OBAMA WINNER! ROMNEY big LOSER…biggest EVER…
And they are hating it. Hating that Obama won.
Before Ohio even reported their ballot count President Obama already had 282 electoral votes. Making him the winner for his 2nd term as the President of the United States. Ohio put the President at 303 electoral votes…and by the time Florida weighed in some 4 days later… Obama’s electoral count hit 332. Romney was finished at 206.
So, yes… President Barack Obama won… and it was not through cheating or lying… or even by playing games with the American people. He won by being real and being compassionate towards the people whom he has been elected to lead. And by showing that even though the odds were against him he could make things happen… and start to change.
How in the world do you throw away as much money as the people backing Mitt Romney on a horse race… and know in your hearts of 
hearts that your horse isn’t even that good?
You would have to be a fool.
And foolish they were. All those people… Republicans who poured in a million… a hundred million… a few hundred thousands… or even 50¢ to back a political opponent as flawed as Mitt Romney.
What were they thinking?
They did it feeling they had no choice… and that Romney was going to be their ‘great white hope.’ Because when you get right down to it that is all this campaign meant to them. It was not based upon issues… or substance… or even based upon truth for them. No, sadly it was not… but a need to have the black man removed from the White House by any means necessary. And if it took ever dime they had… they were willing to try and do it.
Personally, I hope to hear that a few of them have to file for bankruptcy… because they were… and are just a bunch of old racist idiots. And many times the only way such people who think as they do ever learn is through their pocketbooks… or checkbooks… or by zeroing out their entire bank accounts.
Which some of them might have done.
One might be able to understand it if any of their fears… or concerns (if they had any legitimate concerns) were real or true. But they were and are not. President Barack Obama has been doing a good job… and this country is on its way back. And greatly because of Obama’s efforts to keep at it regardless of the unnecessary blocking of his every move put up by the Republicans.
From de’ Donald Chump to Chuck ‘gimme a break’ Norris and a bunch of other fools… something was definitely wrong with their thinking.
If we are all Americans… then we should all want and desire the same things. But this is not so. 
There are people in this country who enjoy being considered ‘elitist.’ They strive on it. They love this status of being better off than most… going where they want… able to buy whatever they want when they want etc…etc… They live well… they drive well… and they play well. And this is all that matters to them.
They are shallow people. They live only for themselves.
Well, as a rule… they do. But when a black man became President of the United States… Barack Obama… they viewed this as a step towards loosing more and more of their cherished status-quo. Believing that soon all their exclusive little places would soon be overrun by the 
up-and-coming folk… folk like those who stepped into the White House 4 years ago. Who by the way are the new elite… and the lily whites have found that hard to swallow.
They would have loved history to regard Barack Obama’s first term as President as a fluke. But a second time around?
It can hardly ever go down in history as a ‘fluke.’ No, but rather a people’s choice.
No, Barack Obama’s winning the Presidency of the United States the first or the last time can hardly be considered either a ‘fluke’ or something which came by mere happenstance considering the sheer numbers of American who voted for him. But then these belly aching people they have another problem. And that is trying to determine among themselves who is or isn’t really American… a question they raise often when speaking about our President.
What they do not want to give President Barack Obama credit for is the thing which hurts them the most. And that is that he is smart.
I am so sure that they all almost cried while watching the debates when and even Romney had to admit, 
“Maybe, I can’t talk as good as him.”
What????
Did that white man say that… about a black man?
No wonder they didn’t want us to start learning how to read or write. Why they kept our schools in run down structures. And why back a few years ago none of our schools never had tracks or swimming pools… or libraries… of football fields… and many still do not.
So, now the winner has been declared. It was Barack Obama… and we didn’t even have to wait until mid-night. And when the announcements came in the news people said Obama didn’t even need Ohio to win… but he got it. And he definitely by the time Florida’s vote count was finally release some 4 days later… he didn’t need that state to win either. But he got it.
No wonder Romney was in such dismay. The man thought he had it in the bag. He was prepared to make his acceptance speech… but had never planned on making a loser speech. The fireworks were set to go off… people prepped to run into the street cheering… confetti ready to fall… and the bottles of champagne had already been opened. And then reality slowly began to seep in… they were loosing… loosing… lost.
The polls were wrong… but then how could they not help but to be wrong?
- Because the so-called polls kept saying that Obama was behind Romney is popularity… Now, that was a joke.
- Behind Romney on where America stood… Who thought of that?
- Behind Romney in how America felt where they wanted this country to go… Well, I guess the end of the election proved to to be wrong too.
And Romney and his people bet everything on what their pollsters were saying… and it all had to have been a lie. Which is what the Romney campaign became known for… lying. I guess all that lying caught up with them.
Now a whole week later they are still belly aching over it. Romney is saying Obama would not won if he hadn’t given people gifts. What gifts?
With all the money poured into Mitt Romney’s campaign he should never talk about anyone giving people gifts. They gave him the give that was supposed to do what had done during the Republican primaries… and that was to ensure that he would be the last man standing. But money could not do it. And lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of money couldn’t do it either… and that is what they cannot believe.
But why can’t they just accept that their man was not good enough?
Because it was never about being good. It was about color… and it is still about color.
When Barack Obama won 4 years ago we began to hear about this seceding thang. And now we are hearing it again.
It did not happen 4 years ago when they started churning the waters then with this craziness… and it is not going to happen now. They just want to put it out their as a why of spotting Obama’s win. But they are only showing their hand as the racists that they are. And they are truly that.
Because if another person… somebody more like them. Somebody who looked like them …had the same skin color like them …. Now, that would have been acceptable and there would not have been no talk of seceding from the Union of the United States. Without being a part of this federal government any state would soon fail. First of all they woul
d have to create all their own collateral… t distribute it …and buying up all that ole dirty American money that claim they don’t want any more since the President is somebody who is non-white. And before they knew it they would all be bankrupt… every state talking this craziness. And they would all soon find themselves running back to Obama for help.
So, they… these spoil little brat Republicans… need to stop making themselves look like fools… and trying to incite people against President Obama and his Administration. Because it won’t work. And it especially won’t work because most of us… more than 54% of Americans all voted OBAMA …and not ROMNEY anyway.
So, grow up and stop winding you losers… you are making little children look good.

UPDATE: Monday, November 19, 2012…. It is really a shame when public systems… such as a school district belittles itself in such a matter as this, as well in an attempt to degrade and belittle the President of 
the United States. Years ago such a thing as this would never have been tolerated by any school system. But things change… and particularly when it comes down to the color of skin.
This piece of paper was circulated in some local school by a teacher.
Worst than being just a bunch of bad losers… they are a bunch of the worst losers EVER. They really should just grow up.
Thankful for the warmth coming back. Was concerned about those without electricity and whose homes and apartments were damaged with 
Hurricane Sandy blew in. But our God is sooooo good. As strong and as powerful as Sandy was so many more could have been hurt or killed… and much more destroyed.
It is amazing to me that something of this nature had never happened to New York City before… being that New York sits on the Atlantic Ocean and is made up of nothing but a bunch of islands.
And another thought came to my mind just now… as I was about to end this blog. It is hard for me to believe that anyone would vote ‘yes’ on legalizing marijuana for recreational use… meaning like the way the teenage kids smoke it.
Now, we have to wor
ry about not only drunken drinkers but those with ‘a buzz‘ from smoking a couple or few marijuana joints. And the stuff does destroy brain cells. Unbelievable…
Then I wonder how many states voted on doctors prescripting a pill for people to commit suicide. I just have 1 question…
How is it that people are so pro-life… yet would vote ‘yes’ on distributing pills that people can kill themselves?
This is crazy… 
We are beginning to live in some very crazy times.
Well, Veterans Day just passed… and we are now looking toward Thanksgiving. Hope that you have an enjoyable… in case I fail to post anything between now then.

Sandusky…abuser, liar, sodomite and destoryer of young boys… and Herman Cain…
Yesterday I read that Sandusky’s lawyers released to the press that the young men coming out against Penn State ex-coach Jerry Sandusky were not victims… but people who were coming forth ‘for the money.’
And you know what?
Oftentimes, victims do come forward for the money. Sometimes it might move some who would not step forward otherwise. But regards victims… are victims. Sandusky used his power, position and a shaddy charity to take advantage sexually of very young boys. They deserved to make him pay.

What a crazy statement to make. Money can’t undo what Sandusky has done.
Of course they should come forth…but all the money
in the world will never change what was stolen from those young boys. They are due whatever financial compensation they can get.
But it will never be enough.
Money cannot recover your manhood.
Money cannot restore your innocence.
Money cannot remove the guilt you feel as a child when someone violates you.
Money cannot replace that which was stolen.
Nor can money reclaim that which was eroded and may have been destoryed inside those young boys, when someone enters you into something you are too young to even understand.

There is no doubt that the man was… or is a pedophile. He destoryed lives… and 
people knew about it and turned blinded eyes on it. They should all go down.
It was criminal. And no one reported it.
In this kind of thing …and for the number of years that Sandusky had been involved with young children… I am sure that there are many more victims. And if the truth be told… I believe that Jerry probably had a few of his friends involved in it too.
Truthfully, it would not surprise me if a ring of pedophiles becomes exposed before this whole story wraps up. A ring of others involved that includes other football personnel from Penn State… and professional staff… and possibly even players on the Penn State teams too.
The world of pedophiles is very large… and encompasses all kinds of unsuspecting people. Men from all walks of life… who love little boys… and the younger the better.
N.A.M.B.L.E.R. is a national association of men who seek out young boys for sex. In fact its initals stand for National Association of Men and Boys etc… etc… This organization is large. And their motto is ‘eight is too late.’
Sick isn’t it?
In reading some of the articles that are now surfacing on this story about complaints against Sandusky at least 1 mother some time ago contacted Penn State… when her son came home with wet hair. She called the campus officals complaining that Sandusky had done something to her son. So for some time the powers that be upon the campus of Penn State knew. Not only did they know but they also allowed Sandusky to do his thing in their locker rooms and showers upon their campus… 
knowing what he was doing. And they never tried to stop him.
In almost all cases of predators… whether a school teacher, coach, Boys Scout leader, preacher, priest etc… they seek out victims of a certain nature. Usually children without a father… or come from troubled homes… underprivilged and/or minority children etc. Children who cannot help themselves …or come from parents who do not have resources. And so it was with Sandusky… and his fake little organization that had been supposedly set up to aid underpriviledge children.
In reading the Washington Times article on this story… it states that Sandusky lived only a mile away from an elementary school. People who are into children sexually… try to get as close to them as many ways as possible.
I recall as little child when walking to school how the cars were lined up just a little beyond the school yard… with white men trying to intrigue us into their cars. And I say ‘white men’ because I cannot remember seeing any vehicles with black men or any other race doing it. But I do know that all races have sexual offenders …and those who seek out little children.
Because even though the cars awaiting us on our school block just outside of our school yard were white men… I had encounter Hispanic men… and black men quilty of doing the same… trying to entice little children to lure them into sex. I eventually did become 1 of them that got lured.
But once while working in Jersey… I was on the bus riding somewhere in Newark when I happened to glance out the window. I saw a black man in the broad daylight… in the middle of people on the sidewalk. There he was with his penis in his hand following behind this very young little girl… who trying to escape him ran into a corner store. And that man went into the store right behind her… with his penis still in his hand.
That scene shocked me. I often lament that I did not get off that bus and go back to help that little girl. That thought of her …that little girl and that …and that MAN stays in my mind. And I will forever regret not getting off that bus.
Men travel all over the world to places where they can indulge with very young girls and boys freely. The child sex trade is big… and I guess exploding. So many poor children around the globe are being exploited 
everywhere… even in this country for money. Some given up by their own parents in exchange for drugs and alochol …and/or cigarettes. And in poorer countries in exchange for food, housing or whatever else the sale of their little child can bring.
What a curel world.
Sandusky threw himself into things which gave him massive access to a lot of little boys. Even in the founding of an organization that was supposedly set up to help and aid underprivilged children, Sandusky put himself in an arena that availed more and more little boys to him. So much so that his organization somehow got parents to allow their sons to go and stay in his home with him and his wife.
And speaking of Sandusky’s wife… of course she had to come out finally …claiming that she knew nothing. She knew.
At least 1 victim alleged that he cried out for her to help him… and she did nothing. Sandusky’s wife would be party to Sandusky’s crimes if she did claim that she knew. But there is no way that she could not have known… especially since so many others did… and so much of it took place within their own home. And it appears that after a point the man began to feel that he was untouchable.
When the charges started surfacing… what did Sandusky do?
He called some of his victims to come and have dinner with him. Who does that?
The next thing that he lawyers are going to claim is that Sandusky is insane… and probably that he was a victim of abuse himself. They always play those same game cards. If they can’t see where they can win the cases 1 way… lawyers shift their game play and start saying ‘he couldn’t help himself.’ ’He was under great strain.’ ‘His father never loved him’… and used to abuse him… or the man down the street… or his uncle. The story is always the same.
But if this were true than everyone would be a perpetrator… a pedophile… a sexual 
predator… an abuser of women, children and/or boys. But this is not so. And most people in some way or other have been abused.
If you remember John Gacy… the mass murder years ago from Chicago or a suburb outside of Chicago. He was a contractor who used to dress up as a clown and perform at all kinds of chartities, parades, kiddie parties etc. When a 15 year old turned up missing they discovered that Gacy had not only abducted him but killed him too. They found that Gacy had done the same to many other young boys …all of whom they discovered were buried behind the walls and under the floor broads of Gacy’s home.

We would all say that such a man must have been crazy.
How could he have done what he had done?
And then to have buried those boys… more than 13 of them within the framework of his own home.
Now, that sounds crazy. But he was smart enough to continue to do what he had been doing for years. And who knows how long really that John Gacy had been raping and killing young boys before he thought about deposing of their bodies within the walls and floors of his own home?
Sandusky may look crazy now… and I would
want to look crazy too if I thought I was faced with the rest of my life behind bars. But while he was grabbing a hold of those 10 and 11 year old boys… he wasn’t crazy. He was enjoying it… and worst of all he thought himself smart.
Didn’t say much about it… but it did not get pass me.
That Herman Cain was a real joke.
For a while it looked like the Republicans had decided to run a supposed ‘black man’ 
against President Obama. Now, that would have really have been a joke if they could have mustered it. But poor ol’ Herman had too many ghost in his closet.
The first thing I would like to look at regarding Herman Cain is why?
Why would you even think about running for President of the United States knowing what Herman knew?
Herman knew that he had a problem keeping his hands to himself.
Speaking of which… I have decided that I have really got to talk to some guy myself.
Not Herman but somebody just like him.
Everytime I see this guy he has got to embrace me… and kiss me. I do not like it.
A couple of years I stopped the guy as he reached for me… saying ‘no.’ And I told him that I only wanted him to shake my hand if he had to make contact with me.
This I did… and I did write about this situation in a prior blog of mine. I did this after I was standing in a bank line …and the guy seeing me stepped into the bank, and then commenced to plant a kiss on the back of my neck.
Are you kidding me???????
At first it did not hit me… but when it did I was livid.
How dare that man sneak up behind me and kiss me on my neck …like he and I had something going on. Nothing could be further from the truth… but anybody witnessing that would have believed otherwise. The Bible tells us that we have to forsake even the illusion of un-holiness.
So, the very next time I saw the guy… here he came again reaching for me… and I stopped him. And I told him ‘no’ …and I broke it down for him believing I had settled that matter. And I had.
But it seems that he has totally forgotten that conversation these days.
If somebody told me that something I was doing made them uncomfortable… I would cease to do it. I respect other people’s space. But it seems that many people do not. And 
when it comes to men and women… men lack a lot of understanding. We don’t like just any ol’ body grabbing a hold of us… or kissing us.
And why should we?
Why does a woman have to tell you ‘no’ regarding anything pertaining to her?
It would seem that a man’s respect of women would automatically give way to the respect of her space.
But it does not. They clearly do not think like us.
Men feel that they can do to women whatever they want.
I do not feel it flattering to have some funky man grab a hold of me.
Nor do I just want everybody in this world to come and just freely lay a kiss on me.
Which is something that just happened to me only a couple of hours ago. Another person I wish would just stop.
With all the various disases going around… all kinds of things on people’s lips… tongues and mouth. No, I don’t want people coming up and kissing on me. And 
particularly people I certainly do not know… or hardly know… and plan on keeping that way.
Having worked for years with men… I am simply not tolerant of a lot of things now. Like I don’t want anybody calling me ‘baby.’ I listened to them calling each other ‘man’ and referring to each other by their names… but when it came to me… is was ‘honey.’
I was not anybody’s ‘honey.’ I had a name… and that name was just fine with me. My parents gave it to me… and called me by it all their lives.
So, why not everybody else?
But it was a way of degrading me… minimizing me. And it is a thing which men love to do to women in the work force.
They like keeping us in ‘our place.’
Herman Cain… it was clear to me even when I first heard him speak …that he was the kind of man I would have never liked working for. He sounded arrogant… puffed up… and filled with himself. Narcissistic in every possible way.
Which would account for why he would believe …knowing his history with women… and how many women who had filed charges against him… why he would think that such a man with ‘that kind’ of a history …as his would be qualified to run, and be sucessful in a bid for the Presidency of this country.
Yes, that would explain why.
I only say 1 thing… Bill Clinton.
And maybe you might say… John Kennedy too.
Okay, I’ll give you that. We could include the Senate and Congress too. And while we are going at it… let us not stop there… but include Governors and other elected officials… police officers… company heads etc… And we could go on forever… and thi
s list does not exclude 
women. Because there have been a few.
Moral standards are not what they used to be… nor are they required it seems. Why would you quiz and question canidates for certain Cabinet offices in this country… and just allow people with obvious character fawls run for the highest office of this country?
Or any office?
Or run any school?
Or head up any church?
What are we thinking?
How could we be so caught up with people that we are willing to just lay aside certain obvious faults in their moral nature?
As much as I used to feel that I liked Bill Clinton back in the day… that’s slang for when he was President… and/or running for President… the truth of matter is this. The man had issues.
Herman Cain had and has issues. And his were bigger than Clinton’s. Because the man dotted upon himself so much… and saw no wrong in ‘him.’
What an egomaniac?
And lets not negate Herman’s propensity for lying.
“Who lies about things that are a matter of legal record?”
“Herman…”
Forget ’999′… it would have been more like ’666′ if Herman got in.
Now, going back to the game plan. The plan was to chump up Cain to run against Obama. Thereby pitting 2 black men against each other… which ‘they’ felt would split the black vote. This in turn would allow… ‘their’ real guy… an outside canidate to ease into a win, and take the White House.
That was the political game plan of some key Republicans. It was the way that they were hoping would guarantee a win for them and their party.
Do we really look that DUMB????
We are really not the dumber race. Believe that if you believe nothing else.
Because ‘you’ had to know that was a game the Republicans was playing …by pretending Herman Cain was so popular among Republicans.
Who were they kidding?
Most Republicans hate Obama. And they hate him for the most part for no other 
reason than the fact that he is a black man.
And how dare he be black …and smart too.
Everything that Obama has tried to do the Republican Party has blocked. Any bill or intitative to get American moving and back on track they have hindered. Even down to refusing federal funds to begin rebuilting America’s infrastructure. All for the pleasure of claiming that Obama is a failure.
But Obama is not a failure. Failure is something which is not in Obama’s vocabulary. Nor does he believe in quitting because it appears that the deck is stacked against him. And do note the word ‘appears.’
I have come to know that oftentimes it not what it ‘appears’ to be… that is what actually is. That’s why I do not follow polls. Learned in my statistics class… No, it was in 1 of my poli-Sci classes on research… that taught me ‘it is how you phrase the question‘… to get the answer that you want. Pollsters are paid by interest groups… parties that want to slant whatever their interest is… in their favor by misleading people on a bunch of supposed facts that many times are not true and are meaningless.
So, the polls that showed Cain to be a favorite…
How in the world could you have believed that?
No, way in the world were the Republicans going to put any black man into the White House. And never 2 black Presidents… back to back?
They would have all curled up and died first.
So, that whole thing about Herman Cain was a myth. They were never going to let him in the White House. Not unless he was going in delivering some pizza.
Must say though that it is a shame when men in power be they white or black… or any nationality… sit in power, and chose to abuse the power vested in them. By proving 
themselves less than moral. They have no character. Cain clearly is a man without character.
If they choose not to say anything else about Obama… at least his character is certainly not an issue. And his desire to uphold the values of his office, and that as a husband and family man are sure and true.

more snow. But it has been cold. And for a while we had lots of rain… but that is sure to change as we move closer and closer to Christmas.

THE VERIZON ATTITUDE… changes in the workplace…
I can’t imagine working for anyone who threatened me.
In reading a posting on my facebook page, I read where the daughter of 1 of my facebook friends was told by her employer during Hurrican Irene-
“If any of you leaves, you’re fired.”
Meaning that if any of the employees left the job they would be terminated.
I can’t imagine me wanting to work for anyone who would even consider trying to strong-arm me like that… and particularly in a state of emergency. But it made me think of 9/ll.
On September 11th …on the day that the airplanes flew into the World Trade Center, after the first plane hit the first tower …many of the workers in the second tower were told to remain seated, to continue working.
But friends of mine who were inside the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center that day… told me that when they saw that first plane hit… they didn’t care what their supervisors said… they were getting out of there. And because many people 
had already began evacuating that second tower, as soon as they saw what had happened to the first tower… it for many meant the difference between life and death.
A few days ago while driving down to Atlanta, I happened to catch a news story on 1010 WINS …an all news radio network in New York City. I had seen the picketers standing before various Verizon locations. But I did not know what was going on.

It seems that the contract for 45,000 Verizon workers had expired… meaning the Verzion worker’s contract is 
now up for renegotiation. Playing hardball, Verizon withdrew their worker’s health plan when the workers went out on strike. Verzion claim that they could no longer afford to pay for the worker’s health coverage because they were losing so much money with them being out on strike.
BALONEY.
Everybody who is doing any business with Verizon should cancel every service …or whatever have you with them.
What money is Verizon losing?
None. In fact, with the workers out… they are saving money. Because Verizon doesn’t have to pay them while they are out on strike.
But the problem we face today is this… IT IS AN EMPLOYER’S MARKET.
Do you hear me?
Can you understand that?
It is like how they say it is a buyer’s market in terms of real estate sales. Because not many people are buying homes …and banks are not lending as much as they used to. So, if you got money …and it doesn’t matter about what the seller is asking 
for …make them an offer. They may just take it… you never know. Because they are not getting many other offers these days. And who knows… your’s might be their only offer.
And you see this clear across the board. Car sales and other large ticket items… because there is less cash flow these days with so many people out of work.
And therein lays the Verizon workers dilemma.Verizon is having its way with the Verizon worker’s union 
because so many people are out of work… and Verizon knows that it has the power to wheel and deal as it pleases because of the way the job market is today.
These companies have no employee loyalty. In fact, most companies today could care less about their employees. This is why most companies today do not even offer full-time employment anymore. Who needs full-time employees when there are millions of people willing… able …and ready to acce
pt part-time employment with no benefits, and wages that amount to little… but beats nothing.
There had been a time when America was sending top executives to China to learn techniques of how to create a happy and more productive working enviroment. It would seem that those executives learned something much more valuable to them. How to take an iron fist and hold it over the heads of your employees… and keep it there. Forcing them to produce more for less… while compensating them little… and forcing them to smile while the company break their backs.
I dislike companies with the Verzion attitude. My cell phone is a Sprint account… but my broadband was with Verizon. I can’t tell you how happy I am that it is off … and has been so for some time now. But I can’t see 
myself giving money to a company that will not do its employees right.
Though these companies may feel that they have the power… the truth of the matter is… no they don’t. We do. 
And our power can bring any company to its knees just as the Montgomery bus boycotts brought that city of Montgomery to its knees in the mid 1960′s, and gave way to the opening of the doors that gave us all the right to vote, sleep and eat … etc… etc… where we wanted to. Today we get on the highway and travel anywhere we want… as African American people in America… eat where we want to eat… and book a hotel and sleep where we want to sleep. But for years this was not the case at all.
I remember listening to Shirley Caesar talking about that very subject on a television show that she was being interviewed on. She said that back then when they travelled… talking about her days as a young singer travelling with Albertina Walker and the Caravan… back in latter 50′s through the 60′s. She said-
“We had to sleep in our car. Because back then they did not allow us (black folks) to stay in the hotels or the motels like they do today. And we just couldn’t pull up anywhere and eat either. Because it wasn’t allowed. If we 
wanted food. 
We had to go back around to the back the door and see if they would give us some food.”
Thank God for powerful people… who knew that they possessed power. Or we would still be sitting on the back of the bus today.
Union busting is not anything new. One of the greatest examples of it is when Ronald Reagon decided to interfere in the air traffic controller strike, PATCO …in August 1981. Reagon 
froze the air traffic controller’s $3.5 million strike fund in order to force the striking workers back to work… saying that they were in violation.

And if you remember any facts to this story… you will remember how quickly many of the striking air traffic 
controllers were replaced. While a the powers to be… then trained a bunch of unprofessionals to replace to them.
And our air ways have never been the same. They have found people sleeping and all kinds of crazy things. And we will not discuss what took place on 9/11.
Because if the truth be told… that is still a mystery to me?
How is it that at least 3 airplanes took off from Logan Airport in Boston… and got so far off of their courses. And nobody …not 1 person knew about it until very important buildings began to be flown into?
Something is wrong with that picture. And for the life of me… how was it that the 2nd airplane was allowed to hit the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center? This is even a bigger mystery to me?
Because before it did… every airplane and helicopter in New York City was up in the air that day soon after 
the 1st airplane had flown in the World Trade Center. So then, how is it that nobody saw the 2nd airplane until after it hit the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center?
My niece woke me that morning with a phone call saying that an airplane had just flown into 1 of the towers of the World Trade Center. And as she was still talking to me… some 20 minutes later the 2nd airplane flew into 
the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center.
How could that have happened?
After the 1st airplane into that air space… clearly, a 2nd air craft entering into that same air space should never have happened.
First of all, the air space around the whole area of the World Trade Center and Statue of Liberty was and is…a protected air space. Which means it was supposed to be under the protection of fighter jets anyhow. But notwithstanding the admission of the 1st air craft into that air space… clearly, a 2nd air craft entering into that same air space should have most definitely been shot down…and shot down 
long before coming in contact with the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center.
But going back to the then President Reagon who decided that he needed to step in on the striking air traffic controllers… and teach them a lesson. Reagon, of course, being the idol of ever Republican… the 1 that they most try to exemplify, and proclaim themselves to be the most like. And I wonder if that was before or after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s?
But then of course… nobody knows exactly how long Reagon had actually been losing it. Though I must say that most of the Republican Party seems to be fit candidates for an Alzheimer’s examination. Because truly most of them seem to be suffering from some sort of mental deficiency… starting with but not limited to Palin.
Something has to be wrong …mentally with a bunch of people who claim that they love something and seek so vigilantly to destroy it. And I am talking about America.
They claim that they love America. Yet everything they have been doing lately… and I am talking … for years now… has been done to undermine America… if not to utterly destroy it.
One of the most disastrous things to happen to the United States of America was something called George W. Bush. I understand how wars were used in past American History to re-jump start the economy. But George who was 
supposedly an economy major from that great learning institution known as Yale University, in New Haven, CT. George having gotten into hot water somehow either on his own… or via the un-wise thinking of some of his flunkies…they came up with a plan. The plan was to go to war. Start some wars and the economy will take off again… the money you spent will be forgotten… and forgiven… and all will be well.
But there was a problem with the plan. The work place had changed.
In years past America had plenty of factories and factory workers. But by the time George stole his way into the White House all those jobs were gone. Those factories had been closed… and years later turned into lovely condominiums. And if the companies still exists those jobs didn’t… robots had moved in and replaced the workers.
Do you remember when you used to read the Help Wanted Ads and saw a train of Bank Teller jobs being offered?
Look for that now. You won’t find it. Because many of those jobs no longer exist. Bank tellers have been replaced by atm machines.
The same has happened to a position called ‘receptionist.’ When was the last time you heard that word?
It is voice mail… and automated voice activated systems now. No more receptionist jobs almost anywhere today.
Most utility companies have closed down their offices which used to handle bill paying services. They don’t do that any more. Oh, no… If you can’t send it in by mail… or go to a local payment center at your check cashing center …or corner store… then for a charge call them and they will take your payment over the phone.
In 2008 Americans voted for a change. While Republicans are 
quick to say that Obama did not… or has not delivered.
Yet on the other hand Republicans will never say-
“And we have done everything within our power to ensure it.”
On every issue… and non-issue Republicans have done their best to block Obama from even trying to do anything to fix the mess. A massive and highly expensive and burdensome mess… that George W. Bush… a Republican …whom I believe will never ever be forgotten… for the mess that he left us all in. And when President Obama has managed to get something pass them… they … the Republicans attack it like a bunch o
f mad dogs.
Whoever said that Barack Obama was a magician?
Whoever said Obama was Merlin?
Or even had some kind of ‘black magic?’
In case you did think that let me be the first to just say-
“Are you for real?”
Magic is an illusion. It is based upon trickery… cunning and deceit. Thank goodness these are not traits that are found within our President Barack Obama.
President Barack Obama has never lied to us about ‘weapons of mass destruction.’
He has never tried to pull the wool over our eyes… by blinding us with a bunch of codes that meant absolutely nothing… code RED… code YELLOW… (if you have no understanding of this then you would have had to have lived in New York City following 9/11).
Obama has never tried to used 1 fear tactic to keep us up under our beds… or hid in our closets.
President Barack Obama is not the cause for why America is where America is today. He had nothing at all do do with it. He did not bring us here. In fact, as quiet as it is kept… he is trying to fix this mess. It is more than possible that he might aid in bringing us a long ways out of this runt… if we all stop listening to lies. Stop being deceived… and turning every which way the winds blows.
It is Republican deceit and lies that have turned this country upside down… and not Barack Obama.
- Corporate greed and mis-handling of business was here long before Barack Obama walked into the White House
- Job losses many years before Obama
- National Debt was already there… but really began running away after George W. Bush stepped into the Presidential picture
- Problems on Wall Street with the stock market are not new… trace them back into the 1930′s
Several States now have had to fight against Republican Governors who lead people into believing that they were either the man or woman for the job… and would wholly work for them… the voters. Telling them that they were a person with their interests in their mind and in heart… only for those voters to lament a vote that they ever casted in that person’s favor. It ended up costing voters benefits… or their job… or a less powerful union etc. Because that Republican political had an agenda. And that agenda had nothing to do with the people’s minds… or hearts that they con into believing in them with their claims of ‘I want to serve you.’
The Republicans are so slimy they have created a 2nd Republican Party… the co-called Tea Party a group of real lunatics… formed by that lunatic queen Palin and few other crazies. All of whom who have fallen out with one another… that is how firmly rooted they were. Like a bunch of crabs in a barrel… all clamouring to be the top dog… and if they can’t then they pick up their marbles and go home.
They have all… whether they call themselves ‘Tea Party’ or not… they …the Republicans have all developed a seek and destroy attitude. And that attitude did not just get started when President Barack Obama stepped into the White House… it is an attitude that they have long adapted to.
You need only to look at the 2000 Presidential Election between George W. Bush and John Kerry to see how demented the Republicans are. They saw nothing 
wrong …NOTHING…in undermining the entire American practice of our right to vote… and to have ALL our votes counted. And it was not something that they were not bold enough to do so all could see… and dared any of us to do anything about it.
So, don’t blame Obama. This mess is not his. But he decide to champion the cause… to try to set America back on the right course. To raise Her from low depths She sank to under what no one can call ‘leadership’… but just say… George Bush brought Her to.
Don’t look for magic. Look at it as it really is. The world has changed. And the work place and work force has changed with it.
Many jobs that people used to do… no longer exist.
Re-training people has it place… I guess. But when they are re-trained where will they go?
Everyone is learning computers… but there are only but so many computer jobs.
The medical field is good. In a field that had nothing but female mostly… had seen a great emergence of male. Use to be you never saw a male nurse… but today hospitals are loaded with them. Men are entering the nursing field in very large numbers. And to think there was a time that such a thing… would have been seen as being sissy.
One thing is for sure… no matter what happens in this world… we all at some 
point or other need something medical. As long as we are in these bodies the need for the medical profession cannot …or will ever be replaced. But that is not to say that it too… will not evolve. It has.
However, technology is forever changing things. But even so there will still only be a need for but so many people to work in the medical field too… at any given time.
Radio stations have changed… television stations have changed. Most newspaper companies have gone out of 
business… because few people read newspapers any more. They get their news now over the internet… on their ipads… and cells. And if you haven’t noticed… most news companies have cut back drastically on their staff.
For 1 of my journalism classes, my professor… a great woman… had been booted out of her position as a staff writer for a local newspaper… a job she had had for many years. That company’s lost was of course … my great gain. Because she came with a wealth of knowledge, and understanding about the history and future of journalism… and media at large.
But if you have noticed over the internet all the news sources seem to buy their stories from 1 source. You can read the exact same story… word for word from 1 internet source to another. And if you are like me… you always have a need to want to know more… but they don’t have it to give.
And somewhere along the way… they grab ahold of this attitude: THAT LESS IS MORE.
Yeah, right… When I want to know less…or read less… I will just stop. I don’t need anyone deciding for me… when I have had enough.
Which I guess is the main reason why so many people like my blog… www.bsmith101.wordpress.com. For as you can tell… I do not believe in the ‘less is more’ concept. Nor do I just regenerate news items. What a waste that is. If I follow a story… I want to read something I haven’t already read… or at the very least …give me 
some more details …or info on whatever it is I’ve come to your website searching for.
But going back to my thought… the workplace has changed. It is not what it was 20 years ago… or even 10 years ago.
Remember all those customer service jobs that used to be in the newspapers?
Roughly about 20 years ago customer service became such a big thing. There were tons of ad campaigns about the type of service you could expect if you did business with such and such. Companies trained their employees to greet you in a special way, and to service you as quickly and efficiently as they could.
Today all of that is gone to the wind. You can stand in a line for up to 10 or 20 minutes listening 
to someone… who is working the only open window… or check-out line… carry on a conversation with another employee or either with the person who had been right ahead of before they got to the cashier.
Have you experienced that?
You are at the top of the line… but suddenly the ‘ONLY’ open window has a highly talkative employee… or someone looking around as though they are trying to wonder why ‘their’ window or ‘their’ counter is the only 1 open?
So, what do they do?
They slow down… as if mentally they have taken a mental stand in their mind… to not kill themselves trying to serve all the people who waiting in line.
No body cares about customer service any more. And so… gone are these jobs.
Switchboard operators are a thing of the past too. A little company in your area that hired local people… mostly women to man the phone lines. But then it was for mostly doctor’s offices. Today those people can be 
anywhere in the world taking tons of calls for everything from subscriptions to publications, orders for books or other products, complaints, messages, prayer requests …you name it. But small companies in your town probably do not offer this service any more because it has been farmed out around the world.
Most of the manufacturing companies long departed …going into Mexico and other countries where the labor was cheaper.
This country really does not have a great number of blue collar workers any more. Most of the automobile
workers were replaced by robots… or companies that sent large divisions of their manufacturing into other countries as well.
So where are the jobs?
Where are the openings that are available …or will become available for all the displaced workers who are currently out of work… and have been so now for years?
There are none. And nobody can do anything to change that… because of computers coming into the marketplace. They… computers brought about an unpresidented change to what was our workplace.
The only thing you can do is look for the next big wave in the future. That will
More and more colleges are offering on-line courses. Have you noticed that?
Some schools are over the internet only.
I am dropping hints here. Personally, I hate on-line courses… and feel that they are a huge waste of time. 
If you are going to sit in isolation… with no classroom interaction… then you might as well just read the book and be done with it.
But if you were considering a teaching career. Great… but you should also consider this fact. That soon many of those teaching jobs too will soon be gone. Due to on-line classes and on-line classrooms… and schools… cities… colleges and universities looking to cut their budgets. It is coming… and soon the classroom as we know it today will be gone forever too… just like yesterdays work force.
And with it will be gone… tenure. Tenures will bite the dust just like pension plans… and all other full-time employment; and whatever else they can do away with for the sank of the bottom line.

Soon even common currency as we know it will be gone too. They are already talking about stop minting the $1 bill. Soon it will just be all plastic… be it a debit card …or credit card…. or something else. But the coins will be gone …and the paper bills.
Bet all those folks working at the Mints all felt that their jobs were well secured. 
We have all better start to think again.
Who ever thought there would be no more pension plans?
Or health care benefits on your job?
I didn’t.
You really have to be a visionary. You have to look deep into the future. You must go beyond your nose… if you truly want to have a chance in the future. You have to look deep beyond what you
see. The future is what you cannot visually see… but something coming.
Many people now do not even go into the office any more. They can do all their work from home. They write their news articles at home… edit news copy at home… edit books at home… and mother-frames and inter-locking networks are big things in corporations now.
I do see computers… and our dependence upon them growing.
In New York City they have all most totally done away with ticket booth operators down in the subway system. They too have been replaced by machines… which can dispense to you fare tickets. And while in Boston not so long ago… I noticed that they were doing the same in their subway system.
The world is becoming a place of less working people… and more automated machines. And unless you are prepared to service these machines… or program these machines… your work history will too soon come to an abrupt end. And you will find yourself with a need to be re-trained… to nothing.
So, when George W. Bush thought that he could jump start the economy by creating a war… with the hope that the war would create jobs. He and his people forgot something. All those factories were gone… and so weren’t those jobs. And even if the jobs could be revived… robotics still had replaced the manpower that used to produce the goods.
So, the wars didn’t work. But only sunk us deeper and deeper into debt as the years have dragged on. But of course …the Republicans will never tell you any of this. Any more than Verizon will tell you that they were 
happy for any old excuse to rid themselves of paying their employee’s health benefits.
Irene hit the East Coast hard… and it seems that my cousin who informed me of the storm was right. Sadly there were a few deaths. But thank God He saw most of us through it safely.
My cousins and friends in various places… including my brother had to deal of electrical outages. But that is 
the least. Many suffered damages due to flooding and/or falling trees.
The good news is Irene wasn’t as bad as what had been expected. To God be the glory.
The New York subway is up and running once again. Though on our way back from Atlanta… I did notice where many of the over-passes in the New York area were being worked on. And that was following the earthquake that hit us… before Irene came bouncing and blowing in.

To spite their nose….
We have all heard that saying-
“They or she or he is cutting off his ….or her ….or their nose in spite of their face.”
What it simply means is that they…he…or she…because of some problem…dislike …hate or some type of disdain of their face…decide to get rid of or destroy …or remove …have redone that nose “in spite of their face.” Or in other words… they end up destroying …or making a bigger mess to their face.
You know in thinking about this it makes me think of all those 
plastic surgery mistakes…the things that people decided that they wanted to corrected about their face or some part of their body. They decide that the plastic surgeon is able to give them ‘that’ look which they have always wanted. So, they set up an appointment with the plastic surgeon to have the work done. Low and behold when the wrappings come 
off…they discover that something went wrong. The surgery did not turn out as they both thought…them and the plastic surgeon who did the work. What they thought was so bad before is now made worst…and there is no going back to the way it was.
Whatever the plastic surgeon gave them is what they end up with…whether they like it or not.
When we go into the ballot box and elect public officials we do it believing that we are voting in people who are working on our ‘behaves.’ Not people who desire to be voted into public office to fulfill their own personal…or even party 
agendas.
Today we are faced with a dilemma of the un-abidding politician. The crafty person who solicited your vote only to turn around and do everything ‘but’ what you voted them in to do. In fact, they do things which are against you and endangers you, your family…your community, city and state…because of some personal political agenda.
This agenda can easily be called ‘the undoing of America. Or a very evident attempt to do so on the parts of the Republican Party.
How in the world did America get to this place?
Can racism be the sole force for what is happening concerning Republican governors and their decisions to change state policies and connection to the larger and greater picture… called the ‘United States’ of America.
A friend posted a notice on my facebook page about the governor of Michigan’s plan to turn cities in Michigan over to what amounts to ‘corporate takeovers.’ By simply declaring a state of emergency and some type of financial woe over a Michigan township or city…and then allow the corporations to have power to determine the policies and contracts to those cities and/or towns at will.
The Republicans talk about government becoming too big. And perhaps it is.
In what country have you ever heard this?
Yes, perhaps government is too big. So big, in fact, that any given elected politician can turn on his or her own constituents and feel that they have the freedom to do so…simply because they were ‘voted in.’ Something is wrong with this picture. And it has nothing to do with our system of government… but more to do with deceit on the part of some voted in… and also upon our feelings of powerlessness once we have voted them in.
But in this country there is a thing called ‘impeachment.’ The people have power. Do not allow politicans to continue to wheel and deal as they like without you… the people taking up arms and going 
out against them. And when the time for elections come around again Republicans need to hear loud and clear that Americans all across this country will no longer suffer them, and their under-handed ways of trying to control and restrain the will of the people at large. Or their continued undermining of this country.
It seems that Republicans have declared that if they can’t run America they will tear it apart…state by state…section by section…. class by class… line by line and precept by precept. And in spite of all of our noses.
It is so amazing that after all that George Bush did…no matter how bad…or how many lies… or the number of lives lost in a highly senseless war that not only continues to take lives… which has also substantially 
driven up our gas prices… and the cost of everything else. Not to even mention Bush sending this country to near collapse…throwing America back into a depression with the collapse of the banks, Wall Street, the American dollar …and millions upon millions of jobs lost due to Bush Economics. And no governor in this country ever mentioned much less thought 
about not accepting any government funds in protest… or about going after unions… or any undermining of Bush policy in any way.
So, why now?
When this country was sent wheeling and plummeting due to Bush ’nomics… (lets just call it that) why did not any of these so-called ‘so fed-up’ with government spending and management of this country people …where were they then…who are now espousing that they are listening to the will of the people. Where were they during all of the Bush lies? Of which none of them even refer to in any shape or form or in any way whatsoever… even now. But yet rather lay the faults of such …and all that deceit of their own party upon the shoulders of President Barack 
Obama… the man who is now the White House and trying to rectify the messes of George Bush.
Yeah…right. Obama is to blame…and while you are at it just blame him for everything.
And with that make no mention of how Obama has managed to stabilized the whole Bush situation from the wars to our economy…and even jobs. Yes, jobs are back on the raise. All of this after the near total and absolute disastrous collapse of this country brought about by George Bush…a Republican. Who shut the doors to the White House and operated in the most close-door and tight lip operation of the White House of any President of this country in history.
This country is under attack and the attack is not coming from without.
Beware of the Trojan horse…it is called the Republican Party.

Let me just say what an out and out racist Donald Trump has proven himself to be with all his ridiculous chatter about Obama not being American …and that he had people down in Hawaii to prove it. Racists and bigots… hunting to destroy Obama…
There is clearly a plot to undermind the union known as the United States of America. And it is coming in the force of an entity known as the Republican party… Republican governors, senators, congressmen, mayors, business men and women… and media expoundants etc.
Though these people would be quick to say that they are not racists. Yet, their whole campaign and assult against Obama stems out of nothing more than out and out racism.
In Wisconsin the Governor is trying to rid the state of unions by going out after public employees…by weakening their ability to go to the bargaining table to negotiate their pay and other needs. This attack is nothing more than backlash at 
unions…blue collar workers… for their large support of the Democratic Party. And for being a mighty force that came together, as well as other groups, in aiding Obama to take the White House.
It is not that they… these Republicans cannot see that Obama is working to get America out from under the Bush mess. No, this they can clearly see… though they say otherwise… and desire to create an atmoshere of belief that he is not. It is their master plan. For Obama’s labors is just ‘what’ they fear.
Here it is… these political bigots are willing to block every initiative posed by Obama in order to 
make America a better and healthier place in the wake of that idiot George W. Bush…yet they want to block them. Not just 1 of them… but all of them. They desire to tear them apart… deflat them and try to defeat them. While they sit around trying to terrorize people about Obama’s initiatives… namely his direction and bills.
Imagine Republican governors setting up blockaides by stopping to take federal dollars that Obama has allocated to their states in order to bring the United States into the 21st Century. Monies set up to make our intrastructure better, more modernized and highly inproved. Such as high speed railroads.
Now, what could be wrong with that?
Nothing. But its a black man trying to do it. If Bush has sat around trying t
o do good instead of evil… and came up with the idea of updating our rail system… like Reagan came up with Star Wars. Wonder what happened to that… It was a ridiculous idea for one thing… but all those Republicans loved it. They stood up and applauded it… and supported that dumb idea.
Why do I say it was a dumb idea?
Because we know very little about space. And we have yet to conquer everythings here on earth first.

Much of the seas right here on earth have yet to be seen. Not to mention some months ago I read where they discovered some unknown tribe of people in South America. People who had never ever been introduced to the outside world. As they had never gone beyond the confines of the area they lived in. But those Republicans loved Reagan’s idea to spend all that money on something which today proves to have been nothing more than a waste of time.
Yet, there are Republican governors who are refusing to accept federal funds right now… based merely out of their own selfish desires to keep a black man from being effective and successful in his job as President of the United States.
And whether you care to believe it or not… this is the absolute… sole truth about the matter.
As dumb and as destructive as George Bush was for and to this country there was never 1 revolt or attack set up against him by any political group in this country. Nor did anybody every stand up or while sitting down ever yell out-
“Liar,” to him.
Bush was a man who brought this country nearly to its knees. Brought us into a senseless war… was the cause why our gas prices… food costs… medical needs… and every other expenditure in this country has escalated beyond our imaginations. Prices that people in forgeign countries had become used to… but never ever us.
And not 1 governor turned down anything from him… or came up in opposition against him as these dirty double-dealing Republicans have decided to now come up against Barack Obama.

How dare these men… and perhaps some women of the Republican Party decided that their racist attitudes mean more to them than the well-being of America.
How dare these voted into office individuals… decide that they will not stop at 
doing anything they can do in their vain little efforts to hold back the tide called… Barack Obama.
Have they not heard that what God has done let no man put assunder?
Their opposition comes not because Obama is a bad President. Or because Obama is a liar… unlike the last guy that held the office of President of the United States… and an out and out liar he was… and not 1 Republican came out against him. Nor are they raising up against Obama for any other reason than that they are a bunch of bigots.
People who are trying to deceive their consituents by lying. Telling their constituents that their opposition is against Obama because they don’t believe in the direction that he is taking America.
Here it is Obama has managed to begin the great American comeback after George Bush brought us into the worst financial period in American history… just shy… and I do mean just shy of the Great Depression… and the history books may come to say ‘the worst’ 1 day… if the truth really be told.
But thank God that before Bush could take us all the way down… the election period came up. And the timing could not have come quick enough to boot that crook out of the White House.
Now, here in Bush’s wake… Obama is starting to turn back the tide… and then here comes those dirty little Republican Party politicans.
Jobs are coming back and the economy is on the rise… And my… how they hate that.
There is now light shinning through at the end of the deep dark tunnel that the Bush Administration and the Republican Party sanked us into. And they want to block out that light.
Because it is the doing of a non-Republican… and especially… Oh, no… not a black
man!
We can’t allow him. If he does this… if he is successful you know what this will mean. We will be saddled by an onslaught of other black Presidents. They will prove that they are not stupid. And that they can manage things… and make decisions.
They will take over America.
It sounds like all that old southern rhetoric expounded by southern plantation owners opposing slavery. Proclaiming all kinds of stupid stuff… like their women would not be safe. Their children would not be safe. That their way of life… peacefulness… and everything else would be destoryed.
And so, the slaves were finally freed due to a war betweeen the then Union States… the South verus the North… the Civil War. Yes, it was not without struggle… or strife. Not 
without loss of lives. Yet, black people came up from slavery working and striving to destory the old stereotypes and ngative images propagateded by hate. And was meant as a means of keeping us down. 
Years of watching us on television and in news segments as being a people 
who were lesser than… lost people… and a people who could not get it right.
There is little wonder that throughout our history in this country… the most successful black people in this country were those in the entertainment business. And particularly those in the earlier years that managed to cross the color barriers, becoming popular among white audiences. They were those kind of black folks who didn’t mind being laughed at… and keeping those old stereotypes alive.
Jessters who made their money acting the way white people believed… or rather liked seeing us act… in ways demeaning to us as people. And they (those entertainers) did not mind selling us out …much like some of these little rappers and singers …and some comedians of today.
So, in walks a man name Barack Obama… and he comes in with a Michelle 
Obama… with little Malia and Sasha… and grandma. And they broke up tha
t stereotype, along with such talents as Diahann Carroll, who became TV’s Julia… and others.
No, they exploded it… those Obama’s. And hopefully never to come back again.
Years of lies hit the wall when the Obama’s hit the scene. Years of lies like… black men don’t do anything but beat their women.
Lies like… black men don’t take care of their children.
Lies like… their families don’t look like ours.
Like like… black folks are not smart. They can’t learn…and that they can never do nothing right.
I am going to end this here. Because I am getting mad.
Mad about what white racist people are trying to do against the man who is in the White House right now… who is trying to make this country better. And because he ‘is’ black they don’t want to see him do it.
And they were willing to tear apart this country… and bring us all… all the way
back to where Lincoln freed the slaves. And to reinstate a deep wedge pitted in the heart of America to do it.
And these Republicans are set to bring that wedge back… no matter what it takes. Because they desire to see the black man fail.
But the devil is a liar.
Do they not know that the more they try to do against Obama the greater God is going to make him?
He shall be successful. Because I understand how God operates. He loves oppposition. And the greater the opposition the greater God can show His hand.
Obama being where he is… is not of his doing. But of the will of God.
So, come on you bigots… you racists. Come on… come on.
This is of God’s doing.
It is very intersting… and especially that since this group of Republican governors meeting to discuss their efforts to attempt to block the success of Obama by refusing to accept goverment funds and blocking his health care bill from taing effect in their states… during this 
time… BLACK HISTORY MONTH.
Got up to about 2 inches more of snow this morning. So, yes… I had to get up and get out to shovel. But it was lite and not much. So, I didn’t even break a sweat. And didn’t sweat out my hair this time either.
I just got my hair done yesterday. And as I sweat in my head… 
shoveling is not the best thing for a freshly done hair-do.
Oh, well… Got to do what a girl has got to do…

Mind games…
After meeting up with the religious nut in the back of my parent’s yard… I strongly believe that people today are looking for some ray of hope… some divine saviour to remove all their woes and care away.

The man spoken about in the above news LINK… looks very much like the image we have all come to recognize as Jesus Christ. He walks around barefooted and in a robe. His hair is 
about the length of the hair we have all seen in those pictures and statues of the supposed Jesus. And he leads people to believe that he is Jesus… but he never discloses his true name.
They call him “What’s his name.”
They marvel at him and look upon with reverence… as if they truly believe that this man walking around trying to pretend in the most obvious ways that he is Jesus re-
born or something.
Well, going back to our neighbor in the house behind us. This man believes that he is Jesus too. Truly.
And not only does he believe it… but he tries to force the thought down my throat.
There is but 1 God. And clearly whether most people believe it or not only 1 Jesus Christ… who will eventually return. But he is not here yet.
I am not foolish enough to believe that the guy behind our house is the second coming. Who often tells me that God spoke to him and told me that he should come and rake or otherwise clean our yard. All this… while asking me to kiss him.
What kind of God would have me to do that?
Not the 1 that I know.
So, I do not entertain the man. Because I recognize that something clearly is wrong with him. And something is wrong with the guy in Hazelton, PA… who believes he can walk 
around in a robe, wear his hair down to his shoulder, while walking around barefooted , speaking in a soft voice while all the while pretending in some less than subtle kind of way that he is Jesus Christ.
It is a con job. And it comes at a time when many people are unsure about a lot of things… such as whether or not their house will be foreclosed on… how they will get the money to heat bill… or will their children be able to stay another semester in college… or whether or not they will be able to find another job.
In times of hardship, distress and unrest we all look for something. But it is not the time to reach out to 
people pretending to be something which they clearly are not. And could never be.
Perpetrators come in all sizes, shapes and forms. And 1 of the biggest type of perpetrators… even since
Biblical times have been those who wanted to pretend like they were and are holy… while seeking to do evil.
In the Appalachian Mountains of this country live some of the countries most tested people. People who have been used, abused and exploited for more than just capital gain. Made to 
drink and bathe in dirty contaminated water, while sucking in air full of cancerous and poisonous pollutants… in places that used to be so pristine, so pure and so clean.
Now, in walks this man… “What his name.”
On the political front I received a call from a friend of mine last night saying-
“What do you think about your President?”
I really didn’t at first know what she meant. But as she went on she expressed her disapproval of Obama caving in to the Republicans concerning the Bush tax cuts.
It seems she had been watching a lot of TV lately… following closely those debates where everybody sits around debating every turn or statement and action that Barack Obama does.
I told her that it seemed to me that there were a lot news shows lately that seemed totally dedicated to critiquing any and everything Obama did or said… especially every policy and word he utters. Yet, as dumb as George Bush was nobody sat around dissecting every little thing he did. And clearly somebody should have.
If we voted Obama in…then we should be willing enough to allow him to do his job without all of 
us standing over him with a whip. Or by allowing others to get us to try and second guess him… on everything.
Who can work like that?
Who wants to work like that?
Oh, ye of little faith. Politics is about making concessions. It is all about give and take. It is the first rule of lawyering and anything else where there are 2 opposing sides.
Without subcoming to part of what the Republicans wanted millions of poor people and out of work people would suffered otherwise while Republicans having a majority vote would still be able to push through whatever they want to.
I believe Obama to be shrewd and a strategic man. A man who makes no moves or plans without thoughtfully weighting them out fully and all their possible ramifications. With all of that being said…
“Let us all please let him do his job without all of us falling prey to what news media and so-called would-be experts would have us believe.”
As dumb as George W. Bush was… and as much of a liar he proved himself to be… he never suffered 
this much scrutiny and lack of confidence as is being levied against Obama. Or disrespect either. Far be it that a black man should succeed or prove to be successful in the office of the President of this country.
I am very sick of hearing… that Obama does not know what he is doing. It is very very easy to sit in a seat over in a corner or somewhere and say that.
Don’t fall for the lies… and fake analyses. They are only meant to belittle and berate him. And to make Obama appear ineffective and unknowing… and worst of all ill-informed. He’s bigger than that.
I’m looking forward to great things from what history will prove to be a great man… and perhaps our greatest President.
It has started snowing here. And it has been soooooo cold.
Today I stayed mostly in bed. But finally I started feeling guilty. So, I got up and started stirring about.
I have got a ton of boxes laying about. I am trying to clear up the house a bit. I figure if I do a little a day I might just get it all done. So, I am working on it.
Forgot to mention that last Saturday… are you ready for this?
Last Saturday I got my first royalty check for my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE. Can’t believe it. Wasn’t much… but it is just the idea that somebody read… or is reading my book. I really hope to get some feedback on it if you are 1 of them. Thanks so much.
And I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was great… filled with lots of family, friends and food.
And I do note the passing of Elizabeth Edwards who loss her battle against cancer just a couple of days ago. There is 1 thing about strong women they never let anything take them down. Not heartache or disappointment… or even sickness.

Racism in America is alive and well… and growing… Beck in the dog house…
Who in the world is Glen Beck?
I had never heard of him before until coming across this internet article on him during his radio program imitating the President’s daughter.
Upon listening to the radio program in question…as it is included in the article… all I could think of was the black face comic skits that white people 
used to do of black people. They would mimmick 
our voices making us sound as dumb and as ignorant as possible…while having covered their faces with some kind of black oily face paint. And then they would paint on their faces some excessively big lips.
All of this they did in stupid attempts at making fun of not only how we talk, pretending to think and reason like us aloud…and, of course, supposedly depicting what our facial features look like. It was all done to belittle us as a group of people, and also to make Black folks feel unequal, backwards and ignorant people. All of which was and is a lie…then and now.
The fact that Barack Obama may well be the most intelligent man to hit the White House… which maybe the root to this whole problem.
The 2nd problem for some of these back in the Dark Ages back woods ignorant racists…is that President Obama may also prove to be a 
greater President than Franklin Dalano Roosevelt. Oh, no… that can’t possibly happen. But based upon the set-up left behind by George W. Bush it could become true.
Roosevelt’s fame as a President came from the mess he stepped into as a President. Stepping into the White House following Herbert Hoover, a
Republican and the 31st President of the United States…he sank the country into one big mess. Therefore, Roosevelt inherited an United States that was suffering. The Stock Market had crashed and dire poverty covered the land from coast to coast due to the Great Depression.

Roosevelt was the creator of ‘The New Deal.’ With the New Deal Roosevelt ushered in a new America…a reformed America and a series of new social programs designed to aid and assist the needy, and to strengthen and mobilize America back onto the road of recovery.
Often we have heard that history repeats itself. If this is indeed so…many then can see where President Barack Obama is set on the path to do for America what Roosevelt did for America some 78 years ago.
There is no doubt also that America when Barack Obama was elected in as 
the President of the United States a year ago, had been left in a questionable place and a time of vast uncertainty and downcline around the world. Allies around the world questioned our stability, truthfulness and fortitude as a still world leader after years of rule under the moral degradation and lies of George W. Bush as President of America.
Obama inherited a crashing Stock Market, a collapsing World Banking system, a
rapidly dwindling American dollar, skyrocketing fuel and gas prices, the highest ever in America… record numbers of out of work Americans, soaring health and medical costs with record numbers of Americans without any form of health care policies, corrupt leaning and borrowing systems, with record numbers of Americans being forced into 
the streets due to foreclosures, and soaring out of control country financial deficit fueled by 2 wars without a seemingly end…and much more. All of which had happend under the 8 years of administration and rule of George
W. Bush. And also under the Bush Administration, America for the 2nd time in her history was attack on her own soil…September 11th, known as 9-11. Where thereafter all kinds of other attempts, boomings and plagues came about.
If you examine the mess that Obama inherited including those things which generally come up during the term of a President… such as the BP oil spill in the Gulf…and when Russia decided to
invade Georgia, in the Baltics… you find that Presidents have to deal with all kinds of things…including unforseen natural disasters. But it doesn’t make it their fault. Though much of what happened under George Bush’s watch was.
Now, I am going to vent.
I am so tired of reading all these articles where people refer to our President Barack Obama using a small ‘p.’ It is so annoying to me. I 
absolutely hate reading anything about him written this way. It is so disrespectful to Obama.
I know that Obama being the man that he is pretends that it does not bother him…but he is an intelligent man, a historian and a man of letters. Meaning he has read all kinds of documents and 
articles past and present on all past Presidents of the United States, as it was for 1 thing…his field of study. And I am sure he has also noticed that at no other time has any other President of this country ever been 
referred to in any form of text using a lower case ‘p’ as has become the practice when writing articles about Obama.
Thus, to do so when referring to Obama is not only disrespectful but an act of racism. An act of out and out racism and I do not care what anyone else says. And it is all a campaign purposefully set to down grade and minimize Obama, his efforts, his effectiveness and his success.
But I want to let you know… every last one of you that it won’t work. Just like they say in that gospel song…it just won’t work.
Obama is going to be great in spite of you.
And he is going to be as successful…if not more successful than Roosevelt. And that if for no other reason than because some many racists want to see him fail…with Palin and that whole Republican machine riding in the front car.
But the Bible says…that he whom the Lord has blessed is blessed indeed.
And Obama is blessed…his family is blessed…his children are blessed…and this country shall be blessed because of him. 
If anyone has any doubts about whether Barack Obama is blessed just go back and look at those photos of his inaugural. Look at all those people who flowed into Washington, D.C. to celebrate with him and his family. And check all his record numbers…record number in the amount of money contributed to his campaign…the most money ever give
n to any political campaign ever. Record number in contributions from people who have never 
contributed to a politician ever. Highest number of voter turn out ever. And the numbers continue on and on in regard to Obama’s accomplishments.
He shall be like Solomon because God has set 
his course for him over this nation. And if you doubt it go back to his mother, and how she used to 
wake him up at 4 AM in the morning to go over and learn American History. Obama’s path was laid for him long before Obama was born.
Therefore, as it is said in the Scriptures…no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Meaning all the evil works being performed against him will come to nought. Every vote 
meant to hold him back and hinder a bill that he is trying to put through will be turned around, and go against those who are trying to oppose him and stop his progress…or hold up his candidates for offices.
Another Scripture says this…that what the devil means for evil God will turn it around for your good. Meaning the all the name calling, opposition and hindering in Congress and the Senate will be turned around for Obama’s good. Already I can see this happening in that Obama is becoming a lot sharper and more posed when attacks come against him publically. He is definitely far more Presidential now, and I am sure he would have more of a targeted response for anyone who should suddenly decide it smart to call him ‘liar’ again while he is speaking before the Senate. I have no doubt of it.
I am proud of Obama and I know that he is no joke. And he is not going to continue to allow people to treat him as one.
And as far as this Beck person goes… Well, I just hope that he has no children. I cannot 
imagine what he would do if someone so cruelly and purposely poked fun at his little daughter…and made a joke out of her.
I also hope that none of the children in Obama’s daughter class have heard that stupid radio clip. What an ignorant thing to do. And these people call themselves adults…but are too afraid stand up in front of Obama and say what they have to say.
No, they’ll do it from behind a microphone…and then issue out an apology from somewhere. A bunch of cowards. That is all they are…a bunch of racist ignorant cowards.
But then I guess I can kind of understand why some should be jealous 
of Obama. I mean after all…not only is he a great husband… but also a very loving and caring father. He is also handsome…and looks well in everything he wears. He’s smart…tall…and doesn’t have a problem with his weight. He’s athletic…and he has a beautiful and highly intelligent wife. And 2 very beautiful and intelligent…and very well behaved daughters. And oh, yeah…also an important part… a mother-in-law who loves him as well.
So, yes he is well on his way to be the most powerful and successful President of this country of all times…who will be spoken of and the measure that those who follow him shall be measured by. Of this I am sure.
So, yes…you who want to see Obama fail…I can see why. But instead of 
attacking Obama you should start working on your own life…and get it in order so that you too will have something to be proud of . Because I can tell you are a bunch of very sad and lonely people…and highly disappointed people… out attacking a little girl?
Come on, now. And you call yourself a man, Beck?
Go stand in front of Obama and mimmick his daughter…and I want to see what happens to you. I bet you are afraid to do that.
And is it true that BP stands for British Petroleum?
And is it also true that Halliburton, Dick Cheney’s former employer and big time war profiteer and scam artist… is over the operation of BP in the Gulf ?

Could possibly be a set-up?
Anything to make Obama look bad. With all the talk and Obama blaming you would think that Obama owned BP. And that he could automatically go down and just plug up a hole nearly 5,000 feet below the water surface…leaking over 5,000 barrels of oil each day.
It is not a pin hole. And the problem really belongs to BP…without a doubt it is a major concern to not only President Obama and those people down in the Gulf/Atlantic Ocean area. And probably might affect us all…but it is clearly a concern of Obama’s youngest 
daughter just as well. We can all tell that she is well briefed…and is growing up quite civic minded.
And we should all have a sincere appreciation for all children who cares about others…not make a joke or poke fun at them for any reason.
Monday is Memorial Day. We 
should all take a moment or 2 to reflect on the sacrifices of others, that we might all live here free and out of harms way. Thankful for all the freedoms we hold so dear…never forgetting the price paid and being paid so that we might stand in our liberty here in the United States.
I hadn’t thought about it for a while… but I had all but forgotten about the war. Since stopping even turning on the television to watch the news… so those images are no longer before me. It sadden me reading the list of names per week of young men and women who were killed in Iraq. Many of them just 19. And every so often you would see a name with an age of 
28…or 29 and above…and I would think of all their families that they left behind giving of their lives for an America not yet quite grown up.
While they huddled together with bullets flying over heads… or booms dropping nearby… or 
right in their midst… yet they marched on… fought on… for an America not yet totally grown up. A place where division and strife still lives on …while they struggle in foreign lands that we might proclaim peace …while we yet still pull against 
one another.
I salute them and pray that one day this country will live up to what was the dream and the creed to which those men who signed their names…signed their names… to which they all marched off to war and became involved for… those soldier who fought and died in our name.

Roy Blunt and his monkey comments…racism… and the 21st America…
This morning while listening to a morning local talk show the topic centered around Senator Roy 
Blunt calling Obama an monkey.
Roy Blunt, in an address before a group called…Valued Voter’s Summit, began his address by saying-
“…that clearly this is a time when our values are being challenged.”
Just what did he mean by that…I wonder?
That America is no longer an oasis of white supremacy any more… or something…any more since voting a black President?
Was that what he was eluding to?
I thought one used to say that about Europe. Or so many thought…I suppose.
Blunt then went on to talk about a golf course that had been built within the jungle of India. Saying that something happened that they did not anticipate after their golf course was built. 
And that is that when golf balls were hit the monkeys would come running out of the jungle onto the golf course and grab up the balls.
At the end of Blunt’s message he stated that the officials of the golf course put forth a ruling saying-
“You have to play the ball wherever the monkey throws it.”
Where he then stated-
“And that is pretty much what we have to do in Washington.”
Blunt then went on to say that-
“You know the world is turned up-side down when Al Franken and Tom Delay is on dancing with the stars. That’s how you know that the world has changed in ways that you would have never have anticipated.”
Blunt fell just short of saying-
“And a black man is in the White House as President.”
Then…
“That’s how you know that the world has changed in ways that you would have never have anticipated.”
In listening to the talk show, which I of course had to call in to…to offer my own opionion on the subject as the issue centered around whether or not Blunt’s comments had been racist?
Any thinking person would have to say, “Yes.”
But the problem as I pointed out to the host of the program was this…
Many white people say and do things which they simply do not consider to be racist, but they are. Or least ways…they ‘claim’ that they do not take what they said was racist. Though secretly they knew that it was…but they state otherwise.
Then the other side of the coin is this…
When you as a black person…or non-whitle points that whatever was said or done was racist… then the whole thing gets turned around. And you become the racist for having said that they were being racist.
But even if a person said something offensive to another…does not mean that it was any less offensive simply because someone says-
“Oh, I didn’t know.”
Which is really not the case…many of the times. Most people know exactly what they are saying. And say it for the purpose of twisting a knief in you…if their words are cutting or hurtful in nature.
It is kind like playing that ‘liberal card,’ which the Republicans have become not only famous for doing so, but quite well versed at doing also. Whenever someone who the Republicans do not like says or does something positive for the p0or or under-served people of this country…the 
Republicans quickly flash the ‘liberal card’ upon them.
They were quite effective at doing it during the Bush/Kerry run to the White House. Every time Kerry opened his mouth to say something, the Republicans rebuked him by calling him ‘liberal’…which became a dreaded word…and particiularly it seemed for John Kerry. He would start stuttering and get lost…loosing himself in what to say next. Which is why it worked so very well against him. He always backed up from it.

That was the one thing about Ted Kennedy, being called a ‘liberal’ was something which did not bother him…nor did he let it stop him from speaking up. Because in the end…that is all it came down to. The Republicans using the word ‘liberal’ to scare off Democratic too weak to stand up.
And that is the good thing about Barack Obama too. He is not afraid to be called ‘liberal.’ Which is the tag that Republicans give to anyone who tries to do anything to aid, help or otherwise assist what the Republicans deem as the ‘under class.’
The problem that I see coming for the 21st Century America will not be one of class but one of race. The issue of race has always been and continues to be an issue which most Americans do 
not seriously want to address. But it is an issue which has fluctuated through the years in terms of its intensity…overtly and conversely.
It is an issue which has longed been put on the back burner as America has always tried to hide the fact that she has such a problem…as a race problem. But it got its start drenched in the blood and heartache of slavery, from the point when the first Dutch slave ships hit this country in 1619…then peaked during the 1960′s during the Civil Rights 
movement after years of being surpressed. And now againt it is rearing its ugly head…ever since the day that America elected her first non-white male to 
sit in the Oval Office on Capitol Hill, in Washington, D.C., as President of the United States.
The issue of black vs white in this has had it lows and highs in this country. For periods this issue has seem dormant. But not so at all…not in reality. It is just that during those times there were rushes to calm things down, cover them up, keep them out the eye of the public, or quietly try to erase the events as being racially motivated at all. But they were.
Case in point…it took place in an area of Texas…in Jasper, TX, 1998: 2 white young males took a black man, James Byrd III, who was walking a country road 
on his way back home from wedding, they beat him then chained to the back of their pick-up truck and dragged him to his death tearing apart his body…and this was just a few years ago.
It would have been something you might have expected to hear about happening in some other country but never in America. But no…
It happened here… in America.
And we all sat beside the television trying to get every bit of information on the story…while 
trying to figure out-
“What could have caused or motivated such a thing to happen?”
Racism did.
Hatred did.
And though that small Texas town that had a history of racial incidents…many sited as ‘isolated incidents’…something that had never happened before. But the truth of the matter is…is that America these ‘isolated little incidents’ for years…and not only the south.
These so-called ‘isolated incidents’ have continued 
throughout the history of America, such evil that many of them are hard to imagine. Events whose roots got started back during the slavery of black folks in this country…or perhaps even as early as the early settlers and Native Indian relationships. But slavery was a time when black people in this country were considered to be cattle…when white slave owners routinely killed and made examples of them…by chopping off a hand or foot…or beating slavagely for the benefit of the other slaves who might try to run away or whateverl else have you.

Not to mention that following slavery in this country, black men and a few women were often found hanging from trees in the south after having first been beaten by mobs of white men, who then tarred and feathered black folks, and then set them on fire and hung them. Whom they left hanging…also as examples to other blacks that lived in their communities as to what they could do to them also. And this they did at will…and without fear of retribution.
So, yes the treatment of President Obama, the first black man, out 43 white men prior to him…and never having suffer the blatent and tireless attacks and disrespect shown to the first African American President of this country. Yes, treatment of him is a concern to most black folks. And yes…it certainly brings back a lot of old past memories of the ill and segregrated…Jim Crow treatment that black people lived under…and the lack of full acceptance or respect of Black people throughout the history of America.
Just the other day, I happened to called a older senior woman who I occasional call once in a 
while just to see how she is doing. Before our conversation even got going the woman said to me-
“And you see how they are treating Obama?”
I never even knew the woman payed attention to politics. 
But I could hear the rage in her voice as she asked me question.
I knew quite well what she was talking about. She was highly enraged over it…and insulted that anyone had dared to call him a liar…being the President of the United States. And she clearly understand…90 something woman that she was in age…that the only reason that anyone had dared to do that was because he was a black man…as she well pointed that out me in her anger. And she didn’t like it…and I have to say neither did I…nor any of the other black folk that know either.
We don’t like it.
If you have lived through certain things…you never forget them. Just as the Holocust victims will never ever forget the Holocaust. Because they survived it…but that time…what they saw…felt…and the loses that they incurred left indeliable images and memories in their minds and hearts. So, too…our history in this country….which is as much ours as anyone else’s. Particularly since we played a major role in building this country…and most of the inventions that have come out of it.
An attack on Obama is an attack against us. And that is how we view it.
It is like how we viewed what the officials of the Miss America contest did some years ago to 
Vannessa Williams, in 1984. When she became the first black woman ever be chosen in the history of Miss American to become Miss America. Then some days later…maybe 2…there was a big scadal in which the Miss America people took the crown from Vanessa. And black folks just were not having that. There was outrage all across the black communities everywhere in America. I personally have never ever really watched that show since. It climaxed and ended for me with Vanessa Williams.
The scadal came about over some pictures, and black people decared that the Miss America had 
taken Vanessa’s crown based solely upon racism, as they had never at that point taken a crown from any other woman whom they had crown. Not only did black folk get enraged over the matter…they also went out and bought up every magazine that had those crazy pictures in them off every bookstore shelf. Because that is what black people do. Whenever someone gives us reason to be proud…and others try to destroy that pride…we back our people.
It is not something that we do often…but when we do…we do. And we all felt about Vanessa as well feel about Barack Obama and his family.
Today, Vanessa Williams has gone on to become the most famous and most beautiful…as well as,
most recognized winner that the Miss America contest ever had…for which they can take no credit unfortunately for them. Vanessa managed to raise above that event…like Obama, I have no doubt, will continue to raise against the name-calling, veiled threats and statements, ladent bigotry and racist jokes etc… of all those who seek to characterize him as a monkey, critize his judgement, education and birth-right to be President of this country.
Love the show Vanessa. You have got that diva stuff down pact. You can catch her on “Ugly Betty” weeknights…if you don’t know. And my…can she work a red carpet.
Going back to that radio talk show and Blunt’s remarks…the issue is…is that everything someone 
white begins to talk about monkeys…fried chicken…or watermelon…they are usually referring to African Americans. And whenever they begin to talk about black people tossing in something about monkeys…or fried chicken…or watermelons…it is their intent to insult black folks. Though most of the time they will deny it. But the use of referring to black people as monkeys…or as chicken eating…or watermelon eating whatevers comes through history as things white people have used…besides…the “N” word…to degrade and demean them.
So, yes…Blunt’s remarks about monkeys then referring back to Washington clearly was an intent on his part to directly call Barack Obama a monkey. Therefore, yes…his remarks were quite 
racist. And judging by the amount of applause and laughter in the room they all got the joke and were in agreement with him. Which clearly shows that racism is very much alive and well in America…and that it is okay to continue to insult and defame black folks no matter who they are or whatever their accomplishments.
So, America is very much in trouble. And folks like the ex-President Jimmy Carter clearly see this.
As Carter points out above, the attacks upon President Obama are rooted in racism. It is a clear 
signals that this country is in deep trouble. And this thing can become exceedingly dangerous. A time boom…in fact.
Therein lays the problem. They can’t see it. Though they continue in their racist ways…acting out at will…and refuse to call their actions what they truly are. But are quick to call you racist for pointing it out to them. Then go into the back rooms slapping each other on the back and laughing over it. It is what racist do.
It is kind of a game to them. The kind of game that they play in law…since most politicans were lawyers before entering into politics. And that game goes like this…you make the guilty party seem like the injured party.
Thus, you flip the script. And that is what the racists politicans in this country are doing…they flip the script on whoever turns around to call their statements or remarks racist. Saying that “they”…the people…or whoever… calling them out for their remarks… that “they” are the racist ones.
Or they say it was a ‘miss statement’…not intended the way it sounded.
It is all a game. But a highly dangerous game.
This country is just a stone’s throw from another outbreak of race riots. There have been many events that have already started to ignite the same kind of fire that took place in the 1960′s which brought about several riots and burnings of many large cities around America.
One major event has taken place was Katrina, and the way the government under Bush and Fema failed to act in any way for several days to save the lives and property of the people of New Orleans. Then the treated of the mostly black victims of Hurricane Katrin has left a bad taste in many black people mouths. Where many people died un-necessarily. And those who managed to survive the hurrican lost their homes and everything that they owned otherwise…many children torn from their parents…and so many people were displaced and still are today.
Another major event in this country to have taken place which has also impacted a lot of black people and other group of poor people in this country, as well…and this is the economy, foreclosures…and a sense of helplessness and for many hopelessness they are feeling. Upon which…when Obama was voted in as President of this country…presented a ray of hope for them all that they all were in dire need of…both black and white over their current set circumstances which had been brought the Republicans under the poor economics of George Bush. And compounded by the Iraqi War.
But the continued belittling and underminding of President Obama may very well give license to 
someone to attempt to take Obama’s life…and there have been calls for it.
But if that were to happen…those politicians laughing and joking now…slapping each other on the back now and thinking that they are 
smart…would soon find themselves in something that they had not considered. And it would and will be bigger than anything that happened when Martin L. King, Jr. was killed.
The times have changed drastically. And they are far more deadly.
Fire hose and police dogs won’t be able to contain what will be unleased if race war were to start in this country. And clearly these ignorant Republican politicians have no idea the type of fir
e that they are playing with.
It is definitely not a joke. And those stupid politicians who think this thing is a joke really shouldconsider their actions…because this country has years of pent up hatred just waiting to spill over.
And they are pushing the envelop…and messing with flood gates.
Oh…and by the way before it gets mis-understood I do not think the above video is funny. But it goes to prove that the people in this country do not respect our President the rest of the world won’t either. Which would really be rather hard to do…since Obama is controll of what other countries want. But many want other countries to not respect Obama…it all part of their game of trying to under-mind him.

Rooting out a scandal…ACORN under investigation… Raccoon problem2…
Who in the world is ACORN?
Well, first of all ACORN is an acronym which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Hence…Acorn. It is an organization which advocates for poor people.

But what I did not understand was…
What was all the secrecy about some supposed cover-up scadal?
And why were certain news organization declaring-
“An Acorn cover-up.”
And who was covering up what?
And for what reason?
I had read some of this article below…and began wondering why…what scandal…and why was some organization named ‘Acorn’…in danger of of losing its funding?

So, of course, I had to put on my old Sherlock Holmes hat and begin sniffing about.
To answer my first question….who was Acorn?
During the 2008 Presidential Election a community based organization whose home head-quarters in New Orleans, LA…Acorn came into the spotlight as Republicans began to cry foul…if you can imagine that. It is kind of like the pot calling the kettle ‘black’…if you get my drift.
Well, they called ‘foul’ because Acorn…which had opened up numerous offices around the United States…began organizing and registering voters on Obama’s behalf.
Following the Primaries the Republicans started accusing Acorn at that time of using false and fraudulent tactics as alleging that Acorn was registering dead people…etc..etc. And primarily these charges stemmed from actions in Florida.
Because Florida and Michigan chose to break a rule set up the Democratic Committee that no state should hold a primary before a specific date…which both the State of Florida and Michigan ignored. So, they therefore lost the right to participate in the Democratic Primary Presidential Election…the race between Obama and Hillary Clinton.
But within states around the country a group emerged called Acorn which 
began organizing the urban communities…gearing them up for the final showdown. The day in which Americans would entered into their ballot booths to cast their votes for who would become the President of this country for the next 4 years…of which Barack Obama won solidly over Bush.
Part 2 of my question…about Acorn and the questions surrounding its organization…and their current problems.
But it was during the days leading up the ballot day that a little known organization called Acorn began popping up in the news, as the Republicans began slinging shots…and trying to throw whatever punches they could at the Obama campagin.

This controversy about Acorn has been brewing for quite some time now. And of course, with Obama sweeping Nevanda, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Ohio, Virgina…and Florida… could the contention and rage over his win get any greater?
The Republicans have only been trying to discredit Obama in any 
matter and way they can…as proven by Joe Wilson’s rude outburst, which I wrote about in blog on civility. From trying to cliam that Obama is not legally an American citizen…to trying to disregard Hawai as being an offical state of this country (being the 
birthplace of Obama)…to trying to rig and provide false papers which they claim to be Obama’s African birth certificate. What they call…‘his real birth certificate.’
For years in this country black folks birth certificates have been messed with. From writing down things properly…to not properly recording them…to not properly keep up with our records. 
My birth name was messed up so bad…that my parents had to legally amend my birth certicate with a change of name shortly after my birth. Not to mention that my grand-mother went to her grave not knowing her correct birth date…as is the case with our Aunt Kate, who is still very much alive today. I suspect that if she were to seek public office in this country…she would have a real problem. Even though she was unquestionably born and raised here in America. But racist practices in properly documenting black folk in the existed then…and still do.
And such allegation concerning the legitimacy of Obama to President of this country…comes from a group of people who out and out st
ole the 2004 Presidential Election right out from under Al Gore, the Democratic opponent of George W. Bush. And it had been done illegally… bogusly… and without fear of any pentalty. They just did it…didn’t care who saw…who knew…or who didn’t know. And all of America knew…it was not hard to miss.
It had been the most outragous campaign of all times…and of any 
country. Which is why George W. Bush will certainly go down in history as a big fat question mark…for having been the most illegitimate President that the United States of America has ever had.
And what a joke that election was. What a farce. And for the first time in American History…as we know it…an illegitimate cadidate took possession of this country’s White House and made a mockery of our entire political system…and country.
And not only that…but sunk this country into the lowest levels of political integrity…moral standing…and financial lossess…coupled by a fraudulent war which he conjured up. A war which
has cost this country vast resources, lives…and a waste of our political time and efforts. A war that unleashed centuries of stored up hatred and antimosities…religious strife…and massive unrest in the Middle East.

During the 2004 it was widely known that the Republicans rigged the election…and hindered people in urbans from casting their votes. 
They had various voting locations declare some legitimate voters as being dead…and others as ex-convicts in order to stop them from voting…as well as, other such tricks. Such as, having voters stand for 
prolong periods of time out in the rain…provided urban areas with broken ballot machines…had women leave their pocketbooks outside…slowed up the balloting process that long lines gathered etc… All to deter voters for the Democratic Party. Not to mention the rigging of ballots…mis-counting of ballots…loosing and all those other in-side jobs which they easily arranged. …hinged ballots…
And this country sends people out to monitor the balloting procedures of other countries?
Going back to Acorn…having been under the fire for some time now…evidently their efforts were effective. The did manage to register some 1.3 million new voters. All the more reason why the other party would want to do away with them.
It kind of reminds me of when this country decided un the stern and 
ambiguous eye of the then House Leader, Newt Gingrich…who felt that the National Endowment of the Arts grants were to liberal in their giving out of funds. So, he moved to act 
upon limiting those funds from being given out to individuals…but to people like himself…and organization etc. Today, you hardly hear much about those funds…though they still are given out but in a very different way and under far different circumstances.
Today, when you hear this guy talk…he sounds more like a summer breeze…as opposed to that typhoon he used to be. I suspect that being taken down a notch or 2 can do that to you.
Now, definitely going back to Acorn.
It seems that some videographer enter into a couple of their offices for some reason or other. This videographer along with a women…that he or she brought with them. Supposedly, during these meetings the videograper was given by a worker…or workers at the organization (Acorn office)…to become not-for-profit and open up their own brothel…or in other words whore house…prostitution den.
Which if it is true…it would not reflect back on Obama…as he is not really tied to that organization other than it assisted in getting out the vote…which many other people also did too…and I was one of them.
However, in any office…supposed office…or business…or supposed busines you are subject to fall upon some type of illegal activity. Which does not necessarily mean that those in management or corporate heads know anything about. You can, in fact, find out about how to do all kinds of things while sitting in your workplace…including how to cheat on your husband or wife. There are crooket…and bad people everywhere. And they usually know right where to go…to run whatever game they are trying to run.
Recently, in my town they closed down a couple of used car dealerships…neither of which I believe had anything to do Obama…or his being elected President. But one was closed for selling drugs and using the dealership as front. And the other…I guess you could say they were in the money laundrying business…using their used cars to thash cash.
I suspect that if the Republicans could tie Obama to either of them…they would. And heavens forbide if somehow they could make a connect to both of them…and Obama.
I hope Obama didn’t happen to buy a car at either of those 2 dealerships. You know…like he bought his house. That was tied to some other alleged criminal.

Part of the problem is…is that the Republicans will not stop at nothing to get their candidates in. Nothing to taboo for them. They play a 
political anything goes game in order to win. They cross state lines…double and triple voting wherever they can. During the primaries they sign up as Indedpendants seek ing to swing elections towards cadidates that are weak and more favorable to them…in order to fix elections by giving their real cadidate of choice (a Republican) in the overall election a upper hand.
I have no doubt..that they have and continue to put people into place to do their will. People who operate as fake agents …or workers (if you will)…pertending to the opposite side. When in fact…they were plants (Republican plants)… who went under-cover…crossed over to the other side…to do fraudulent work…create false documents…and to put bogus names onto lists.
Hence, the real scandal…and the real cover-up.
Then the Republicans come around as they always do…wanting to look innocent…and appearing to be the squeaky clean whistle blowers. Crying ‘foul’…‘foul.’ When in fact…it is them who are the foul ones.
It is interest the way that the Republicans always seemed to know exactly what the problems are…and where they lay.
Why?
Because they put certain people into place to purposely cause the problems and issues…which they later turn around and begin pointing out as being fraudulent. These type of games are old…and go way back in history…where many of these very schemes were first hatched…by other other political crooks.
It is such a shame that such a group operates in this country…who are clearly anti-American when they indulge in such under-handed behavior…and deceitful practices.
Recently, Acorn has requested an independant investigation into the actions of some of their employees. The Senate to block the Housing and Urban Development from giving grants to Acorn, along with the U.S. Census Bureau had dropped Acorn and its involvement in the 2010 national census. And of course under these last allegation of being a training ground for how to own and operate your own brothel…the White House has been forced to also move away from Acorn.
I barely got any sleep last night.
Well, for one thing…I love my hair style so much that I am refusing to mess it up. Which means I have been trying to stay on my elbows since Saturday when I initially got the hair style.
And then the other reason is…is…
Well, those raccoons are back. Not that they ever left…as I have yet to have the money to seal up the roof. So, they are living in our attic.
But last night after getting in I stepped back out on the porch…and that is when I heard a noise. I thought it was pesty neighborhood cat…which sometimes sits upon our porch waiting on my neice’s cat to come out.
So, I picked up the water hose and sprayed some water over in the direction of the noice. And saw the thing move…and that is when I happened to catch a glimsp at what appeared to be 2 white circles around it’s eyes.
Not certain I went back into the house and got my flash light. I opened the screen-door and shot the light over into the far corner of my parent’s porch and there it was. Yes…a raccoon.
It seemed to be trying to hide. And appeared to indecisive.
So, I tried to talk it out of corner and off the porch…while I quickly punched in a call to our local police station. As I talked on my cell…the raccoon quietly left the porch. It seemed timid…mayold…possibly frighten. And I felt bad for her…or him…or whatever it was.
But they have got to go. The thing was huge…and I am not exegerating. I was at least a foot and half long…not including it’s big and long tail. And it was about a foot high in width.
No, that has got to go. No matter how bad I feel for it. I just don’t want them hurt. But I have got to get them out of our house and away from
our home. I have far too many young neices and nephews. And I would hate to see anything happen to any of them because I sat around doing nothing about our raccoon problem.
So, today I walked around the outside of our house checking to see exactly where it is that they are entering into and out of our property. It is via our roof. Some rotting has taken place along various portions of our roof. And as I walked around examing our weather beaten root… I was calling upon the name of Jesus.
Because those raccoons have got to go.

One thing I can say though…my neice’s cat is no fool.
The raccoon which had gotten into kitchen…when I initally realized we had a problem…she chased out that raccoon…and up the stairs back into the attic. But this raccoon…was much bigger than her. Though she did go out on the porch…she never approached that corner…and got low to the ground the whole time she was out there. And my neices cat is usually no joke…she is a real killer.
She must have been able to tell that that raccoon was a big one.
But I am going to have a talk with that…because she can’t be punking out on me.
And after I laid down and thought about…since I could not fall asleep. The thought came to me…that with all the hermones and everything else put into our food…it is little wonder that that raccoon was so big. She and others like her wander around the neighborhoods at night searching for scrapes to feed upon.
And if the chemical put into food…in order to make it grown 
bigger…get fatter…effects our bodies…and that of our children the way that it does. Then what about whatever else that feeds upon anything that we eat?
I can everything becoming super-sized. And I am not kidding.
You would have had to seen the size of that raccoon.
We all need to consider what it is that we are doing to this planet…our food…produce…water ways etc… And these animals are also being impacted by our lack of good judgement.
That thing was huge.
Oh, I know that some people believe they can escape to another planet. But I have always been told-
“That 1 bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.”
Just saw the below picture and just could not resist adding it. It is so beautiful. Put you in mind of what we are in store for next…by way of weather. I don’t know where you are…but it is cold here already.

Civility vs plain old dis-respect…
Rep. Joe Wilson having shouted out ‘liar’ during Obama’s speech to Congress outlining his health care reform plan…was it a question of civility or just plain old dis-respect?
I say…dis-respect.

Who has ever dared to do such a thing?
Who has ever dis-respected a sitting President of the United States in such a way?
A man…a southern politician calling the President of the United States a ‘liar’ to 
his face…and during a televised open Congressional session…and right in the middle of the President’s speech…as he was delivering his speech…what could be more dis-respectful?
And perhaps racist as well…considering the fact that the President in question for the first time in the history of this country…is a black man.
How can anyone stand anywhere…or sit somewhere…and call Barack Obama a ‘liar’ after this country having suffered nothing but one lie after another by George Bush and his Administration. These lies continued from the very moment that the Republicans stole the 2000 Presidential Election that ushered George Bush into the White House in the first place.
Little wonder Congressman Wilson, Republican from South Carolina, is starting to feel the heat as he faces in 9 months possible re-election…or defeat.
Hopefully, the good people of the state of South Carolina will bring to an 
end the political career of such a foolish man as Joe Wilson who currently represents them.
It seems that when the person is black or some other supposed minority what is said…when…and how…it is okay. Yet, no matter what has been said or done by others…specifically…Republican…and/or white… Well, now there is a problem…and the challenges of outrage come.

I really can’t stand Rush Limbach…he claims that ‘this administration is 
trying to tear down and destroy every institution of the country.’ What great insite Rush’s part. Too bad, however, Rush never had that kind of insite concerning anything that George Bush or his Administration did.
For the first President of this country to be publically heckled by anyone in 
Congress…and having done so to the first black President of this country…how could that be considered anything but racist?
And it was racist…and not just some gut reaction.
And then to be called a liar for a point…which clearly Joe Wilson must have read either while drunk…or while reading over Obama’s plan of 
health care reform without having his glasses on. Either way Joe Wilson seemed to be very much ill informed. Since Obama’s plan clearly states-
“No government coverage payments for undocumented alliens.”
Don’t you just love those people who call you ‘liar’…who are in fact the ‘liar’…and not you?
Such things infuriate me. It has happened to me. And there is nothing I dislike more than being called a ‘liar.’ Particularly since I really dislike liars with a passion. And no one can call you a ‘liar’ quicker than a real liar…and this is a true and undenial fact.
Personally, I think Mr. Wilson should be shown the door and told not to come back…a public apology before Congress is simply not enough.

Even President Carter agrees that much of the oppossition against President Barack Obama is based upon attitudes of plain old racism. There can be no doubt about it in that such strong opposition never ever came up against George Bush even after time
and time again he was proven to be liar. And it did happen time and time again…none stop.
But Bush was white…and clearly not the smartest person in the world…nor nearly as articulate as Barack Obama…and certainly a liar…a known liar. Yet, Obama does not half the respect…as was unequivocally displayed by the behavior of of the Republican from South Carolina, Joe Wilson and others just like him. And they have not only attacked 
Obama…but his wife, as well as, 
others around him. Case in point….Van Johnson, Obama’s Green Jobs Advisor…for comments that he made regarding George Bush and his possible involvement in 9/11.
Even I have to say that I believe 9/11 to have been an inside-job. 
For those airplanes to hit their designated target in such a fashion…20 minutes apart from each other…was rather a curious feat. Since I don’t know any airplanes to ever take off on time such as thoes airplanes did…and to hav
e flown so questionably far far far off course without any signals being sounded…was highly questionable. And finally, to be able to get into that protected air space around that section of New York City…and not 1 airplane …but 2…and not be shot down or be reported by any of the aircrafts up in the air reporting on the early morning traffic, accidents etc for local networks…and nobody thought it was unusal…is very odd to say the least.

And just a side note…it was via WNPR that I got all my news that day in New York City. Like most of the radio stations in New York, they too had their radio tower on top of the World Trade Center. But quickly managed to begin broadcasting via an alternate antena at another location. And like everyone else in the city that day…in shock and barely believing it themselves…while working
double and triple air shifts on NPR as nobody could hardly get around in New York day.
For days on end I listened and waited …trying to get a handle on the events that were so unbelievable and that not one person in the city within the course of that first or second could grasp a hold of…or any understanding as to…why?
In a vote of 240 to 179 the Democrats out-voted the Republicans in a vote against Joe Wilson for yelling out “You lie” …calling Obama a liar. Yhus making President Obama the first Presiden of the United States to have suffered such an embarrassment while addressing a governing department upon Capital Hill. Finally got out and did get something done today. Didn’t sit out on the porch again this morning reading to read my Bible. It has gotten cold here. And as I have said already…we are in for a very cold winter this year.
Got to get up tomorrow and go get my hair done. So, I better try to get some sleep. Happy that it is finally the weekend…and bet you are too.

Obama…health care… and the nay sayers… a question of gender, Caster Semenya

I have to admit to having not been one of those people who has yet to read the President’s proposal concerning health care plan. But here is the video footage of his speech before Congress.
I have heard mixed views on the job that the President has done and is doing…and they have been mixed. Alot of it…somewhat ignorant.
I would really like to know who in their right mind thought that the mess that George Bush left behind was going to be fixed in the matter of a few months time?
Well, surely these people could not possibly be rational or thinking people. Mostly, I have no doubt that like Palin…who is intended upon becoming a torn in this Administration’s backside…they are intent akso on opposing Obama in everything he does.
Can you imagine a bunch of people sitting around and hoping that this President fails?
And they call themselves Americans.
If the President fails…then this country fails. They are tied together.

It is impossible…and vastly unfair if that is your thinking. In case nobody was looking…the Bush Administration almost destroyed this country. How do you just bounce back from that?
How can a country that was plunged almost to the brink of bankruptcy itself…possibly emerge over-night from the raging tides of such bad, arrogant and negligectful management as we were under during the Bush Administration…to again being back in the calm of the peaceful waters of a smooth tide of a productive and abounding?
I have even heard some say that it is Obama’s fault for all the dead bodies 
that are being shipped back into this country…from a war which Obama strongly opposed and voted against. He (Obama), however, chose to allow 
America and the world to see the amount of human damage and loss that war has and is costing us…as opposed to the Bush Administration who started that war and maintained it for 5 years while draining America dry…and cloaked not only their policies…but put forth the decision to hide those bodies from the face and eyes of America.
Perhaps, the best thing one can say about Barack Obama is this…is that he is his own man. He does not blow with win. He does not cow down to the geers and nay sayers. But he follows through with what he believes is right. And that is the most that we can ask of anyone.
The old saying goes like this-
“You can satisfy some of the people some of the time. But you can’t satisfy all of the people all of the time.”
And how very true that is. No matter what any of us do…not everybody is going to be satisfied. And somebody is always going to find fault with it…no matter how it turns out.
One has to wonder just how many people out there are walking around with duel-sex organs…both male and female?
In the past few months much controversy had been over the 22 year old, German pro-tennis star Sarah Gronert, whom I wrote 
about several blogs ago…if you care to go back and read it.
Now, it seems there is yet another controversy brewing in the world of sports. This time it is about a 19 year old World 800 Meters track champion from South Africa, Caster Semenya…also a hermaphrodite…now called intersexuals. Caster, however, does not have a womb
or ovaries…and her male organs are within her body. So there was no way for her…or him…to be aware of such a condition until she ordered to be tested.
There can be no doubt that such athletes possess an advantage over their other female contenders…far more strenght and 
endurance than an 100% total woman could possibly possess. Therefore, such an advantage by entering women competitions is grossly unfair to all the biological totally female athletes that they are challenging.
In Caster’s case he does not even look like a woman…in any form or shape
. And his physical make-up being without a womb or ovaries definitely would catagorize him as something other than a woman…like being a man.
Clearly his speed…or her’s as currently he is called…pronouncedly shows that he 
has superior strenght over the women running with him…or her. SEE VIDEO BELOW…just CLICK it a few times and ignore the text. There is little wonder why the track & field heads ordered him to take a sex test. (this is a picture of Caster with Winnie Mandela hugging to comfort her)
Since having won a major race with little effort at the World Track & Field
Games…Caster has becomd a big hero…or she-ro… amongst her native people of South Africa. Her family is enraged at charges and that her was forced to be tested, and her 
father has proclaimed that everyone is crazy for even thinking that she is a man. It is indeed a very sad situation…all the way around
The fact reminds…as much as I hate to say it…is that she does 
possess super 
strenght…and speed…due chemical make-up of her body. Which, therefore, does give her an unquestionable advantage over the other women…who do not possess the sort of birth defeat. Which I guess you would have to call it…as Caster does who was born with both male and female organs…even her male organs are within her body.
Some people chase fame and success all of their lives. Then to get it and find out…you 
are faced with one of the biggest obstacles of your life.
How do you deal with that…and be so young?
Her country…her people and her family…are all fighting for her.
The more I think about Caster the more I feel for her. I only hope 
that this thing does not cause her…or him to go out and now start to indulge carelessly in sexual activity trying to prove something…or trying to disprove it. At her age it is not hard to make a lot of bad and very wrong choices.
I don’t know how sexually active she has been up to this…being just 19. But many people indulge in increased sexual active to prove things to themselves…and many times also to others. Men do it to prove they that still ‘have it.’ Whatever that means. So, seeking out 
tons of women to have sex with to prove that they are not gay…or like women…or trying to quash rumors about themselves.
With Caster’s situation being so public…it is not hard to believe that she may not chose such a course. Now, knowing that she cannot bare any children, being that she has neither uterus or womb…the fear of becoming pregnant has been far removed from her. I only hope that her moral integrity and a trust in God…will prevent her from making some very choices in her 
life. Because such a thing as finding that you are not totally what you thought you were…
Well, who could really deal with that?
But having been tested and finding out what was discovered…may have answered some questions for her.

Wow, I feel sorry for him…her. She grew up as a girl…going to a girl’s 
school in South Africa. And now is hailed as a South African champion among her people.
And for this whole thing about her sex…or true sex to be so public… It has to be hard…and it is quite unfortunate. But I 
can understand the feelings of the other females who have to complete with him…or her. And I am sorry to have to put it like that…but what other why is there to put it?
But the difference between Caster and Sarah is…is that Caster’s male organs are internal opposed to Sarah whose sexual organs…male and female were visible. As Sarah underwent surgery to remove her male organs. So, yes…I can sympathize with anyone born this way…and particular if you never knew that you had the problem in the first place…which was Caster’s situation.
Another day when I didn’t get much done. But I did sit out on the porch again this morning reading my Bible.
Well, I better get some sleep otherwise I will sleepy most of the day tomorrow. Writing these blogs can take up so much time. But I am happy to share. And I hope that you are enjoying what it is that I have to say.

The God Father of Gospel Music, Rev. Timothy Wright… Jesse again… Mike Steele RNC… First Family date night…
I was hoping to go to bed early tonight. Didn’t get in until after 2 AM last night. Had the opportunity to go into New York for the 2nd night of the funeral of the God Father of Gospel Music, Rev. Timothy Wright. And what an event it was. I am still happy that we decided to go.
It was a musical program celebrating the music and musical legacy and influence of Dr. Timothy Wright. So, some of everybody in gospel music was there and performed including a combined choir of 23 choirs…comprising 1,200 voices. So, if you can imagine that…then you have a clue of the kind of evening we had last night…and it was free and open to public. On top of it…it was very well organized…and had a super sound system…and there wasn’t anything outside of what that church already had that could have beat it. And was like being in the Appollo Theater…it had to have been a converted movie theater…the church…in fact, I know it had been theater because it had at least 2 balcony levels if not 3 of them.
So, from Ty Tribbett, to Rev. Milton Biggham, Myrna Summers, Timoney Figueroa, Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship Choir, Vershawn Mitchell, Keith Wonder Boy, Maurette Brown, Judieth McAllister…and many many
others performed…a host of them. And it was fabulous…each and everyone of them. I am still glowing from that service in honor of the God Father of Gospel Music, Rev. Timothy Wright…a man I really feel was not given the real honor that his music deserved…during the course of his life. But he never complained…he continued writing… producing… performing and preaching to the glory of God. Truly, a fabulous man…and a real lover of his church…and God. Faithful…
It shocked me the Saturday, last July when we woke up to a bunch of text messages saying Rev. Timothy Wright had met with a tragic automobile accident which took 
the life of his wife and only grand son…leaving him paralyzed and mostly hospitalized until he passed just recently. From one moment to the next…we never know what is going to happen in our life.
Earlier that evening I had stopped by Rev. Wright’s booth at AIM, in Detroit…he 
had just been down a few booths and to the opposite of the aisle from Vicki Winans’ booth. He was 
autographing his book while cheerfully beaconing passerbyers to stop at his booth.
I will not forget how I had stood there telling him how great he looked…and how happy I was to see that he was doing so well healthwise…as the last time I had seen him was when I had booked him to performed at my summer outreach program called, Ministry Under the Tent. He was not feeling well at all…but yet he travelled from New York to perform before the people here who are still talking about that show…and weekend.
Because I could see that that he was not feeling well that day…as he was dietetic…I said to him-
“If you only sing one song I’ll be okay with that.”
That’s what I told him.
But when he hit that stage with his 30 choir members…you would not have been able to tell how he had been suffering prior to performing. And he kept on going like the Energized Bunny. They really performed…and sounded just like the CD’s.
So, it was good to see him in Detroit doing so well health-wise…and I just kept saying it over and over…and the following morning…
To tell you seriously I felt guilty…as though I had caused that accident 
myself…having raved so much about how good Rev. Wright had looked that Saturday afternoon. But a car coming up onto the inter-state highway travelling in the wrong direction ran right into his car…head-on… and Rev. Timothy Wright’s life was forever changed that night.
I was shocked…his life had been turned upside down in the flash of a moment. He had just finished performing in a large gospel concert with Mary Mary, the Clark 
Sisters, Ricky Dillard etc…and in a quick flash of a moment…his career had come to a end. He lost his wife and grand son…and very nearly lost his own life in less than 6 hours since the time I had spoken with both him and his wife as they worked their booth with their grand son.
D.U.I…driving under the influence of alcohol or anything else…is a serious problem…and it is highly dangerous and deadly to us all. The same roadway that that accident occured was the exact highway we had to travel on later in order for us to get back home from Detroit too. Any one of us could have met up with that driver. It should not take until something 
happens to one of us that we rally to do something about drivers who continue to get behind the wheel knowing that they are incapable of doing so properly or safely.
It is sad to think about what ended up happening to Rev. Timothy Wright and his family due a driver driving under the influence…who also ended up killing himself…by not only traveling in the wrong direction. But also travelling at a very high speed.
Needless to say…I was happy to hear that he was no longer suffering…and trying to deal with his loses. Yes, I was happy that he was no longer suffering from the loses in his personal life…and his physical being.
He was so gracious and so kind…when I called him…he never even asked me to sign a contract…didn’t have to wire him any up-front money…which is highly out of 
the norm. But that is what he did…just said have the money ready when he got there. And I did…and all cash. I have done many shows…and never had anyone been so trusting.
I have been involved in both concert promotions and other large events as a promoter for both R&B and religious concerts and events…but never had 1 entertainer… agent… manager… or other person that I booked for an event of any type…not require me to sign a contract and to send some money in advance…which is typically the way that it is done. And I am sure that through his many years in the industry…I am sure that Rev. Wright has probably had his share of problems with promoters…yet he did not require me to sign or forward him anything…for some reason. Though I asked him…and he said-
“No, just have it ready when I get there.”
I marvel at that even to this day. And I made sure that everything for him was set and ready for him when the bus I had hired for them pulled into town and they poured off of it.
And I cannot thank enough the Chamblee Bus Company out of Newark, New Jersey…who at 1 AM in the morning the night before Rev. Wright was to perform… they got me a bus and a driver…after the initial bus company I had hired for the job…to pick up Rev. Wright and his choir in Brooklyn…called me to say that they were not coming. I marvel at that too…God worked it out in the wee hours of the morn. And all ended up being just fine…better than fine.
As I sat there listening to all those performers and expeditors…and listened to the new group of radio gospel announcers in New York City now…my mind drifted back to all the years that I have played his music…and still do…and how he had come to perform here at Ministry Under the Tent…and I couldn’t help but cry a bit from time to time.
Following all the singing…Pastor Hubert Powell was allowed a few seconds to speak…and wow did he deliver. I wish I could write it like he said it…but I can’t. 
But he and the God Father of Gospel Music, Rev. Timothy Wright, had been friends for over 50 years. And I do not think…and would find it very hard to believe…that anybody who ever met him…didn’t meet somebody who they did ot like and love in the person of Rev. Timothy Wright. He was truly a man of God…who got his start up under the Father of Gospel Music…James Cleveland.
As I stated…I had decided not to write anything tonight. I could barely keep my eyes open earlier…but while checking on some things over the internet…I came across a couple of stories which really motivated me to begin to write this blog.
The first was a story on Jesse Jackson. I find him to be so disappointing. Not at
all the person I thought him to be. I guess it is hard to accept when people do not meet your expectations of who you believe them to be…based upon your media knowledge of them…meaning news items that you read.
Throughout all the years all the information on Jesse Jackson had been positive…up until the story of the illegitimate baby…and that open mic story hit the news…where Jesse… Well, you know the story (wrote about it in 2 other blogs if you to read that story)…how Jesse said he wanted to cut off Obama’s… Well…you know the story. Until that point my preception of Rev. Jesse Jackson had been one of him being what he actively projected…and that is what it was a “projection”...that he was a dedicated black leader…who sincerely loved and cared for his people.
Now, reading this story further adds to my ever decreasing opinion of Jesse Jackson. Currently, he is being sued for $100,000 by the AEI Speakers Bureau for failing to show up at a speaking engagement in Trinidad…after…now check thi
s out… after he had the conference promoters charter him a private jet to transporthim from Chicago to Trinidad for the speaking engagement…and demanding a fee of $75,000 to come and speak at the event. And I thought Aretha Franklin’s $65,000 fee plus a portion of the gate was excessive. Well, it was a bit too rich for my blood…but at least she was worth the money. I just couldn’t afford it.
Can you imagine that?
Seventy-five thousand dollars to have Jesse Jackson come to speak at a conference engagement. And an engagement in a poor country…run by black people?
And then force them to book him a private chartered jet?
Can you imagine the type of hotel accommodations Jesse must have requested…5 star plus…no doubt.
They deserve to sue him. And I hope they get every dime. What a ridiculously greedy man. He is definitely too full of himself.
For the same event Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin L. King the third were also booked to participate…both of whom who flew regular commercial fligts into Trinidad.
I have to admit to having read years ago while in New York…that Jesse’s Wall Street Summit was nothing but one big corporate shake-down…in the name of black people.
Can you imagine Jesse Jackson getting rich on our backs?
Playing all these years…like something he has never been. Really interested in black people…and the social injustices surrounding them. And trying to get to get them irraticated. When in fact…he has always been out for Jesse…at the pretense of aiding the plight of black people in this country.
The Bible says…what is done in the dark will come to light. Meaning anything that is not true…will in time be unveiled…revealed. Jesse Jackson can truly speak to the words of this scripture…as more and more is being revealed about him.
Now…on to Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National 
commitee…another foolish black man…along the vain of a Clarence Thomas.
It is sad really.
We are living in a season now… Oh, well…come on lets grow up. We do not have go running around and cow-tauing and bowing down to everybody. Give me a break. I hate ignorance…and particularly from those who want to pretend that are above others…in terms of their intellect…place in life…etc…etc… But they don’t know who they are…or they forget where they come from…or how to love what is their’s…namely their own people while trying to pretend to be somebody else. And also loose their dignity by acting and talking foolishly.
Every group loves their own people…that is only natural. And anybody who doesn’t…then something is wrong with them.
Loving your own group doesn’t mean that you have feel that your group is superior…smarter…or better than any other group…or have ideas of bigotry. No, it just means you are proud in who you are.
But that group called the Republicans…particularly that group of ignorant and narrow minded black folk in that party…like Clarence Thomas, Alan Kayes…and now this Michael Steele. This Mike Steele recently, while sitting in of radio program chatting with a caller who had called in to discuss Barack Obama…Michael Steele made the statement that media created Barack Obama.
What kind of dumb statement was that?

edia did not create Barack Obama…as if he was the figment of someone’s imagination. Media definitely did not create Barack Obama…they chased Barack Obama because he was the story that people were interested in. And that is what media does…they make their living tracking down stories that people want to hear and read. That is the name of the 
business…or if you will…the game.
Barack Obama is not a splash in a pan…he was not created by a bunch 
of handlers…any more than Solomon or David was. Media did not create Tiger Woods…or Michael Jordan…or Muhammad 
Ali…or Jack Nicolas…Princess Diana…or even Dr. Martin L. King, Jr…or Bobby Kennedy or Jack Kennedy, his older brother also known as President John F. Kennedy. Destiny did…and their talents did.
So, how foolish is it for a supposed black man to try to down rate another black man by saying-
“Oh, he wouldn’t be nothing if media hadn’t created him.”
Because that is exactly what Steele said…though he may not have said it in those exact words. But it spoke every bit of envy.
Media did not create Barack Obama…but it could said that it assist in informing people about him. But the same could be said for any movie star…singing star…atlete…or anyone or anything of interest to the masses. That is what media does… it informs.
Too bad Mr. Steele, an ex-governor, is not the kind of Republican that Col. Colin Powell is. Col. Powell is capable of c
elebrating and appreciating the abilities and achievements…and excellence of those inside, as well as, outside of his own party affiliation and race…and so too Obama.
Too bad the former governor lacks their skills.
I am beginning to wonder if the excitement of the moment is starting to ware off for the Obama’s. Living your life in a bubble cannot be fun. Everything you do…say or wear…gets questions.
Who would like that?
I personally do not understand all the questions about the dog…Michelle clothes…her sneakers…etc…
I am not really a sneaker person…but in New York they are rave…and I guess everywhere else too. But with most sneakers ranging far above Pro-Keds back in the day…which were $10…I feel that all sneakers are seriously over priced. And as far as I can see most of them if you want a good pair are over $100.
So, then I do not understand the problem with the cost of Michelle’s sneakers 
costing over $500 as most sneakers cost $200 and more. Or maybe…the fuss was just over Michelle wearing those sneakers to some charity event…but men wear Stacy Adams shoes…and other people wear a bunch of expensive footware today…and nobody is calling to question their shoes…or sneakers.
In looking at the pictures of their date night…to think that was the first walk that 
they have taken together free of anybody being right up on them. I don’t know…but I find that rather sad. The joy of life seems to be stolen from them. It is the cost of fame I guess…and certainly the cost of becoming the President, First Lady and First Family of the United States.
I would take my life over their’s anyday. But it is a sacrifice that 
they willingly went into…because they felt that they could offer their service to help make this a better country. And for that I applaud them…and feel for them.
Nobody ever questioned the price tag of everything or anything that Jackie Kennedy wore. In fact, the rich never talk about price. They have this saying-
“If you have to ask the price then you really can’t afford it.”
Oh, I know what it is.
Jackie “O” never wore sneakers…only terribly expensive clothes…jewelry…and shoes. And there were no questions about them or their price tags.

Well, since it is now 2 AM again…and I was hoping to try to catch up on my sleep as I am trying to put the finishing touches on my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE, promo for youtube…and I 
am becoming frustrated with my new book publishers. It seems that they can’t get my errors corrected properly for some reason.
Since my book had been back and forth to my former publisher…I did not have many errors this time around. But as few as they have been…I have received the galley back 4 times with almost the same errors not having been corrected. And I mean glearing errors that leap out at you…but evidently they do not to the person who is suppose to be setting my type and making these corrects.
I am beginning to come of a mind…that this whole self-publishing thing is for the birds. That it probably doesn’t matter who you get…there will be problems.
Well, I’ll keep you posted. I really have to get some sleep now. I’ve got to get up and out early…a lot of work yet to be done. And the clock is ticking.
