offering on-line courses. Have you noticed that?
Some schools are over the internet only.
I am dropping hints here. Personally, I hate on-line courses… and feel that they are a huge waste of time. 
If you are going to sit in isolation… with no classroom interaction… then you might as well just read the book and be done with it.
But if you were considering a teaching career. Great… but you should also consider this fact. That soon many of those teaching jobs too will soon be gone. Due to on-line classes and on-line classrooms… and schools… cities… colleges and universities looking to cut their budgets. It is coming… and soon the classroom as we know it today will be gone forever too… just like yesterdays work force.
And with it will be gone… tenure. Tenures will bite the dust just like pension plans… and all other full-time employment; and whatever else they can do away with for the sank of the bottom line.

Soon even common currency as we know it will be gone too. They are already talking about stop minting the $1 bill. Soon it will just be all plastic… be it a debit card …or credit card…. or something else. But the coins will be gone …and the paper bills.
Bet all those folks working at the Mints all felt that their jobs were well secured. 
We have all better start to think again.
Who ever thought there would be no more pension plans?
Or health care benefits on your job?
I didn’t.
You really have to be a visionary. You have to look deep into the future. You must go beyond your nose… if you truly want to have a chance in the future. You have to look deep beyond what you
see. The future is what you cannot visually see… but something coming.
Many people now do not even go into the office any more. They can do all their work from home. They write their news articles at home… edit news copy at home… edit books at home… and mother-frames and inter-locking networks are big things in corporations now.
I do see computers… and our dependence upon them growing.
In New York City they have all most totally done away with ticket booth operators down in the subway system. They too have been replaced by machines… which can dispense to you fare tickets. And while in Boston not so long ago… I noticed that they were doing the same in their subway system.
The world is becoming a place of less working people… and more automated machines. And unless you are prepared to service these machines… or program these machines… your work history will too soon come to an abrupt end. And you will find yourself with a need to be re-trained… to nothing.
So, when George W. Bush thought that he could jump start the economy by creating a war… with the hope that the war would create jobs. He and his people forgot something. All those factories were gone… and so weren’t those jobs. And even if the jobs could be revived… robotics still had replaced the manpower that used to produce the goods.
So, the wars didn’t work. But only sunk us deeper and deeper into debt as the years have dragged on. But of course …the Republicans will never tell you any of this. Any more than Verizon will tell you that they were 
happy for any old excuse to rid themselves of paying their employee’s health benefits.
Irene hit the East Coast hard… and it seems that my cousin who informed me of the storm was right. Sadly there were a few deaths. But thank God He saw most of us through it safely.
My cousins and friends in various places… including my brother had to deal of electrical outages. But that is 
the least. Many suffered damages due to flooding and/or falling trees.
The good news is Irene wasn’t as bad as what had been expected. To God be the glory.
The New York subway is up and running once again. Though on our way back from Atlanta… I did notice where many of the over-passes in the New York area were being worked on. And that was following the earthquake that hit us… before Irene came bouncing and blowing in.

THE TIMES…Pastor Zackery Tims and Nicholas Ashford… gone…
First Zackery Tims …and now Nicholas Ashford.
Oh, I know… I know that Nick was not known for writing and singing gospel music. But no one can deny that he did come from a strong gospel background… that sometimes even managed to show up in his song writing and way of singing.
And what songs they were. He was gifted… and what he didn’t have …his partner and later to become his wife… Valerie Simpson had. Together they wrote some of Motow’s best known music. Songs like ‘Ain’t No Moutain High Enough,’ ‘It Takes Two,’ ‘Reach Out and Touch Somebody’s 
Hand’ ….just to name a few. And I do mean just a few… because their list does indeed truly go on and on.
For a while Val and Nick could be caught holding down the evening drive-time radio slot at WBLS,in New York City. In fact, 1 afternoon I decided to drop by BLS with the hope of getting in to see Vinny Brown, an old friend and co-worker who at the time was the Program Director for the station. While waiting …to my unexpected surprise as I happened to look up… standing before me were 2 people I would have had to be totally blind to not to have recognized from the very moment my eyes came up on them.
“Val and Nick,” I heard myself say… as my head jerked back slightly in surprise.
It just kind of eased out of my mouth… I hadn’t realized they were handling BLS’s on-air drive-time shift at that time. So, I was really surprised to look up and see them, standing right there before me… close enough for me to just reach out and touch them. Nick slightly smiled at me… while Val kind of looked off.
From the time I hit college Nick and Valerie had been busy in recording studios. So, I had 
looked at and played just about every album of their’s. Definitely a sign of the time… because most of the kids don’t even know what an album was …or a 45 for that matter. But yes …I had played Val and Nick for many years. And it didn’t hurt for me to be a big fan either… which meant as often as I could I would sneak them in on my music lists rotations.
As the years went on I didn’t have to continue to ease… I just played them… back to back …or 
however I wanted. Them and Phyllis Hyman… Donnie and Roberta… Friends of Distiction… Dells… Roy Ayres… George Duke… and whoever else I wanted to program. Including
Motown’s Temptations, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye… and just so much good music… The kids don’t even have a clue… they have nothing like it today.
Nobody writes good music any more… they don’t even know what it is to have 
anything called ‘good lyrics.’ They… the kids are too busy buying beats. A lot of which are stolen from times gone… times that music like that during which Val and Nick came from …and wrote during.
Though they …Val and Nick had long since turned their attention to other things …such as going into the restaurant business… New York’s Sugarbar and I forget what their first restaurant was called …it had been on 22nd Street also in Manhattan.
And whenever traveling home on I-95… as I passed Stamford, CT… my mind would always run across them, as I knew that for a while at least they had made their home in Connecticut.
Having their number I called them once while seeking investors for 1 of my feature film projects. Though I failed to reach them initially… you will never know to my surprise… how thrill I was to receive a call back from them concerning the message that I had left. Val told me that they were just getting ready to open up another restaurant… which was to become the Sugarbar. So, they couldn’t afford to do it at the time. She appologized and told me maybe the next time.
I hung up not at all feeling let down. All I could think was… wasn’t that nice for them to take the time to call me back?

While living in Chicago… Millie J… used to visit a friend of mine by the name of
Jean… who was Tyrone Davis’ sister. Millie had come to town to perform and while talking with Jean… I overheard her say-
“While I was coming through the airport guess who I came across? 
These two people walking around holding hands. I didn’t even have to look twice. I knew right off it was nobody but Nick and Val.”
They had that something special… kind of like what Michelle and Obama have. A total appreciation for each other… and a desire to always be in touch with one another… as though they cannot do or bear to be without each other.
Just a few seconds ago, a friend of mine informed me that Nick had dealt with sustance abuse. Never knew that …or ever heard that. So, I don’t know for sure. I have not seen him or Val for years now. But I know their music anywhere or anyhow I hear it.
Personally, I cannot imagine Val without Nick. She loved him… and held on to him. And he loved her… and held onto her. And together they held on to each other …a profoundly good example of 2 people who truly walked in love with one another. I certainly pray her strenght in the Lord… and that of their children and other family members.
I had heard his testimony. And what an awesome testimony he had had regarding how Go
d had saved and pulled him out of a messed up life of drug addiction… and having come from a home where nobody knew the Lord. How God had put someone in his path that gave him an invitation… and 1 day for whatever reason Zackery Tims, some 8 or so years ago… called a man on his job who had invited him to come and go to church with him. And that night he got saved… and his life was forever changed.

A megachurch Pastor having a congregation of more than 4,000 members in the Orlando, FL area… on this past Wednesday, Pastor Zackery Tims was found dead on the floor of his Time Square hotel room. The first information said… heart attack. But later information started circulating… that a white powder sustance… cocaine had been found on him.
I had long ago stopped watching him … or some reason or other. I cannot remember why… but it always seems to me that as you watch some of these television evangelists… you like them in the beginning, but then they begin to shift. And everything about them and what they are preaching changes.
I cannot say that about Pastor Tims… because I cannot remember what prompted me to stop watching his program. And it might not have had been anything with him… but a time conflict between the show schedule and my schedule.
His eyes lately were watery or shiney… glossy I guess you could say… whenever I would happen to catch the tailend or some part of his show. And I am not just saying that because I am hoping that after the autopsy is finally released… it will show any drugs in his system. Because I am not… if anything quite the opposite.
I would hate to think that he would have been drawn back… into something that he was blessed enough to have been released from. But when you think back to the events that lead to his divorce… you have to think… Well, maybe.
He was involved with a stripper for a year… that is what the article read. But if it
read a year… then it is possible that it was for a longer time than that. While he was engaging in adultry with her… it is very likely that he was also indulging in other things too. And while that relationship may have ended… and who really knows… But if he was drinking or indulging in drugs as well… it is not so likely that he also just stopped abusing either. And do note I said ‘if’… because I don’t know.
I didn’t know him… or much about him except what most of you who also watched the Word Network knew about him. But I was watching the day he leaped upon the top of his pulpit podium to dramatize something he was preaching. I did think that was very odd… and all I could think was-
“That is suppose to be holy. How could he jump up on it?”
But it would seem that not much is still considered to be holy any more in church. I see preachers with baseball caps and hats on in the pulpit… and sweat suits and sneakers. Anything it seems goes today… whatever… however… whenever. My, Lord…
Whatever happened to reverencing the house …and the things of the Lord?
UPDATE: SUNDAY, January 15, 2012…As of New Years Eve this 
year Pastor Paula White has been chosen the Board of Regents of New Destiny Christian Center. And it would seem that since the autopsy done on the body of Pastor Tims was never released to the public…that drugs had indeed been found in the blood system of the late Pastor Zackary Tims.
With the announcement of Paula White becoming the chosen replacement… Well, it did not seem to sit right with Pastor Tims ex-wife. Tims’ ex-wife claims that Tims’ and her children are being robbed of their inheritance. You can read more on that by CLICKING the LINK below.
Since I am on the subject of Pastors… and since I did write a blog on it. Let me just note here that I read somewhere… or heard it… that Bishop Eddie Long quietly settled his cases 
with the young men who had filed law suits against him, for supposedly taking sexual advantage of them while they were under his religious leadership as young teenaged boys.
The settlement is said to have been $15 million total going out to the young men in question.
Perhaps it is a sign of the times… but I sincerely hope not.
Visiting with a niece and enjoying myself. Can’t you tell?
I have so much time on my hands that I decided to take some of it to write this blog. I rarely have much time these days. I am on assignment… and must pick up my pace. I have to stay busy in the things of the Lord. And at the end of the day… I just want to be ready when He comes.
And for as long as I can remember that has not changed.
I still love this picture… It is sooooo refreshing looking.
Speaking of which… while talking with a cousin this evening… she told me that they were buckling down for a bad storm that they… the insurance claims agents of the company she works for …are being prep for if it should hit us this week on the east coast.
Better get out and pick up a few things for just in case. And no need to wait until the last minute… do it now since you have gotten 
some advance info.
One other thing… while here. My niece took me by Dr. Martin L. King’s house and the Center for Non-Violence. Took a picture with a tour guide who informed me that every house on his street was bought by the Federal Government… and the 
only house on the street that is not owned by the Federal Government on that street is the King house… which is still owned by the King family. But the house is open for tours …which are done on the half-hour. 
It was amazing watching the people… black and white touring the grounds of the King’s house and the Center for Non-Violence. And it is all free… parking and everything without any hassles.
Mrs. Coretta Scott King was a very smart woman. A woman who was determined that her husband’s death was not going to be in vain… or forgotten. And I mean she did it… and she didn’t do it half-stepping either.
