BERNICE KING I STAND WITH YOU… SHIRLEY TEMPLE and more…
I have been trying to find the time to get around to writing this blog ever since I heard the latest on the 
dispute between the King siblings.
What bothered me the most was that everyone seemingly is coming down on Bernice King, the youngest of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.’s children, over this latest controversy in her family amongst her and her brothers.
Looking at the pictures it appears that Martin L. King, III has jumped ship. At one point it had been him and Bernice against Dexter King, their baby brother. Dexter and Martin 3 want to take out of the hands of Bernice their father’s traveling Bible, and what has to be any families most valued treasure if we could all get 1… Dr. King’s Nobel Peace Prize medal.
Who in their right mind would dare part with these 2 things?
There are just some things you simply cannot put a price tag on.
Perhaps, some down and out someone or other might think differently. Or just some plain greedy kids… out to liquidate everything they can get their grubby little hands on of their mother’s and father’s estate.
Is it not enough that the court ordered Bernice to surrender to Dexter personal cards and letters written 
to their mother by their father… items that Mrs. King had personal given to her youngest daughter?
Now, here comes Dexter again… and this time Martin 3 is with him. They are in the boat together to snatch out of their sister’s hands their father’s Bible (the Bible that President Barack Obama placed his hand upon when he took his oath for his 2nd term in the White House) and Dr. King’s Nobel Peace Prize.
How low can you go, Dexter and Martin 3?
Unless you have been there you will never understand how hard it is to stand when everyone around is 
grabbing for what they can get… and all you can think of ‘my parent’s are gone.’ Dealing with loss can be very difficult. And especially when the responsibility somehow falls upon you… be it a sense of duty or whatever… but you are the one who ends up trying to maintain what you see as what your parent’s desire would be.
I clearly understand Bernice King and her decision to try to keep her 
brothers from selling off every piece of their family legacy to the highest bidder.
And why should she?
We have all heard of down and out athletes and actors selling off their championship rings or Academy awards… when left with no other options. But this is something else. It is just pure and simple greed driving Dexter boy and his older and brother, Martin #3.
It is always very unfortunate when the value of your things winds up meaning more to your children than you… or what your desires would be… or the remembrance of you… or in this case have a higher cost than the King legacy and remembrance of their mother and father to some of them.
Bernice King has every right to try to hold onto the precious memories and legacy of 
both her mother and father, without having gifts which her mother gave to her… entrusted her with …being lost to a couple of greedy brothers who care nothing about the King legacy, or even how bad they are making their family and themselves looked by forcing the hand of their baby sister in this matter.
I heard an interview where Andrew Young, a man who I thought used to be a King family friend, commented on this matter by merely snickering at it and saying, “They sue too much.”
You know what Mr. Young?
When you have to take somebody to court ….or they want to take you to court. Baby, you better learn how to fight. Cause if you don’t learn how to swing back… then just crawl into a hole and pull some grass over you and die.
Thank goodness Bernice has not decided to die. When you honor your mother and father, and their memory… you don’t try to sell off precious things that belonged to them, because you cherish them. Those things were a part of them… and they should remain in the King family to get pass down. Many people today can’t even put their hands on old family pictures or 8mm films that may have been taken of them as children. Because somebody in their family grabbed them all up and years later discarded them… or they somehow got lost.
I long for a picture my mother had taken of me and my sister many years ago. We were just young children then. My sister took my parent’s picture and cut it up throwing away my half of that picture while keeping herself. Today not even that part exist. There had been other copies of that picture which my mother had sent to various relatives, but I have never been able to track not 1 down….or put my hands on them some 50 or more years later because they too were probably destroyed.
The problem
in this story is one of greed. Dexter boy has been selling off everything… every piece of the King family estate he can since the passing of their mother… down to making the Federal government pay him for the use of his father’s image and likeness in the creation of his 
monument in Washington, D.C.. One would have thought that the honor and recognition given to his father in the creation of the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. monument in D.C. would have filled him with joy. That he would have been eager for the King family to assist anyway it could. But no… 
not Dexter. He saw it as a money-making opportunity and milked the creation and erection of a monument to his father for every dime he could get out of it… including forcing them to pay for the use of any of Dr. King’s quotes.

[LISTEN] Bernice King Sets Record Straight on the King Family Feud
Why anyone would want to throw stones at Bernice King for standing up to her brothers in their pursuit to sell off what has to be two of the most valued possessions of both their mother and father, Dr. King’s Bible and Nobel Peace Prize… is crazy. Clearly, those people do not know the whole story. 
But it has always been my experience to know that it is usually the good person… the person who is trying to do the right thing… the one who is innocent of trying to do wrong that gets blamed for starting the whole thing and is singled out as the culprit in the eyes of almost everyone looking in on matters like this. I have been there… and in many ways I still am. Trust me me I know.
So, yes… I side with Bernice King. I cheer you on Bernice King. Do not give up the fight. Fight the 
fight… it is well worth fighting. And I pray you God speed and victory in this matter. As there are some things you just do not sell off… like your birth right. And the right of any 3rd or 4th generation King’s etc. to not have to go to a library or museum to see an award presented to their grand-father or great great grand-father, because his kids sold off everything. Some things really are too sacred.
And I also pray for a changed mind and heart of both Dexter King and Martin #3.
In regards to Martin #3… I have no respect for him.
I recall going into court trying to fight for my father. I went in thinking that 2 of my other siblings were on my side. That is what they pretended… that is until we got before the Judge. When we got before the Judge they said nothing. They offered nothing not 1 agreement to anything to what I was saying. I was left out there all alone trying to fight for our father to be returned home, and they said nothing. I later came to realized 
that they never wanted daddy back home in the first place. The house was divided and everybody had grabbed what they wanted. My father’s house had been invaded and taken over… and daddy was forced out of his own property. A fact I never knew until some time after that court hearing.
It is amazing how quickly we can forget all the sacrifices and all the good times… and how much our parents poured into us. If Dr. King had not struggled… if he had not 
marched… if he not sacrificed his life… what would they have to fight over?
What would we all have to celebrate?
The car… the family house… everything that every family at the end is forced to fight over… I suspect they might have fought over that. Because there will always be at least 1 who sees a bigger picture than just self and… and thank God for that. They see more than what they can get out of the passing of supposed love ones. Always 1… and it appears that Bernice King is the 1. And yes… I stand with her.

On another note on the King family. Dexter has gotten married. This is really not new news. But I 
know it is not mentioned or talked about but if the truth be told… Dexter is really not the marrying kind. Everything for him is show. His wife is a supposed ex-lesbian. 
But I have known people who were gay who married with each 1 doing their own thing.
When I first encountered this it was a couple of the weirdest 2 people I had ever met. The guy was flamingly gay… and between them they did have a child. I really don’t know how she managed it?
But I figured out that they had been great friends and this is what laid the foundation for them agreeing to get together as husband and wife.
I also remember when once a lover of mine had been offered quite a considerable about of money from a man, who at the time was a boss of mine (he owned the radio station). His son was very very gay and t
he father wanted a grand child… an heir or something I guess. So, he proposed an offer to my girlfriend of this substantial amount of money to marry his 1 and only child
, this gay son. And no she did not do it… as it was totally out of the question. But the point here is… is that there are some people who will do anything in order to have their gay children reform… get married… have children… even if it means they will not give them or leave them a dime unless they do. Then there are some people who get married for various other reasons… other than love. It’s called a ‘marriage or convenience.’
Well, God bless… it has been snowing… snowing… And I have been out shoveling… shoveling… I 
hope you have been keeping warm and dry.
I must say though… that all this snow is beautiful.
If you are out there in the snow please remember safety rules. Drive with care and caution in the snow and ice. Apply brakes when riding on icy roadways lightly… come to a nice and easy stop by slowing up. Do not slam on your brakes… it will send your car sliding out of control.
I like this little cartoon thing that one of my friends made. I makes me laugh every time I look at it.
Guess I’m moving a little bit too fast. I had all but forgotten about it being BLACK HISTORY MONTH. So, in celebration of Black History Month let me just quick tell you about a young lady in England. The youngest person to ever become a barrister (that is practicing lawyer in their terms). Her name is Gabrielle Turnquest. She is from the States, Florida to be exact… and she is just 18 years old. Amazing. To be young gifted and black… is definitely where it is at.
Happy BLACK HISTORY MONTH….
And let me not forget that this week Shirley Temple passed (Shirley Temple Black) at age 85. I cannot begin to tell you the countless Saturdays I spent watching Shirley Temple dance and sing her way down long stair steps… or try to cheer up a friend. She was more than just a favorite… Shirley was my friend.

ELMO and MORE…continuation of PASTOR’S OF LA my take on it…
‘Awh, come on, Bern. Where have you been?”
A friend recently ask me shocked, as we were engaging in a conversation via the telephone around a variety of subjects. When some how or other the conversation fell upon poor little ole Elmo.
“You mean you haven’t heard?” my friend continued.
Then she commenced to ask me where I had been for the last year, as she claimed that the story surrounding Elmo had been a big 1. Evidently, I had not been reading much by way of the news because when I looked it up on Google… I found that my friend had been right. It had been a big story. A story of sex… underage boys and a Sesame Street employee.
It had to have been a very big and alarming surprising shock to the world of children… and their parents I am sure. Elmo was being sued. Well, not Elmo to be exact… but the man who had… or as my friend claimed to have been the creator of Elmo. I don’t know if he had been the creator of Elmo… but for the last 30 or so years, which I guess had been about as long as the period that my son last watched that
show… being that he is now some 30 years old himself. The man had been the voice of the Sesame Street puppet named Elmo. A man by the name of Kevin Clash.
She said the guy was into young boys who were of mixed races, Hispanic and who had long flowing hair.
In Googling some pictures of the guy, here again my friend seemed to be correct. He did like boys about 15 or so years of age… with their hair a certain kind of way.
I have to say, “Where had I been when this story broke?”
With the popularity of Elmo around the world…
it really had to be a bit of a big shock to hear and then to read this story. And to see pictures of the boys… suing the man.
I totally dislike stories like this… news items about people who prey upon people… destroying young lives …and particular the lives of children… even seniors… or those who suffer from some sort of mental diminished capacity. Or preying upon anyone in general.
In reading over the news articles on the internet all I could think of were those past Christmas commercials regarding Elmo products… in particular the tickle me Elmo doll. Elmo seemed for some reason to have 
captivated both the hearts of children and adults alike… and over time has become quite popular.
I thought of Melissa, a young school teacher friend of mine… whose email address was ‘Elmo something something’ or other. Can’t remember exactly what… which is why I have not been able to email Melissa for quite some time now. But she utterly loved Elmo.
I wonder how she feels now?
Well, I kind of know exactly how she feels… very much like me. But I never was into Elmo… so, I suspect that she has dropped any association with Elmo now. Though I must say… it really wasn’t Elmo’s fault.

But in case you never heard the story either. Sesame Street dropped the guy… Kelvin Clash… and the 4 law suits that had been issued against him by varying parties… were I guess… based upon some of the articles I read on story were dropped due to the statue of 
limitations. Though at least 1 of the articles I read said that 1 of the 4 boys… young men at this time… was paid off in a settlement $125,000.
Shame that for the most part they had no real legal recourse due to the law of the statues of limitation. Tragedies that happen in your life never go away. Ruining kids lives should never have a statue of limitations put upon them to prohibit them from coming back to seek damages, for things done to them to destroy their lives… as most kids try to forget those kinds of things. And during the time of the abuse children do not know anything about having a ‘legal recourse’ against perpetrators… or any laws that would protect them… though nothing can really protect them from such people. And for many it totally messes with their physique as to who they really are… and brings about conflicts in sexual identity.
Of 1 thing I am sure of… child abuse ruins lives… future relationships… dreams… and a sense of security and/or self-confidence and self-worth that children growing into adults may or may ever have.
Now, on to the Oxygen network TV reality show called Pastors of LA… another conversation that me and my 
friend hit upon the other day while speaking on the phone.
She told me snickering into the phone, ‘Bern, I watched it four times.’
WHY?????
That is my question.
Yes, I finally caught it…. episode #1 on on-demand I saw it yesterday evening. And they will not have to worry about me having a desire to see another episode.
I had wondered why it was when I went up on YouTube to see some video reviews of the show… I had found so few of them? As a rule the people who watch these shows like throwing a camera… or their cell phone up on themselves while they give play by play comments on the shows. But not so with this show.
Now I know why. The show actually really is not worth talking about. And I too have to admit… like Bishop T. D. Jakes… that the show to be ‘junk.’ Absolutely and completely… pure ‘junk.’
It lacks any real reason for even being on TV outside of destroying what the Church is supposed to be really all about.
It makes leadership in the Church look bad and in particular… leadership in the Black Church.
People in the secular world already have a tainted view of Church and of most people in the Church… particularly when it comes to so-called Pastors. Now this show only fuels those mis-perceptions.
If ever you want the Black Church shown in a bad light… then watch the Black Pastors of LA. They will do it for you… bound to keep the captives bound… and sinners laughing.
Now what I am going to discuss next my friend, Linda and I did not discuss this story… however, as I just happened to come across it just now. But it struck a nerve so I decided to post it.
Somebody said to me…. ‘You know black people are starting to commit the same kind of crimes as white people.’ It was my cousin… now that I think back on it who said this to me just this week during a phone conversation I happened to have had with him.
If you are white please do not take offense… none intended. This is, however, how we talk among ourselves… as I am sure you talk among yourselves.
But it is true that there were certain type of crimes which black people never ever used to commit… least ways that was the perception. In fact, when we heard that such and such type of crimes had been committed, such as mass murders… or people being buried in walls… or serial killings…etc… we often knew immediately that it could not have been a black person. Least ways that is what we thought…. but very rapidly this has all changed. We are becoming as guilty of committing crimes such as bondage… killing people and putting them in walls or floors (and still be living in the house) as everybody else …etc.

So, of course, this story would leap out at me… as almost all the other stories of teachers indulging in sex with 
their underage students… as far as I had read… were all white women. And now… here comes this story. A black woman… a math teacher… she had been carrying on sexual relations with under age boy students in the school she taught in, in Michigan.
Though as I begin to remember some things… I remember a young college student… a friend of mine… who had been involved with her high school counselor. She had been under age when the relationship started… and it went on and on through her years in college… and I guess afterwards. And they were both black.
So, I guess maybe the story of a black woman being charged with committing such a crime really should neither be a surprise nor a shock to me. And certainly not something that I thought only happened along other color lines.
I guess we are all guilty of narrow thinking. So, I must apologize for my narrow thinking in this …and perhaps many other areas in my life. It is ignorant to assume that only certain people do certain things. It is absolutely not true… and my remember of my college friend and her sexual relationship with her high school counselor certainly proves it. And I think that relationship messed up her entire life.
The girl was absolutely beautiful in her youth… not that she looks bad now. But her youth is gone. And that man eat it up.
I often think that if any of us should have been married… it should have been her. But it never happened for her. And I think it was or is because she wasted all her valuable time on a loosing proposition… a rat. Her formative years were spent hanging on a string… of a worthless predator who stole that part of her life from her.
Well, God bless… hope you enjoy the rest of your week… and your soon to come weekend. They had said rain… but it did not come. Now, it is sunny and warm… beautiful. And I am looking for the rain to come any
minute now… as they say sunshine all weekend long.
In going back to the female math teacher above and her sex scandal… I don’t know what goes wrong. But I do know that things go wrong in the mind of women. And if carried out we would all be in prison.
But then even men could say the same. The ‘thing’ is nothing short of demonic spirits… and if none of use are careful or prayed up… they can grab a hold of us all…

Just a few words on things on my mind…. DIVERSE CRIMES… Cannibalism…
It appears that my gospel blogs… or blogs about preachers or gospel music personalities etc. are infinitely more popular than most of my other blogs lately. I find that to be interesting.
Though that blog I wrote on that father who had impregnated 3 of his own daughters has 
been right up there since I posted that blog. However, that story was sick. But perhaps you like sick. If so, then you are sure to get a kick out of this… though I must say it is not funny at all… and really not something to get a kick out of… nor meant to be. But it appears that these kind of shocking stories today are more and more appealing to some people… and very appalling to many of us. Here is 1 that I have been thinking about since I read the story a week or so ago over the internet.
It is about some man in Boston who they tracked down via his internet content. He was… I guess greatly into child pornography. He had posted that he was into rapping and eating children… eating as in ‘eating chicken’… cannibalism. Needless to say I am so happy that they caught him. But I could not help but wonder if the 
man had carried out any of what he had posted about.
Based upon his web content and various magazines and pictures of children that the police had found in his home, the man was definitely a pedophile and also into satanism. Was it not enough just stealing the innocence of young children more than enough?
Why eat them as meat too?
What happens in the minds of these people that they allow themselves to get carried away with such deep dark thoughts that take up residence within them for so long… something that resisting them gets to be no option.
Don’t we all have thoughts that can be scary if we allowed them to linger?
One of cousins told me that she used to drink heavily but 1 day she said she realized she had to quit. 
She said that on that 1 day she was sitting in a restaurant and across from her was a mother with a young baby. She told me that the thought came to her mind suddenly to over to the baby and stab it death with her fork. She said that that was when she knew then that she had to stop drinking. And she did.
Could it be as simple as that?
Could all these deviant thoughts… crazy thoughts… frightening thoughts… be cast off of us if we just merely chose to refuse to carry out whatever that insane thing or deviant thing… or crazy thought… or frightening thing that came into our mind was.
I do know that such wild and intensely insane thoughts do come into peoples minds. 
Thoughts that when carried out… become unbelievable to those who knew of the person that perpetrated some heinously insane act.
I know this because such an insane thought came into my head once. It was around about the time after I had had… given birth to my son. It was something crazy and lingered with me for a few hours if not for days. I will not say what the thought was… but for some reason it had me, somewhat. I, of course, I never acted upon it… but it was a deviant and a mad thing… the though of carrying out an action which came into my mind and spirit.
For those of you who believe in Biblical text than you will understand this statement… though for some of you it may not have much of a meaning if any at all. But the Bible says, ‘We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities, spiritual wickedness etc…’ It is those principalities… those strange dark forces, that if you are not careful you can slip into… and it will use you like a wet rag then cast you off like filthy rags ready for the fire.
My cousin fortunately had the hand of God upon her life… as did I. But I think of those who don’t know Him… and have no idea how to break the chain of the demonic spirit that is forcing them to carry out some depraved act… be it murder… rape… incest… cannibalism… etc.
This makes me think of that school teacher… or rather that notorious ex-school teacher… a woman who started having a sexual relationship with a 13 or 14 year old boy in her class. The draw of being sexually involved with that boy could not be broken off of her… no matter how much the court… our legal system had tried. She even went to prison… 
had been publicly humiliated and yet could not stop. But again and again she would be found with that boy. I recall seeing a TV news segment of 1 of her trials, as the woman stood before the court she began pleading for help. She said, ‘I need help.’ That’s when I realize she was helpless in doing what she continued to do with that young boy.
I doubt that the court or anyone in that courtroom really heard her. But I did… it radiated at me. She was doomed and needed to have that curse broken from her. Courts and judges… lawyers and things like that they do not understand anything like that. The operate in the natural. But are some very unnatural forces out there. But those who are those like me who know the Word of the Lord understand the spirits which can come in and attack people. People who like me knew what type of real help that woman was asking for. But she never got it. Some years later she was released from prison and went back at it… her and that boy. Though he was older now… and soon she began birthing children by him. I often think of her at times… knowing that there is no way that either of them are probably happy today.
I, since hearing her plead for help… have always felt sorry for her. And have prayed that the yoke upon her would be broken off of her.
There are those who are not strong enough … and they have no power through the power or strength… which in these cases none of us have any. Only through God can the demonic spirits be cast out. God alone can turn away the evil thoughts and actions that can creep into their minds and spirit. But they simply do not know Him… the people who do such unspeakable things. They have no relationship with God. It is not through any strength of our own that keeps any of us… or has kept us from carrying out some crazy or insane acts, but through the working of God in our lives.
Because such forces are beyond anything that we can personally fight… or ever hope to truly battle and win on our own. We need God to do it… as we simply do not have the power to do it. It takes that Greater and Higher Power to handle it for us… to act on our behaves… least we fall prey to the evil that lurks in our minds… as that school teacher and countless hundreds of thousands… probably millions of others.

When you read news stories of 13 and 14 year old kids killing 1 of their mother’s and then 
prepare to eat her liver… you have to realize that we are in the midst of some very dark times. More and more stories of cannibalism are coming into the news lately. There had been a time when such stories were big shockers…stories of people like Jeffery Dahmer. But not today. It appears to me that daily something on cannibalism can be found in the news… and it is very disturbing.

For years we had heard of people who were into things like witchcraft that carried out such acts as the drinking of human blood. Speaking of which when I once worked in the Village, down in New York City… I was ever so surprised when 1 of my co-workers came out with this statement, of wishing he was a vampire. Near the end of life hanging out in New York City, gay clubs and the Gay & Lesbian Center in New York… I had become to be weary with all the dog collars and black leather suits. They were starting to get strongly involved into satanism, I thought. Whips and bondage had started to take a hold upon them… dominatrix… S&M was the new pleasure.
It was not until a very attractive women came to Sala Soul 1 night that I realized just how much this thing was taking a hold of them. The meeting that Thursday night was about 
S&M… sadomasochism… whippings and bondage for sexual pleasure. I had noticed that she was dressed all in black leather, but I had not made the connection. It was appalling to me… actually down right shocking. I was not prepared for that kind of topic… nor will ever be. But that woman’s world was the world of S&M.
She spoke about this thing that she had fallen into with such excitement and joy… that it was really hard for me to remain in my seat and not hit the door. Whereas everyone else in the room seemed to be taken by this thing that this woman was inviting them to become involved in… I rejected it. It was hard for me to believe that anyone would ever believe that… it was the 1 who was in bondage… the person handcuffed or chained… or otherwise tied up and being whipped… was the person in control.
Come on, now do you really believe that?
If you are handcuffed and have put yourself in mercy of some crazy person with a belt or whip or paddle or some other torturous device… who is standing over you inflicting you with pain… do you believe you have any power to stop that person if they decide… Well, decide to kill you… or continue to whip you though you cry out STOP?
No, you have no power… to stop them. But this woman was saying something else. And if 
you were sitting on the moon… like many of my Sala Soul Sisters seemed to be that, as they were very engrossed with the topic and the woman. Then maybe you might have bought that… but I did not. And nobody on this planet can tell me anything different.
But this is the mind-set of many people… to begin dipping into the macabre… stepping deeper and deeper into darkness. They begin playing with things and thoughts that take them into deep dark places… where they become lost.
A year or so… or maybe a couple of years later I happened to come across 1 of young women 
who had been at that Sala Soul meeting on S&M. This woman had asked a lot of questions that night, and she really seemed more than slightly interested in S&M. I guess she truly was. Because when I came across her some time later she was wearing all black leather… the dress code of those in S&M… bondage. I even made a remark about it black leather attire… and saw a look come across her face as if I had found her out. She had emerged herself into that lifestyle… and was now 1 of them… and it is a lifestyle… a sub-culture of which even they have their own flag… a nation unto itself… of highly misguided people. That was the last Sala Soul Sisters meeting I ever went to… and from that point on I began to move further and further out of ‘the Life’… meaning gay life… being a lesbian. I began to realize I had less and less common with them, my fellow Sala Soul Sisters. My thoughts were changing… and at the end I had changed.
I thank God he put something in me that has kept me from totally going crazy… or following every insane whim that came into my mind. I had limits and barriers that I would never cross because of my early child training. Training does show up… and

Well, so much for that… just thought I would drop in and share a few words. Hope all is well with you… and that you continue to enjoy the rest of this week.
One final note on that man from Boston who was into rapping and eating children. He requested that the state give him life… but his sentence is only for a term of 25 years. I think the Judge should have heard him… and some kind of provision was written that he would never be release back into public life again. The man obviously knows he has no power to resist the deep dark forces that lurk within him.
Well, God bless… and I guess I’ll see ya’ the next time I decide that I have something on my mind. For the record this blog was 1 of hardest to find any YouTube video for… or some pictures I really liked. Most of the stuff was just to gross or nasty for me to want to use it. But then I guess that all really goes with the type of subject matter this blog was about. Not much that any of us really want to see or know about.

GATED COMMUNITIES…and the ZIMMERMAN CASE…
The first time I actually saw a gated community it was a warm summery day, and I was 
driving around with Mother Rochelle looking for some beach front property to buy.
We were in Coney Island when we came upon it… a gated community. We were kind of in awe of it… because it was kind of off by itself. We did not recognize immediately what it was that we were looking at… as it is just not the kind of thing you see in New York City. And certainly not out in Coney Island ever… least ways I had not.
But by this time Coney Island had been converted into, I guess you could say, some type of urban oasis. Gone were all the tall brick story housing complexes that used to line the skies in this section of Brooklyn, known to the world as Coney Island. The place looked 
totally different and it was hard to believe what had once been. I didn’t see the boardwalk or the amusement rides… none of it. It was as if somebody had taken a pencil and erased it… all.
Then that is when Mother and I spotted it, a group of houses surround by a brick wall. Up until this point… some time ago I had heard about gated communities but had never seen 1… or thought about it when I had seen them. Because who thinks of these kind of things… gated communities? I see such structures as just being more or less just a group of apartments or houses… or housing complexes… or new housing developments. But this place was fenced in with wires going all around… almost like a prison. The houses looked like that they had been shoved in and bunched up on top of each other… and that is what caught our attention.
The houses did not look like anything spectacular to me. None of them had any real land around them. Just a group of regular New York style non-distinct houses, of various kinds. Nothing big or fancy. Nothing that looked rizie… just plain 
common ordinary houses. Nothing to brag about. But they were fenced in by this brick wall that went all the way around it.
I remember saying to Mother, “Look Mother, a gated community.”
I was surprised to see it… and especially in New York City… and Mother was too. And even more especially in Coney Island… a place where nothing but public housing complexes used to stand, for as far as the eyes could see… but they were now all gone.
I can’t remember having seen 1 public housing complex that day in this section of Coney Island, that I used to visit often once upon a time.
Actually, they are not all certainly gone… at least ways not all of New York’s public housing… otherwise known as projects. But many have now been transformed. The old tenants moved or were forced out by the city of the developers, who had come in to possess this waterfront section of Brooklyn, known as Coney Island. And the buildings that those people all once used to live in have become condos and co-ops, which are very popular in New 
York City among those who can afford it. Or they were torn down totally. And that was what Mother Rochelle and I were looking at… an area where all the old housing complexes were totally gone.
But while writing my blog, THE ZIMMERMAN CASE WHAT A FARCE, I had heard in 1 of the YouTube videos that I put into that blog… how Zimmerman’s gated community had had a few recent robberies.
In 1 of those videos…. 1 of the homeowners, said to have been 1 of Zimmerman’s neighbor in the gated community… he commented on how a couple of the houses had recently been broken into and robbed. How Zimmerman had stopped robbers from breaking into his house. And he also stated this was the reason for why Zimmerman should have been on his guard for any suspicious characters in their neighborhood… being that Zimmerman was Captain of the neighborhood watch.
Since having heard that I have been thinking… Gated community… neighborhood watch?
Didn’t people move into gated communities for security?
Isn’t that the purpose for gated communities coming about?
Then why did Zimmerman’s complex… being that it was supposed to be a gated community need to have a neighborhood watch?
Something was not working here. Either the police in Sanford were not doing their job. Or the gate… usually some type of high brick wall… wasn’t working either.
Or maybe these people were just lying.
Maybe they hadn’t had those break-ins.
I would love to see the records regarding break-ins in Zimmerman’s neighborhood. And I would love to know exactly how long their neighborhood watch had been in effect?
Were these just a bunch of fearful people?
I mean who else would elect to live in a gated community… except for people who are fearful of the world around them.

he gate in gated communities is meant to keep out certain elements. These elements usually mean… the wrong kind of people… drugs and the woes that the rest of the world has to face simply by living among them.
Was Zimmerman’s complex actually under attack by the outside world?
If outsider’s were coming in… which as stated by the man in that video… some young black men robbing them… who was letting them in?
Most gated communities have security… mostly at the main entrance gate if nowhere else.
When I was in Altamonte Springs a small Florida town not far out from Sanford, where Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin… I recall visiting a friend whose parents lived in such a complex. While driving into the complex upon her directions to me… I drove through the front gate and up to her parent’s house. At the time it had not dawn on me that they had lived in a gated community. I saw it only as an up-scale new housing complex.
When you consider it… isn’t it kind of insane to believe you can lock yourself away from all the 
trouble of the world?
Evidently, Zimmerman’s housing complex had some problems. Otherwise there would not have been a need for someone like George Zimmerman… operating in the capacity in which they had assigned him… Captain of their neighborhood watch.
What were they paying all that money for… if their gated complex was no safer than that of the people on the other side of their wall, which was suppose to be their gate of secured safety.
Had none of them considered that the elements which lived inside
among them was just as dangerous… if not more so than many of the people on the opposite side of their wall?
Because George Zimmerman lived within their midst.

WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE ABOUT??? WHO IS EDWARD SNOWDEN…
Concerning that guy held up in Russia. The 1 who supposedly spilled all the beans on the U.S. 
eavesdropping on its citizens.
I really don’t get it. Didn’t George Orwell spill the beans on that years ago, when he wrote that book that Big Brother was watching us… or would be. Since the book was futuristic.
So, the future has arrived and we find that the United States and probably every other country on this planet, with any kind of good sense is listening in on its citizens. Lets face it in the world that we live in today… it probably is a good thing that somebody other than thieves, murders… spies… rapists and espionage people etc. may or may not be listening in.
Oftentimes it appears that the wrong parties have the upper hand. In watching some of these television shows a lot more contracts would be put out for somebody to kill his or her husband or wife over the phone… or some other kinds of craziness… if they didn’t believe somebody might be listening in.
We live in a time of great peril. Hadn’t you heard, ‘Evil is everywhere?’
When George Orwell wrote ‘1984’ few people would have believed that 1 person would have be able to predict so much in our changing times that would someday come to pass. But Orwell did.
Was he a prophet?
Or was he just a person with a keen sense of being able to look at things as they were, and then be able to assess how they would be some time in the distant future?
When Orwell wrote ‘1984’ it was just 1949. What had been going on in the world then?
Had the first man walked in space by then?
No.
Had Kennedy been elected?
No.
So, what was happening in 1949 that Orwell could sit down somewhere and write a book called, 1984, that predicted events and changes in the world which did eventually come about?
One major thing was television. Electronic gadgets were starting to come into the market. The first 
commercial computer was introduced… didn’t do well and wasn’t well received. But it was there.
Color came into the homes when RCA developed the first colorized television set. China became a communist country and Russia unleashed the making of its first atomic bomb. Family incomes were growing, consumer purchases were sky rocketing, and the U.S. had emerged out of the Great Depression… and the 2nd World War had come to an end, 4 years earlier in 1945.
Undoubtedly, the U.S. at this point had emerged as a great World power. 
The Cold War between Russia and America was fully under way, and America’s Allies and its strength was growing. The C.I.A. was becoming active in aiding in setting up governments, and placing men of soon-to-be-power into power around the world. And Orwell was a journalist working for the BBC… the British Broadcasting Company.
When Orwell, a British Subject, as they say… and working for the BBC… wrote ‘1984’ he depicted a world run by a government that was omnipresent… observing all its people at all times… an existence totally politically directed by those in control…and where Big Brother’s eyes and ears were everywhere… an ever present force.
When you go outside today… out to the street and look up you see cameras on the street lights… hanging off of roof tops. They even tiny little cameras and mics that can be placed into very unsuspecting places… even in public places all about. Places like hotels… lobbies… even bathrooms… school rooms… commuter rails… even on someone’s person… etc. Therefore, it should not surprise you that you are being recorded… or your actions watched. We all have watched enough TV to see how detectives can go and acquire video footage from surveillance cameras in lobbies… 
parking lots etc… in order to aid them in tracking down criminals. Cabs have them… police cars have them… and sometimes full camera crews.
If they can use such equipment to observe and track criminals… what made you think it could not be used to observe you too?
I was surprised when someone told me that all I had to do was Google my address… and see what came up. What came up was not just a picture… but a whole satellite viewing of where I live… up and down my street… all around my house.
Then take for instance GPS systems… they can tell your whereabouts at any given time. You use them as directional devices, but that directional device can be used to track you. Such devices are embedded inside vehicles too by manufacturers. So, if you fail to make your monthly payment they no longer have to search or try to figure out where you are… if you are trying to avoid repossession. No, not any more. They can push it up on a computer and come right to where you are… wherever that it . And no matter where that is they will take possession of their property, depriving you of a vehicle until payment and fees are paid in full.
Rental cars too have embedded in them the same thing. So that if a car is not returned timely the ren
tal agency can go and get their property, as well.
When I read things on the social network it amazes me just how much information people share over such public outlets as the internet. They list their jobs… home address… phone numbers… email addresses… schools they went to… towns they live in… had lived in… show pictures of their children… list the names of their relatives… and show their pictures etc…
When Edward Snowden decided that he could no longer work for whatever governmental agency
that had hired him here in the U.S.A… because his conscious bothered him concerning how this government is secretly listening in on conversations of American citizens… my only question that came to mind was this…
Out of all the countries Snowden could have ran away to… why 
Russia?
I have heard people speak of Russia… ex-citizens of that country. And that government routinely indulges in practices that cannot even begin to come close to just listening in on its citizens conversations.

I was sitting in one of my college classes once… which wasn’t so very long ago contrary to popular belief… and this Russian woman came into our class to visit and speak about her country. She was a guest of our Professor. She spoke of how in Russia you could not just go into business unless the government allowed you. She talked about how the Russian government controlled the newspapers and television… all the media outlets in Russia. And how everyone there… in Russia was under the restraint and control of the Russian government.
So, isn’t it ironic to anyone outside of myself… did you not think it strange that Edward Snowden would have ran from Japan to go to Russia 
trying to seek asylum there?
It is very contradictory at the very least.
We are living in the turmoils of the many diverse problems in this world today, which include bombing of public places to kill and/or hurt as many people as possible.
I am one who believes that if the crooks and hackers can assess our systems, read our emails, go into our accounts… listen in on our conversations, go up over the internet to case our exact location and homes… apartments… where we eat… what we buy… then why would Snowden’s disclosure that our government is doing it… be of any great surprise or shock to me or any one of us?
It wasn’t… least ways not to me. I was never upset when after 911 they started stopping subway trains in New York City to do random bomb searches. And neither were any of the other passengers on the subways I rode with… we all understood the times we had just stepped into when the Twin Towers came tumbling down after being flown into by those 2 airplanes.
Why should I be?
Being held up for those searches we all understood… as we knew they were trying to protect us. Save more people from being killed senselessly. So, if the government has taken to listening in on phone calls and watching people… whose fault is that?
Whose fault?
The perpetrators. Clearly, they would love our government to sit back and do nothing… but wait until the
next strike comes… like helpless children.
Did not some kind of plan have to go into effect in defense of people possibly flooding into America to destroy her, and those of us who live here.
Yes, I do believe that Snowden should be prosecuted. Because he chose that job. I am sure that he was not brought into that job without the U.S. government informing him that he was going to come in contact with highly classified information. And based upon that… and I would have to believe that any oath he may have taken in order to obtain that job… which I assume paid Ed Snowden royally… he had a duty and responsibility to live up to. Up to the secrecy and security that that position called for him to maintain.
Information that has to do with the security of our country, and the means by which that 
information is extracted should be left to those who are the safe-keepers. However, should methods and techniques such as using undue force, harassment and intimidation etc. to acquire that information… those things I am totally and 100 per-cent against. And these are things that I hope anyone being party do bring forward… but I cannot put listening-in-on… upon that same level.
Now, had Snowden’s information been of something along the nature that may have caused mass harm or life threatening… like say the government was doing something that was detrimental to us… our health and/or welfare then I would weigh in on Snowden’s right of consciousness to do the right thing by disclosing that 
info to us. But to merely tell us that we are being listening in on by the government… No, that information played more to divulging our country’s security practices, more than any personal life threatening issues that we all needed to be made aware of.
I cannot begin to tell you the number of times I called the New York Telephone company to complain about other people being on my phone line. I could hear whole 2-way conversations. And I was sure that they could do the same when it came to my calls.
There was a time in this country and most countries, I suspect… when telephones first got started that there were nothing but what they then called ‘party-lines.’ Telephone lines where you could pick up the phone and if someone was on that line talking to someone else, you just hung up and waited until you could 
get a clear line. So, the ability to listen in on phone lines… and phone calls has a very long history, which dates back to the beginning of telephone service.
Lets face it, we are all aware that most of the phone lines and/or computer internet lines that we work on and/or talk over, and text over are not secure. In fact, when the portable phones came into 
being… you remember those cordless phones with the long antennas. Everybody knew that you could be listened in on at any given time, due to the lines crossing, by anybody in your neighborhood.
I frankly do not know anyone who talks about anything really important over a telephone… or in an email… or in a text.
We all of us… Or should I say most of us remember that it was text messages that brought down the Mayor of Detroit in his escapades with his Office Administrator, Kwame Kilpatrick.
So, then how important was Snowden’s disclosure?
Not very. It just let out of the bag… and made public to all the world something that most people already understood to be happening or could possibly be happening anytime they picked up a telephone or cell phone to use it.
I would imagine that you would be very hard press at these times to find any country that is not using some type of surveillance system and/or listening devices in order to stem the tide of bombings, country take overs, aid in fighting against drugs and/or corruptness 
on ever level everywhere.
George Orwell when he wrote his book, 1984, saw many things. But he did not see the changes that would become necessary in a world that man would turn against man, for no unknown reason… or a just cause. Outside of shear hatred of a culture… and the freedoms of 1 country over another. Or a right to practice a different religion.
Snowden a 30 year old ex-C.I.A and National Security Agency employee leaked details on several top secret United States and British surveillance 
intelligence. A proclaimed Buddhist and whistle blower, Snowden grew up primary in North Carolina. And when all of this broken… this story on U.S.A secret surveillance programs… and about Snowden turning over these highly confidential government secrets, he had been assigned to a U.S. post in Japan, where which he later fled to Russia seeking asylum from the United States as a spy… espionage and theft of government information.
Well, God bless… Well, I’ve got to run. I’ve noticed that the campuses are starting to co
me alive again. Saw a few school buses drive pass me today… a clear signal that school is just about in again. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. The weather here is beautiful. Such a relief from all the tremendous heat we had been going through.
UPDATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2013… Russia has now given asylum to Snowden. Supposedly it is for a year. But some South American country had offered Snowden asylum prior… but Snowden did not accept it.
It all strikes me as being a bit too odd. Why would this guy want to defect to Russia… of all places?
If he is so big on human right… the right of the public citizens… our right to not have government listening in on our conversations… then why choose Russia, of all places?
I am beginning to believe that Snowden was… and is a Russian spy. From the very beginning this guy was a 
little to shady, as they say in ‘the hood.’ First he was ‘anonymous.‘ Then he ran away getting as quickly as he could to Russia?
This whole supposed whistle-blowing thing… I believe it will be proven to have been some kind of a scheme, cooked up as a well thought out plan for Snowden to have released American Intelligence claiming it was due to his conscience bothering him over what the American Government was doing. When it was nothing more than sheer just fabrication on his part and those working with him, to cover-up who Snowden really is… and just who he was really working for in the first place.
Truthfully speaking if they found out today that this whole thing was just 1 big fat lie… I would not be surprised.
Who in their right mind defects to Russia… a country with a history of routinely victimizing its citizens and invading their privacy?
Something is way out of whack here. And it just does not smell right.

A SEASON OF FORGETTING…They do come…
Can’t believe this. I had started a blog about something… can’t remember what… but evidently I failed to save it. It is nowhere to be found among thes
e records of things that I have written. Might be just as well… I suppose…
Alas… Nothing to do but to start another 1… and hopefully I will remember to save this 1. Needless say that over time…these last few months I have gotten a little bit older. So, though I had never done it before it is possible… that I just FORGOT.
Wow, don’t you hate that… when people start tying your forgetfulness to your age?
It can be annoying. Like when you were young you never forgot anything. I used to forget things all the time. In fact, I had to make it a habit to go back into the house… to double-check if I had unplugged the iron almost all the time before leaving for work. Or I would always turn back to look down at the lock… to make sure I had taken the key. Now, don’t tell you have never done that one.
I recall 1 night while in kitchen cooking there was a knock on the door… In fact, it happened to me at least twice but in 2 
different apartments that I had once lived in. A neighbor knocked on my door to inform me that I had come in and forgotten my key. Luckily, it happened at a time when you could still find people who were honest… and caring enough to knock and notify you.
What else have I forgotten…
Well, once having to drop off some papers down at the Courthouse… I got all the way down there only to begin digging in my bag only to discover that I had forgotten the papers.
I have also gotten to the gas pump only to remember that I changed jackets leaving my card… and cash at home.
Now, what is my earliest remembrance of me forgetting something?
Well, I cannot remember. But I do know this I have been forgetting things for a long time… and it didn’t just start when I celebrated my 60th birthday the other day. So, if you must lay it something do not lay my lack of being able to retain things to m
y age… simply say I have soooooo much on my mind. Yes, I think I like that better. Because truthfully that would be closer to the truth than anything else.
For all of my life I have been busy. And busy people are subject to forget things from time to time. Like how I lost my last blog… that I evidently forgot to save. Or maybe I never partially wrote 1 in the first place.
Now, that would be something huh?
Like me thinking that I had done something which I had not. Now, that I believe would be an age thing. Because I can’t remember having ever done anything like that before.
Could it be… I am getting old?
Oh, well… I am informed that if you live long enough you too will grow old. Then I want to see how much you remember.
If I fail to write anything between now and Christmas… let me say it now while I’m still thinking of it : )…. Merry Christmas…
This case of the missing blog reminds of a dispute I had with 1 of my professors. At the end of the semester the pro
fessor claimed I had not turned in an important essay assignment. Come on now… as you can tell I do nothing but write. I love to write… and that paper was about writing on a subject giving my opinion. Now, I really like writing things like that. So, then why did that professor say she never got my paper?
It is a mystery to me. As I had indeed given the woman my paper. I never miss class assignments. Well, not since I’ve gotten older. You know how being young is… you are carefree. So, when I was young years ago I was carefree in college… back in the ’70’s I did nothing but stay in the campus radio station. Which might be why I never quite became that lawyer… but a professional radio announcer 
instead.
Well, everybody doesn’t get offers to go professional in their first year of college… but I did. I never even thought about radio as a profession. But I guess God did. And it has carried me wide and far… and paid my bills for most of my adult life.
But going back to that professor. Until this dispute over my missing grade… because you see she had give me the paper back with a grade of -A. At that time I used to record the grades I got when my papers were handed back to me on my cla
ss syllabus. I had recorded the grade… but I was later unable to locate the paper to prove it.
The professor, however, said that she had never in her life ever lost a student’s paper. Which she really had not done… because she had returned the paper back to me.
However, if you have ever seen a teacher’s grading book you would understand how easy it is for an 
instructor to mark your work but give your grade to someone else. Because the names are all bunched up together. And sitting over a bunch of exams all night and day you start seeing cross-eyed. So, yes the woman probably gave my grade to some student whose name was near mine…either before it or after it. But I never got the grade. And I have never been able to find that paper.
But what was upsetting to me about the whole matter was the teacher’s attitude regarding it. This class was 1 I had taken 
7 years ago. So, it was long after my carefree days. At this point none of my classes were any real challenge to me 
mentally or otherwise. And I have never really been a dummie.
But the lady acted like she had never ever made an error in her life. And that really got to me… because I knew she had.
Having been a teacher there is 1 thing I know… a teacher knows her students. The teacher knows the slackers… and the 
students who study. The teacher knows the student that struggle with the subject matter… those who half do the work… and those who breeze their way through it. A teacher knows the good students from the bad ones. But for some reason this teacher seemed to have a problem differentiating between the 2. She didn’t know me at all.
I never missed a class… always participated… and turned in all my work… and on time. So, why didn’t that lady know me?
Because she didn’t want to is the only reason I surmise. And maybe to some degree I intimidated her.
Though I was not 1 of those returning older students who took up class time talking about myself… or about how different things were from when I first started college… or ever talked about any of my life experiences or work expertise… or any vacations my husband and I once took… Because well.. for (1) I never had a husband and… (2) I have sat in classes where older students took up a lot of class time talking about nothing… and that nothing did not even come close to anything dealing with our text… or the class discussion if there was one.
My work and expertise in the various fields I have worked overwhelms most people. And because I have done so much… 
most people wouldn’t believe it anyway.
Then too I have always been 1 who believes that I don’t have to whip out my resume… and in my case resumes… in order to prove anything. A smart person need only listen to how I speak and what I say… and they will gather it for themselves.
So, there was a dispute because due to that paper which that professor did something with my grade other than having given it to me… she marked me do
wn a whole grade for my class final grade. While having to fail to inform me that a paper was ever supposedly missing. It was not until I approached her to asked why I had not received a higher grade than the C+ she gave me… that the woman commenced to tell me about a paper I had not passed in.
Now, as I write this it sounds very shady doesn’t it?
Because I remember being in her class and hearing her reading from her grade book the names of students who owed her papers… and she never once called my name. But this woman had also said at the beginning of the term that she was not going to accept any papers late.
You know what?
I’m glad that I have them in Court right now… because now that I think about maybe it was I who did not know her.

FREUDIAN SLIP or GAFFE TODD AKINS is a DANGEROUS MAN…
Okay, I know I’m jumping on this band wagon rather late but… it is not that it got pass me. But rather I have been simmering it. You know thinking it over.
And not whether or not rape in any case or other … or under any circumstance is okay. But I have been just milling over what kind of person would say such a thing?
Rape under any circumstance is a fierce and violent act. And that says that it is a criminal act… and one which can never be justified.
By its sheer name and meaning… we all know that rape is an act which is forced upon another party, and very much without their consent… that is a crime. Hence, it is illegal and an act of aggression.
So, then how could such an act ever be classified as alright or okay… with anyone?
I have written many blogs about sex and women. About people who have committed some heinous crimes
upon innocent unsuspecting victims. Crimes against infants sexually, as well as, other small children… and it sickened me. Often causing me to leave off from writing anything further on it.
I even stopped watching television because it seemed to me that ever movie or episode of any law and order like program was a crime being perpetrated against a woman …girl or child.
I wondered how a channel such as Lifestyles or WE could call themselves channels for women, when they only programmed were movies where women were being victimized?
It was sickening. And I could not understand it… so I shut it off.
Now, here comes this Missouri State Representative in a speech while out campaigning for a Senate seat of a woman, who makes the most profoundly stupid statement anyone could possibly make in these most modern times. And all I can think is-
“There must be some skeletons in his closet.”
Because only people who perpetrate such crimes would believe them to be okay.
If ever there was a Freudian slip… this guy made it. But if Freud is right… the slip was a thinking and/or 
belief within this Akins guy from the very beginning… before he let it slip out.
Rape by its nature is a forcible act and can, therefore, never be considered anything other than an act of violence against whomever it was perpetrated upon.
But perhaps silently Akins’ thinking is really the thinking of many men. Perhaps this would explain why women who have gone to court against attackers in rape crimes… almost always are made to look like the criminal themselves. They are unrobed… and brought low. They are slandered… and their names muddied… while they are dragged through the mud.
I will never forget Anita Hill and her trip up to Capitol Hill. She was treated so badly by the Party that she actually was a member of, the Republicans. They made her look dirty… wanton… ambitious and willing to do anything kind of woman. And then they wanted to make a joke of her.
It was Ted Kennedy who final stood up and told them that they should be ashamed of themselves for their mean and ugly behavior in an effort to 
discredit her testimony against Clarence Thomas, for an appointment as a Chief Justice to the Supreme Court.
Thomas himself was never attacked nor any of the acts that Anita described that he perpetrated against her, a then interning law student fearful that her boss, Thomas, would ruin her hopes of any kind of legal career, in his effort to coerce her into a sexual relationship… which she did not submit to.
Thomas needless to say was admitted a Supreme Court Judge, a position he will hold for the remainder of his life, if he chooses to. While Anita Hill, I have no doubt, had to battle through a lot of bad press for years regarding her legal ambitions.
Was it because she was a woman… and he was a man?
Have men no responsibility for their actions when it comes to the negative things they do?
When Herman Cain was running for the Presidency earlier this year… it was amazing to see all the women in his closet, who had been paid off by the company, Godfather Pizza, that he had headed. Women who Cain had violated or attempted to violate in 1 way or other for sex.
I guess we have only to look at the Bible to see how men carry on about 
women and sex. In the story of the woman being caught in adultery… it is said that she was caught ‘in the act.’ But it is she and she alone who is dragged before Jesus for judgment.
Why?
Because many men do not accept their acts as being anything other than natural.
Oftentimes they blame the woman for their actions saying-
“She always wore short and revealing clothes.”
“There was something about how she smelled when she came around me.”
“It was her walk… you know?”
No, I don’t know.
I don’t know why anyone would feel it was or is alright to sexually or otherwise violate someone.
I had a boss… he was my manager… the manager of the sales force I worked for. As often as he could he would to drive me over to Jersey, which was the territory he had given me to work in.
While in the car he would always talk to me about sex. He would say how coke… meaning cocaine… made him horny… and a bunch of other things. I tuned him out as much as I could… only answering to whatever I
had to answer to.
Too bad Anita Hill had not hit Capitol Hill before I got that job… or some time thereafter. I would have owned that radio station… truly. Because I would have taken them to the bank. I could not stand that man… and it 
was not until later that I found out that he had been robbing me of sales I had gotten. Imagine that…
But I endured him …until I finally left that job and began my own company, Queen Bee Multi-Media Advertising & Consulting Agency. But women in the workforce are forced to endure so much when they are surrounded by a group of men, or fall upon the attention of an unscrupulous boss. 
And even today the playing field is still not fair or much better when it comes to women… but yet we endure.
And most of our endurance comes from the fact that we have families… and for a lot of women they are the head of their family. So, they have no choice but to put up with it… whatever the ‘it’ is.
So, enter this Akins fellow and opens his big mouth… just like that group of men who dragged that woman 
to Jesus. They were not without sin… and dare I say… I think Mr. Akins may not be either. And I think Freud may back me up on that 1.

MURDERING WOMEN STEALING BABIES…LIVING THE BIG LIFE ON the POLITICAL SCENE…
It is baffling to me the times we now live in… and just how we happened to get here????
They are… the times we are now living in… they are strange and seem so foreign to me. The sickness of the crimes… the extreme insanity… and cruelity that seems to be abounding in these times.
Who ever before ever heard of women ripping unborn babies out the bellies of pregnant women for the purpose of stealing their children?
To read story… after story… Well, to find headline after headline of such is frightening to me. Not frightening in that I am afraid it will happen to me… because I am not pregnant. And doubt that I will be ever again.
But frightening in that such things are happening to anyone.

But how insane can you get to prepetrate such a cruel act upon another woman?
Or any acts of crime and/or crimes upon anyone?
I have not particularly cared for a lot of people. Well, not so many as that. It is really not my nature to distain people. And certainly if for some reason I should… to let it mount up in me turning into some kind of twisted wackco thang. No. I think not. I have neither the time or energy… to linger there in those kinds of deep and dark places in my mind. I am much too busy.
But for those where perhaps I might have found some kind of fault in… I have never thought about taking out or enacting any type of criminal act against them. Though I must admit to picking up a baseball bat or 2… Okay, maybe 3 or 4… Oh, alright… maybe 5 or 6 times… just to get my thought through …or to go after somebody. But that was all before I became
saved. And never without due cause.
But I have never looked upon any woman… pregnant or otherwise …and wished that I was her… or that I had her baby. And then came up with a plan to replace her… or to steal her unborn… or born child. But people have. Some people have.
They truly and really have.
People try to pretend to be other people… and all kinds of craziness.
There was this guy in New York City who killed an elderly man, so that he could take his apartment and live in it. He also was living off the man’s social socurity… until they caught up with him.
But it goes beyond being sick… or insane… or being just plain crazy.
How dumb is it that you would get a knief, overcome some woman, and turn yourself into some kind of surgeon… cutting open her belly, remove the unborn child…and leave the woman bleeding to death?
While these predators go around for the most part pretending to have given birth to the infant… if it survives… that they had illegally taken…while committing murder in order to obtain it.
Who would do this kind of thing???????
Who thinks up this kind of stuff????
Though clearly they all look like fruit cakes… and perhaps I should not slander fruit cakes in such a way. Because I used to kind of like them.

And they are women of all colors, types, body sizes, come from different states, countries etc… etc… etc… And now they vary in ages as well. A 14 and 13 years did the exact same thing.
They take the baby from the belly of another woman in order to pretend that they had given birth to the baby. A baby that they either lost some how by mis-carriage or whatever. Or they never were pregnant with in the first place. So, they took the infant from the mother’s womb… so they could- Now, get this… let me say this slowly…
So they could pretend to some man that it was his baby.
I cannot go any further with this.
Because if the truth be told there are some things which I just do not have any patience with. There are times that I think tax-payer’s money should not be wasted on. There are lots of ways tax-payers would be better served by the tax dollars taken out of each and every pay check, then by paying for cases like these that really do not warrant trials.
I know… I know…it would open the door to many of us being locked away for no cause at all. Because the system itself needs correction. BUT…
When you think about the economy… about the millions upon millions upon millions of people out of work… who 
could use another extension to their unemployment benefits …or whatever have you. There are plenty of places where money could go that would really serve some type of legitimate societal interest. But not the paying of lawyers and court costs for people like these women, in these cases cutting up women to steal unborn infants from their mother’s womb.
Why bother?
What would be their defense?
What defense could they have?
“I was crazy.”
We do not need to waste valuble court time to hear that.
And we have not even began to talk about the health issues that may surround the infants… or the lives and outcome of the murdered women’s other children, and family members if she had any.
Perhaps, it doesn’t sound Christian like to you… and I am a Christian. 
I love the Lord… and He loves me. But in Biblical text we are informed to not lust after our neighbors possessions… it is called coveteness. Or to not envy them…that is coveteness too… and to do right by all men. And that ”thou shalt not kill.” Or “steal.”
So, I do not advocate killing such people… but I do believe they should be locked away. And kept away forever.
Perhaps, you feel differently. But the acts in the stories listed above were senseless, hateful acts enacted upon peo
ple who were probably very unsuspecting… and very very innocent victims.
When I went up to read a story on 1 woman cutting a woman and stealing her infant, I in my wildest imagination never expected to see a listing of stories…one after another of simular acts.
I recall when I read the first story of this nature. It was some maybe 6 or 7 years ago.
The story centered around 2 women who had met over the internet… Craiglist or myspace ….or something like it.
One of the women was pregnant and the other woman befriended her. Over a period of time as their friendship grew… I guess… the pregnant woman gave the other woman her address. Whereupon near the time of pregnant woman’s delivery date for the birth of her child, the other woman went to whatever state where the pregnant woman lived and performed surgery upon the pregnant woman, killing her and removing the unborn infant from her body.

That was the very first time I had ever heard of that kind of story. So, it was a shock for me to find story after story after story… of women in various states all having done the same exact thing since that initial story.
This copy-cat thing is ridiculous. And the only way to deal with such things is to deal harshly with people 
who commit them.
But because the mind of people today is so warped the news sources should not divulge so much information about certain kinds of heinous crimes.
Also, I was grossly turned off by that reality show that showed doctors actually performing surgeries. Don’t know whether or not it still comes on… but is the need?
Who really needs to watch shows like that?
Or do our children really need video games that depict people realistically being blown apart, or shot to death, or cut up etc… etc…?
What are we developing here?????
One can clearly state that there is little reason for why the times are as they are today. Truly. There are a bunch of heartness conscienceless people walking around today. And we have only ourselves to blame… because of what we allow either in our homes via the television …or via our children’s video games… or in the movies on the big screen… or in the magazines… or whatever else and wherever else people consume negative images whether it be through music, or music videos, as well… we allow it.
It is amazing to me the things that people will get up and go marching against… such as same sex-marriages. Something which may never affect them, their family or anyone that they know. But they will picket against it…. vote against any politican remotely in favor of it, they will form rallies and bus trips to go to capitol statehouses. But they say nothing about what is allowed to strem into their homes, on their radios… through out their movies or even from page to page of the magazines put out form our consumption.
Whether Bobby marries Bobby or not is not anything that really deal with any of us personally. But the impact of what comes across the airwaves of our televisions and radios… and what is printed in our books and magazines, and movies does. And it can be harmful… hurtful… and can produce and inspire all kinds of criminal and violent acts.
But we say nothing.
We said nothing to the 10 Commanments being removed from Courtroom halls and buildings. We said nothing really about prayer being removed from schools… or the conversation of removing ‘In God we trust’ off of our currency.
When will we say something to something that really counts, is the 
question?
When will we ceased to be tossed to and fro with every whim like mindless and blind puppets?
There are a lot of things that should be challenged… and that serve no useful social purpose. Such as television shows that show people actually getting cut up during surgeries. And then we wonder why there suddenly is a rash of people out there using surgerical techniques while perpetrating various crimes.
It seems that there are those who have been voted into political office who think not about those whom they vowed to represent… but entered into the arena of politics so that they could establish some kind of name for themselves.
They consider not the needs of those whom they are vowed to serve and 
represent… whether or not they voted them in or not.
When 1 goes into political office it not for a chosen few… but for the masses of which they are said to be over their district… ward or whatever have you.
That being said…
“Why would any politican in his right mind vote down a plan that could
possibly put millions back to work?”
Politics. That is the reason why.
There is no good reason behind hindering a bill that would put people to work rebuilding the infrastructure of this country. Clearly, it is a plan that could not fail… because bascially it calls for a lot of manual labor. As opposed to a bunch of computers or robots doing the work.

In a vote of 50 to 49 Obama’s Job Bill was defeated in the U.S. Senate. Every single Republican 
voted against the bill… inclusive of 2 turn-coat Democrats, Ben Nelson, Nebraska, and Jon Tester, Montana. The Jobs Bill needed 60 Senators to vote in favor of it in order for it to pass… to begin the process of putting thousands of Americans back onto the work rolls again.
There are people who do a lot of clicking and clacking… mostly because they want attention. Almost all of the Tea Party people can be classified as clickers and clackers. They only want some 
attention. Perhaps, they even have visions of themselves rising up out of the ranks to become some kind of major political player… or the next Barack Obama. Though they would never say that.
But they click and clack… posture… and pose… and never do anything for anyone. Because they can’t see beyond their own nose and selfish political goals.
The Jobs Bill needed to be passed. Not for the sake of Washington… but for the sake of the millions who have been out work …and can’t seem to find any solutions to their non-working dilemmas. They have been looking… but there is nothing out there. 
Wouldn’t any bill that created any amount of substantials jobs been better than nothing?
To the people without 1 it would. But to a bunch of politicans who already have it made in the shade… quasi professions …politicans made up of lawyers… and now some doctors and businessmen… what do they have to worry about?
Their families are fed. Their bills are all being paid. They don’t have to worry about adequate health care… and they’veall got a job… supposedly representing you and me.
Every which way President Barack Obama has tried to re-boot this economy… and to get it in gear and restart it… along comes a bunch of Republican Politicans who would rather sabotage the President… rather than aid in helping America out of a dilemma that a former President… a Republican like themselves… put us al
l in.
A man who was a known and proven liar… yet nobody ever called him ‘liar.’ Yet, that word has been thrown at President Obama by so many Republicans… it makes you wonder what planet were they on while George W. Bush was sitting in the White House as President of the United States?

Girl 12… babies having something…
I don’t know maybe I have been sleeping with my head buried under a rock or something. Or maybe I am just old fashion…or maybe it is just that I think that any child 12 and under should not be pregnant …or much less
giving birth.
There has got to be something that I am missing.
Could it be that I am just out dated?
I am out of touch?
Has life just passed me by?
What happened to the laws that prohibited such a thing?
What happened to moral outrage?
What happened to protecting children from those who prey upon them…even those within their own age rage… and/or within their own families?
Something is wrong. And I cannot be the only 1 who can see this.
Have we slipped so far away that we no longer care about moral values… proper 
protocol… and what is happening amongst our children?
Have we gotten so caught up in gay rights… same-sex marriages… illegal immigrants …escalating gas prices …mounting foreclosures …lack of jobs …lack of sufficient health care… etc… etc.. etc… that we are missing everything else?
Can you honestly sit there and believe that there is nothing wrong with an eleven year old girl… or 10-year-old girl having sex?
And conceiving and bring forth babies?
Why would people get on buses and venture to state capitols to protest same-sex marriages… and barely raise an eyebrow over 10-year-old …and 11-year-old children being taking advantage of sexually?
Why would protesters parade outside abortion clinics chanting and demonstrating against abortions… and shrug off news of young girls making a pact to get pregnant?
Or toss aside the headline that said-
“12-year-old gave birth.”
Perhaps there is something wrong with me. Maybe I have lost focus. Maybe even my mind. Maybe I don’t know what is or is not really important any more. But it does seem to me that 9, 10, 11, 12 year old girls having sex and conceiving babies… is absolutely wrong. And every offender who would cross those lines should be held to the highest letter of the law… and shown no mercy.

Land Court… Me… and the Judge… and God…
Today I had a court date in Land Court. Blessingly, God blessed me not to have to travel to our state capitol to have to do it.
By the time I got off the bus… jumped the train… then walked up the hill… I could barely walk into the courtroom the last time. In fact, I could hardly stand when they called my case before the judge.
Seeing that the judge suggested that we do our next court date by phone in order to make it easier on me. At first I was resistant to that idea because I felt I could better sway the judge… be more effective or otherwise do more and better for my case by standing before the judge than I could over the phone.
But I forgot 1 key factor.
It is not me… that I now depend upon when I walk into a courtroom…
or anywhere else for that matter… but the Lord.
I have come to know that if you truly trust Him… then you have to act like you trust Him. It is not about saying ‘I trust the Lord.’ But it is about putting that into action… showing it forth so that it may manifest to be so.
So, I longer study… or pour over anything pining or worrying about the outcome. I never try to even think about what it is that I am suppose to dred… because I do not think about. I do not let it interfere with my days or nights any longer… because God has said ‘cast our cares upon Him.’
And let me tell you… that when you do… you will not believe the outcome.
Truly… truly cast your cares upon Him.
Well, today when I got up… I went about my normal routine. I read a chapter in my Bible. But I decided not to eat anything… I just wanted to mediate on God and what was going to be ahead of me in a couple of hours… that court conference call.
For the first time I glanced over the documents that the lawyer representing the City had sent to me. Pulled out my calculator and started examining the figures for the past 4 years of property taxes owed. Trying to find some discrepancies… and when you are dealing with figures there will always be some somewhere.
Finally, the phone rang. It was the court.
As the judge began to speak to me she informed me that the lawyer for the City wasn’t feeling well. I’m thinking wow… it’s over there will be a postponement for another date… and it will give me some more time.
I knew I needed time because no matter which way it went I was going to have to come up with some money. So, I needed time in order to save up an amount that might be agreeable… since there was no issue that the property taxes due. And so…the issue would come down to how much can you pay now… if any… and work out some kind of payment arrangement.
So, I was happy to believe that the case was going to get pushed back again.
But then the judge said that the lawyer for the City has laryngitis and is having trouble speaking. But if you have any problems hearing or understanding just interrupt and I will have her repeat it.
When the lawyer talked I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. I turned up my phone and it was worst. But I decided to listen as closely as I could.
In order to try and save the voice of the City lawyer… the judge had me do most of the 
talking. In beginning I suddenly remembered our last court session and what questions I had posed about the total amount of taxes owed upon my parent’s property. There had been places in the statements from the City where the amount owed leaped 2 to 3 thousand dollars from 1 quarter to another. So, of course… I questioned this along with some other points I had found in the documents sent to me.
By the time our session was over the judge said send copies of what you have to the City lawyer, and I am sure that the 2 of you should be able to work out something. And if not the court is always here.
And then the judge said-
“And you can get those documents to her when you can. And send copies to the court.”
So, the judge did not schedule another court date and she left it up to me as to how soon I could send the documents in question.
No payment schedule was set.
No return court date.
Nothing.
And through it all the lawyer for the City never said anything… because she could not talk. She had laryngitis.
It is amazing. A few months ago the City lawyer had sent court notices to me and all my siblings that they were in possession of my parent’s house… and that we had 30 days to respond. And when I called the number and spoke with the man handling it… he demanded $2,000 now in order to stop the process.
And about 4 months later… that process has yet to see the light of day.
And the ultimate decision lays in the hands of the court… and the judge had just finished giving me some more time.
Wow…
God is truly something.
Some may say why do I give all the credit to God?
First, you would have to know when events are beyond your control there can only be ONE somebody who can turn them in your favor. And that somebody is God.
I write this blog for those of you going through something. Tons of people are going through foreclosure still and so many other things. And though it may seem bleak… or impossible for you to overcome… I implore you to just turn it over to Jesus and see for yourself … first hand just what I am talking about.
No lawyer… or doctor … or even judge… can beat God at what He does. And every lawyer…. doctor … and judge… and everybody in between have to submit to the will of God… like Pharaoh.
God hardened Pharaoh’s heart… until He decided to soften it. 
And when God softened Pharaoh’s heart… Pharaoh did as God desired him… he let God’s people go… the Israelites. But it was all God’s will… the hardening to not let the people… and the softening to let the people go.
And it was God’s will in land court today… what that man working for the City had said to me some months ago has not gone to naught. I did not have to pay him $2,000 …and that was back in January when he told me that. It is now March… and I am still here and nobody has a hammer over my head anymore… demanding anything from me by way of my parent’s property taxes… or other funds.
That is not to say… the taxes or anything else is not owed. But it is to say… that time is on my side… through the sheer grace and mercy of God. I yet have time to set my parent’s house in order. Thank you, Lord God…

Sometime during the course of your day just take the time to look up and observe the beauty that God has planted up there for you to enjoy.
Oh, yeah… been sharing the house with 1 of my nieces. My sister put her out.
She is only 16 and has gone totally crazy over some boy.
Beautiful girl…smart and everything… and I do mean everything going fo
r herself. ‘A’ student… on the honor society at school… captain of the school soccer and volleyball team… And BAMB!
All of it down the toilet after meeting this boy. Who happens to be 17 and in the 10th grade. LOSER. And she has had sex with him… and now she is out in the streets with me… sharing the roof over my parent’s house.
I can’t wait until my sister gets over being mad. Noooo… but really I love my niece to death. She is not bad… totally not. But recently she has made some very bad choices.
So, currently she is in ‘in-house’ at school because she has skipped tons of classes. Her grades have dropped from the ‘A’s’ to ‘E’s.’
How do you do that?
The spirit of lust. People have lost their homes and families… marriages… children… all of their friends etc… etc… all because lust caused them to do some ugly… and bad things.. say some things… and forced everyone who truly cares for them to turn away from them.. simply because the person cannot hear… nor can they see. They have eyes to see… but cannot see. And ears to hear …but cannot hear.
So, I thought she was going home Monday… But my niece slipped up again. She went missing for 4 hours while she was at school.
Of one thing I am sure… my niece wants to hurry and get out of here. Because her aunt is no joke. Sometimes you just gotta seem to meaner than you really are. And none of my nieces or nephews play with me. But… they love me the most if the truth be told. I know they do… and it is because I love them… I have become to be an enforcer. But I do it all in love… and I can laugh and have fun with them and still enforce.
Now my niece is counting the days when she can go back home… and I know they can’t come soon enough. It is all she can talk about-
“Auntie, do you think my mom this… and my mom that.”
Mom come and ge your daughter… she is driving me crazy.

What is the question here…
What is responsibility?
When somebody espouses a whole lot of trash talking in the ghetto…
Well, they just better be able to back it up or say nothing.
That is how it is in the hood.
Now, I have never lived in the streets or out on the lane …or down on the Blvd. But I do know that when you fool around and talk a lot of junk you better be ready to back it up… or suffer the consequences.
During the pre-term elections recently held this past November… Sara Palin did a whole lot of big 
talking… before and after. Even as far as pasting up a bunch of cross-hairs upon certain campaign areas that she and her supposed ‘tea party’ crew… or group of flunkies… were aiming to take over.
This past weekend in 1 of those areas … a congresswoman was shot in the head and 6 others were killed in an area that Palin singled out on her cross-hairs map.
That sounds like a whole of lot of big time talk. The which if it had been done in the hood it would have meant all out and out war. Because it would have certainly meant that you were out to get somebody.
And it would have meant that you were gunning for them. And in hood talk… that means to kill ’em.
You don’t go around drawing pictures like that in the hood… and nobody knows what it means?
No, that is a loud and crystal clear message… ask any black folks.
Frankly, such a thing should be as illegal as shouting “FIRE” in crowded place.
I do not think that it is a coincidence that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, a Arizona State 
Representative, and liberal political was shot in the head some 2 days ago.
Nor do I believe that the shooting was some ramdom act of some dissatisfied Arizonan voter.
No, I think that the picture is a lot bigger than that.
It is a picture of hate mongering and fear embedding that became very popular under the Bush administration. Something that the Republicans have become very famous …or should I say… infamous for doing. Then turning around and crying that they ‘had nothing to do with it.’
But the tactics are theirs. And they pull them out whenever a political race is hot… meaning close… and when they wish to get an upper hand.
So, they set about evoking weak-minded people to do tragic things like shooting an innocent woman in the head, who was working hard to the benefit of the people which she represents.
And, yes.
Sarah Palin is to blame along with those who coach her. And they need to go up on charges of conspiracy. For acting to incite individuals to go out and commit murder or other type of criminal acts against politicians that they are against.
If a person worked in an insane asylum and gathered up the interest of a resident in that asylum provoking that person to hate someone enough to hurt or even kill them. And the insane asylum 
person upon his release goes in search of the person they had been provoked against… and somehow hurts or otherwise kills the person… who would be to blame?
Clearly, the person who provoked the insane person to do so.
And the law would seek that person out.
So, why should Sara Palin and her people be any different?
This world is full of a lot of sick and/or weak-minded individuals who listen and believe a lot of the political rhetoric that they hear… watch or read. A lot of it is devicely twisted to anger people falsely. And in cases such as in the Palin camp… they work to 
implant seeds of violent acts.
And anyone who does this is looking for a violent outcome.
Why else would anyone put up gun cross-hairs if they were not insinuating that someone should go out and shot somebody that they have set their sights upon?
That is the only reason why someone would do that.
And to do so is illegal.
And is certainly not a joke.
Lets say the shoe was on the other foot… and the congresswoman and launch a website and put 
up a map with gun cross-hairs on it. And in the center of those cross-hairs was Palin and her family.
What do you think would have been Palin’s out-cry?
Would there have been one?
Yes. You bet… and a loud one. And Palin would have been seeking some type of action. Maybe even legal I have no doubt.
The Republicans love double standards. They can play certain games… but not you.
You can’t… because they are quick to cry ‘foul.’

If a group of cons or crooks…. or drug cartel…. or thugs had mastermind such a thing without a doubt they would have all been rounded up by now and charged.
Is this not the same thing when a drug dealer puts a gun into the hand of little child 12 or 13 -year-old, and tells them to go out and shoot somebody?
They know that the little 12 or 13-year-old is a kid, and not likely to serve a sentence as long as theirs would be, if they went out and perpetrated the crime themselves.
What is the difference between using weak-minded people that do what some of these politicians tell them to do via their commercials and other rhetoric used to poison the minds of such people, in order to have them go out and do their dirty work?
I am for justice and totally against people who would ever try to incinerate anyone against somebody simply because we do not agree politically… or religiously. Or for any reason really.
In the 1980’s when the anti-abortion acted in similar ways… the outcome was abortion clinics being bombed, and abortion doctors were killed.
How crazy was that?
You don’t believe in abortion but you blow up people in an abortion clinic?
Or go out shooting abortion doctors?
What kind of life did they believe in?
Only that of the fetus… and not that of the adult people they were killing?
Is life not life?
Are we all to agree on every subject?
Just how boring would life be if we all submitted ourselves out of fear to being liked minded because someone was holding a gun over us.
There is a sickness that prevails and is festering, least ways in this country, that makes 1 re-consider George Orwell’s book. And perhaps we need not look at Big Brother as a government system… but as a political party. The Republican Party.
Well, this is my first post for the New Year.
I was so busy prior to stepping into this New Year that I literally barely got any sleep for almost 8 days. A whole lot of legal work to take care of.
First of all, the city had come up against my parent’s house for property taxes. And I had to act really quickly in order to try to head it off.
So, that is still in the works. Hopefully, we will get a court date and God will give the Judge to be kind.
Then there some other legal matters that I wanted to have out of hair before stepping into 2011… and finally I did manage to do that too.
So, you see I wasn’t just goofing off.
And I had to go out to shovel snow 2 times this past weekend. But thank goodness it was neither heavy or a lot of snow.
So, all is well.
And I am wishing you a great and highly prosperous year.
And thank goodness God is still on throne.

Celebrating women… Mrs. Dorothy Height’s passing… and women we cannot applaud …what some women won’t do…
I don’t know where you live…but here where I live it’s cold. And I do mean cold.
This morning before leaving out I made me a bowl of Cream of Wheat. Then I made sure I put on a coat.
Yes, a coat. Because… Well, because it is cold.
Though in speaking with one of my mother’s cousin’s I found out that they are having 90 degree weather in Florida. Wow…90 degree weather already. It is going to be smoldering there in Florida this coming summer if those kind of temperatures hold up.
But here it has been cold. And though I had been denying it.
I am now ready to face the hard and very cold facts…it’s cold. And I am not imagining it.
So, getting off the bus with my mind set on getting in the house an
d having myself a big hot bowl of steaming soup, but I decided to head in the opposite direction upon stepping off the bus instead.
Yes, my conscience was bothering me… because I haven’t blogged in a short while. So, I decided that even if I just started it tonight then I could finish it tomorrow. And that would be so much better than not getting started with this at all.
So, that is just what I am doing. Because I have so much I want to talk about… I just know that there is no way that I am going to be through before this lab closes 
at 11 PM tonight…and it is just about 7:30 PM now.
First, let me start by mentioning the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Height. Though I had never met her, I certainly did know of her.
Mrs. Height along with her many years of 
work as a Civil Rights activist, and as head of the National Council of Negro Women… she was also known for her signature hats which she always sport without fail through the years.
She passed on Tuesday, April 20th in Washington, DC after several weeks of illness. It is sad to hear that she suffered. But truly she exemplified all the
strengths and character of the women with whom she had the great fortune and I am sure pleasure to walk 
among… such as Mary McLeon Bethune, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Betty Shabazz, Coretta 
Scott King, Myrlie Evers, Ida B. Wells, Shirley Chisholm, Fannie Lou Hamer, Barbara Jordan, Bernice Reagon, Bessie Coleman and so many others.

It is odd that I am writing this blogg on this topic today. I never plan these things 
and never have any idea where I am going when I first start. And believe me that some people have written me pointing that out to me. But I welcome your comments…good or bad…or indifferent feel free to comment or drop me a note or 2.
Since this past Sunday was Mother’s Day…you really would have thought I had planned this. But I did not.
I love celebrating women…and it has nothing to do with me being a past lesbian.
Maybe it is that my mother was a woman…my grand-mother was one…my great grand-mother 
was one… and all my aunts and nieces and most of my friends are one. And I think of them as being 
phenomenal people…and women. Clearly, Mrs. Height and all the women that I mentioned above were phenomenal women…but the women I am going to mention now are not. Some how they both fell well below the mark.
Many times while surfing over the internet looking for things…mostly to buy…I sometimes come across things or an article that sparks my saying something. And these 2 stories did just that…though one of them I saw on the Oprah Show.
But this story I came across over the internet. In reading it …it made me wonder-
“What women won’t do for a man.”
What this women did was insane…and she is not the first. Though if I were a Judge…she would have never been able to walk into my court with such an excuse…though I do not know exactly what her lawyer or lawyers plead for during her court trial. But if I had been the Judge it would not have been that…because what this woman did and the reason behind it was so sorted and sick …and just plain selfishness.
This woman was a grandmother…and had been a school teacher…who at the time
she committed this heinous crime against a young mother…she was 42 years old.
She was not some uneducated woman out in the streets. But I guess we may all very well agree that her mind wasn’t half as good or as decent as many of those women who we so often look down upon, when we come across them.
I will not call this woman’s name…not because I fear being sued or anything. But I do not want to add to her ever becoming famous or known. I feel she should go down into the depths without fanfare or pity. She was indeed evil. Her mind was without a doubt twisted…and she did it for a man.
This is what she did…she sought out some woman who was pregnant along with a group of thugs…beat and killed…and tortured. Then she stole the woman’s infant child to pretend that the child was her’s in an attempt to fool some man…with the hopes of being able to keep him.

And I think what bothered me more about this story is that there are those rallying to keep her from being executed for the insane criminal act which she committed.
I am sorry…and yes I am very much a Christian. But I have no tolerance for people who allow the devil to use them in such a vile and evil way. And by judging my her most recent picture she seems to be highly content.
We have all…I imagine…been the recipient of some vile and most evil thoughts. The kind of thoughts that came to us that were so foreign to us. It was some insane maybe even immoral act…or something that we would never imagine doing. And yes…I too have experienced it.
I have a cousin who told me of such an incident which occurred with her. She told me that she used to be an alcoholic, and once while sitting at a table the thought came to her to get up from the table where she was sitting. She said she was told to take up a fork and begin stabbing a baby…a little infant that was nearby…and to stab it to death.
My cousin told me that at that moment is when she realized she had to 
stop drinking. She recognized the thought at being crazy and that it had frightened her…because the impulse to do it was so strong. And she said that she never drink again since that night.
In looking up info for this blog I came across information on Malcolm X’s 
grandson. The grandson who set his grand-mother on fire while she laid sleeping. Betty Shabazz suffered for nearly 2 months or more before finally succumbing to those injuries.
I have often 
wondered about her grandson whom she loved so much…a problem child…and perhaps is still troubled today. A child that she loved so much that she rather to have him come live with her than to see him placed some place and locked away, because no one could control him. And at the age of 12 he killed his own grand-mother.
What I have thought about on the times I have since reflected on him…was what went through his head that he would have done such a thing to someone who loved him so dearly?

It cannot be argued that some of toughest demons to resist are those which live inside of us. It is sad. But when crazy thoughts come into our minds we must with all our might resist them. A very large part of it is learning how to pray…and how to call upon the name of the Lord. It is what my cousin did. And it works…I know it for myself.
Now, on to the story I watched on Oprah last Thursday or Friday.
I had been in New York when the story broke…but like most people over time I had
forgotten it. But if I thought the woman I wrote about above was evil that goes doubly for Vanessa Jackson…whom one of my brothers informed me was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Note in the picture above…you will notice that 4 of the children look like something is wrong with them. They are different from the other children…not quite as well dressed…and if you look real closely you see that they were not as well…
Well, healthy looking…meaning not well nourished. Because they were not. That woman and her husband straved those little boys…while she, her husband and their biological children all eat well and seemed to be quite happy.
I do remember this story when it first broke…
Some neighbors called 911 because late one night they heard a noise outside their window. And when they looked out they thought they saw what looked to them like a very young child rampaging through their garbage looking for food.
That young child was the boy in the picture to the right of the woman. The little tiny boy who looks so light and fragile. He was actually 19 years old and weighed under 60 pounds. And look at her own children…some of them quite plumb… as well as, she and her husband.
I was dumbfounded when I listened to Oprah interview the brothers of that boy.
How could anyone be so heartless and so cruel?
These people called themselves ‘saved.’ They took those boys to church with them and their other children every Sunday. These people adopted those boys.
On the show the boys told how the woman would dress them in 3 or 4 sweaters under their clothes to make them appear fatter. How we gave them pancake mix to eat…and would tell them that they only had ‘x’ amount of time to eat it.
What kind of depraved people exist in this world?
Is money that important?
Vanessa Jackson and her husband, who has since died while in prison, went to church where they…I hope…were taught ‘love’…and that it is better to give than to receive. But somehow they felt that taking and cheating…and being evil and cruel was a better way.
They straved those little boys…and aided in seriously debilitating their growth, physically and mentally.
I could never love money that much. The world is filled with sick and degenerate people. I am so thankful to God that He gave me a mind to not to be 1 of them. And I hope that you aren’t either.

My Mother’s Day started with my cousin Jean…who loves reading 
her name in my blogs…waking me up early. It was then followed by my son telling me to get up and get dress because he was taking me to breakfast.
He greeted with a large bouquet of flowers in a tea cup. They are so beautiful…and I love my tea 
cup.
