BISHOP LARRY TROTTER and child in a bathtub…
I often check my blog to see exactly what people are referencing my blog to read. It often signifies a hot topic or that some event has just happened. And so was the case this morning 
when I logged in to check my blog and happened to noticed that I had gotten a lot of hits concerning Bishop Larry Trotter, of Chicago, IL., and a little girl… supposedly a 4-year-old grand-daughter of his in the bathtub together.
Immediately, I Googled the story and lo and behold there it was a picture of Bishop Trotter, and what is reported to be 1 of his young grand-daughters… and both appear naked in the bathtub together.
All I can say is who takes a bath with their children?
Or their grand-daughter????
I remember my father in the bathroom… there were times that we would pass the bathroom and 
would see that he was shaving or brushing his teeth, but by the time he was taking off any clothes we never saw him. There were times when he got into the shower and needed something and called for 1 of us… but he was always safely in the shower careful to keep himself out of our view.
For that matter my mother was pretty much the same. We never saw her in the tub or in the shower either.
They did not allow us 
into the bathroom with them while they were naked.
Years later, however, while growing up we… me and my sisters from time to time had gotten dressed in the same room or area as our mother when we had to… you know like while visiting a relative’s house or in some hotel etc. But outside of that no.
During a radio interview Bishop Trotter attempted to explain away the incident. But Bishop Trotter stated that he saw nothing wrong in getting into the tub with his very young grand-daughter. And he added that he had gotten into the tub with all of his children.
In that interview also, Bishop Trotter recalls his growing up, when he and his sisters and 
brothers bathed together. I would believe that most people who have or have had siblings may have also experienced this. But beyond a point it ceased to happen. None of us went into adulthood… or grew up as teenagers jumping in and out of a bathtub or shower with his or her sister and/or brother. That is to say… not unless something was going on. And I never grew up in that kind of family where those type of things went on. Least ways… I don’t think so… 
and never heard of any such thing in our family.
However, many people will tell you that they were sexually molested.. abused or raped by a close family member. Oprah, for 1, herself speaks of an uncle that sexually abused her. I even think Donnie McClurkin speaks of an uncle 
who abused him for years.
I have heard people testify about things that even their father had done to them sexually. So, these kinds of things do happen… and sad to say they happen more often than we all really care to talk about.
For years the DeBarge family carried around their ‘dirty little’ secret about what their had father had done to all of them while 
growing up in their mother’s house. So, this thing is not new.
So, yes eyebrows would go up upon seeing such a picture. Or when they hear of such a thing as this picture. And to say that you both had on ‘swimming trunks’… Well, it simply does not wash.
Who takes a bath with swimming trunks on?
Another question…
If it happened as Bishop Trotter says it did, then why was he taking a bath with the bathroom 
door open so that just anybody could walk in on him… much less a little child?
In fact, Bishop Trotter’s explanation for how the picture came about… the events surrounding it… and how he and his grand-daughter ended up in the same bathtub together in what looks like they are both naked… really opens the door to a whole lot of other questions?
In fact, if you really listen to that radio interview Bishop Trotter actually states that there was no reason for his little FOUR YEAR OLD GRAND-DAUGHTER to not be able to take a bath with her ‘pa-pa’ if she wanted to. WHAT??? And evidently, the little girl at 4 years old must have been down on her knees or something while on his lap in that water. Because at 4 she would be taller than we can actually make out in that picture.
I recall the first time I ever saw Bishop Trotter… he at the time was part of Full Gospel under 
Bishop Paul Morton. And I think that was about the same time that I first saw and heard Bishop Eddie Long too. Shortly, after that Full Gospel conference both Bishop Trotter and Bishop Long broke from the Full Gospel Baptist organization, and decided to pursue their own separate church organizations, New Birth and Sweet Holy Spirit.
A few years ago Bishop Long fell into his own share of 
troubles by the way of 4 or 5 young men who had been a part of his New Birth organization. To which Bishop Long later settled out of Court with, for a few million dollars against allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse.
The moment I read the story and saw the picture of Bishop Trotter, I must say that it brought back memories of Michael Jackson… and all the controversies of Michael with little kids. Namely little boys…
And just like Michael, Bishop Trotter in his radio 
interview clearly states that he found nothing to be inappropriate about him being in a bathtub naked with a little child… much less a little girl. With Michael it was that he found nothing wrong with being in bed with little boys. And like Bishop Trotter, Michael said that he did it all the time.
Bishop Trotter stated in his radio interview that ‘he used to jump into the bathtub all the time with his son, and their army men.’ Then added ‘I guess the times have changed.’
It really has nothing to do with how times have changed… which is what Bishop Trotter was trying to pass off as an accuse for the uproar over the picture. Because when you get right down to it… it is not about times changing at all. It is about putting yourself in a situation where something could happen… or bringing a small child into something they are not supposed to be exposed to.
I recall how when we were small my mother used to take us to this wading pool in our neighborhood. All the kids loved for summer to come around… and so didn’t we. During the summer our mother always took us swimming when it got too hot. There were times when she would pack us up and drove us to the beach… or to the pond where we could feed the ducks… or to that small wading pool, that was not too far from where we used to live.
The pool wasn’t very deep… but got deeper as you stepped closer and closer to the center of the 
pool. In the center of the pool you could float or try to swim and then put your feet down, and stand up any time you liked. So, we had fun playing in it… splashing… and sometimes running through it.
But then there came a time when our little pool became invaded. An occasional Spanish man or 2 would get into the pool playing around with the children. They mostly hug out near the center of that small wading pool so you could not see below their waste. Therefore, anyone sitting along the far outside edges of the pool could see the children in the water… but nothing too much under the water that 
may have been going on. And of course, the pool always had lots of kids into and out or the pool or running in the water… or splashing about further obstructing any parent’s watchful eye.
But 1 day I came to find out why they… those men liked being in the pool with us… I saw something… and I never liked going back to that pool again.

en a comment about having attended a conference where Bishop Trotter spoke here is what she said:
I went to a convention where he was at in Virginia.
He was promoting his newest series “My Wife, My Mistress, My Bitch or My Whore”.
The whole church gasp, he said don’t be in shock, don’t judge,get the CD and then you will understand. For a Bishop I thought he was out of order fo
r that.
I had come across where Bishop Trotter had written that book a while back. The title was curious to me also… and like the person who wrote that comment over the internet… I too thought it very inappropriate. Especially, since Bishop Trotter had written that book about his wife… who was… is … and had been the mother of his children… and I guess at some point the First Lady of his church.
Inappropriate is a very good word here. And I guess we can all say the same thing about him climbing into a tub… or allowing a little child to climb into a bathtub with him while he bathed.

Serena Williams on the bike champion Lance Armstrong finally admitting that he 
cheated…
“Serena Williams said Armstrong let all athletes down by doping and lying about it for so long, while No. 1-ranked Victoria Azarenka says the disgraced cyclist “deserves everything he gets.”
“I think a lot of people now look and are like, `OK, if somebody (is) that great, what about 
everyone else in every other sport?” Williams said.
“As an athlete, as someone that works really, really hard since I was 4 or 3, I think it’s a sad day for all athletes in general. Overall, it’s even more disappointing for the people that were adversely affected through everything. You can only just hope for the best for them.”
For years Armstrong had denied that he ever used any drugs to enhance his ability to become the top ranking bike cyclist in the world. And recently sat down with Oprah and confessed that he had lied.

FREUDIAN SLIP or GAFFE TODD AKINS is a DANGEROUS MAN…
Okay, I know I’m jumping on this band wagon rather late but… it is not that it got pass me. But rather I have been simmering it. You know thinking it over.
And not whether or not rape in any case or other … or under any circumstance is okay. But I have been just milling over what kind of person would say such a thing?
Rape under any circumstance is a fierce and violent act. And that says that it is a criminal act… and one which can never be justified.
By its sheer name and meaning… we all know that rape is an act which is forced upon another party, and very much without their consent… that is a crime. Hence, it is illegal and an act of aggression.
So, then how could such an act ever be classified as alright or okay… with anyone?
I have written many blogs about sex and women. About people who have committed some heinous crimes
upon innocent unsuspecting victims. Crimes against infants sexually, as well as, other small children… and it sickened me. Often causing me to leave off from writing anything further on it.
I even stopped watching television because it seemed to me that ever movie or episode of any law and order like program was a crime being perpetrated against a woman …girl or child.
I wondered how a channel such as Lifestyles or WE could call themselves channels for women, when they only programmed were movies where women were being victimized?
It was sickening. And I could not understand it… so I shut it off.
Now, here comes this Missouri State Representative in a speech while out campaigning for a Senate seat of a woman, who makes the most profoundly stupid statement anyone could possibly make in these most modern times. And all I can think is-
“There must be some skeletons in his closet.”
Because only people who perpetrate such crimes would believe them to be okay.
If ever there was a Freudian slip… this guy made it. But if Freud is right… the slip was a thinking and/or 
belief within this Akins guy from the very beginning… before he let it slip out.
Rape by its nature is a forcible act and can, therefore, never be considered anything other than an act of violence against whomever it was perpetrated upon.
But perhaps silently Akins’ thinking is really the thinking of many men. Perhaps this would explain why women who have gone to court against attackers in rape crimes… almost always are made to look like the criminal themselves. They are unrobed… and brought low. They are slandered… and their names muddied… while they are dragged through the mud.
I will never forget Anita Hill and her trip up to Capitol Hill. She was treated so badly by the Party that she actually was a member of, the Republicans. They made her look dirty… wanton… ambitious and willing to do anything kind of woman. And then they wanted to make a joke of her.
It was Ted Kennedy who final stood up and told them that they should be ashamed of themselves for their mean and ugly behavior in an effort to 
discredit her testimony against Clarence Thomas, for an appointment as a Chief Justice to the Supreme Court.
Thomas himself was never attacked nor any of the acts that Anita described that he perpetrated against her, a then interning law student fearful that her boss, Thomas, would ruin her hopes of any kind of legal career, in his effort to coerce her into a sexual relationship… which she did not submit to.
Thomas needless to say was admitted a Supreme Court Judge, a position he will hold for the remainder of his life, if he chooses to. While Anita Hill, I have no doubt, had to battle through a lot of bad press for years regarding her legal ambitions.
Was it because she was a woman… and he was a man?
Have men no responsibility for their actions when it comes to the negative things they do?
When Herman Cain was running for the Presidency earlier this year… it was amazing to see all the women in his closet, who had been paid off by the company, Godfather Pizza, that he had headed. Women who Cain had violated or attempted to violate in 1 way or other for sex.
I guess we have only to look at the Bible to see how men carry on about 
women and sex. In the story of the woman being caught in adultery… it is said that she was caught ‘in the act.’ But it is she and she alone who is dragged before Jesus for judgment.
Why?
Because many men do not accept their acts as being anything other than natural.
Oftentimes they blame the woman for their actions saying-
“She always wore short and revealing clothes.”
“There was something about how she smelled when she came around me.”
“It was her walk… you know?”
No, I don’t know.
I don’t know why anyone would feel it was or is alright to sexually or otherwise violate someone.
I had a boss… he was my manager… the manager of the sales force I worked for. As often as he could he would to drive me over to Jersey, which was the territory he had given me to work in.
While in the car he would always talk to me about sex. He would say how coke… meaning cocaine… made him horny… and a bunch of other things. I tuned him out as much as I could… only answering to whatever I
had to answer to.
Too bad Anita Hill had not hit Capitol Hill before I got that job… or some time thereafter. I would have owned that radio station… truly. Because I would have taken them to the bank. I could not stand that man… and it 
was not until later that I found out that he had been robbing me of sales I had gotten. Imagine that…
But I endured him …until I finally left that job and began my own company, Queen Bee Multi-Media Advertising & Consulting Agency. But women in the workforce are forced to endure so much when they are surrounded by a group of men, or fall upon the attention of an unscrupulous boss. 
And even today the playing field is still not fair or much better when it comes to women… but yet we endure.
And most of our endurance comes from the fact that we have families… and for a lot of women they are the head of their family. So, they have no choice but to put up with it… whatever the ‘it’ is.
So, enter this Akins fellow and opens his big mouth… just like that group of men who dragged that woman 
to Jesus. They were not without sin… and dare I say… I think Mr. Akins may not be either. And I think Freud may back me up on that 1.

Sandusky…abuser, liar, sodomite and destoryer of young boys… and Herman Cain…
Yesterday I read that Sandusky’s lawyers released to the press that the young men coming out against Penn State ex-coach Jerry Sandusky were not victims… but people who were coming forth ‘for the money.’
And you know what?
Oftentimes, victims do come forward for the money. Sometimes it might move some who would not step forward otherwise. But regards victims… are victims. Sandusky used his power, position and a shaddy charity to take advantage sexually of very young boys. They deserved to make him pay.

What a crazy statement to make. Money can’t undo what Sandusky has done.
Of course they should come forth…but all the money
in the world will never change what was stolen from those young boys. They are due whatever financial compensation they can get.
But it will never be enough.
Money cannot recover your manhood.
Money cannot restore your innocence.
Money cannot remove the guilt you feel as a child when someone violates you.
Money cannot replace that which was stolen.
Nor can money reclaim that which was eroded and may have been destoryed inside those young boys, when someone enters you into something you are too young to even understand.

There is no doubt that the man was… or is a pedophile. He destoryed lives… and 
people knew about it and turned blinded eyes on it. They should all go down.
It was criminal. And no one reported it.
In this kind of thing …and for the number of years that Sandusky had been involved with young children… I am sure that there are many more victims. And if the truth be told… I believe that Jerry probably had a few of his friends involved in it too.
Truthfully, it would not surprise me if a ring of pedophiles becomes exposed before this whole story wraps up. A ring of others involved that includes other football personnel from Penn State… and professional staff… and possibly even players on the Penn State teams too.
The world of pedophiles is very large… and encompasses all kinds of unsuspecting people. Men from all walks of life… who love little boys… and the younger the better.
N.A.M.B.L.E.R. is a national association of men who seek out young boys for sex. In fact its initals stand for National Association of Men and Boys etc… etc… This organization is large. And their motto is ‘eight is too late.’
Sick isn’t it?
In reading some of the articles that are now surfacing on this story about complaints against Sandusky at least 1 mother some time ago contacted Penn State… when her son came home with wet hair. She called the campus officals complaining that Sandusky had done something to her son. So for some time the powers that be upon the campus of Penn State knew. Not only did they know but they also allowed Sandusky to do his thing in their locker rooms and showers upon their campus… 
knowing what he was doing. And they never tried to stop him.
In almost all cases of predators… whether a school teacher, coach, Boys Scout leader, preacher, priest etc… they seek out victims of a certain nature. Usually children without a father… or come from troubled homes… underprivilged and/or minority children etc. Children who cannot help themselves …or come from parents who do not have resources. And so it was with Sandusky… and his fake little organization that had been supposedly set up to aid underpriviledge children.
In reading the Washington Times article on this story… it states that Sandusky lived only a mile away from an elementary school. People who are into children sexually… try to get as close to them as many ways as possible.
I recall as little child when walking to school how the cars were lined up just a little beyond the school yard… with white men trying to intrigue us into their cars. And I say ‘white men’ because I cannot remember seeing any vehicles with black men or any other race doing it. But I do know that all races have sexual offenders …and those who seek out little children.
Because even though the cars awaiting us on our school block just outside of our school yard were white men… I had encounter Hispanic men… and black men quilty of doing the same… trying to entice little children to lure them into sex. I eventually did become 1 of them that got lured.
But once while working in Jersey… I was on the bus riding somewhere in Newark when I happened to glance out the window. I saw a black man in the broad daylight… in the middle of people on the sidewalk. There he was with his penis in his hand following behind this very young little girl… who trying to escape him ran into a corner store. And that man went into the store right behind her… with his penis still in his hand.
That scene shocked me. I often lament that I did not get off that bus and go back to help that little girl. That thought of her …that little girl and that …and that MAN stays in my mind. And I will forever regret not getting off that bus.
Men travel all over the world to places where they can indulge with very young girls and boys freely. The child sex trade is big… and I guess exploding. So many poor children around the globe are being exploited 
everywhere… even in this country for money. Some given up by their own parents in exchange for drugs and alochol …and/or cigarettes. And in poorer countries in exchange for food, housing or whatever else the sale of their little child can bring.
What a curel world.
Sandusky threw himself into things which gave him massive access to a lot of little boys. Even in the founding of an organization that was supposedly set up to help and aid underprivilged children, Sandusky put himself in an arena that availed more and more little boys to him. So much so that his organization somehow got parents to allow their sons to go and stay in his home with him and his wife.
And speaking of Sandusky’s wife… of course she had to come out finally …claiming that she knew nothing. She knew.
At least 1 victim alleged that he cried out for her to help him… and she did nothing. Sandusky’s wife would be party to Sandusky’s crimes if she did claim that she knew. But there is no way that she could not have known… especially since so many others did… and so much of it took place within their own home. And it appears that after a point the man began to feel that he was untouchable.
When the charges started surfacing… what did Sandusky do?
He called some of his victims to come and have dinner with him. Who does that?
The next thing that he lawyers are going to claim is that Sandusky is insane… and probably that he was a victim of abuse himself. They always play those same game cards. If they can’t see where they can win the cases 1 way… lawyers shift their game play and start saying ‘he couldn’t help himself.’ ’He was under great strain.’ ‘His father never loved him’… and used to abuse him… or the man down the street… or his uncle. The story is always the same.
But if this were true than everyone would be a perpetrator… a pedophile… a sexual 
predator… an abuser of women, children and/or boys. But this is not so. And most people in some way or other have been abused.
If you remember John Gacy… the mass murder years ago from Chicago or a suburb outside of Chicago. He was a contractor who used to dress up as a clown and perform at all kinds of chartities, parades, kiddie parties etc. When a 15 year old turned up missing they discovered that Gacy had not only abducted him but killed him too. They found that Gacy had done the same to many other young boys …all of whom they discovered were buried behind the walls and under the floor broads of Gacy’s home.

We would all say that such a man must have been crazy.
How could he have done what he had done?
And then to have buried those boys… more than 13 of them within the framework of his own home.
Now, that sounds crazy. But he was smart enough to continue to do what he had been doing for years. And who knows how long really that John Gacy had been raping and killing young boys before he thought about deposing of their bodies within the walls and floors of his own home?
Sandusky may look crazy now… and I would
want to look crazy too if I thought I was faced with the rest of my life behind bars. But while he was grabbing a hold of those 10 and 11 year old boys… he wasn’t crazy. He was enjoying it… and worst of all he thought himself smart.
Didn’t say much about it… but it did not get pass me.
That Herman Cain was a real joke.
For a while it looked like the Republicans had decided to run a supposed ‘black man’ against President Obama. Now, that would have really have been a joke if they could have mustered it. But poor ol’ Herman had too many ghost in his closet.
The first thing I would like to look at regarding Herman Cain is why?
Why would you even think about running for President of the United States knowing what Herman knew?
Herman knew that he had a problem keeping his hands to himself.
Speaking of which… I have decided that I have really got to talk to some guy myself.
Not Herman but somebody just like him.
Everytime I see this guy he has got to embrace me… and kiss me. I do not like it.
A couple of years I stopped the guy as he reached for me… saying ‘no.’ And I told him that I only wanted him to shake my hand if he had to make contact with me.
This I did… and I did write about this situation in a prior blog of mine. I did this after I was standing in a bank line …and the guy seeing me stepped into the bank, and then commenced to plant a kiss on the back of my neck.
Are you kidding me???????
At first it did not hit me… but when it did I was livid.
How dare that man sneak up behind me and kiss me on my neck …like he and I had something going on. Nothing could be further from the truth… but anybody witnessing that would have believed otherwise. The Bible tells us that we have to forsake even the illusion of un-holiness.
So, the very next time I saw the guy… here he came again reaching for me… and I stopped him. And I told him ‘no’ …and I broke it down for him believing I had settled that matter. And I had.
But it seems that he has totally forgotten that conversation these days.
If somebody told me that something I was doing made them uncomfortable… I would cease to do it. I respect other people’s space. But it seems that many people do not. And 
when it comes to men and women… men lack a lot of understanding. We don’t like just any ol’ body grabbing a hold of us… or kissing us.
And why should we?
Why does a woman have to tell you ‘no’ regarding anything pertaining to her?
It would seem that a man’s respect of women would automatically give way to the respect of her space.
But it does not. They clearly do not think like us.
Men feel that they can do to women whatever they want.
I do not feel it flattering to have some funky man grab a hold of me.
Nor do I just want everybody in this world to come and just freely lay a kiss on me.
Which is something that just happened to me only a couple of hours ago. Another person I wish would just stop.
With all the various disases going around… all kinds of things on people’s lips… tongues and mouth. No, I don’t want people coming up and kissing on me. And 
particularly people I certainly do not know… or hardly know… and plan on keeping that way.
Having worked for years with men… I am simply not tolerant of a lot of things now. Like I don’t want anybody calling me ‘baby.’ I listened to them calling each other ‘man’ and referring to each other by their names… but when it came to me… is was ‘honey.’
I was not anybody’s ‘honey.’ I had a name… and that name was just fine with me. My parents gave it to me… and called me by it all their lives.
So, why not everybody else?
But it was a way of degrading me… minimizing me. And it is a thing which men love to do to women in the work force.
They like keeping us in ‘our place.’
Herman Cain… it was clear to me even when I first heard him speak …that he was the kind of man I would have never liked working for. He sounded arrogant… puffed up… and filled with himself. Narcissistic in every possible way.
Which would account for why he would believe …knowing his history with women… and how many women who had filed charges against him… why he would think that such a man with ‘that kind’ of a history …as his would be qualified to run, and be sucessful in a bid for the Presidency of this country.
Yes, that would explain why.
I only say 1 thing… Bill Clinton.
And maybe you might say… John Kennedy too.
Okay, I’ll give you that. We could include the Senate and Congress too. And while we are going at it… let us not stop there… but include Governors and other elected officials… police officers… company heads etc… And we could go on forever… and thi
s list does not exclude 
women. Because there have been a few.
Moral standards are not what they used to be… nor are they required it seems. Why would you quiz and question canidates for certain Cabinet offices in this country… and just allow people with obvious character fawls run for the highest office of this country?
Or any office?
Or run any school?
Or head up any church?
What are we thinking?
How could we be so caught up with people that we are willing to just lay aside certain obvious faults in their moral nature?
As much as I used to feel that I liked Bill Clinton back in the day… that’s slang for when he was President… and/or running for President… the truth of matter is this. The man had issues.
Herman Cain had and has issues. And his were bigger than Clinton’s. Because the man dotted upon himself so much… and saw no wrong in ‘him.’
What an egomaniac?
And lets not negate Herman’s propensity for lying.

Forget ’999′… it would have been more like ’666′ if Herman got in.
Now, going back to the game plan. The plan was to chump up Cain to run against Obama. Thereby pitting 2 black men against each other… which ‘they’ felt would split the black vote. This in turn would allow… ‘their’ real guy… an outside canidate to ease into a win, and take the White House.
That was the political game plan of some key Republicans. It was the way that they were hoping would guarantee a win for them and their party.
Do we really look that DUMB????
We are really not the dumber race. Believe that if you believe nothing else.
Because ‘you’ had to know that was a game the Republicans was playing …by pretending Herman Cain was so popular among Republicans.
Who were they kidding?
Most Republicans hate Obama. And they hate him for the most part for no other 
reason than the fact that he is a black man.
And how dare he be black …and smart too.
Everything that Obama has tried to do the Republican Party has blocked. Any bill or intitative to get American moving and back on track they have hindered. Even down to refusing federal funds to begin rebuilting America’s infrastructure. All for the pleasure of claiming that Obama is a failure.
But Obama is not a failure. Failure is something which is not in Obama’s vocabulary. Nor does he believe in quitting because it appears that the deck is stacked against him. And do note the word ‘appears.’
I have come to know that oftentimes it not what it ‘appears’ to be… that is what actually is. That’s why I do not follow polls. Learned in my statistics class… No, it was in 1 of my poli-Sci classes on research… that taught me ‘it is how you phrase the question‘… to get the answer that you want. Pollsters are paid by interest groups… parties that want to slant whatever their interest is… in their favor by misleading people on a bunch of supposed facts that many times are not true and are meaningless.
So, the polls that showed Cain to be a favorite…
How in the world could you have believed that?
No, way in the world were the Republicans going to put any black man into the White House. And never 2 black Presidents… back to back?
They would have all curled up and died first.
So, that whole thing about Herman Cain was a myth. They were never going to let him in the White House. Not unless he was going in delivering some pizza.
Must say though that it is a shame when men in power be they white or black… or any nationality… sit in power, and chose to abuse the power vested in them. By proving 
themselves less than moral. They have no character. Cain clearly is a man without character.
If they choose not to say anything else about Obama… at least his character is certainly not an issue. And his desire to uphold the values of his office, and that as a husband and family man are sure and true.

MURDERING WOMEN STEALING BABIES…LIVING THE BIG LIFE ON the POLITICAL SCENE…
It is baffling to me the times we now live in… and just how we happened to get here????
They are… the times we are now living in… they are strange and seem so foreign to me. The sickness of the crimes… the extreme insanity… and cruelity that seems to be abounding in these times.
Who ever before ever heard of women ripping unborn babies out the bellies of pregnant women for the purpose of stealing their children?
To read story… after story… Well, to find headline after headline of such is frightening to me. Not frightening in that I am afraid it will happen to me… because I am not pregnant. And doubt that I will be ever again.
But frightening in that such things are happening to anyone.

But how insane can you get to prepetrate such a cruel act upon another woman?

I have not particularly cared for a lot of people. Well, not so many as that. It is really not my nature to distain people. And certainly if for some reason I should… to let it mount up in me turning into some kind of twisted wackco thang. No. I think not. I have neither the time or energy… to linger there in those kinds of deep and dark places in my mind. I am much too busy.
But for those where perhaps I might have found some kind of fault in… I have never thought about taking out or enacting any type of criminal act against them. Though I must admit to picking up a baseball bat or 2… Okay, maybe 3 or 4… Oh, alright… maybe 5 or 6 times… just to get my thought through …or to go after somebody. But that was all before I became
saved. And never without due cause.
But I have never looked upon any woman… pregnant or otherwise …and wished that I was her… or that I had her baby. And then came up with a plan to replace her… or to steal her unborn… or born child. But people have. Some people have.
They truly and really have.
People try to pretend to be other people… and all kinds of craziness.
There was this guy in New York City who killed an elderly man, so that he could take his apartment and live in it. He also was living off the man’s social socurity… until they caught up with him.
But it goes beyond being sick… or insane… or being just plain crazy.
How dumb is it that you would get a knief, overcome some woman, and turn yourself into some kind of surgeon… cutting open her belly, remove the unborn child…and leave the woman bleeding to death?
While these predators go around for the most part pretending to have given birth to the infant… if it survives… that they had illegally taken…while committing murder in order to obtain it.
Who would do this kind of thing???????

Though clearly they all look like fruit cakes… and perhaps I should not slander fruit cakes in such a way. Because I used to kind of like them.

And they are women of all colors, types, body sizes, come from different states, countries etc… etc… etc… And now they vary in ages as well. A 14 and 13 years did the exact same thing.
They take the baby from the belly of another woman in order to pretend that they had given birth to the baby. A baby that they either lost some how by mis-carriage or whatever. Or they never were pregnant with in the first place. So, they took the infant from the mother’s womb… so they could- Now, get this… let me say this slowly…
So they could pretend to some man that it was his baby.
I cannot go any further with this.
Because if the truth be told there are some things which I just do not have any patience with. There are times that I think tax-payer’s money should not be wasted on. There are lots of ways tax-payers would be better served by the tax dollars taken out of each and every pay check, then by paying for cases like these that really do not warrant trials.
I know… I know…it would open the door to many of us being locked away for no cause at all. Because the system itself needs correction. BUT…
When you think about the economy… about the millions upon millions upon millions of people out of work… who 
could use another extension to their unemployment benefits …or whatever have you. There are plenty of places where money could go that would really serve some type of legitimate societal interest. But not the paying of lawyers and court costs for people like these women, in these cases cutting up women to steal unborn infants from their mother’s womb.
Why bother?
What would be their defense?
What defense could they have?
“I was crazy.”
We do not need to waste valuble court time to hear that.
And we have not even began to talk about the health issues that may surround the infants… or the lives and outcome of the murdered women’s other children, and family members if she had any.
Perhaps, it doesn’t sound Christian like to you… and I am a Christian. 
I love the Lord… and He loves me. But in Biblical text we are informed to not lust after our neighbors possessions… it is called coveteness. Or to not envy them…that is coveteness too… and to do right by all men. And that ”thou shalt not kill.” Or “steal.”
So, I do not advocate killing such people… but I do believe they should be locked away. And kept away forever.
Perhaps, you feel differently. But the acts in the stories listed above were senseless, hateful acts enacted upon peo
ple who were probably very unsuspecting… and very very innocent victims.
When I went up to read a story on 1 woman cutting a woman and stealing her infant, I in my wildest imagination never expected to see a listing of stories…one after another of simular acts.
I recall when I read the first story of this nature. It was some maybe 6 or 7 years ago.
The story centered around 2 women who had met over the internet… Craiglist or myspace ….or something like it.
One of the women was pregnant and the other woman befriended her. Over a period of time as their friendship grew… I guess… the pregnant woman gave the other woman her address. Whereupon near the time of pregnant woman’s delivery date for the birth of her child, the other woman went to whatever state where the pregnant woman lived and performed surgery upon the pregnant woman, killing her and removing the unborn infant from her body.

That was the very first time I had ever heard of that kind of story. So, it was a shock for me to find story after story after story… of women in various states all having done the same exact thing since that initial story.
This copy-cat thing is ridiculous. And the only way to deal with such things is to deal harshly with people 
who commit them.
But because the mind of people today is so warped the news sources should not divulge so much information about certain kinds of heinous crimes.
Also, I was grossly turned off by that reality show that showed doctors actually performing surgeries. Don’t know whether or not it still comes on… but is the need?
Who really needs to watch shows like that?
Or do our children really need video games that depict people realistically being blown apart, or shot to death, or cut up etc… etc…?
What are we developing here?????
One can clearly state that there is little reason for why the times are as they are today. Truly. There are a bunch of heartness conscienceless people walking around today. And we have only ourselves to blame… because of what we allow either in our homes via the television …or via our children’s video games… or in the movies on the big screen… or in the magazines… or whatever else and wherever else people consume negative images whether it be through music, or music videos, as well… we allow it.
It is amazing to me the things that people will get up and go marching against… such as same sex-marriages. Something which may never affect them, their family or anyone that they know. But they will picket against it…. vote against any politican remotely in favor of it, they will form rallies and bus trips to go to capitol statehouses. But they say nothing about what is allowed to strem into their homes, on their radios… through out their movies or even from page to page of the magazines put out form our consumption.
Whether Bobby marries Bobby or not is not anything that really deal with any of us personally. But the impact of what comes across the airwaves of our televisions and radios… and what is printed in our books and magazines, and movies does. And it can be harmful… hurtful… and can produce and inspire all kinds of criminal and violent acts.
But we say nothing.
We said nothing to the 10 Commanments being removed from Courtroom halls and buildings. We said nothing really about prayer being removed from schools… or the conversation of removing ‘In God we trust’ off of our currency.
When will we say something to something that really counts, is the 
question?
When will we ceased to be tossed to and fro with every whim like mindless and blind puppets?
There are a lot of things that should be challenged… and that serve no useful social purpose. Such as television shows that show people actually getting cut up during surgeries. And then we wonder why there suddenly is a rash of people out there using surgerical techniques while perpetrating various crimes.
It seems that there are those who have been voted into political office who think not about those whom they vowed to represent… but entered into the arena of politics so that they could establish some kind of name for themselves.
They consider not the needs of those whom they are vowed to serve and 
represent… whether or not they voted them in or not.
When 1 goes into political office it not for a chosen few… but for the masses of which they are said to be over their district… ward or whatever have you.
That being said…

Politics. That is the reason why.
There is no good reason behind hindering a bill that would put people to work rebuilding the infrastructure of this country. Clearly, it is a plan that could not fail… because bascially it calls for a lot of manual labor. As opposed to a bunch of computers or robots doing the work.

In a vote of 50 to 49 Obama’s Job Bill was defeated in the U.S. Senate. Every single Republican 
voted against the bill… inclusive of 2 turn-coat Democrats, Ben Nelson, Nebraska, and Jon Tester, Montana. The Jobs Bill needed 60 Senators to vote in favor of it in order for it to pass… to begin the process of putting thousands of Americans back onto the work rolls again.
There are people who do a lot of clicking and clacking… mostly because they want attention. Almost all of the Tea Party people can be classified as clickers and clackers. They only want some 
attention. Perhaps, they even have visions of themselves rising up out of the ranks to become some kind of major political player… or the next Barack Obama. Though they would never say that.
But they click and clack… posture… and pose… and never do anything for anyone. Because they can’t see beyond their own nose and selfish political goals.
The Jobs Bill needed to be passed. Not for the sake of Washington… but for the sake of the millions who have been out work …and can’t seem to find any solutions to their non-working dilemmas. They have been looking… but there is nothing out there. 
Wouldn’t any bill that created any amount of substantials jobs been better than nothing?
To the people without 1 it would. But to a bunch of politicans who already have it made in the shade… quasi professions …politicans made up of lawyers… and now some doctors and businessmen… what do they have to worry about?
Their families are fed. Their bills are all being paid. They don’t have to worry about adequate health care… and they’veall got a job… supposedly representing you and me.
Every which way President Barack Obama has tried to re-boot this economy… and to get it in gear and restart it… along comes a bunch of Republican Politicans who would rather sabotage the President… rather than aid in helping America out of a dilemma that a former President… a Republican like themselves… put us al
l in.
A man who was a known and proven liar… yet nobody ever called him ‘liar.’ Yet, that word has been thrown at President Obama by so many Republicans… it makes you wonder what planet were they on while George W. Bush was sitting in the White House as President of the United States?

Girl 12… babies having something…
I don’t know maybe I have been sleeping with my head buried under a rock or something. Or maybe I am just old fashion…or maybe it is just that I think that any child 12 and under should not be pregnant …or much less
giving birth.
There has got to be something that I am missing.
Could it be that I am just out dated?
I am out of touch?
Has life just passed me by?
What happened to the laws that prohibited such a thing?
What happened to moral outrage?
What happened to protecting children from those who prey upon them…even those within their own age rage… and/or within their own families?
Something is wrong. And I cannot be the only 1 who can see this.
Have we slipped so far away that we no longer care about moral values… proper 
protocol… and what is happening amongst our children?
Have we gotten so caught up in gay rights… same-sex marriages… illegal immigrants …escalating gas prices …mounting foreclosures …lack of jobs …lack of sufficient health care… etc… etc.. etc… that we are missing everything else?
Can you honestly sit there and believe that there is nothing wrong with an eleven year old girl… or 10-year-old girl having sex?
And conceiving and bring forth babies?
Why would people get on buses and venture to state capitols to protest same-sex marriages… and barely raise an eyebrow over 10-year-old …and 11-year-old children being taking advantage of sexually?
Why would protesters parade outside abortion clinics chanting and demonstrating against abortions… and shrug off news of young girls making a pact to get pregnant?
Or toss aside the headline that said-
“12-year-old gave birth.”
Perhaps there is something wrong with me. Maybe I have lost focus. Maybe even my mind. Maybe I don’t know what is or is not really important any more. But it does seem to me that 9, 10, 11, 12 year old girls having sex and conceiving babies… is absolutely wrong. And every offender who would cross those lines should be held to the highest letter of the law… and shown no mercy.

Racists and bigots… hunting to destroy Obama…
There is clearly a plot to undermind the union known as the United States of America. And it is coming in the force of an entity known as the Republican party… Republican governors, senators, congressmen, mayors, business men and women… and media expoundants etc.
Though these people would be quick to say that they are not racists. Yet, their whole campaign and assult against Obama stems out of nothing more than out and out racism.
In Wisconsin the Governor is trying to rid the state of unions by going out after public employees…by weakening their ability to go to the bargaining table to negotiate their pay and other needs. This attack is nothing more than backlash at 
unions…blue collar workers… for their large support of the Democratic Party. And for being a mighty force that came together, as well as other groups, in aiding Obama to take the White House.
It is not that they… these Republicans cannot see that Obama is working to get America out from under the Bush mess. No, this they can clearly see… though they say otherwise… and desire to create an atmoshere of belief that he is not. It is their master plan. For Obama’s labors is just ‘what’ they fear.
Here it is… these political bigots are willing to block every initiative posed by Obama in order to 
make America a better and healthier place in the wake of that idiot George W. Bush…yet they want to block them. Not just 1 of them… but all of them. They desire to tear them apart… deflat them and try to defeat them. While they sit around trying to terrorize people about Obama’s initiatives… namely his direction and bills.
Imagine Republican governors setting up blockaides by stopping to take federal dollars that Obama has allocated to their states in order to bring the United States into the 21st Century. Monies set up to make our intrastructure better, more modernized and highly inproved. Such as high speed railroads.
Now, what could be wrong with that?
Nothing. But its a black man trying to do it. If Bush has sat around trying t
o do good instead of evil… and came up with the idea of updating our rail system… like Reagan came up with Star Wars. Wonder what happened to that… It was a ridiculous idea for one thing… but all those Republicans loved it. They stood up and applauded it… and supported that dumb idea.
Why do I say it was a dumb idea?
Because we know very little about space. And we have yet to conquer everythings here on earth first.

o, why would we spend billions of dollars trying to race our way to overtaking space?
Much of the seas right here on earth have yet to be seen. Not to mention some months ago I read where they discovered some unknown tribe of people in South America. People who had never ever been introduced to the outside world. As they had never gone beyond the confines of the area they lived in. But those Republicans loved Reagan’s idea to spend all that money on something which today proves to have been nothing more than a waste of time.
Yet, there are Republican governors who are refusing to accept federal funds right now… based merely out of their own selfish desires to keep a black man from being effective and successful in his job as President of the United States.
And whether you care to believe it or not… this is the absolute… sole truth about the matter.
As dumb and as destructive as George Bush was for and to this country there was never 1 revolt or attack set up against him by any political group in this country. Nor did anybody every stand up or while sitting down ever yell out-
“Liar,” to him.
Bush was a man who brought this country nearly to its knees. Brought us into a senseless war… was the cause why our gas prices… food costs… medical needs… and every other expenditure in this country has escalated beyond our imaginations. Prices that people in forgeign countries had become used to… but never ever us.
And not 1 governor turned down anything from him… or came up in opposition against him as these dirty double-dealing Republicans have decided to now come up against Barack Obama.

How dare these men… and perhaps some women of the Republican Party decided that their racist attitudes mean more to them than the well-being of America.
How dare these voted into office individuals… decide that they will not stop at 
doing anything they can do in their vain little efforts to hold back the tide called… Barack Obama.
Have they not heard that what God has done let no man put assunder?
Their opposition comes not because Obama is a bad President. Or because Obama is a liar… unlike the last guy that held the office of President of the United States… and an out and out liar he was… and not 1 Republican came out against him. Nor are they raising up against Obama for any other reason than that they are a bunch of bigots.
People who are trying to deceive their consituents by lying. Telling their constituents that their opposition is against Obama because they don’t believe in the direction that he is taking America.
Here it is Obama has managed to begin the great American comeback after George Bush brought us into the worst financial period in American history… just shy… and I do mean just shy of the Great Depression… and the history books may come to say ‘the worst’ 1 day… if the truth really be told.
But thank God that before Bush could take us all the way down… the election period came up. And the timing could not have come quick enough to boot that crook out of the White House.
Now, here in Bush’s wake… Obama is starting to turn back the tide… and then here comes those dirty little Republican Party politicans.
Jobs are coming back and the economy is on the rise… And my… how they hate that.
There is now light shinning through at the end of the deep dark tunnel that the Bush Administration and the Republican Party sanked us into. And they want to block out that light.
Because it is the doing of a non-Republican… and especially… Oh, no… not a black
man!
We can’t allow him. If he does this… if he is successful you know what this will mean. We will be saddled by an onslaught of other black Presidents. They will prove that they are not stupid. And that they can manage things… and make decisions.
They will take over America.
It sounds like all that old southern rhetoric expounded by southern plantation owners opposing slavery. Proclaiming all kinds of stupid stuff… like their women would not be safe. Their children would not be safe. That their way of life… peacefulness… and everything else would be destoryed.
And so, the slaves were finally freed due to a war betweeen the then Union States… the South verus the North… the Civil War. Yes, it was not without struggle… or strife. Not 
without loss of lives. Yet, black people came up from slavery working and striving to destory the old stereotypes and ngative images propagateded by hate. And was meant as a means of keeping us down. 
Years of watching us on television and in news segments as being a people 
who were lesser than… lost people… and a people who could not get it right.
There is little wonder that throughout our history in this country… the most successful black people in this country were those in the entertainment business. And particularly those in the earlier years that managed to cross the color barriers, becoming popular among white audiences. They were those kind of black folks who didn’t mind being laughed at… and keeping those old stereotypes alive.
Jessters who made their money acting the way white people believed… or rather liked seeing us act… in ways demeaning to us as people. And they (those entertainers) did not mind selling us out …much like some of these little rappers and singers …and some comedians of today.
So, in walks a man name Barack Obama… and he comes in with a Michelle 
Obama… with little Malia and Sasha… and grandma. And they broke up tha
t stereotype, along with such talents as Diahann Carroll, who became TV’s Julia… and others.
No, they exploded it… those Obama’s. And hopefully never to come back again.
Years of lies hit the wall when the Obama’s hit the scene. Years of lies like… black men don’t do anything but beat their women.
Lies like… black men don’t take care of their children.
Lies like… their families don’t look like ours.
Like like… black folks are not smart. They can’t learn…and that they can never do nothing right.
I am going to end this here. Because I am getting mad.
Mad about what white racist people are trying to do against the man who is in the White House right now… who is trying to make this country better. And because he ‘is’ black they don’t want to see him do it.
And they were willing to tear apart this country… and bring us all… all the way
back to where Lincoln freed the slaves. And to reinstate a deep wedge pitted in the heart of America to do it.
And these Republicans are set to bring that wedge back… no matter what it takes. Because they desire to see the black man fail.
But the devil is a liar.
Do they not know that the more they try to do against Obama the greater God is going to make him?
He shall be successful. Because I understand how God operates. He loves oppposition. And the greater the opposition the greater God can show His hand.
Obama being where he is… is not of his doing. But of the will of God.
So, come on you bigots… you racists. Come on… come on.
This is of God’s doing.
It is very intersting… and especially that since this group of Republican governors meeting to discuss their efforts to attempt to block the success of Obama by refusing to accept goverment funds and blocking his health care bill from taing effect in their states… during this 
time… BLACK HISTORY MONTH.
Got up to about 2 inches more of snow this morning. So, yes… I had to get up and get out to shovel. But it was lite and not much. So, I didn’t even break a sweat. And didn’t sweat out my hair this time either.
I just got my hair done yesterday. And as I sweat in my head… 
shoveling is not the best thing for a freshly done hair-do.
Oh, well… Got to do what a girl has got to do…

What is the question here…
What is responsibility?
When somebody espouses a whole lot of trash talking in the ghetto…
Well, they just better be able to back it up or say nothing.
That is how it is in the hood.
Now, I have never lived in the streets or out on the lane …or down on the Blvd. But I do know that when you fool around and talk a lot of junk you better be ready to back it up… or suffer the consequences.
During the pre-term elections recently held this past November… Sara Palin did a whole lot of big 
talking… before and after. Even as far as pasting up a bunch of cross-hairs upon certain campaign areas that she and her supposed ‘tea party’ crew… or group of flunkies… were aiming to take over.
This past weekend in 1 of those areas … a congresswoman was shot in the head and 6 others were killed in an area that Palin singled out on her cross-hairs map.
That sounds like a whole of lot of big time talk. The which if it had been done in the hood it would have meant all out and out war. Because it would have certainly meant that you were out to get somebody.
And it would have meant that you were gunning for them. And in hood talk… that means to kill ‘em.
You don’t go around drawing pictures like that in the hood… and nobody knows what it means?
No, that is a loud and crystal clear message… ask any black folks.
Frankly, such a thing should be as illegal as shouting “FIRE” in crowded place.
I do not think that it is a coincidence that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, a Arizona State 
Representative, and liberal political was shot in the head some 2 days ago.
Nor do I believe that the shooting was some ramdom act of some dissatisfied Arizonan voter.
No, I think that the picture is a lot bigger than that.
It is a picture of hate mongering and fear embedding that became very popular under the Bush administration. Something that the Republicans have become very famous …or should I say… infamous for doing. Then turning around and crying that they ‘had nothing to do with it.’
But the tactics are theirs. And they pull them out whenever a political race is hot… meaning close… and when they wish to get an upper hand.
So, they set about evoking weak-minded people to do tragic things like shooting an innocent woman in the head, who was working hard to the benefit of the people which she represents.
And, yes.
Sarah Palin is to blame along with those who coach her. And they need to go up on charges of conspiracy. For acting to incite individuals to go out and commit murder or other type of criminal acts against politicians that they are against.
If a person worked in an insane asylum and gathered up the interest of a resident in that asylum provoking that person to hate someone enough to hurt or even kill them. And the insane asylum 
person upon his release goes in search of the person they had been provoked against… and somehow hurts or otherwise kills the person… who would be to blame?
Clearly, the person who provoked the insane person to do so.
And the law would seek that person out.
So, why should Sara Palin and her people be any different?
This world is full of a lot of sick and/or weak-minded individuals who listen and believe a lot of the political rhetoric that they hear… watch or read. A lot of it is devicely twisted to anger people falsely. And in cases such as in the Palin camp… they work to 
implant seeds of violent acts.
And anyone who does this is looking for a violent outcome.
Why else would anyone put up gun cross-hairs if they were not insinuating that someone should go out and shot somebody that they have set their sights upon?
That is the only reason why someone would do that.
And to do so is illegal.
And is certainly not a joke.
Lets say the shoe was on the other foot… and the congresswoman and launch a website and put 
up a map with gun cross-hairs on it. And in the center of those cross-hairs was Palin and her family.
What do you think would have been Palin’s out-cry?
Would there have been one?
Yes. You bet… and a loud one. And Palin would have been seeking some type of action. Maybe even legal I have no doubt.
The Republicans love double standards. They can play certain games… but not you.
You can’t… because they are quick to cry ‘foul.’

If a group of cons or crooks…. or drug cartel…. or thugs had mastermind such a thing without a doubt they would have all been rounded up by now and charged.
Is this not the same thing when a drug dealer puts a gun into the hand of little child 12 or 13 -year-old, and tells them to go out and shoot somebody?
They know that the little 12 or 13-year-old is a kid, and not likely to serve a sentence as long as theirs would be, if they went out and perpetrated the crime themselves.
What is the difference between using weak-minded people that do what some of these politicians tell them to do via their commercials and other rhetoric used to poison the minds of such people, in order to have them go out and do their dirty work?
I am for justice and totally against people who would ever try to incinerate anyone against somebody simply because we do not agree politically… or religiously. Or for any reason really.
In the 1980′s when the anti-abortion acted in similar ways… the outcome was abortion clinics being bombed, and abortion doctors were killed.
How crazy was that?
You don’t believe in abortion but you blow up people in an abortion clinic?
Or go out shooting abortion doctors?
What kind of life did they believe in?
Only that of the fetus… and not that of the adult people they were killing?
Is life not life?
Are we all to agree on every subject?
Just how boring would life be if we all submitted ourselves out of fear to being liked minded because someone was holding a gun over us.
There is a sickness that prevails and is festering, least ways in this country, that makes 1 re-consider George Orwell’s book. And perhaps we need not look at Big Brother as a government system… but as a political party. The Republican Party.
Well, this is my first post for the New Year.
I was so busy prior to stepping into this New Year that I literally barely got any sleep for almost 8 days. A whole lot of legal work to take care of.
First of all, the city had come up against my parent’s house for property taxes. And I had to act really quickly in order to try to head it off.
So, that is still in the works. Hopefully, we will get a court date and God will give the Judge to be kind.
Then there some other legal matters that I wanted to have out of hair before stepping into 2011… and finally I did manage to do that too.
So, you see I wasn’t just goofing off.
And I had to go out to shovel snow 2 times this past weekend. But thank goodness it was neither heavy or a lot of snow.
So, all is well.
And I am wishing you a great and highly prosperous year.
And thank goodness God is still on throne.

Eva Longoria headed for divorce… North Korea milliary strike… Palin’s reality…
It never fails to amaze me just how stupid some men can sometimes be.
What was wrong with Tony Parker that he just could not be true to one of most beautiful women in Hollywood?
Clearly, Eva Longoria loved him. And he appeared to be happy with her.

I recall that when the rumors surfaced regarding his bachelor party and some ‘woman of
the night.’ Eva quickly dismissed it. She totally declared it to be false and denounced anyone who dared to even claim such a thing about her then husband to be.
And why not?
Aren’t you suppose to trust the person who your are going to partner yourself to for the rest of your life?
But it would seem that Tony has proven those rumors …and all tho stories to be true.
And he looked so innocent. Perhaps, too innocent.
What is it about men that when they have a good woman… a loving and caring mate… that they fail to be able to be true to her.
You often hear men… and many women as well… often belly aching about how they cannot seem to find the right person… a good person… a decent person… a hard working man… or a loving and caring woman. Yet, when presentedd with 1 they fail to be able to appreciate him… or her.
I remember Donald Trump and his parting from Ivana. Just about everybody on 
this planet thought he was crazy. Even Marla probably had to laugh about that… as she took the Donald to the bank.
Then there was Rick somebody or other… Oh, yeah… Rick Fox and Vanessa Williams. What a jerk he must have been. Who in his right mind would ever want to be kicked to the curb by Vanessa.
But some of these guys are just to pretty. But then when they lose out on what they had… and find themselves out in the cold reflecting on their errors… it is always too late.
Grow up gentlemen and ladies… learn to appreciate and respect what you have already while you yet have it.
I have had at least 2 men cry in my presence while telling me about their wives. The wife they cheated on… took for granted… could have cared less about… until she was no more. She passed.
As I listen to 1 of them tell me how his wife had been his best friend… his childhood sweetheart… and how he cheated on her so many times… I could not help but think as tears rolled down his face-
“Why is it that you can always see a good thing when it is gone?”
All chances of showing her… or rectifying the situation had been removed. She was dead. Gone forever…and now he didn’t want anybody else. He had stopped with all the other women. All when it didn’t matter… because she was gone.
How sad can that be?
But it happens day in and day out. Some people have everything that anybody could ever want… and they just do not appreciate it.
Truly sad.

In my Just War’s class this would be called an act of ‘aggression.’
In Political Science there are a couple of ways that ‘aggression’ can be allowed and/or tolerated by the national community. One is for the reason of an ‘assumed threat’ by another nation-state. Or 2 for a reason where 1 country believes that there is real and eminent threat of being struck first.

Because of nuclear weapons small Nation States no longer fear hegemon states… large powerful nations such as the United States or Great Britain… or Russia any more. The power that hegemon states once wheeled has long fallen by the wayside. The ability to create and use nuclear weapons has become the great equalizer. And now small nation states such as North Korea, Iran, Pakistan etc… now feel their muscles beginning to bulge beneath their shirts. And are anxious to have their voices heard around the world on the world stage.

Yes, we have to side with our allies. And it is in our best interest to do so.
But when acts of aggression occur do not our allies likewise have an obligation to stand with us?
Today there is only 1 real super power left in this world… and that is the United States. But with soaring illegal immigration around the world… drug wars… rogue states… religious fanatics… and even some very unstable people running some foreign governments… it would seem that other like-minded nations have no choice but to stand with us. There is just too much going on in the world 
today… for any nation which is an allie of the United States to just sit back.
The ills that face this world take an united effort to quail and try to lay to rest. And that is the force that will overcome rogue nations… religious fanatics and zealots from destroying the world… unity.
Palin’s real world reality is…is that nobody really wants to watch her or her family on television. She is just not that exciting … or intriguing. And the show may hit the dust before its 8 week 
contract is up.
When the idea for this show was pitched… every thumb in the room should have been turned down towards the table. That is what TV exec’s should have done… tabled it before it got out of the box. But now after the dim ratings i just 2 episodes… they soon will.

Well, we are now almost just 1 day away from Thanksgiving. This afternoon I made 8 apple pies. I have to make at least 2 more tomorrow…and then put a few sweet potato 
pies into the oven too.
I had bought the peaches for peach cobbler but decided to hold off on that until Christmas.
I do not know about you… but I can’t get to the table quick enough or to that turkey.
Tomorrow, I have to pick up the video camera equipment because I have decided that I wanted to video tape us all together. This year we came awfully close to having lost 1 of my sisters. She suffered a heart attack.
She is doing just fine now… but during the course of the week she was in the hospital all I wanted to do was pray. And is all I did really.
God heard our prayers.
Hope that He has heard yours too. Through the course of a year many situations come up. It is good to be able to depend upon the Lord.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving… I know we shall enjoy ours.

Some of what you may be waiting on…
You have been reading my writings… Well, some of them. You may have even watched my book trailer for my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE.
Now, and I want to show you something that I started yesterday. It is the radio spot for my book. I added some visual material just so I could launch it over youtube…and you would have something to watch.
But if you have been wondering about me… I mean my voice. What I may or may not sound like.
I mean I would be curious about you… if I read some of your work. Most people flip over a book just to take a look at what the author looks like. And I have given you that chance in my actual book trailer, which I hav
e also included in this blog.
But I am so excited about my radio spot. Tell me what you think. And it is me speaking… but then I have told you that by profession I am a radio announcer.
And if you think my radio spot is something… which thanks to a software call ‘Motion’… it really looks greater than I could have imagined. Then ‘Final Cut’…was the software I used to put it all together. And the rest is… Well, you tell me…

I just finished reading this story. There are things that touch me…and things that make me mad. This story did both.
This is the kind of case you wished Johnny Cochran was still around for.
How in the world could the LA police arrest a young woman mentally challenged, hold her for a few days then release her without her pocketbook, money, or any way to get home. And seeing that the young woman was obviously distressed in some way.
How could they have done that to her?
It was a scenario set for doom.
If they had set it up the LA police could not have done a better job in aiding in the murder of this young woman. The moment this young woman was released the chances of her making it home safely without something happening…in LA?
It was slim at the very best. And the worst part of it…. her loving and caring mother tried her best to keep anything from happening to her daughter.
I feel for this family.
My goodness…what a terrible story. I cannot imagine the hell or the evil that Matrice was thrown in or the fate that she had to endure. What a terrible story. No amount of money or law suit can compensate the injustice which was done here.
I restrain myself from speaking on the Fantasia story. To some degree I 
feel for her though.
There is something that I am so sure about.
“The devil desires to steal your life.”
And if you let him he will.
There was once a time when I thought about suicide. But thank God, He only let it be just a fleeing thought.
Matters of the heart can make people do foolish things.
But the one thing about life is this…
There is always tomorrow. And usually it is a much better day.

I just finished talking to friend of mine who reminded me that Fantasia is illiterate. It has been so long that I had forgotten it. How she told the story of how she had to learn the songs for American Idol by having to
have someone read her the words so that she could remember them.
Can you imagine that?
For her to do that… Fantasia in fact must be brilliant. And if she had learned to read and perhaps all those other basic things that we all pretty much take for granted… she might have well been further ahead today since having won American Idol a few years ago.
There is no doubt that education is essential for success. And true success cannot be had or maintained without it.
You know to know how to read, write, add and subtract. Without these basic skills all of us would find it difficult to survive.
Now with computers and with texting… who doesn’t need to know how to read or type… or write? And it doesn’t matter whether you can type with 1 finger or with all 10… but without being
familiar with the alphabet or without knowing how to read you would be lost… totally out of the loop.
Then she got caught up with a married man.
Then there was something about her a ‘sex tape.’
Could it be a need for some attention?
That is what my son says.
Or is it that Fantasia like some many other ‘so-called’ stars when they fall out of the glimmer of all the light… they reach out to do some desperate or stupid things just to get catapulted back into the spot light?
Attempting to commit suicide is illegal. But I hear that Fantasia is due to
release a new CD and sometime this week she begins making the rounds to various TV shows. Perhaps it was… just something to give her something to talk about while she sat down for those rounds of TV interviews. Or perhaps it was all for her to grab the attention of Oprah and others to add her to their guest lists in the wake of her ordeal… and increase CD sales.
Who knows…

First Michael… now Gary Coleman… Blanche… and the oil mess… Boycott BP
If seems that fame brings about a lot of problems that many of us would
really rather not have. But so many only see the glitz and the gleam of the big bright lights…and nothing else.
They clamor to be in the videos, on the cover of the magazines, on the big screen, sitting on the Oprah show… or on somebody’s reality show.
They want it… want it… or 15 minutes of it… if that is all they can get.
Some people have committed various acts… including murder… shooting up high schools …bombing buildings …etc… all in order to get their name in print and/or picture on TV.
Many have sought it… and many who found it have also turned and
tried to run from it. Because all that glitters is really not gold.
If many knew what that life was really like I doubt that they would pursue it. It is a life filled with lots of ups and downs. And plenty of its own uncertainties… and always lots of money and work woes.
There are some things in the video clip above that you should play close…very close attention to. First of all, is the lack of any real care or concern by the woman who claims to be Gary Coleman’s wife.
Second of all, when she finally does start talking to him…listen to how she speaks rather…barks at him like she is talking to a little misbehaving child instead of a bleeding and near dying husband.
Third of all, how she announced to the operator that her name is Shannon Price…and not Shannon Coleman.
And Fourth of all, how much more concerned about herself and what she can’t stand and what is going on with her… which seems to be of far more importance to her than a bleeding Gary Coleman.
Is it possible that Gary Coleman may have fallen prey to a person he should have chased back and away from him…instead of marrying her?
After several episodes of run-ins with fans who seem to have gotten too close to him, wher
e Coleman had been noted as being mean and evil towards them. And often it ended up with him punching 1 or 2 of them in the face.
Then how did he hook up with this woman?
Is it possible that she allowed Coleman to lay there bleeding until he was near death…and then decided to call 911 for emergency assistance for him?
Is it possible that she may have hit him or… somehow or other brought about brain hemorrhage that brought about his death?
Is it possible that she ever loved Gary Coleman at all?
Not if you go by what you hear during that 911 call.
Gary Coleman’s burial has been postponed… though the article said 
‘cancelled’ …hmmmm…
What does that mean?
At any rate Gary’s parents have sent their people to step into the picture between that woman and Gary…on their son’s behalf. I really feel for them.
I had always thought it sad when Gary went into court with his parents, who are really foster parents to him. But I guess the only parents he ever knew. And after it happened, I had always hoped that time would have healed that wound between them.
It does happen sometimes in families. In fact in many families it does 
happen. Most families experience some type of falling out one time or other. But then there are those families that go to grave not ever speaking again after whatever happened came between them.
Those family members who mature and/or come to know that ‘there is nothing like family,’ they learn to but aside differences in order to not to continue to tear the family apart. Many times it is hard but you have to do it ‘for the sake of the family.’ Otherwise, there will be tons of regrets on both sides years later… and usually well after it is too late.
I had to learn through the grace of God to put aside some things dealing 
with family issues in our family. The things that set us at each other, and all the name calling… finger pointing …can’t override the value of keeping the family together. You have to work at keeping the family together… because no amount of things or ill 
will or words can compensate for it…family.
Family is important.
Unfortunately, Gary Coleman may have elected to turn 
his back on the 2 people who may have well loved him the most… to run into the arms of people who filled him up with a bunch of ill advice and evil counsel.
On the other hand Dana Plato’s, the young girl on Diff’rent Stroks, foster mother struck me as being much 
like Patty Duke’s family and aunt, who saw her as being a gold mine. The same could 
be said about the father of the star of the movie ‘Home Alone,’ McCaulay Culkin.
It is sad imagining any child who has to endure a life among people who really do not love them… or who 
value more what the child can earn for ‘them.’ At 
some point I guess this is exactly what Gary began to feel… though I must say I never believed it about the people who called him ‘their 
son.’
Personally, I think there should be an autopsy done on Gary Coleman. Something just does not sound 
or smell right. It is kind of like how I still feel about Michael Jackson’s death.
I think it was murder.
And it would seem that he… Gary did still have some money. Look at what he was driving.
Michael Jackson was a young teen boy when people got in between
him and his family too. Over time and perhaps even out of some degree of necessity on both parts… their’s and his… they slowly came back together. Because at the end of the day…family is all you have when you get right down to it. All you have got to depend upon.
Perhaps, near the end of Gary’s life he realized that too.
Going through pictures of Gary Coleman, I can see that there were times when he wasn’t doing so well healthwise. I produced a documentary on dialysis a while ago. Before it I had n
ever heard the word dialysis before or even knew 
that there people who could not urinate on their own due to problems with their kidneys.
But I had an aunt who started needing dialysis treatments due to her diabetes. Through her I came to find out about the illness and how it ate away at those who had to depend upon it.
In this picture you see a darker Gary Coleman.
Well, that is one of the side effects of dialysis. Another is the obvious swelling of his face… and the ashy-ness of his skin tone. Do you notice how his eyes appear to almost be shut?
He does look sick doesn’t he?
With so many health issues due to his kidneys since being a young child and straight through his life… which also stunted his growth greatly… and other problems… it is not hard to see why Gary Coleman was as he
was. Though such adversity in the lives of others has caused them to not only raise above their circumstances…but to truly go for the stars in ways that Gary did not. They turn their circumstances around by working to benefit the lives of others. But it seems that Gary could not rally that kind of strength.
He seemed to be alone in the world… and the 1 person left for him to depend upon wouldn’t even help him in his final hour of need. What a tragedy…for him …and maybe even for us. As none us tried to help him either.

I will never forget watching her taking some award where she graciously stepped to the mic to said a few words to the teacher who 
told her that she would never make it as an actress. It is amazing the things we remember.
Of course like millions I too sat watching nights of Golden Girls. Who didn’t love ‘ma’ Estelle Getty…or Dorothy her larger than life daughter. And that ditizy Betty White… and that over-aged sex kitten Blanche.

I had a lover… someone I lived with for over 9 years who loved to watch television. She stayed in front of it. And Golden Girls was one of the shows in the evening she would tune in to.
So, of course, over time I became quite familiar 
with them all. The sassy Blanche, the dim-wit Rose and Ma… and Dorothy.
One by 1 they are slowly departing this place. First Estelle Getty, then Bea Arthur, and Rue McClanahan and leaving Betty White. All of them better known by their character names… Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia…the Golden Girls.
And then there was 1…
Betty is lively as ever…spunky… and I guess you can even say sassy at times too. She is hard at work on another series… and really hasn’t stopped working since her Golden Girls days.
Today there are reality shows… and shows about people trying to win a million dollars. It all became so boring to me that I stopped watching TV a while ago. And truthfully… I have not missed it. Besides, as an adult person my schedule is way too busy for me to be sitting down and watching television.
Didn’t intend to write so much. Now, I have a movie that I want to watch.

Update Saturday, June 5th: I awoke this morning having left my son’s laptop up on some 
news items on the oil spill in the Gulf. Listening to it… 1 news broadcast on the oil spill after another… the impact of the breath of this oil spill has finally really hit home to me.
The British people in the upper level of BP really were such big liars. 
They lied about everything… saying that they had it contained…that it was not going to hit the shores…and that it would not
impact the local environment. In the beginning that BP top guy was passing the buck of responsibility on to someone else… some other company… and that it was not their oil rig at fault. Their oil rig that had failed to have all the safety measures that by law they should have had in place. Yet other lies by BP.
Now, the oil slick has hit Florida and is on its way out
into the Atlantic Ocean if the clean up doesn’t speed up and can’t contain it any better than BP already has. It all makes me think about the Republican Convention during McCains’ run for the Presidency against Obama. Where they walked around with ton of signs and cries of-
“Drill, baby…drill,” could be heard all over that convention floor. The Republicans were excited about going out and digging more oil rigs… even stating that they would go into protected environmental areas to do so.
This is the video new items that awoke to. And believe it became crystal clear to me that what is going on in the Gulf of Mexico right now is surely going to impact us all.

It seems to me that we should all be boycotting BP gas stations. And it is
upsetting to me that this company is not even an American company.
How is it that a British oil company owns oil rigs in our own home waters… while we are seeking oil from foreign shores of countries such as those in the Middle East?
If we have oil right here in America then we should be producing it and 
controlling it for our own use. And particularly since these oil rigs are so dangerous and can impact us in such a way as this gushing BP oil rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
Yes, I am advocating that we all boycott BP…it is
time that they started feeling it in their pocketbook. Perhaps then BP might realize that they can’t come into America and treat Americans any kind of way…or endanger us without a hefty price.

Gary Coleman passing… Parenting and those who claim to know…
I have long held that most of the supposed authorities giving out information on how to treat, displine and handle your children…are really a bunch of people who do not know what they are talking about.
Now, today I happen to come across this article…which…
Well, it proves my point.
The above LINK to the article is written by a mother who states that she is a Professor at some big time university…where she and her husband taught. And I say ‘taught’…because he is now deceased, but she still teaches there…wherever it is.
Probably in New York…or at Yale…or some place. Some place like NYU…or Harvard…M.I.T. Or Georgetown…or Princeton. But I bet you it is somewhere on the East Coast. Somewhere near Greenwich… or out in the Hamptons.
And I tell you why.
In this woman’s article…this Professor… she states that she told her daughter that it was okay for her to drop out of school.
Yes, I did say that. This she plainly states in her article where she says that she told her daughter, who wanted to drop out of high school…that it was okay to do so. In fact in the article the woman states this….”school wasn’t working for her. So, I even encouraged her to drop out.”
The so-called ‘parenting expert’ also states in her article that she is the author of numerous books on parenting.
Now, do you get my point?
For some years now these so-called ‘parenting experts’ have been telling this country how to care, chastize, woo and cuddle their child. Most of them mind you have never even had a child yet they sit around articulating on various talk shows, 
radio programs and in new articles how ‘we’…real parents should care for our children, and their discipline.
They are the ones responsible for why laws were written about what types of discipline are and are not allowable or acceptable. Laws which have given way to some of the most unruly children to walk the face of this earth. Many have no matters…and some even lack basic unbringing.
I am not, however, critiquing or criticizing all children or teens…or anyone outside of this mother who happens to claim that she is an expert in this matter. Clearly something is wrong with the picture of ‘child/parent relationships’ today. And this corrupted picture basically has stemmed from a lot of very bad advice 
from a bunch of people running around who nothing about children. And neither do most of them had any children of their own…or like this woman who wrote the above article…they failed to be able to control their own children.
So, they give in to them…and up on them.
What parent in their right mind is going tell their child in these days and times…or in past times that its okay to drop out of high school?
No one. None of them did. Though in past times many children did not have the leisure of pursuing a full education based upon family demands. But these days have changed and so has the criteria to be capable and compedent to be a part of today’s work force. It has grown and gotten much higher. You need more education today…more than ever before. And particularly if you want what is called a good job…and higher pay.
Evidently, this woman is either very rich… or she has heavily insured her 
daughter and plans for some type of accident. Because either that or she must be planning on taking care of her daughter some how for the rest of her life. Because without a college education…and many times above… her daughter’s life is going to become very hard.
Anyone who does not have an appropriate education today is as good as doomed. There is no about it…or buts about it. Everybody can’t go to Hollywood and become the next $20 million movie star…or make mega making music song deals.
I am sure that that this woman’s daughter is never going to be the next Whitney Houston or Barbara Streisand. Her daughter doesn’t stand a chance unles
s her mother has some money. It is highly unlikely that this woman’s daughter will succeed at much of anything if her mother’s attitude has always been-
“Oh, well if you can’t do it that’s okay. Just quit.”
What parent tells their child that?
What do these so-called experts know?
People who want their child or children to succeed in life push them. They push them to get up in morning…to make their beds… to clean their rooms… to brush their teeth… to comb their hair… to take a bath…etc. Parent’s push their children…and after a while the hope is our children will start pushing themselves. They must learn to get up…and make their way in life. They have to learn to clean their rooms on occasions… and how to take a bath and brush their teeth…and comb their hair without anyone having to pu
sh them.
And I do not mean by being mean and cruel to your 
children…or be overbearing in your desires for your children. No, not in that way…where the children come to dispise you because all you care about is that “A” or the winning of the ball game. No, not at all like that. But the kind of pushing that parents must do in order to get their children up and going…and to engage them in life.
It is called ‘growth and development.’
We grow…and develop over time. I am sure 
that over time even I have grown in the writing of these blogs. My first blogs are nothing like they are now…be it in their overall appearance…content…the amount of time I spend on creating them…and my total effort in doing them. I have grown…and so have they.
But I learned how to grow through my parents pressuring me to always do my best…and to never give up. Needless to say…I didn’t always like it…but it worked. Speaking of which…when my son spent 4 years in 9th grade…
Yes, I did say 4 years in 9th grade. I told him this-
“I don’t care how long it takes you to finish high school. You can sit there 
until you get old and grey if you want to. But you are going to stay there until you finish or until somebody walks up to you and taps you on the shoulders to tell you to get out. But you are going to stay there until then.”
And I meant every word of it.
It was not that my son was a bad child. But he was a social butterfly. I sat in on many of his classes just to ensure that he was doing his doing what he was suppose to be doing in school. And I often travelled in from New York… getting off the inter-state bus to catch a city bus to the whatever school he was at.
If you want your children to succeed you have got to commit yourself to 
their success. And you have to do it without surrendering. I never surrendered. Today my son is very successful. He successfully finished high school and then went on from there. Today he makes lots of money doing what he loves. But it did not come with me giving up on him or giving in to him.
It takes education to end up in life doing what you love. Must people work
doing what they have to…and oftentimes doing something that hate (and that is many times regardless of their education if they chose to study something just for the money). But those who are educated can pick and choose what it is that they want to do…and at what price. That is the beauty and difference that education can make.
This is not to say, however, that only people with good education succeed. Because there are many examples today and yesterday that prove that point as well. But, however, that road is not an easy one… and it becomes complicated with a lot of ‘no’s’…and plently of road blocks.
During the last year of my son’s 4th year in 9th grade whenever he asked me for anything I would just merely say-
“Four years-9th grade.”
That ended any further discussion about whatever it was that he was asking me for. Oh, how I loved that time…I did not buy one single thing for him that was not a need. He asked me for new pair of $100 sneakers…he asked me 
for a beeper…he asked me for all kinds of things. But he got none of them… no Christmas gifts…birthday gifts…nothing. Nothing…not that I would have bought him a beeper or spent $100 on a pair of sneakers anyways. But I still remember his face when I would say that to him…4 years-9th grade. But he made it out of 9th grade. And from that point on he began making the honor roll.
It took some time but it got there. It hit home… my saying that to him. It must have given him pause to sit back and think about the time he was wasting. He had thought of school as a fun place not a learning place. It is alright to have fun in school, but not whern it disrupts others…or hinders your learning…or that of those around you. My son did not hinder others…he just was busy not doing his work.
But after that first time of making it onto honor roll there was such a shift in my son’s attitude towards his school work. He started taking pride in 
himself and his school work. He even began to brag that he was the smartest boy in his class. And from that first moment on the honor roll he just kept on out performing all of them…because it felt better than sitting in school doing nothing…and everybody now looking up to him, and asking him to help them.
At the end of the day no child wants to do anything. I know I didn’t. We would have all rathered to have sat before the TV all day watching cartoons
or drawing and coloring on paper…where as today’s kids play all kinds of computer games…game boy and things like that. And if they could they would never set it down… or go to school if their parents let them.
So, enter this woman…who I guess is proud… Well, she states that she is proud. She feels that she has done some great thing by telling to her daughter to quit school. I would beg to differ.
And just like I said when I started this blog. It just goes to prove all along what I have always believed about these so-called ‘child experts.’ They do not have a clue. And nobody should be listening to them.
And before I forget…the reason I said that the woman (the mother) was probably some Professor from NYU or some other North Eastern college, was because her view seemed to be quite East Coast liberal. It was…or is quite liberal, which I think is how a lot of former flower children/hippy…or should I say ex-hippy…or ex-flower children liberal Eastern Professors think. And particularly if they have money…or come from families with 
money.
If you have money then it really doesn’t matter. You can say something dumb like tell your child to go ahead and just drop out. Because you have the finances t
o provide and care for that child for the rest of his or her life. And being that this woman has a daughter… Then she can do it right up until the time her daughter gets married.
Well, I was wrong…the woman who wrote the article teaches at some school in California.
But the point that made the whole article ridiculous for me was the fact that the woman…this ‘child/parenting expert’ was proud of herself for telling her daughter she should just drop out of high school. This she told her daughter because her daughter wasn’t doing well, and she didn’t like school.
Boy, if ever parent thought like this woman more than 3/4 of the school population would no longer be attending school.
What child doesn’t think that they hate school?
I didn’t…but that is beside the point. I guess I would be part of 1/4 attending school. But I don’t think I would really count. Because I only liked school because it got me out of the house and away from my sisters and brothers. When you are the oldest of 8 siblings…you fall in love with school real quick.
Now, back to this woman who wrote the article…this supposedly well educated woman…a woman of letters… having a doctorate in her field…which in turn gave way to her the claim to proclaim herself an expert in the first place. And this woman also writes books telling parents what to do concerning their children.
Real parents stand up. You better take those books by these so-called 
experts and throw them into your incinerator. Because clearly this woman doesn’t know what she is talking about. She doesn’t even have a clue. Her head must be stuck in the ground. And her hand is definitely not on the pulse of what is important in the real world.
And she teaches college students?????
If your child is going to succeed…they will need to be educated. And I hope that whoever your child is…I hope they are not in any of this woman’s classes.
Throughout history the levels of man’s success has always been measured and linked to his hard work and level of education. And education has always set the standard for the classes…separating those who have juxtapose to those who have not.
Now, on to Gary Coleman. 
While listening to Bev Smith last night on her late-night radio talk show over the internet, I heard that Gary had been emitted into the hospital and was in intensive care.
If ever you have considered getting your child involved in the entertainment business Gary Coleman’s life is definitely one which should give you pause and is worthy of another consideration.
If ever there was a group of child stars who did not fare well it was the 
group of child stars that appeared on the show with Gary Coleman. We all remember “Diff’ rent Strokes.” It ran all the way up until Arnold began to turn old before our very eyes…and therein laid his delima.
Size-wise he never grew much but his feature stopped 
ceasing to be as cute and lovable…I guess you could say. Which I have no doubt had a lot to do with his medication and kidney problem. But then too there were those storylines. They got to where they were just plain dumb. And so the show over time lost its appeal and audience.
But there was something going on in the background. Drugs came into their
midst. Then drinking added to the drugging. But we never could tell…least ways I couldn’t. But it affected the lives of the 2 other child stars on the show…more so than it did Gary.
Todd Bridges who was always good-looking, along with Dana plato all became sister and brothers. Willis…the character that Todd
played on the show, was supposedly Arnold’s real brother, who both end up being adopted into the rich Drummon family. Where Dana, Kimberly 
Drummond on the show, becomes their sister. Todd later reported that he and Dana experimented with drugs together while working on the show.
Dana later becomes pregnant by some boyfriend and got fired from the 
show. Like Gary Coleman, she too was adopted. And from articles that I have read…the woman who adopted her was hungry for money and really never cared much for the child otherwise.
Dana’s life like Willis’ and Gary’s was sad following the end of their years as stars on Diff’rent Strokes. Down and out Dana moved to Vegas with her baby. She found herself 
in a beat-up trailer park…and one day steped into a video store to rob it with a gun…got jail time…and she later died of an overdose.
Like Willis, Dana was probably the product of child 
abuse. She had the typical scars of a sexually abused child. Following her departure from Diff’rent Strokes she posed nude in a layout in Playboy…and later turned to staring in 
pronography.
Willis’ inner demons began to plague him following a friend of his father taking advantage of him sexually as a very young kid. Years later he found himself suffering 
from anger management, drinking and problems with drugs…and doing time in jail on weapons charges.
Dana at the age of 14 was already drinking and drugging long before she hit 
the set of Diff’rent Strokes. It is amazing that watching them you would have never guessed any of the inner turmoils in any of their lives.
No one can ever tell me about the demons which chase children long after the abuse stops. What a different life and end she might have had.
Arnold…or Gary suffered with kidney problems…a problem which attributed to the lack of his growth in stature. And he also became a very angry man as
the years went by. Often he was dragged into court stemming from incidents where he hit or punched a fan.
He was no longer that cute or funny little child star…but a little short man…out of 
work and turned against his then family. His adoptive parents he took to court claiming that they had robbed him.
Though he tried at different ventures…everything failed. And for a very brief time he even tried to pursue a college education…but that too failed.
Whenever his name came up in the news you always wondered who he had hit next?
It seemed that the whole world had turned against him…and he against it.
I think the one shinning moment through those years was when he and Willis teamed up on a movie showcasing their 
lives and the turmoil that followed after Diff’rent Strokes was ended. I have no doubt that that movie will pop up somewhere now that at the age of 42 Gary Coleman is gone.

Willis…or Todd which is his real name… has since gotten his life back on track. And often I have heard him talking about God in his life. I hear that he has a re-occuring role on a soap opera. I certainly wish the continued best for him…along with his continued growth in the Lord.
Yesterday I spent most of my morning resting for my afternoon studio shoot. About 1 o’clock I was up and rushing. But by the end of the night I was tired… but quite satisfied. I had gotten most of what I wanted… and everybody who said that they would… Well, they showed up.
Now, I am on my way with that. And I feel good.
And in case you are wondering why I have not said anything about my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE, lately. Well, for one thing I was hoping to be in New York promoting my book at the Book Expo America this week. And since you know I was in the studio shooting footage last night… So, you know that that didn’t happen…no me and New York City this week.
The other thing that happened…and perhaps you have experienced this. My flash drive died. It CRASHED…and I had all most all of website files on it. And I do mean it crashed…and I had failed to back-up those files anywhere else.
So, for the past 2 weeks I have been praying over my flash drive…and continuously sticking into this computer and that computer hoping for just anything to happen. But it has not. So, I have been trying not to think about.
What good would it do for me to get all upset over it?
None.
Because like you may have…I have learned this lesson more than once. And yet I continue to do it.
I never save anything on a back-up. And dealing with computers…which are very tempermental…you are taking a large risk if you don’t back-up everything someplace else.
And so…I have learned that lesson again. But I 
think that this time is the last time.

Tempertures here are climbing again. And it has been real hot here. Better pull out the sprinkler if you don’t have a pool…get yourself some Italian ice. I love them…and popsickles too.
Oh, yes…
Today while waiting on bus. I was joined by some high school seniors in their caps and gowns. And they looked beautiful…and their was an air of excitement and happiness in each of their eyes, as well as, upon their faces.
And I just had to compliment them on their achievements, and tell them how well and beautiful they all looked.
It was beautiful.
The weekend before last we were in Jersey at Drew University cheering for my brother as he walked across the stage accepting his doctorate degree. This past weekend a niece and cousin graduated from college. And this coming coming Wednesday another niece will be graduating from college.
My parent’s children are all growing up…and our family is expanding in many different ways. In our growth and knowledge of the Lord…in our family size…and in our educational knowledge. My partents time and efforts were vested well.
So, it has been busy around here with all the graduations. All of the 
graduation receptions…and all of the tears of pride and joy…and happiness for them. Hope you have had the opportunity to do the same. And if not this year maybe next. But it does not come with people giving up…or parents telling their children its okay you can just quit and drop out of school.
What a road map for desaster.

Celebrating women… Mrs. Dorothy Height’s passing… and women we cannot applaud …what some women won’t do…
I don’t know where you live…but here where I live it’s cold. And I do mean cold.
This morning before leaving out I made me a bowl of Cream of Wheat. Then I made sure I put on a coat.
Yes, a coat. Because… Well, because it is cold.
Though in speaking with one of my mother’s cousin’s I found out that they are having 90 degree weather in Florida. Wow…90 degree weather already. It is going to be smoldering there in Florida this coming summer if those kind of temperatures hold up.
But here it has been cold. And though I had been denying it.
I am now ready to face the hard and very cold facts…it’s cold. And I am not imagining it.
So, getting off the bus with my mind set on getting in the house an
d having myself a big hot bowl of steaming soup, but I decided to head in the opposite direction upon stepping off the bus instead.
Yes, my conscience was bothering me… because I haven’t blogged in a short while. So, I decided that even if I just started it tonight then I could finish it tomorrow. And that would be so much better than not getting started with this at all.
So, that is just what I am doing. Because I have so much I want to talk about… I just know that there is no way that I am going to be through before this lab closes 
at 11 PM tonight…and it is just about 7:30 PM now.
First, let me start by mentioning the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Height. Though I had never met her, I certainly did know of her.
Mrs. Height along with her many years of 
work as a Civil Rights activist, and as head of the National Council of Negro Women… she was also known for her signature hats which she always sport without fail through the years.
She passed on Tuesday, April 20th in Washington, DC after several weeks of illness. It is sad to hear that she suffered. But truly she exemplified all the
strengths and character of the women with whom she had the great fortune and I am sure pleasure to walk 
among… such as Mary McLeon Bethune, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Betty Shabazz, Coretta 
Scott King, Myrlie Evers, Ida B. Wells, Shirley Chisholm, Fannie Lou Hamer, Barbara Jordan, Bernice Reagon, Bessie Coleman and so many others.

It is odd that I am writing this blogg on this topic today. I never plan these things 
and never have any idea where I am going when I first start. And believe me that some people have written me pointing that out to me. But I welcome your comments…good or bad…or indifferent feel free to comment or drop me a note or 2.
Since this past Sunday was Mother’s Day…you really would have thought I had planned this. But I did not.
I love celebrating women…and it has nothing to do with me being a past lesbian.
Maybe it is that my mother was a woman…my grand-mother was one…my great grand-mother 
was one… and all my aunts and nieces and most of my friends are one. And I think of them as being 
phenomenal people…and women. Clearly, Mrs. Height and all the women that I mentioned above were phenomenal women…but the women I am going to mention now are not. Some how they both fell well below the mark.
Many times while surfing over the internet looking for things…mostly to buy…I sometimes come across things or an article that sparks my saying something. And these 2 stories did just that…though one of them I saw on the Oprah Show.
But this story I came across over the internet. In reading it …it made me wonder-
“What women won’t do for a man.”
What this women did was insane…and she is not the first. Though if I were a Judge…she would have never been able to walk into my court with such an excuse…though I do not know exactly what her lawyer or lawyers plead for during her court trial. But if I had been the Judge it would not have been that…because what this woman did and the reason behind it was so sorted and sick …and just plain selfishness.
This woman was a grandmother…and had been a school teacher…who at the time
she committed this heinous crime against a young mother…she was 42 years old.
She was not some uneducated woman out in the streets. But I guess we may all very well agree that her mind wasn’t half as good or as decent as many of those women who we so often look down upon, when we come across them.
I will not call this woman’s name…not because I fear being sued or anything. But I do not want to add to her ever becoming famous or known. I feel she should go down into the depths without fanfare or pity. She was indeed evil. Her mind was without a doubt twisted…and she did it for a man.
This is what she did…she sought out some woman who was pregnant along with a group of thugs…beat and killed…and tortured. Then she stole the woman’s infant child to pretend that the child was her’s in an attempt to fool some man…with the hopes of being able to keep him.

And I think what bothered me more about this story is that there are those rallying to keep her from being executed for the insane criminal act which she committed.
I am sorry…and yes I am very much a Christian. But I have no tolerance for people who allow the devil to use them in such a vile and evil way. And by judging my her most recent picture she seems to be highly content.
We have all…I imagine…been the recipient of some vile and most evil thoughts. The kind of thoughts that came to us that were so foreign to us. It was some insane maybe even immoral act…or something that we would never imagine doing. And yes…I too have experienced it.
I have a cousin who told me of such an incident which occurred with her. She told me that she used to be an alcoholic, and once while sitting at a table the thought came to her to get up from the table where she was sitting. She said she was told to take up a fork and begin stabbing a baby…a little infant that was nearby…and to stab it to death.
My cousin told me that at that moment is when she realized she had to 
stop drinking. She recognized the thought at being crazy and that it had frightened her…because the impulse to do it was so strong. And she said that she never drink again since that night.
In looking up info for this blog I came across information on Malcolm X’s 
grandson. The grandson who set his grand-mother on fire while she laid sleeping. Betty Shabazz suffered for nearly 2 months or more before finally succumbing to those injuries.
I have often 
wondered about her grandson whom she loved so much…a problem child…and perhaps is still troubled today. A child that she loved so much that she rather to have him come live with her than to see him placed some place and locked away, because no one could control him. And at the age of 12 he killed his own grand-mother.
What I have thought about on the times I have since reflected on him…was what went through his head that he would have done such a thing to someone who loved him so dearly?

It cannot be argued that some of toughest demons to resist are those which live inside of us. It is sad. But when crazy thoughts come into our minds we must with all our might resist them. A very large part of it is learning how to pray…and how to call upon the name of the Lord. It is what my cousin did. And it works…I know it for myself.
Now, on to the story I watched on Oprah last Thursday or Friday.
I had been in New York when the story broke…but like most people over time I had
forgotten it. But if I thought the woman I wrote about above was evil that goes doubly for Vanessa Jackson…whom one of my brothers informed me was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Note in the picture above…you will notice that 4 of the children look like something is wrong with them. They are different from the other children…not quite as well dressed…and if you look real closely you see that they were not as well…
Well, healthy looking…meaning not well nourished. Because they were not. That woman and her husband straved those little boys…while she, her husband and their biological children all eat well and seemed to be quite happy.
I do remember this story when it first broke…
Some neighbors called 911 because late one night they heard a noise outside their window. And when they looked out they thought they saw what looked to them like a very young child rampaging through their garbage looking for food.
That young child was the boy in the picture to the right of the woman. The little tiny boy who looks so light and fragile. He was actually 19 years old and weighed under 60 pounds. And look at her own children…some of them quite plumb… as well as, she and her husband.
I was dumbfounded when I listened to Oprah interview the brothers of that boy.
How could anyone be so heartless and so cruel?
These people called themselves ‘saved.’ They took those boys to church with them and their other children every Sunday. These people adopted those boys.
On the show the boys told how the woman would dress them in 3 or 4 sweaters under their clothes to make them appear fatter. How we gave them pancake mix to eat…and would tell them that they only had ‘x’ amount of time to eat it.
What kind of depraved people exist in this world?
Is money that important?
Vanessa Jackson and her husband, who has since died while in prison, went to church where they…I hope…were taught ‘love’…and that it is better to give than to receive. But somehow they felt that taking and cheating…and being evil and cruel was a better way.
They straved those little boys…and aided in seriously debilitating their growth, physically and mentally.
I could never love money that much. The world is filled with sick and degenerate people. I am so thankful to God that He gave me a mind to not to be 1 of them. And I hope that you aren’t either.

My Mother’s Day started with my cousin Jean…who loves reading 
her name in my blogs…waking me up early. It was then followed by my son telling me to get up and get dress because he was taking me to breakfast.
He greeted with a large bouquet of flowers in a tea cup. They are so beautiful…and I love my tea 
cup.
I hope your Mother’s Day was great too…or that you did something especially special for your mom or wife.
