JUANITA AT IT AGAIN…

I just happened to be on youtube when I saw this video and decided to click on it to see what Juanita was preaching about… only to be a bit surprised by her new look… and since the video was just uploaded a few days ago it is very much a ‘new look’ for her.   A bit too much plastic surgery for sure… and the make-up does not help.  It only makes her look worst …and again like she is in some kind of spiritual trouble.

I suspect after somewhat watching her transition into this ‘new Juanita’… the 1 before this… it is not hard to see that she has had this thing about how she looked.  It appeared to be some kind of self-hate… or maybe that is too extreme.  Let me say a  dislike for her natural facial features.

Yes, that sounds better.

Looking at the photographs displayed at the beginning of her video… her program intro as this seems to be a new undertaking for Juanita…with  her in a cap and jeans… Juanita seems be trying to recapture her youth… or some kind of teen to 21 hip look or something.

In listening to her video below it appears to me she is trying to join the ranks of Yolanda Adams… Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Dorinda Clark and that marymary sister, Erica Campbell… on the radio air-waves with a syndicated national radio broadcast.

But being Juanita… she appears to not only be happy being on the radio air-waves… but also wants to have video live-streaming while she broadcasts her radio show.   And this show… or broadcast… or this video take of it was evidently recorded with a very bad camera with terrible audio… and doesn’t appear to really be a live radio show but a pretense of doing it live in her home.  Nor does it appears to be anything like the Juanita Bynum I have come to know via my observation of her.  She has always been on top of her sound.

If nobody else on the podium sounds good… you can beat she is going to sound great because she leaves nothing to chance when its come the quality of her sound… which is, of course, her money maker.   But no so in these videos.

Now, many thousands of people no longer go into a read radio radio to broadcast their radio shows because technology today has made it so easy to do it that way… if you have
good quality professional or semi-professional equipment… and have someone close to being a professional set it up for you.  You can broadcast from anywhere in the world… even in your bathroom or a cave…  and nobody will know whether it was in or out of a professional broadcasting studio.

But clearly, we can tell that this video tape was done with professional equipment …or some high level recording equipment… camera with a good mic or a mic tied in.

But it is not the technical problems with Juanita’s video … but the evident continued plastic surgery which it appears she is continuing to engage in… and her new hair that she is so busy flinging all over the place… and her body language …and total look of glee that makes you wonder… is she back on drugs?

How could Juanita possible be so happy with her new look… in looking so overjoyed while recording this video.  In which in my opinion she looks far less than her normal self.

Just with all the batting of her eyes so continuously.  And all her what appears continuous movements… and such personal internal glee within herself … you can’t help but wonder is Juanita herself under the spell of drug addiction which she preaches about in the first video. 

After Pastor Zackary Timms being found in a New York hotel dead from a drug overdose… we should all be on the lookout for who else may be in trouble.  We are so busy just listening to these folks and fail to recognize that some of our pastors, evangelists etc. are in trouble.

There were definite signs that Pastor Timms was in trouble.  I can clearly say that.   I will never forget seeing him 1 day leap up on his podium like he was Batman or Superman.  And I recalled thinking where was the reverence to God’s altar in what he had done?

Listen how fast Juanita is talking in her video… all that hyper energy that is clearly displayed.
I once was having a conversation with someone who was talking to me about possible employment.  While speaking with this person someone else was standing nearby observing this conversation.  When we had finished talking and the person had left… the person who had been observing said to me, ‘Did you see how she was moving?   How she never stopped moving?   And how she was talking?’

I said, ‘No.’

I know nothing about addiction.   Or people under addiction.  But the women who had been standing watching that conversation knew plenty about it.  And she began to educate me.

She started saying, ‘Didn’t you notice that she used to be a junkie?  How she rushed through their words while speaking, how her eyes move?  How she could not stand still or sit still

No, I had not noticed… nor did I know how to pick up on those type of things.  I knew nothing about how people show signs of things of addition or past addiction… actions that are not natural for folk normally.  That is exactly what I hear and see in this video of Juanita.  

Juanita is not acting as she normally acts. Her actions and language are out of sync with the Juanita we see displayed in most of her videos… while delivering the word or trying to share thoughts on tv or in her other videos.

No, this is an irrational fidgety Juanita… with eyes that keep rolling and batting uncontrollably… racing through what she is speaking about.  Look at her eyes.  Listen to what she is saying.

Clearly, Juanita is either drunk or high… or maybe both.    All that flinging of hair… particular articulation of certain words… treats of hitting somebody… fast un-expected  jerky erratic movements… and just a pattern of irrational behavior for Juanita … it all clearly says Juanita is very much out of character.  And her in the photo shots in her show intro at the beginning and end of her video …of her in pants and
cap looking very much like Beyonce speaks volumes also.

I am not certain that Juanita has not taken money to promote the music of the artists that she is featuring in her video shows.  But she gives each song’s date when it will be able for purchase, so that might be a hint.

Okay, I’m waiting on a very important telephone call now.  So, I must stop here.  And I am suppose to be editing… so much for that.   But I must go but you enjoy the rest of the week, and have a good weekend.   At some point I hope to find time to talk about Donald Trump… what a mess this whole political cycle has become… 1 big joke if it weren’t so serious.

UPDATE:  September 27, 2016… Truly speaking Juanita Bynum is getting weirder and weirder with each and every 1 of these videos she does.  Note how she grabs hold of her nose as she just finished taking a snort of cocaine or something.

This is a woman who is usually so up on the quality of everything she puts out.  But all these latest videos released by her doing this ‘new thing’ lack her usual attention to detail … particularly when it comes to the audio of these videos.

In the video I just posted below she has a leg up with her legs wide open.  I know …. I’m old school.  But isn’t she representing the Kingdom… is there not proper protocol regarding women and how we sit when in public?  And I really do not understand the new look with regard to her hair.

It really does appear to me that maybe Juanita may be on her way to a crash.  She seems to be slipping… and long ago lost focus.

JAN CROACH DEAD of Trinity Broadcasting….THE IRONY OF IT ALL…

I must really be missing it… was asleep or somewhere.   How is it that Jan Croach just died and I never heard anything about it until-

Until now when I happened to be on youtube looking something else up.  And when I saw the title ‘Jan Croach Died,’ of a youtube video I thought it was somebody’s joke.

Not really sure if just someone was playing around… you know how they do on youtube.  Then I decided to google it… and sure enough Jan Croach had really died just a few days ago, May 31, 2016, at 78 following a massive stroke.

Because I had not seen much of her on TBN lately… I just thought that Mat, or whatever the name of her son who now runs their TV networks… well, I had thought it was because Paul Croach,  Jan’s husband who didn’t pass all that long ago himself… had left the TV networks to his son, and gave Jan her creation, The Holy Land Experience, down in Orlando, Florida.

I really can’t say that I really followed the Croach’s all that closely nor their channel, as they always seem to be doing those television money raising rallies… seeking donations most of the time.   And at point I had read where Paul and Jan never spoke to each other EXCEPT when on television… and that they did not live together.  Yet they portrayed themselves as a loving couple on their television broadcasts.   

There seems to be such an irony is all of this seeing how Paul and Jan really felt about each other… that not so long after he died she would follow him to the grave.  Now, it all goes to the boys, their 2 sons… and grand-kids… whom do not seem to be any more in harmony than Paul and Jan during the many years of their marriage.

I had also read some years ago that the Croach’s had been under investigation for mismanagement of those donation funds that they claimed to be using for the good of the furthering the word of God.   One of their grand daughters claimed that Paul had been going out and using the company charge card to pay for lavish dinners in exclusive places, and while charging fine and very expensive alcoholic drinks to their church network tabs too.

To say the least Jan with her Barbie make-over was far from being anyone I would have put my trust in as being a really godly person.  There is no doubt that she had a real obsession with becoming Barbie, that Matel children’s doll.   Jan apparently had no problem with destroying the temple that God had given her, to get breast implants, pink hair and all kinds of other plastic surgery done to her face and body.  I would say that maybe that could be a bit ‘carnal,’ wouldn’t you?

And to waste all that money doing it… when it could have gone to some kind of good in the world instead of a plastic surgeon.

I mean… who in their right mind really wants to look like Barbie?

Don’t answer that… because I think that was the look Lil’ Kim was also going for before she just plain decided to become some kind of white girl.  How truly sad compared to what she used to look like.  Talk about self-hate.

And the amazing part about that was that Jan could not see it just how foolish she looked.

When the devil has your mind…  he ‘really’ has your mind.   And he definitely evidently ‘really’ had Jan’s mind in order for her to believe she looked like anything other than a fool with all that pink hair setting on top of her head.  

I am not trying to be hurl or vicious.   Heaven forbid.   Afterall, the woman is dead… and only died just a few days ago.  But what about having messed up face and head with that hair made her feel glorious is a wonder to me.

Jan’s father was a pastor under the Assemblies of God, a denomination which grew out of the Church of God in Christ.  And there was not much that the Croach’s did not learn while under the tutelage and mentor ship of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, who had their own theme park too, and had been well vested in daily television broadcasting… which the Croach’s took to another level… even down to Tammy Faye’s make-up.

Kind of ironic how Jan and Paul really got their start and was introduced to the production of television broadcasting through working for Jim and Tammy… and that Tammy Faye had to go and seek Jan and Paul out once the floor fell out from under the Jim Bakker ministries, with Jim ending up having to serve prison time from mismanaging church donations sent his ministry.

I doubt very much that we will see TBN fold and go under… or be sold off as that family is making far too much money from that network… no matter what inner turmoils their families or relationships may have to cast it all to the wind.

To God be the glory… and bless you,  hope all is going well for you as we go into this weekend.  The weather here is very nice… no cold weather in a few days now.   So, maybe… just maybe we are finally transitioning into summer…

DONALD TRUMP… TAKING NO HOSTAGES…

It does indeed amaze me that 1 Donald A. Trump… or whatever his middle initial is… has managed to play the American public for as long as he has.  The man has been doing nothing but consuming the entire American media…for free.

Free television and radio…talk shows of all kinds… everything media including newspapers and magazine covers and articles… since he began his crazy journey… and all for free since his so-called bid to run for President of the United States. It has been reported that the amount of FREE media time given to the Donald amounts to above 1 billion dollars. All to a man who claim he’s ‘so rich.’ He’s ‘so smart’… he’s such ‘a great businessman’ etc…etc…etc…

Trump is the lowest of low.   He is a down right out and out scoundrel.  His whole persona and image is a massive illusion.   Certainly he is a man who must have learned from the best career criminal just how to cheat his way to success… and lie all way while getting there.   What a con job.

He is no successful business man.  If the truth be told he is not even a mediocre business man.  He is a con man pure and simple.

Let’s face it not many people can run to friends or family and have them continue to finance our failures… but somehow this has been what Donald Trump has managed to do.

Who in their right mind as any ‘displaced U. S. worker’ would want to vote for him, a man who has businesses and does all his business abroad using foreign labor.   The man uses cheap out of this country labor  with regard to products the Donald has had produced with his name on it… such as his neckties… and whatever else.    The man sends jobs abroad… but he says he’s going to be the man to bring jobs back to America.  Is this some kind of double talk?

What is so hard to believe about the fact that an offender promises to stop others from doing what he does… when and if he were to become President.     Then if not… the man would continue to do as he is doing.   The man even confesses it.   And he blames the American system for ‘forcing him to do it.’     If only we all could blame the American government for enriching us financially.

You have got to be kidding me…. and he is raking up votes from people who actually believe his rhetoric …. and even for some ungodly reason… they even believe in him.   The man who is insane… his insane double talking  and side-ways talking while everybody else ‘but’ himself a liar.

We might at the end of the day have to all call the man a genius.   Or is it called… we’er all being played?

Everybody now is really staring to listen him…  and they are falling for him and everything he is saying … all being sucked in to Trump mania… even down to media people  now who at first thought of him as a joke.   Which when you get right down to it… Trump is.   But for some reason now all seem to be overtaken by him and open to the Trump mystique.

What is it that they don’t believe?

What is so hard to accept when it comes to Donald Trump?

That he is a racist?

That he’s a bigot and fascist?

Truthfully speaking … he must be the anti-Christ.   Who else could such a man be?

it is as though he has ‘666’ etched in his forehead in invisible ink.   Nothing he can say will turn those who love him against him.

This is not some all awing magnificent force but some type of witchcraft that has befallen us… a type of mass hysteria that has swept America.  And it is not just overtaking everyday people but people in chief positions… shot callers…. dice rollers and every other wayward sort in the Republican Party or would be Republican during this election for the sake of voting for Trump .

The man has now proclaimed that if he does not get the Republican nod as their candidate to run for the Presidency in Cleveland… the Republican National Convention… that there will be riots.   Having made that statement alone should have been enough grounds to have had the man pick up for threatening to incite a riot during the Republican convention.   Because Trump sitting on national tv making that kind of announcement was code language to those who would do his bidding… such as members the Klue Klux Klan and every other racist in America..  if the Republican Party fails to do as Trump has commanded.   And the outcome following Trump’s riot announcement has the Republican Party scramming …running scared and now everybody wants to meet with him.

The guy has not had to spend 1 dime on advertisement because every time he opens his mouth the tv cameras were there.   He has been eating up our airwaves for free since he got into the race to the White House.    Every talk show… every news channel … it has all been Trump… everyday and all day long.    It is like we are all being hypnotized.

The man nor his wife… Donald nor what’s her name …. neither of  them should be let into the White House even for a visit.   It is like letting trash in.   And this may sound mean or even hateful… but who could be or get any meaner or hateful than the man himself?

Donald Trump.   The man espouses nothing but hate… conflict… and deceit.

Who took those nasty disgraceful pictures of his wife?

Well, she wasn’t his wife at the time… but he thought nothing about having them taken pictures of her dis-robed.  And they were shot on his airplane.

The man has neither class or anything that would give him a plus.   He is a rich guy… maybe.   But whoever said money could give anybody any class… smarts… or the ability to become the President of the United States.

Clearly, this world would be in a world of trouble if someone like the
Donald ever became the most powerful man in the world… the President of the United States of America.

Well, God bless… this is it for today.   I guess I am now getting back into my stride.  It has taken me a while or maybe I was just waiting on the right climate for me to begin writing again on my blog.   Don’t know what it was.   But I’m back… at least for now.

WHO IS COMING UP WITH THESE LAWS… TRANSGENDER NATION…. THE NIGERIAN GIRLS and MORE…

It is hard to know where to begin with this blog since I have so many different things on my mind.  But let me begin with this…

As I just came across it on a Facebook post… where the mayor in Houston had proposed to allow transgender people to legally use the bathroom facilities that they identify with.

Needless to say… why write certain things into law?

They already do it.   So, such a thing is really kind of stupid.  But the other side of the coin is this …writing such a thing into law opens the door for many women to become victimized by men looking for new opportunities in ways to victimize women.  What I mean by this is this.

Most times women go into a bathroom… it is usually not full… not unless you are at a club or some large social setting.  A lot of times we are the only ones in bathrooms.  When we enter the ladies room we do not expect anyone stronger than us to overpower us and shove us into stalls to rape us… or to carry out any other type of crime that people perpetrate against women.  But such a city ordinance would open the door for such a thing to happen to women.  As just anybody could walk into any bathroom they wanted and not necessarily have in mind the intention of using the toilet.

Not to mention women often allow their children to go into the ladies room… most of the time under their care.  But such an ordinance would put at risk both a mother and a child if a deranged person were watching them… and then followed them into a co-ed bathroom.  Whereas such a person entering into the ladies’ room would easily be spotted if the bathroom facilities were not co-ed.

In places where perpetrators look for unsuspecting victims …such as in movie theaters and amusement parks where there are always large number of children this type of policy would be very disastrous.

I know that campuses now have co-ed dorms and co-ed dorm rooms…  and “unisex,” “gender-neutral”  “gender-inclusive” bathrooms etc.

But is this thing right?

I say, ‘No.’

And it is a resounding ‘no.’  

Perhaps I am a little bit too caution.  Or maybe you just think I am being super homophobic.  But it is not the homosexuals I am thinking about.  I’m thinking about the people who would take such an ordinance and use it to prey upon certain people…such as unsuspecting women and possible children, as many times children do go into bathrooms with their mothers.   And these people are not gay… they are rapists… child molesters… predators of every sort.

And believe me… I would rather fall on the side of a little per-caution rather than hearing someone say,  ‘I’m sorry. We never dreamed this sort of thing would happen.’

All this  might stem from the fact that I was abused as a child.  I really don’t know.   Or it may stem from the fact that I have been stalked several times.  Now, that I do know.

I think about it this way…  if it ain’t broke ‘don’t fix it.’  

What is wrong with having the women’s bathroom for women, and the men’s bathroom for the men?

Has not that system worked all these years?

With regards to the home situation…  Well, is totally different.  We are at home.  We all know each other… ans supposedly nobody is trying to prey upon another.  We grow up using bathrooms inside the home as a family.  But in public the same principles do not apply.  And it has always been broken down as facilities for men… and separate facilities for women.

Why mess with that now?

One could say that this is the problem that we have with our medical system in this country today.  Who in the world started messing with it?????

We had a system that used to work.  People used to be able to see qualified doctors not just people tied into their medical plans, who only issue prescriptions for medication manufacturers tied to pharmaceutical companies who own their plans… to whom their now doctors are also tied to.  Kind of a vicious little circle… called lets keep the money in-house.  And that is exactly what they do… if they can.

Sure our old medical system might have had issues… lets face it nothing is perfect.  But it had worked fine for hundreds… maybe thousands of years more or less as it was.   The pluses were  (1) you could pick and chose your own doctors.  (2) Hospitals had to treat people whether they had insurance or not.   And (3) if a doctor wasn’t working for you… you could just pick up your marbles and go to another one without asking the doctor you are trying to rid yourself of… to write you a ‘referral.’

Who thought of this ‘doctor’s referral‘ thing?

We are not children.  Why do we need to ask a doctor ‘may I?’

Or ‘can I?’

And if they won’t then… you can’t.  You are just plain STUCK.

That is just a little bit too much control over  patients if you asked me.

But going back to my original issue with removing ‘MEN’ and ‘WOMEN‘  signs from public toilets….or those little pictures that mean ‘MEN’ or ‘WOMEN’ toilet facilities.   I clearly understand what probably escapes many people…   is that who is going to get blamed when stuff starts going wrong with making such an sane which to our long established system of public toilet facilities.

Most people like to believe that the people who perpetrate crimes on children… particularly on boys… little boys are all gay.   If you only knew.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  If you could  only hear some of the gay guys talking on this subject, then you would certainly know  THAT to be a lie.   Most gay men… and women… if not all of them… hate people who  perpetrate sexual crimes against children  …or anyone else for that matter.

I know personally that many gay people get mad when these people… sexual perverts such as NAMBLER… North American Man/Boy Love Association… attempt to tie or associate themselves to the gay community.   Mostly because those men involved in that kind of thing are not gay.  They think of themselves as straight men who merely love having sex with very very young boys.   These men are low life predators.  A bunch of six depraved men with warped minds.   Of whom I have absolutely no tolerance whatsoever for.

The Nambler men are sexual deviants straight out of hell who prey upon very very young boys while living what appears to be very regular lives as heterosexual men… and men who seek out very very young little girls to do the same… they are just as intolerable.    They are all highly deceitful.  Many are married and/or have girlfriends… some even have their own children.

We are living in a time when laws and ordinances are being created and made that will cause more harm to our society … than at any other time.  And crimes are becoming more and more heinous… and laws more and more lacks.

Who thought of legalizing marijuana?

Who approved it?

Now, you not only have to careful and the lookout for drunken drivers… or those under the influence of all those other long recognized nonlegal and legal drugs out there.  But now also have to be on the lookout  for people driving around buzzed… under the influence of marijuana, whose system is just as whacked out and as much impacted by effects of marijuana as anyone who has been drinking or using some other narcotic drug.

Now, these guys are selling marijuana stocks and bonds on Wall Street to fund their marijuana farms.

This whole thing is becoming very insane.   My father would say… ‘the world is going out backwards.’  And it truly is.

Pandora’s box is being left wide open.  And there is no turning back the terrible tide that it is unleashing upon this world.

Fools and depraved minds have taken over our Courts and government.  They are creating laws and writing into place legislation that are turning this world upside down.

Having been in ‘the life‘ for many years, of course, I do understand why gay people wanted the right to be legally married.  I myself had personally witnessed and knew of several relationships where one partner or lover had died.   After having spent many years together I saw where families stepped in following the death of their family member deciding  to take over everything from the surviving lover in that relationship… including the funeral arrangements.  Just ripping everything out of the hands of the surviving partner or lover.

They may have had amassed a house… and/or a business… or other items purchased and/or paid for together… or co-owned by the both of them… but in came their family.   They took control over the dead body… and eventually forced the surviving partner out.

So, yes I can understand how having some level of law to protect what 2 people had accumulated together would be helpful to them. Particularly in light of greedy family members… who many times cast off their gay family member years ago… only to re-emerge following their death to declare to their surviving lover ‘you don’t own anything here… and get out.’  But then I have seen that in heterosexual relationships too… where people lived together for years and failed to marry.

But did the law governing marriage have to be rewritten to provide for that is my question?

I think not.   That right could have been gotten a whole entire way without trying to redefine marriage as something other than what God intended marriage to be… and between whom He intended it be between.

But their are people who have been put in place to bring about any change that delights that other spirit that also inhabits this world.  Just a chosen few people in the right places is all it takes to set about a change that effects everyone in the land.   And that is the problem with our system… it doesn’t take the masses to do it any more.

It was just a single woman… a mother with 2 sons that took prayer out of public schools around this entire nation.  Just 1 demonic woman.

Today just a small group of people can decide to do something… and BAM!     It is done.   Things changed that you never thought you would see changed.

Who would have guessed that marijuana would ever get legalized in this country?

Who????

Next it will be crack cocaine… then cocaine and everything else.  Why not… it all makes money?

Even  lying after Bush became acceptable if it somehow can be seen to serve greater good.  Or some kind of meaningful …or in Bush’s case devante purpose.  But nobody started throwing stones at him when they finally found out he lied about ‘weapons of mass destruction,’ as a means for him to invade Iraq and start an unnecessary war, in order to push up gas prices and make his family richer.  And that it ended up killing millions of Americans, mostly young college kids for no good cause.

There is someone somewhere making BIG BUCKS from marijuana …and that you can bet your money on it.   Otherwise, how did marijuana stocks hit the stock market so quickly?

And who are the really people cashing in on it?

Probably the people who have always been at the top of the illegal American drug trade in the first place.

No, there are things happening in our government today… that even those guys on Capitol Hill… the insiders know and are dealing with …who are pulling all the strings to our never before.  And because we now live in a global economy… our inter-actions in the global world… wield lots of global influence…  that person or persons may not even be American… nor Americans.  But they are for real.

They are getting things done that no of us ever dreamed would ever be done.  And the change that they are effecting is not for the good of this country.

Not at all.

If, indeed, legislators were legitimately looking to legislate some good policy they should take a look at the evils in this world and sincerely seeks ways to remove and/or lessen them… not open the doors for more to come about.

I had wanted to talk about the 300 or so Nigerian girls which were kidnapped.  But I’m being pushed out of here.  Maybe tomorrow…

But the 1 thing that stays on my mind about that whole thing is how nearly 300 school girls were kidnapped from their school… and nobody did nothing?

How it that 300 young school girls, kidnapped on April 15th of this years and are still under the hands of their kidnappers, have yet to be found or released?

Most of the problem in this case stems from world interest in this story and the fact that the Nigerian government officials do not want the involvement of outsider aid… such as the United States… in assisting them in freeing the girls … or seeking freedom for them.  Most of it boils down to political pride on the part of the Nigerian officials not wanting it to be seen as they cannot handle their own affairs.  Of which they evidently cannot based upon the kidnapping of these young girls they are in dire need of some help… from someone.

Why be so proud that you cannot accept assistance in such a matter as this?

It is foolish.  If any of the government official’s daughters were involved they wouldn’t be able to accept help quick enough.  But it is evident that none of their daughters is at risk.

There is no telling as to what is happening to those young girls when you consider the treatment of women who have be taken by such groups as the bunch of criminals who claimed that they took these girls.  It is not uncommon for women/girls to be raped, beaten and abused in an array of various ways including sold into bondage and prostitution.

It is my hope that a resolve comes soon… as it has already much too long in the making.  I pray for those young girls.

I am thankful we have a President who cares about Africa …and her people.  Thank you, President Obama.

I know people are going to think I am whack-co but since I am on the subject let me take a moment to go back and hit upon this subject regarding transgender individuals as well.   It appears to me that this whole thing is becoming more and more rampant.  It has become a trend …and it is growing fast.

There was once a time when transgender and yes, even drag queens were kind of looked down upon.  But a boom is on to change all of that.  Their ranks are growing… and growing even at early ages.

It is almost becoming a fab now among many in the gay community.  Kind of like all this body piercing and tattooing that has grown so popular… and tattooing lately.  And not only has it become popular… trendy… but it is even becoming acceptable to many outside of the gay community.

Few people used to talk about such things as ‘I feel like I was born to be a man’ if they were a woman… or vise versa.  But there is lots of chatter about that now.  The seeds have been laid… and it has become like a ranging fire swirling out of control.

It kind of reminds of my niece saying to me 1 Sunday, ‘Auntie, I don’t want to go to this church any more.  I’m not being fed.’

Not being fed?

What did she know about not being fed.  It was not she like she was saved or anything… or even paying any attention much during our church services. But she had heard someone else said it.  And that was all she needed… to being her own reverberating of those words ‘I’m not being fed.’

The true being told no church was going to feed her spiritually as she, at that point, was not really interested in being in church at all anyways.

So, what I am trying to say here is this… all these people declaring that they are something other than what God created them to be… be it male or female.   They have been bitten by a bug… and the world today is full of people who follow what other people do.  This stems from hearing something like ‘I never felt comfortable being a girl’… following somebody sitting on some television show… national, of course… sounding and looking every bit like a man or ever bit like a woman.  And the viewer internalizes that notion and begins feeling and saying that exact same thing… as they start working their way to becoming a transitioning something or other.

It is really rather sad to me.  But who knows …when the devil had me… he really had me too.  So, who knows if this trend had been so hot and heavy in my days what I might not have elected to do it too?

Perhaps I should not cast any stones.  But thank God that is not my mind today.  For the devil no longer has be captive.

But now I am seeing them everywhere… transgender people.  And reading and hearing  more and more about people ‘transitioning.’  Meaning slipping out of being 1 type of sexual being into another… as in going from being… or appearing to be male to appearing to be female via surgery, shots and medication etc.

For a while now I have been thinking about a friend of mine who recently was informed by her daughter to begin calling her ‘Harry’ or some nonsense… (I am kind of playing with the name here as I do not wish to disclose the real name).     But yes, she has begun eating up all those pills and seeking to undergo the surgery.

I cannot think of anything more which resembles self-hate more to me than an act such as this.  And the thing seems to have become more and more popular… and widespread among those in the gay community.

And that is what they say ‘I hated myself because I knew I was suppose to be a girl.’

You know what the devil is the great deceiver.  All of my life until most recently I used to think of myself as being ugly.  I really thought I was ugly and never like taking pictures.  I didn’t want any mirrors in my room.  I rarely looked at myself in the mirror.  But you know what a few years ago I started thinking about something…

I started thinking about all the times I had gotten stalked.  Yes, I said stalked.  And I said ‘all the times I got stalked.’

I have been stalked at least 5 times in my life if not more.  And I started thinking about that.

I had had some very beautiful girlfriends… but none of them had ever been stalked.  Or least ways not to my knowledge.  So, I wondered 1 day ‘why me?’

It was not until I started trying to get a picture for the back cover of my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE,  that I discovered something.  And it came about shortly after I got saved… and came into the realization that God never created anything ugly.

So, now as I was looking for a picture for my book… I also began to see myself in a new and very different light.  And in that light I realized that I had never ever been ugly.

I laugh at it now because for over 40 nearly 50 years I had felt that I was not attractive at all.  I just never saw what I see now… and I have attached this picture of me so you can see too.  Isn’t it funny.  Stalked at least 5 times …and I mean seriously stalked.  Once so bad I almost had a nervous breakdown because I became so terrified.  And I have been stalked by men and women.

But once I came into the light… and the scales were removed from my eyes I began to see me that had always been there… but I had never seen before because… to me … in my eyes then I was ugly.

So, now you see me.  And, of course, that is me below also.  But when the devil has your mind …he can make you believe anything… even that you are man when you really are a woman.  God does not make mistakes.  But the devil does… and often.  Don’t let him fool you too.

When my friend’s daughter…  her other daughter called me up and told me the story about her decisions to become a man… my mind began to take a tumble.  It is hard for me to wrap my mind around anyone wanting to destroy them-self in such a horrid way as this… as  an act of trying to re-order their sexual gender would be doing.  And all I could think of was the woman… really a man who tried to join Salsa-Soul Sisters.  An act which met with such furry that the person was totally forced out of our group sessions and following that night stopped entirely coming to our Salsa-Soul Sisters meetings at all.

Those lesbians called an emergency meeting where immediately they voted in unanimously ‘that no person who is not born bio-logically a woman could ever be a board meeting of Salsa-Soul.’   And they meant every word of it.

And I mean they all rush into that meeting that night… for that emergency meeting.  The only emergency meeting I think Salsa ever had.  Sisters I hadn’t seen in years… some I even think got up out the grave to attend that meeting.

It was a pivotal point in Salsa-Soul Sisters history that night.  I think in the lesbian world really… in how we all view some things… Salsa was a scared female only organization.   So, a man… even 1 dressed up as a woman.. with boobs etc…   Well, a thing like that was not acceptable to us… to none of us.  And a man… going through a sex change to become a woman so he could be a lesbian… was not acceptable to those real 100% lesbian women who came into that meeting to voice their opinions on the matter… and it would never be and they made sure of that.  Lease ways not as a board member of their prized and beloved organization… Salsa Soul Sister, Inc.   And I have to say… I agreed.

But the odd point is this … as freaky as that whole thing was to me… and as it was to my fellow Salsa-Soul Sisters… I never saw where it might ever become a larger issue.  A world issue… if you get my drift.  As I now see it becoming.

This thing is large and it incorporates changing legal documents which are adjusted to the conform and affirm the status, name etc. of the said person.  This includes drivers licenses and everything… which once read ‘male’ are now changed to read ‘female.’  And to me that is scary.  Because these people move away from home where nobody knows them and present themselves to unsuspecting people as someone totally different from who they really were born to be… and they look many of them every bit the part of who they are trying to pretend to be… and sound like it too with the help of all of what they are taking by way of medication to assist in their incredible changes.

If questioned about it… saying that someone questioned if they were a man or a woman?

All they have to do is pull out this new false licenses, passports etc… listing their new names, social security numbers and sex on them.  And who could argue that they were not who or what they claimed to be.

Today the amount of people opting to change their sex is staggering to me.  It is like a fad with many people deciding to do it… like changing an old hat or pulling off an old tee shirt.

I would years ago not believed that there were more than a mere handful of whacked out people willing enough to do it.  But it has become the new ‘in thing.’   And it is catching on like wildfire.

Whenever I am talking to the sister of the daughter who is going through this type of change… which is called ‘transitioning,’  I avoid speaking about her sister at all now.  As the thing really is a bit too much for me… and I would rather not hear about it.  But I understand that she has had her breast removed and her voice is changing.  And ‘yes’ she is beginning to grown facial hair… so the process of looking more and more like the male species is well underway for her … as well as, sounding like 1.

The sister has told me that her mother and everybody else in the family is calling her ‘him’ now… and by his adaptive name… ‘Harry.’    Which really surprised me.  Because I would not have believed that their mother would have fallen into that game… and it is a game.  Really it is.  And it is a game that I just cannot play… because it would be lying… and too accepting of your child going through that process.

If your child was a robber would you accept that?

I think not.  Then why accept a change that is going to alter your child into someone or something you will no longer recognize …and living in such a diverse lifestyle that is bound to bring them nothing but unhappiness later on down the road… if not already  And it will.

I hear that Chaz… Cher’s daughter has found that it may have been the wrong choice for her… in altering herself or attempting to alter herself into a man.  Let’s face it… Chaz will always be known as Cher’s daughter whether they call her Chasity of not.   We can all agree that she looks and sounds ever bit like a man.  But at the end of the day she is just a woman who had a sex change.   And THAT, my friend… really doesn’t add up to being a ‘real man.’

How could I go around calling someone ‘her’ or ‘she’ when I know that they are a ‘he or a her?’ 

And since I would rather not hurt their feelings it is best ‘we’ do not come together at all.

Now, I am not for disowning people.  Or throwing away ones children.  That would be down right wrong.  But we cannot accept all kinds of  junk either.   A parent cannot discard their child… and should not.   But  this whole ‘I changing my sex thing’ certainly should not be forced down any parent’s throat either.  That is the feeling I got about my friend’s daughter… she had no respect of what or how her parents felt about it.  Or cared about how they felt about it.  It was her way or no way.  So, her mother conceded and began calling her daughter ‘he’ and ‘him’ … and whatever name she is calling herself.

I had lovers… a few of them even met my parents.  But I was 1 of those people who was very discrete about my relationship with the women I went to bed with.  I certainly never kissed or held their hands in the company of my parents… or out in mixed company anywhere.   In fact, while in the company of my parents it never came to me to want to.  Because… I guess I respected them too much to want to.

I have always maintained and still maintain… that my life is my life.   I also felt that it was not necessary for me to go shouting through the streets or around world who I was sleeping with.  And I have always maintained that I really did not care who other people were sleeping with as long as it was not involving children or animals.  Outside of that… it  really wasn’t any of my business.

Though I had a friend working at a radio station in New York and 1 evening I accompanied her to the radio station, and upon greeting someone she noted to me privately ‘that he likes young boys.’    She went on to say, ‘boys between 4 and 7.’   I never went back to the radio station with her after that… because all I could do was kind of stare at the guy and think that somebody should put him out of his misery.  Such people have to be sad people to me.

How could you live with yourself doing such a thing?

I don’t know how she could work in a place like that… with someone like that.   I could barely make it through the evening knowing what she had told me about him.

But how does anyone share information like that with anyone?

And how does anyone not report him?

And you would have had to have seen the guy… never would you have guessed it.  Tall… muscular… good looking kind of guy… normal on the outside.  But dark on the inside… filled with some deep dark secrets.  It was written in his eyes… I think.

Why or how he managed to share them… that kind of information about himself and his sexual forays with my friend I do not know.   But that was all she had to say to me to keep me away from that radio station ever again.  But I have never forgotten him.  Because there was something rather sad about him… as well.  You cannot live like that… or that kind of life and not be sad.   A very sad sad person.

But back to this transgender revolution that is exploding all over the place.  It is sad to see how the world is going backwards.  How twisted and turned around people are becoming.  There is a lost of direction… and everything bad seems to be in.  Or appears to be the latest thing to do.  Even Bruce Jenner, step dad of the Kardashians and an Olympic champion, in his younger days… has gotten in on the transgender act.    I is hard for me to see or understand why so many people are electing to do so… or are so guns-hoo for it.  It boggles the mind.

And what is even more mind boggling to me… is the fact that many once they undergo their change now classify themselves as being ‘straight.’  Meaning they do not want to be classified as being gay or transgender etc… etc… at all.  They think of themselves as being totally man or woman… not transformed being.  This thing is crazy.

That is what I think about this whole new thing… crazy.  This whole thriving world of transgender individuals…. people who think that it is ‘hip’ … I am dating myself here I know but I can’t think of another word that fits better than ‘they think it is ‘hip.’   ‘Hip’ to be an ‘it.’  

I have seen them… seen pictures of them… and they seem to be happy outwardly…and loving who they are pretending to be.  But I know that is a lie.   You cannot be really happy or  love anything …and be out so of alignment with God.

You did know this part was coming.  Least ways I hope you did… because I could not leave this blog without bringing Him up.  He does play a factor… a major factor in all of this.  Especially since He created us all.

Oh, you can appear to be happy.  But appearing to be happy and being happy are 2 totally different things.

What God has made us to be… that is what we are.  And no doctor or amount of chemicals or operations can change it.  Your DNA is your DNA and that is God’s doing.  Everything else is meant to be confusion… strife… and deceitful.

Do not let the devil destroy you.  And if your child is dealing with these issues remember you can’t change them… therapy can’t change them…  but God can.  He changes and mind and the heart… He changed mines.  Just keep your children lifted up in prayer.   Pray without ceasing and love on them …and let God do His perfect work in them.

My parents prayed for me.  And you see me as I am today… God made a new creature out of me.  And He didn’t need any medication or shots or surgery to do it.

One last thing before I get out of here…

This woman here and her daughter… turned male supposedly… are just looking for a reality show deal on the backs of this whole transgender mess.  If they don’t already have 1.  The thought of it makes me sick… because it puts out there this concept of changing your sexual identity is alright… that it is good… and okay… and above all… it can make you happy and ‘in.’   And so many many many people are just looking for anything that will make them ‘in’… they are looking for anything that make them more friends or gather them some attention.  They are looking for their 15 minutes of fame and possible fortune.

And if you ask me this woman is definitely pimping her daughter… and the look of her daughter’s face…says she is loving every minute of it.  It is all about money, baby

UPDATE:  Wednesday, July 10, 2014….Okay, I’ve just finished watching the graduation speech to the college in the video above by the (I hate to say ‘he-she’ above)… but you know what?

I think whoever termed that phrase got it right.  And for a truth they were way ahead of their time when they first started saying it.

Times have gone crazy.  Why would you invite a transsexual to be your graduating class main speaker?

Alright, maybe I could see it if the person had done some type of fantastic or earth scattering deed… discovered something (other than he wanted to be a woman and was now pretending to be one).   But all this guy does is pull at his very bad weave and talk about himself.  I must admit that I have known more than my share of drag queens who loved to do the very same.  But nobody paid them ‘x’ amount of dollars or extended an invitation to them to come and be the guest speaker of their class graduation at some college.

I must be missing something.  And I am not trying to be funny… but I kind of liked it when we celebrated people for ‘really’ achieving something other than cutting off their penises… or attempting to grow 1.   This is sick…truly.

And I know somebody is not going to like it.  They will call me homophobic and everything else.  And I can live with that.

But what I cannot live with… is me sitting around and being quiet as I watch this world sink into holes it will never ever be able to pull itself out of again.  Pandora’s box is open…

One thing about everything when you are growing up.  Everything is a joke to you… until it isn’t a joke.   Don’t be caught unawares…

BEYISM… BEYONCE’S CULT FOLLOWING… MARYMARY CURSING… GAY IN THE CHURCH…

Personally I have never quite understood the hype over Beyonce.  I have seen a million and 1 sisters who can look or do look just like her… including 1 of my nieces.

Okay, then you want to say it is the way she can dance.

Please…   What is she doing?

Nothing… that she has not copied from some Jamaican gals who have been jingling and shaking their stuff for quite some time now.  And on Labor Day in Brooklyn you can catch as many as your eyes can see walking up Empire Blvd doing just that during the Jamaican Liberation Parade.

Empire Blvd becomes a haven of men with their eye bungling out of their heads at a bunch of young and old Jamaican women making their way up the Blvd in a parade shaking every piece of flab they’ve got… and a lot of it you don’t want to see.

Going back to Beyonce… it appears her following has developed into some worshipers… calling Beyonce a ‘deity.’  And they have developed their own church down in Atlanta, called THE NATIONAL CHURCH OF BEY.

If nothing else it should be crystal clear to you by this time that we are truly living in last days and times.   And the evolution of Beyonce into a ‘god’ or ‘goddess’ can certainly be looked upon as a clear sign that Satan is busier than ever… and that there are some crazy folks out there.

“We are very disappointed in the failure of the public to recognize the existence of a divine Deity walking among them,” said the church’s founder Pauline John Andrews.  This woman must be the supreme witch of the group as she is the founder of such a ludicrous religious start-up group of the Beyonce worshipers.  I have heard of die hard fans… but this?

Come on…    Why would some woman want to worship any other woman in the way that makes a religious goddess out of her?

Something is definitely wrong with that woman.  And undoubtedly Beyonce is getting a charge out of… meaning she is loving it.

How do you become so taken with someone that you want to worship them?

Though I have heard of loving people to death.  But this is beyond loving someone… even to that length.  To death.  Here the woman loves her unto heaven.

Now, how stupid is that?

And from what I hear Beyonce and her hubby are in their own diverse religion… that illuminati mess.  Jay-z says he believes in 1 God… but not in hell.  He does not believe in Christianity… meaning he does not believe in Jesus.  That should speak volumes in of itself to many of you.

But going back to Beyonce…  Oh, I have heard it said in movies… when men or women desire someone so much sexually that they will tell someone anything… even that they want to worship them.  But before the end of the movie… the worship is all over and so wasn’t all that hot and heavy sexual desire that inspired those words.

I have heard too that Atlanta has a lot of strange things… and things Satanic going on.  It can’t be that far behind New York City then… because I know for sure that New York has all kinds of crazy things going on.

I was very surprised 1 night when a very attractive black woman, well attired, very professional looking… walked into Salsa-Soul Sisters and began talking to us about S&M.  It wasn’t until she pointed it out that I even noticed that she was dressed in all leather…black all leather… or maybe it was gray.  But it was all leather.  She called herself  ‘1 of the leather people.’

I never knew much about S&M but that night I got a very in-depth lesson of what was supposed to be the ‘joys of being involved in S&M.’   Now, if you can get to that you might be a better person than me.   No, a bigger fool than me… because can’t nobody tell me somebody standing over me  while I am all handcuffed and tied up…being whipped by that person standing over me… with a whip or beating me with a belt buckle… can give me any joy.  No, that you cannot tell me.  I know much better than that.  And I also knew something that I do not believe that woman ever recognized if she is still alive.  And that is… that at any moment 1 of those fools could be subject to torture her to death… but even that thought might have been pleasurious to her.

Evidently, that woman had not processed that thought.  For the woman claimed that she got pleasure out of what those S&M people had taught her and done to her.  And she said she got mad at her friends because they had waited until she was 50 years old to introduce her to that lifestyle… and it is very much a lifestyle.

That woman also shared with us that night at Salsa-Soul Sisters that there was a restaurant in Manhattan that at a certain time of night shut it doors and locked them… and then the fun (if you care to call it that) began.

I was horrified when she told us that.  Who would have ever had thought such a thing.

Full of people who were all into S&M?????

And all waiting on the clock to tick until they all got started on 1 another.

Insane.

That woman also picked up what looked to me like a notebook jacket… and she pointed out that it bared the S&M flag.  They had their own flag… a nation of people unto themselves.  Who would have thought it.

It makes you wonder how large could that thing be?

Large as it may be… it was not going to get me.  And I appeared to be the only person at Salsa that night who totally rejected anything that woman had said.

I found no part of it interesting or tempting.  But some of my fellow Salsa-Soul Sisters did… and I could tell.  Some time later… the 1 who had appeared the most interested in it that night… I came across a few years later.  She was all dressed up in leather… I knew what course she had chosen.

Then there was another Salsa-Soul Sister who had become part of a religious group in New York called Isis.  In fact, a few of the gay sisters I knew got involved in that religion.  I recall 1 night this particular sister had given this party over at her home down in Riverside.  She was dressed all in white, and as I came in her house I started to reach over to embrace her in greeting her… and she backed away keeping me at a distance without really touching me …talking about she had not yet gone over.

Later a friend told me that the woman… our Salsa-Soul Sister had gotten involved in this Isis religion and that she was going through some type of purification ritual.  Why this woman became involved in that Isis stuff was a mystery to me as she always seem so afro-centric…  and also smart.   Needless to say I soon began to think of her as anything but smart.  She became odd and started acting funny… weird.  

This guy… obviously gay… and as gay as he could be… moved into an upstairs apartment in her home.  While at work… we later found out… her girlfriend would go upstairs to him.  At the party it was pretty obvious that there was something going on between them.  She kept dancing all up on him like she was crazy.  And later on the woman ran off with this obviously gay man… who was the head of their religious cult.

In looking up that Isis mess… just now… it says that Isis was a goddess of Ancient Egypt and the religion spread through Greco-Rome.

Then not too long ago while listening to the news, I believe, I heard of this church where the congregation went to church nude… totally nude.  They worshiped in their church naked.  And I had seen on 20/20 or something a while back about some church where they were snake worshipers.  They dance and pranced around their church twirling snakes.

While in the library 1 day a young woman came and sat down beside me at a computer.  After a small amount of time I noticed that the woman was wiping tears from her eyes.  Shortly thereafter I decided I should speak to her to see if I could help.  That is when she told me she was running for her life from some religious cult she had fallen into while living in Atlanta.  She was all messed up.  Jumping at her own shadow… because she was full of fear… saying the cult people wanted to kill her because she wanted out.

So, my point here is this… there are lots of crazy people around the world seeking to worship all kinds of things if somebody is crazy enough to come up with it.  And the group of people deciding that Beyonce is holy and should be worshiped is about as crazy as any of them can come… maybe worst.   And certainly to me… is as insane as anyone can get who joins them.

And there is 1 thing for sure… somebody may get mad at me for saying it.  Because people like to say that we should not condemn others.  I do not believe in condemning anyone… and it is not condemning if you speak the truth, particularly if you are attempting to warn them… better yet show them the errors of their ways.   However, there are many people who have no problem in condemning themselves to hell… and somebody needs to tell them so.

Therefore, people involved in S&M, Isis, Beyism, Muslim-ism, Buddhism, Hinduism… or any other kind of  -ism and everything and anything else that is not like Jesus and God… nor of His doing.   They will go straight to hell… and I did not condemn them there… but their acts did.

However, it is not the desire of God that any of us should be lost.  But due to foolishness most people will be lost.  I pray you won’t … or me.  But how are you going to turn a woman into a god and become a worshiper of her… and not think that something is wrong with you… is my question?

Beyonce cannot do anything for anyone… like heal someone… save someone from hurt… harm or danger… illness… disease… or any kind of enemy including the devil.   In fact, she is in as much of a need God as we all are.  And I hope she and her worshipers find Him before it is too late.

My Lord… have mercy.

Then I happened to catch a video segment from the MaryMary reality TV show where the 2 sisters, Erica and Tina… are having a ‘for real’ conversation.  Somebody should have called for the cameras to be cut off.  Because the words started flying  ‘God-Dang’ world???    Erica got beeped… who knows what she said.  And I am not trying to  figured it out… or even read lips.

We have all heard that the gospel world is not what we all thought or think that it should be when it comes to the language and behavior of some of the people walking around saying they love the Lord… singing gospel music… and that live lives that speak something totally else.

One of the worst things that could have happened to some of these people is reality TV.   They don’t know how to stay off of it.  Stuff slips… and everybody sees or hears something that wasn’t supposed to be seen… or heard… or hinted at.  Then again drama sells… and keeps the ratings coming.

One of the biggest disasters is that boy… Deitrick Haddon.  Nobody can tell me he is really saved.  Somebody is going to be mad cause I called him a ‘boy.’   Don’t send me any more comments professing to me about how cruel and ungodly I am… and how much of a man of God Deitrick is.

That boy is not saved and not trying to be.  If I wasn’t much of a lady I would post a picture of his lower half which evidently he is very proud of.  The internet is loaded with pictures of the boy’s penis… and he didn’t release that picture or those pictures some 10 or 20 years ago.  No, it was while he was supposed to be ‘Saved’… while he was a recognized gospel artist… while he was still married to 1 woman while showing his stuff to another …or who knows how many others.   And all this I guess while he had taken over the leadership of his father’s church upon the passing of his father.  I suspect those people must have put him out… and he deserved it.

We are living in a time when some folks have figured out how to get more exposure… any kind and any way they can.  They make sex tapes… send out instagrams of pictures they claim they didn’t send… or this they get arrested or shoplifting or while driving drunk etc..  It worked for Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Brandy’s little brother, Lil’ Kim, R. Kelly, Puff Daddy and the list goes on and on…

You cannot tell me that if you are a recording artist or a movie star or a wanna-be that you have not figured out that sending pictures of your naked sexual organs or videotaping yourself involved in some sexual act… that you don’t know it won’t find its way to the public eye.  It has happened far to many times for anybody to do it… and not do it with the intention that it is going to viral… where everybody and their brother and mother is going to see it.

Some do it to revive a fading career.  Others to jump start a career in the spotlight… news… or gain a reality show etc…

Unfortunate Video of Gospel Singer Kevin Terry Leaks Online

When my son told me this story I was on my way to St. Louis… and he mentioned to me how this gospel singer by the name of Kevin Terry had a videotape leaked with him down on his knees… and he wasn’t praying.  But giving some man a blow job.  I never saw the video but while in St. Louis I mentioned it a couple of times… and I know for sure that others saw it.

This Kevin had ties with our boy Deitrick whom I do believe has some issues in the same department.  I often realize something that goes over the top of the heads of most other people.

What I have realized is this… that a lot of time you will find men on the down-low who appear to be crazy about women.  That is because that is what they want you to believe.  They act like they want to sex down everything but the tree when it comes to women… while all the while hiding what they really like and with who.  It is a game that they play to throw people off from thinking that they are really gay.

I know I’m going to get some comments about this… but so be it.  I really do get tired of these so-called gospel ‘I love Jesus’ artists… who are more sinful that Joe Small out on the street corner selling drugs… or pimping girls or whatever.  They have a semblance of holiness… but they are not holy.  And I don’t care how many gospel songs they write …or sing.

And I get tired of people trying to make saints out Steve Harvey and Tyler Perry.  Come on now…

Have you heard how Steve curses?

There has got to be a line… some kind of a line somewhere.

Why does everyone want to make people holy just cause they like them… or they find them to be funny… or they write Jesus into their plays… or tell church jokes from time to time?

I do not hate either Steve or Tyler.  And I would never be jealous of anyone’s success… but in the same token success does not mean ‘godly’ just because they are successful… and happen to utter the word ‘God’ once or twice.

I have a cousin who totally blew me off when I told her I was not really a fan of Tyler Perry’s plays or movies etc.   They were something I just was not interested in.  Boy, did she call me everything but a child of God.  She said I was bourgeoisie… I was a hater… and I was this… and I was that.

Man, what did I do?

I am sure that I have work that Tyler won’t like either.  But it would not mean he hated me.  Needless to say I have not talked to that cousin since.  Not because she said all of what she said regarding Tyler… but because she called me ‘light.’  I don’t want or like people to call me ‘light.’  I hate it… and I am not really ‘light’… I am brown… black through and through.  But let me go back to my blog topic….

The Bible tells us that we have to ‘put off the old man.’   We become brand new.  Our language is new… how we dress is new… how we walk and talk is new…. how we think and behave is new.   Many of these so-called people… many pastors and bishops… evangelists etc. included they have not lost that old man… he’s in the closet and peers out when the coast is clear.  And they do what they do… believing nobody is going to find out… until somebody lets the cat out of the bag.

You can’t condemn someone who condemns them-self.  The Bible tells us to judge them by their fruits.  I would not believe that would be in the Bible if we are to be blind by the ways and the wills… and ways of people.

I am not gay bashing as that would be ridiculous for me to do… having come out of ‘the life’ myself.  Though I hear we can be some of the biggest critics of it.  But I would not do that.   Least way I hope that I would not… even if I hadn’t come out of ‘the life.’

But I really think that my thoughts today come out of me recently coming in contact with someone who supposedly is in the church but living or trying to live his life as a woman.

Yes, I did say… trying to live his life as a woman in the church.  The guy looks some what like a woman to most people I guess.  But I noticed right off that something was out of sync about him.  No matter how much they try whether it be the arms… the adam’s apple or their legs… body structure or something else…   No one can truly wipe away totally who they really are.

And let me just say here and now before I forget it… our God does not make mistakes.

Evidently, this guy had taken the pills…not the 1 in this picture but the 1 that I am talking about having just met.  His voice sounds very much like a woman and if you didn’t notice certain things about him… he could easily past as woman to most people hands down.  But I came out of  ‘the life’ so I would be subject to pick up on certain things that most people simply do not catch… as I had come to know a lot of gay guys… many of whom were my friends.  I know them for the most part to be highly fantastic people… highly creative… kind and giving… so not so kind… but many of them loving the Lord.

What I do not like though is this… it is about the kind of people who move far away from home so people won’t know who they are and can’t recognize them as being so-and so’s  son or daughter.  They assume another life  and identity as whatever role they are playing… be it either a man or a woman… walking around tricking …or a better word ‘fooling’ people.  Or attempting to fool people.    No, I do not like this kind of people… at all.

They have eaten up all these pills to either make themselves look and sound like either a man or a woman.  And some of them have gone the distance and gotten the operation… removing their breast or male gentiles… growing breast or facial hair etc….

What also disturbs me about this… and perhaps the most.  It is this…  the fact that it is all a lie.  It also undermines God perfect order.  And it is highly deceitful when people walk around pretending to be something that they know they are really not… but look and sound every bit like it to unsuspecting people whom they charm into their lives …and never inform the truth… unless somehow forced to.

I foresee a time when many will be marrying such people unaware.  There have past cases where someone found out that either their husband or wife was not really a man… or a woman.  I even read not long ago of a case where a woman found out that her husband had really been her father.   The world truly has gone crazy.  And everything is turning upside down.

I recently was hired for a job… and from the jump I recognized immediately that the person introduced to me as a woman… was not a woman.  It is from that moment I think I was going to write this blog regarding this subject.  Because it bothered me.

I cannot lie and call someone a woman when I know that they are a man.  I do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings.   But to tell you the truth I would rather not come in contact with them.

Yes, back in the day I used to do it.   I used to say ‘hey, girl’…when I was hanging out to the gay guys… and play that game with them.   But I’m not that person today… or any more.    I don’t want to play that game.  And I just don’t want to lie… or aid or abet them in that lifestyle.

A lot of people do it.  They grin and smile all up in their faces (meaning the gay guys faces) …while ripping them apart when they are among their other friends… laughing and making jokes about them.  I have seen it.  And I might have done that myself… I think.

But these people (and I do not say ‘these people’ to demean anyone)… who live these kind of lives trying to fool people are truly ‘double-minded.’  Their mind is split… they are biologically whatever they were born… and then they are whatever they are pretending to be.  Over a period time yes… much because natural but still the core of who they really are cannot be removed by doctor… by pills… by surgery… or anything… unless God does it.  And we all know that He is not.

But what bothered me most about my meeting and supposedly working with this person… was that I knew them to be a liar from the very beginning.  You cannot be passing yourself off as something you know that you are not… and not be a liar.  If you would lie to me about a core thing such as who you were born to be… then how can I trust you regarding anything else?

And that was the dilemma I was thrown into.

And I just could not do it… because I knew the person could not be trusted… because he was definitely not a woman.

You cannot trust anyone who would introduce himself to men as a woman… with all the parts…having gone through the surgery… as though they were born that way.

I am not going to go to hell aiding someone in their lying by holding up their lie pretending like it is the truth.  No, I cannot do it.  But the people who brought us together… church folk… were and did do just that.  And I really could not understand it.

If there is 1 thing that I clearly understand… I understand that homosexuality is a spirit.  Now, I know many would disagree… and that is alright.  I will not argue the point.  But homosexuality is as much a spirit as lying can be on some people who will tell you a lie even when there is nothing to lie about.  Or as the spirit of drinking strong drink… or taking drugs.  The measure of a spirit is this… how they talk… walk… act out.

All people under the influence of alcohol slur… walk drifting from side to side or show some sign of being unstable on their legs… and can be funnier than usual or more argumentative or mean depending upon the spirit that has a hold of them.  The same is true with the spirit of homosexuality… their is a likeness in their mannerisms… hand movements… the way they talk etc.  Even with the women they take on similar characteristics…looks… mannerisms etc…. these traits are a mark of the spirit that is within them.   Some may say ‘I don’t have any gay mannerisms.’  Oh, yes they do… but they are not readily picked up by all people who don’t know what they are.  Because there are many gay people who pride themselves on being ‘invisible’... meaning they think nobody can tell that they are gay.

So, all sins are a spirit of 1 sort or another.  And if I were to hold up 1 sin or another I would be as bad as the people who doing that sin.

So, there are things I prefer not to become involved in… or with.  I can’t hold up a lie no matter how much I like you or may love you.  I would be contributing to the sin if I did… and I cannot do that.  That would make me a liar.  And lying is definitely as sin.  Should I lose my soul for the sank of holding up someone else’s sin by playing their game and introducing them as a woman when I know they are a man?

No, I cannot do that.  It does not mean I hate them.  It just means I can’t play the devil’s game.  And I will not be drawn into it… whether I like you or not.

It amazes me all the tricks the devil will play upon us.  The people who go through that thing they call ‘transitioning’ can get driver’s licenses that say whatever they change their new sex to.  Further evidence of a highly deceitful game.  And it is a game.

I feel sorry for anyone who believes that they were born the wrong sex.  I know that they are confused.  But they do not realize who has confused them.  Then others support that confusion by calling them ‘girl’ or ‘boy.’ 

I know devil to be a liar… and I am well aware of the tricks he can play on the mind… and it is a head game.  But I know someone who can remove the confusion and turn everything around… and make it right side up again.  His name is Jesus.

And I am not preaching… because preaching to the lost does them no good.  They are lost.  They have eyes but they cannot see… and ears but they cannot hear.  Until God removes the blinders and they step into his marvelous light… then they will come to see and understand how they were deceived.  It happened to me.  I know first-hand.  And I thank the Lord for Saving me… but it might not have happened if the church where God lead me had realized who I was at the time and what kind of spirit had a hold of me.

The problem is many churches… particularly African American churches chase out gay people… when God has called them in.  The Bible says that faith comes through hearing… and then it says ‘with love and kindness have I drawn thee.’  We must show love and compassion in our churches… and stop acting like none of us were ever in sin, or may still be as the case usually is.

Most church people won’t even testify about what God Saved them from.  But God did not give us a testimony for us to keep it to ourselves.   It is of none effect if we keep what God has done for us to ourselves.  It is to us His glory for us to share it.

I am thankful that God brought me out of lesbianism… and I will share it everywhere I go… along with all of His other goodness to me.  I am not shame that God lifted me up… and now I walk in liberty.

THE CHURCH and ITS PREACHERS… CHIRLANE MCCRAY NEW YORK CITY FIRST LADY…

Just in from our Holy Convocation I must say that I feel refreshed and excited about the things of the Lord.  Though in looking around and seeing so many old Bishops and Preachers with young wives and girlfriends… it is hard to believe that the Church has taken such a backward turn.  For the most part all I can see is that this new branch or bunch of women that these men have taken up with bring to the table is sex appeal.  What happened to man in leadership wanting a wife who could add to his ministry…and not just be something on his arm?

Thank goodness our President didn’t think like some of these Preachers here at this convention.  Though I guess you could say that Barack Obama was smart enough to get the best of both worlds… beauty plus smarts.  But for some of men of the clothe smarts does not seem to be what they are after these days.

I hate to say it… but some of the young ladies which frequent these conventions are so hot to trout and come in dressed like they headed for the party… and are out looking for whatever old man they can entice.

I saw 1 couple that when they approached me I would never have guessed that they were even together …not at all… until the young woman called the much shorter man… very wide in stature man…  older and seemed easily tired man and out of breath man–   Well, I would never have guess that they were together until she called him ‘baby.’   In hearing that my neck almost snapped as my head quickly jerked back in their direction.  I just would not have put those two people together …no way… and no how.  But they were.  Guess he had money… a big church or something.

It’s funny also because in a way 1 could say that that television show PREACHERS OF LA…  is timely in a not so funny way.  It certainly does not feature such things.  Well, maybe it does…but they haven’t got to that part yet… if they get to it at all.  And that is Bishop Noel Jones and how he impregnanted a much younger woman.

That show also sadly portrays a direction in which the Church is moving… more away from God and more towards the world.

When reflecting upon Biblical text… you might even say that it is scriptural.  Meaning you can find the same thing being done back then in olden times in the Bible.  It happened throughout scripture, in fact, that God’s people continually kept moving away from Him.

When you go back to the book of Nehemiah you find that there are some Priests, as well as, many of the people who have married outside of the Israelite nation.  God told them not to either go in to them or to allow them in to them… or their sons or daughters to go into the women or men of the other nations of the land.  But all through the scriptures you find that God’s chosen people polluted themselves by disobeying the commandment of God to keep their bloodline pure.  They married into other races and religious groups… got into idolatry… and it was to their doom.

In the Preachers of LA the relationship of Deitrick Haddon and the young lady who had his child… can clearly be classified as an unholy union.  Haddon had carried on a sexual relationship outside of his marriage… to which throughout the course of the television show Haddon proclaims, as a mere justification for his unholy actions… that he is a man.  As if all men have a legal right and obligation to go out and do whatever they want to… with whom or whatever they want to do it with… because they are men.

REALLY?

Show me that in scripture.

As someone who wants to proclaim himself to be a Pastor/Minister… clearly Haddon must know that such talk or understanding clearly goes against all Biblical scripture and cannot be justified by any means… outside of 1 merely proclaiming, ‘I was weak and I pray the Lord forgives me.’  Something which is not anything that Deitrick Haddon has dared to say or announced to have ever said.

In the case of Noel Jones it is highly unlikely that any woman… with any kind of brains under her cap would be with any man for 16 years and he not marry her.  Also, no woman in her right mind would be with a man for some 16 years and still be with him… if he had gone outside of their relationship and fathered a baby with some young girl as Noel Jones has done… and there has been no mention of ithat at any time in their conversations on that Preacher show.  And no self-respecting woman would continue to play like a fool for 16 long years with any man who seemed to be so uncaring and lacking emotionally towards her, as Noel Jones to that woman, Loretta, in the show Preachers of LA.

Not unless…   Well, not unless he is taking care of her REAL good…

I do not watch the show after finally happening to see the original first episode of it.  Not much is really said about the show…among church people.  But while at the Convocation 1 night for some reason that network that carries the show kept re-running the same show over and over again.  So, I finally did see another episode and it over and over again.   And I did not change my opinion on the show one iota as being garbage.

While at the Convocation my path and that of Ron Gibson’s did happen to cross… and it was all I could do to contain myself and hold my tongue, and not tell the man what garbage I thought the show was.

Preachers of LA validates everything that people who are against the church  already say and feel is wrong with the Church.  That show leads people to believe that all Preachers are scheming and trying to get rich off of their congregations… which is not totally true.  Though there are some clearly who this is all that are about.

The show also portrays that Pastors are not really actively in the business of Saving or winning souls from the pitfall of sin.  But they are getting rich,  ascertaining prestige and messing with women.  Which could very well be true depending upon where you go to Church… and who your Pastor is.

Now, in the case of Ron Gibson… he shows us his down and out sister who has been 30 years dealing with addiction.  Something that he says he brought into his family’s house when he became involved in gang life and drugs as a young man.  But to me it was odd how publicly he decided to show up his sister as a drug addict with himself as her crusader, coming in to save the day and help her.

After 30 years??

He does this now?

I only wondered why he had not tried to help her before the cameras started rolling… and why he felt comfortable doing so while the cameras were on him… making himself appear to be doing this great thing.  Wouldn’t it have been great that he had been helping her before to kick that habit?

But we never heard that testimony when this is business he’s supposed to be in for everybody and anybody, who needs him to come to them and help them to overcome the demons in their lives.

Another observation I have of Bishop Ron Gibson… is the fact that he claims he is no longer involved in gang activity, yet he sits before the TV camera wearing gang colors and clothing… like a Blood.  I don’t know if anybody else has caught that… outside of maybe those in gangs.  But I can’t help but wonder about how much ‘out of gang life’ Ron Gibson really is?

Then while I was in the hotel at the Convocation I also caught a commercial a couple of times about some black church… another new reality TV show.  Boy, are really zooming in on us.  This show is about where they help you straighten out your Church some kind of way.  What happened to prayer and simplification?

What is it about Black Churches that everybody is throwing our religious institutions to the dogs?

Well, maybe not everybody… but we ourselves.

It appears that our churches are all messed up.  and it appears that we are willing to sell our churches, congregations, worship, songs, music, and sanctuary services etc. off for a dollar.

That which was sacred… is sacred no more.  We can barely recognize the Church any more… and in some Churches neither can we recognize what used to be regular Church services.  There is nothing regular about it any more in so many of these new Church under many new young men stepping into leadership.  Some of these younger Pastors have a new-skool philosophy on how service should be held… and how to bring in more numbers of people.  They have removed the podium…the altar and everything else that remotely looks like the inside of a church.

In some of these newer Churches with young Pastors the congregation stands for the entire time like they are at some type of rally.  They jumping up and down like they are at a concert… because for them the service has pretty much turned into an event similar to listening to a concert performance, for the whole entire time, rather than a Bible teaching or preaching orderly service.  And many Church pulpits have been transformed into performing stages complete with flashing lights, and everything like that found in a club, used to seduce and entice people psychedelically.

In all this has the Church lost sight… or is loosing sight of holiness?

Has the Church forgotten how to reverence the Lord and His house… and His Holy Word?

If the Church becomes the new club or dance hall where will the Saved folk go?

A new norm is overtaking the Church and that is to not to resist the devil but to use his methods and tools… supposedly in the name of God.  So, along comes these shows such as Preachers of LA and everything else which diminishes what worship really is… what real Church service is about… what going to Church is really so supposed to be about… and more importantly how to reverence God’s sanctuary… and the things of Him.

When I came in I knew I had to write a blog today… but I did not know what I was going to write on.  Guess I found a subject…

Well, God bless… it is nearly the weekend.  It is about as close as you can get to it without being in the weekend, I guess.  And I am starting to get sleepy so I’m on to end now.

I had gotten an early morning call and now I’m feeling like it is time for me to go and lay down.  So, enjoy the rest of your day.  And if I fail to post another blog between now and Thanksgiving… enjoy it anyhow…

Before I jet out of here though let me say that sometimes we should really look deeper into some of these situations happening in many of our Churches today.  We see on YouTube where some woman punched the Pastor… all the time I want you to know that some of these people make you so frustrated with wrong doing that in the heat of a moment ‘yes’ somebody might loose it.

The Bible says that the Pastors have scattered His sheep.  And I do not think we see this happening more and more and more than today.  Sad but true.  I wish I could tell you some things right now… but they are coming.  And what a tell to tell…

There is so much going on in the Church that it would make your head spin.

And 1 more quick caption before closing…   Just can’t believe my home-girl, Chirlane McCray is the First Lady of New York City.  It is soooooo amazing… and I am very very very happy for her.  Fantastic person… truly…  I know that together they are going to do much needed good for New York City.

ELMO and MORE…continuation of PASTOR’S OF LA my take on it…

‘Awh, come on, Bern.  Where have you been?”

A friend recently ask me shocked, as we were engaging in a conversation via the telephone around a variety of subjects.  When some how or other the conversation fell upon poor little ole Elmo.

“You mean you haven’t heard?” my friend continued.

Then she commenced to ask me where I had been for the last year, as she claimed that the story surrounding Elmo had been a big 1.  Evidently, I had not been reading much by way of the news because when I looked it up on Google… I found that my friend had been right.  It had been a big story.  A story of sex… underage boys and a Sesame Street employee.

It  had to have been a very big and alarming  surprising shock to the world of children… and their parents I am sure.  Elmo was being sued.  Well, not Elmo to be exact… but the man who had… or as my friend claimed to have been the creator of Elmo.  I don’t know if he had been the creator of Elmo… but for the last 30 or so years, which I guess had been about as long as the period that my son last watched that show… being that he is now some 30 years old himself.   The man had been the voice of the Sesame Street puppet named Elmo.  A man by the name of Kevin Clash.

She said the guy was into young boys who were of mixed races, Hispanic and who had long flowing hair.

In Googling some pictures of the guy, here again my friend seemed to be correct.  He did like boys about 15 or so years of age… with their hair a certain kind of way.

I have to say, “Where had I been when this story broke?”

With the popularity of Elmo around the world… it really had to be a bit of a big shock to hear and then to read this story.  And to see pictures of the boys… suing the man.

I totally dislike stories like this… news items about people who prey upon people… destroying young lives …and particular the lives of children… even seniors… or those who suffer from some sort of mental diminished capacity.  Or preying upon anyone in general.

In reading over the news articles on the internet all I could think of were those past Christmas commercials regarding Elmo products… in particular the tickle me Elmo doll.  Elmo seemed for some reason to have captivated both the hearts of children and adults alike… and over time has become quite popular.

I thought of Melissa, a young school teacher friend of mine… whose email address was ‘Elmo something something’ or other.  Can’t remember exactly what… which is why I have not been able to email Melissa for quite some time now.  But she utterly loved Elmo.

I wonder how she feels now?

Well, I kind of know exactly how she feels… very much like me.  But I never was into Elmo… so, I suspect that she has dropped any association with Elmo now.  Though I must say… it really wasn’t Elmo’s fault.

But in case you never heard the story either.   Sesame Street dropped the guy… Kelvin Clash… and the 4 law suits that had been issued against him by varying parties… were I guess… based upon some of the articles I read on story were dropped due to the statue of limitations.  Though at least 1 of the articles I read said that 1 of the 4 boys… young men at this time… was paid off in a settlement $125,000.

Shame that for the most part they had no real legal recourse due to the law of the statues of limitation.  Tragedies that happen in your life never go away.   Ruining kids lives should never have a statue of limitations put upon them to prohibit them from coming back to seek damages, for things done to them to destroy their lives… as most kids try to forget those kinds of things.  And during the time of the abuse children do not know anything about having a ‘legal recourse’ against perpetrators… or any laws that would protect them… though nothing can really protect them from such people.   And for many it totally messes with their physique as to who they really are… and brings about conflicts in sexual identity.

Of 1 thing I am sure of… child abuse ruins lives… future relationships… dreams…  and a sense of security and/or self-confidence and self-worth that children growing into adults may or may ever have.

Now, on to the Oxygen network TV reality show called Pastors of LA… another conversation that me and my friend hit upon the other day while speaking on the phone.

She told me snickering into the phone, ‘Bern, I watched it four times.’

WHY?????

That is my question.

Yes, I finally caught it…. episode #1 on on-demand I saw it yesterday evening.  And they will not have to worry about me having a desire to see another episode.

I had wondered why it was when I went up on YouTube to see some video reviews of the show… I had found so few of them?  As a rule the people who watch these shows like throwing a camera… or their cell phone up on themselves while they give play by play comments on the shows.  But not so with this show.

Now I know why.  The show actually really is not worth talking about.  And I too have to admit… like Bishop T. D. Jakes… that the show to be ‘junk.’   Absolutely and completely…  pure ‘junk.’

It lacks any real reason for even being on TV outside of destroying what the Church is supposed to be really all about.  It makes leadership in the Church look bad and in particular… leadership in the Black Church.

People in the secular world already have a tainted view of Church and of most people in the Church… particularly when it comes to so-called Pastors.  Now this show only fuels those mis-perceptions.

If ever you want the Black Church shown in a bad light… then watch the Black Pastors of LA.  They will do it for you… bound to keep the captives bound… and sinners laughing.

Now what I am going to discuss next my friend, Linda and I did not discuss this story… however,  as I just happened to come across it just now.  But it struck a nerve so I decided to post it.

Somebody said to me…. ‘You know black people are starting to commit the same kind of crimes as white people.’   It was my cousin… now that I think back on it who said this to me just this week during a phone conversation I happened to have had with him.

If you are white please do not take offense… none intended.  This is, however, how we talk among ourselves… as I am sure you talk  among yourselves.

But it is true that there were certain type of crimes which black people never ever used to commit… least ways that was the perception.  In fact, when we heard that such and such type of crimes had been committed, such as mass murders… or people being buried in walls… or serial killings…etc… we often knew immediately that it could not have been a black person.  Least ways that is what we thought…. but very rapidly this has all changed.  We are becoming as guilty of committing crimes such as bondage… killing people and putting them in walls or floors (and still be living in the house) as everybody else …etc.

So, of course, this story would leap out at me… as almost all the other stories of teachers indulging in sex with their underage students… as far as I had read… were all white women.  And now… here comes this story.  A black woman… a math teacher… she had been carrying on sexual relations with under age boy students in the school she taught in, in Michigan.

Though as I begin to remember some things… I remember a young college student… a friend of mine… who had been involved with her high school counselor.  She had been under age when the relationship started… and it went on and on through her years in college… and I guess afterwards.  And they were both black.

So, I guess maybe the story of a black woman being charged with committing such a crime really should neither be a surprise nor a shock to me.  And certainly not something that I thought only happened along other color lines.

I guess we are all guilty of narrow thinking.  So, I must apologize for my narrow thinking in this  …and perhaps many other areas in my life.  It is ignorant to assume that only certain people do certain things.  It is absolutely not true… and my remember of my college friend and her sexual relationship with her high school counselor certainly proves it.  And I think that relationship messed up her entire life.

The girl was absolutely beautiful in her youth… not that she looks bad now.  But her youth is gone.   And that man eat it up.

I often think that if any of us should have been married… it should have been her.  But it never happened for her.  And I think it was or is because she wasted all her valuable time on a loosing proposition… a rat.   Her formative years were spent hanging on a string… of  a worthless predator who stole that part of her life from her.

Well, God bless… hope you enjoy the rest of your week… and your soon to come weekend.  They had said rain… but it did not come.  Now, it is sunny and warm… beautiful.  And I am looking for the rain to come any minute now… as they say sunshine all weekend long.

In going back to the female math teacher above and her sex scandal… I don’t know what goes wrong.  But I do know that things go wrong in the mind of women.  And if carried out we would all be in prison.

But then even men could say the same.  The ‘thing’ is nothing short of demonic spirits… and if none of use are careful or prayed up… they can grab a hold of us all…

WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE ABOUT??? WHO IS EDWARD SNOWDEN…

Concerning that guy held up in Russia.  The 1 who supposedly spilled all the beans on the U.S. eavesdropping on its citizens.

I really don’t get it.  Didn’t George Orwell spill the beans on that years ago, when he wrote that book that Big Brother was watching us… or would be.  Since the book was futuristic.

So, the future has arrived and we find that the United States and probably every other country on this planet, with any kind of good sense is listening in on its citizens.  Lets face it in the world that we live in today… it probably is a good thing that somebody other than thieves, murders… spies… rapists and espionage people etc. may or may not be listening in.

Oftentimes it appears that the wrong parties have the upper hand.   In watching some of these television shows a lot more contracts would be put out for somebody to kill his or her husband or wife over the phone… or some other kinds of craziness… if they didn’t believe somebody might be listening in.

We live in a time of great peril.  Hadn’t you heard, ‘Evil is everywhere?’

When George Orwell wrote ‘1984’ few people would have believed that 1 person would have be able to predict so much in our changing times that would someday come to pass.  But Orwell did.

Was he a prophet?

Or was he just a person with a keen sense of being able to look at things as they were, and then be able to assess how they would be some time in the distant future?

When Orwell wrote ‘1984’ it was just 1949.  What had been going on in the world then?

Had the first man walked in space by then?

No.

Had Kennedy been elected?

No.

So, what was happening in 1949 that Orwell could sit down somewhere and write a book called, 1984, that predicted events and changes in the world which did eventually come about?

One major thing was television.  Electronic gadgets were starting to come into the market.  The first commercial computer was introduced… didn’t do well and wasn’t well received.  But it was there.

Color came into the homes when RCA developed the first colorized television set.  China became a communist country and Russia unleashed the making of its first atomic bomb.  Family incomes were growing, consumer purchases were sky rocketing, and the U.S. had emerged out of the Great Depression… and the 2nd World War had come to an end, 4 years earlier in 1945.

Undoubtedly, the U.S. at this point had emerged as a great World power.  The Cold War between Russia and America was fully under way, and America’s Allies and its strength was growing.  The C.I.A. was becoming active in aiding in setting up governments, and placing men of soon-to-be-power into power around the world.  And Orwell was a journalist working for the BBC… the British Broadcasting Company.

When Orwell, a British Subject, as they say… and working for the BBC… wrote ‘1984’ he depicted a world run by a government that was omnipresent… observing all its people at all times… an existence totally politically directed by those in control…and where Big Brother’s eyes and ears were everywhere… an ever present force.

When you go outside today… out to the street and look up you see cameras on the street lights… hanging off of roof tops.  They even tiny little cameras and mics that can be placed into very unsuspecting places… even in public places all about.  Places like hotels… lobbies… even bathrooms… school rooms… commuter rails… even on someone’s person… etc.   Therefore, it should not surprise you that you are being recorded… or your actions watched.   We all have watched enough TV to see how detectives can go and acquire video footage from surveillance cameras in lobbies… parking lots etc… in order to aid them in tracking down criminals.  Cabs have them… police cars have them… and sometimes full camera crews.

If they can use such equipment to observe and track criminals… what made you think it could not be used to observe you too?

I was surprised when someone told me that all I had to do was Google my address… and see what came up.  What came up was not just a picture… but a whole satellite viewing of where I live… up and down my street… all around my house.

Then take for instance GPS systems… they can tell your whereabouts at any given time.  You use them as directional devices, but that directional device can be used to track you.  Such devices are embedded inside vehicles too by manufacturers.  So, if you fail to make your monthly payment they no longer have to search or try to figure out where you are… if you are trying to avoid repossession.  No, not any more.  They can push it up on a computer and come right to where you are… wherever that it .  And no matter where that is they will take possession of their property, depriving you of a vehicle until payment and fees are paid in full.

Rental cars too have embedded in them the same thing.  So that if a car is not returned timely the rental agency can go and get their property, as well.

When I read things on the social network it amazes me just how much information people share over such public outlets as the internet.  They list their jobs… home address… phone numbers… email addresses… schools they went to… towns they live in… had lived in… show pictures of their children… list the names of their relatives… and show their pictures etc…

When Edward Snowden decided that he could no longer work for whatever governmental agency that had hired him here in the U.S.A… because his conscious bothered him concerning how this government is secretly listening in on conversations of American citizens… my only question that came to mind was this…

Out of all the countries Snowden could have ran away to… why Russia?

I have heard people speak of Russia… ex-citizens of that country.  And that government routinely indulges in practices that cannot even begin to come close to just listening in on its citizens conversations.

I was sitting in one of my college classes once… which wasn’t so very long ago contrary to popular belief… and this Russian woman came into our class to visit and speak about her country.  She was a guest of our Professor.  She spoke of how in Russia you could not just go into business unless the government allowed you.  She talked about how the Russian government controlled the newspapers and television… all the media outlets in Russia.  And how everyone there… in Russia was under the restraint and control of the Russian government.

So, isn’t it ironic to anyone outside of myself… did you not think it strange that Edward Snowden would have ran from Japan to go to Russia trying to seek asylum there?

It is very contradictory at the very least.

We are living in the turmoils of the many diverse problems in this world today, which include bombing of public places to kill and/or hurt as many people as possible.

I am one who believes that if the crooks and hackers can assess our systems, read our emails, go into our accounts… listen in on our conversations, go up over the internet to case our exact location and homes… apartments… where we eat… what we buy… then why would Snowden’s disclosure that our government is doing it… be of any great surprise or shock to me or any one of us?

It wasn’t… least ways not to me.   I was never upset when after 911 they started stopping subway trains in New York City to do random bomb searches.  And neither were any of the other passengers on the subways I rode with… we all understood the times we had just stepped into when the Twin Towers came tumbling down after being flown into by those 2 airplanes.

Why should I be?

Being held up for those searches we all understood… as we knew they were trying to protect us.  Save more people from being killed senselessly.  So, if the government has taken to listening in on phone calls and watching people… whose fault is that?

Whose fault?

The perpetrators.  Clearly, they would love our government to sit back and do nothing… but wait until the next strike comes… like helpless children.

Did not some kind of plan have to go into effect in defense of people possibly flooding into America to destroy her, and those of us who live here.

Yes, I do believe that Snowden should be prosecuted.  Because he chose that job.  I am sure that he was not brought into that job without the U.S. government informing him that he was going to come in contact with highly classified information.  And based upon that… and I would have to believe that any oath he may have taken in order to obtain that job… which I assume paid Ed Snowden royally… he had a duty and responsibility to live up to.  Up to the secrecy and security that that position called for him to maintain.

Information that has to do with the security of our country, and the means by which that information is extracted should be left to those who are the safe-keepers.  However, should methods and techniques such as using undue force, harassment and intimidation etc. to acquire that information… those things I am totally and 100 per-cent against.  And these are things that I hope anyone being party do bring forward… but I cannot put listening-in-on… upon that same level.

Now, had Snowden’s information been of something along the nature that may have caused mass harm or life threatening… like say the government was doing something that was detrimental to us… our health and/or welfare then I would weigh in on Snowden’s right of consciousness to do the right thing by disclosing that info to us.  But to merely tell us that we are being listening in on by the government…  No, that information played more to divulging our country’s security practices, more than any personal life threatening issues that we all needed to be made aware of.

I cannot begin to tell you the number of times I called the New York Telephone company to complain about other people being on my phone line.  I could hear whole 2-way conversations.  And I was sure that they could do the same when it came to my calls.

There was a time in this country and most countries, I suspect… when telephones first got started that there were nothing but what they then called ‘party-lines.’  Telephone lines where you could pick up the phone and if someone was on that line talking to someone else, you just hung up and waited until you could get a clear line.  So, the ability to listen in on phone lines… and phone calls has a very long history, which dates back to the beginning of telephone service.

Lets face it,  we are all aware that most of the phone lines and/or computer internet lines that we work on and/or talk over, and text over are not secure.  In fact, when the portable phones came into being… you remember those cordless phones with the long antennas.  Everybody knew that you could be listened in on at any given time, due to the lines crossing, by anybody in your neighborhood.

I frankly do not know anyone who talks about anything really important over a telephone… or in an email… or in a text.

We all of us…   Or should I say most of us remember that it was text messages that brought down the Mayor of Detroit in his escapades with his Office Administrator, Kwame Kilpatrick.

So, then how important was Snowden’s disclosure?

Not very.  It just let out of the bag… and made public to all the world something that most people already understood to be happening or could possibly be happening anytime they picked up a telephone or cell phone to use it.

I would imagine that you would be very hard press at these times to find any country that is not using some type of surveillance system and/or listening devices in order to stem the tide of bombings, country take overs, aid in fighting against drugs and/or corruptness on ever level everywhere.

George Orwell when he wrote his book, 1984, saw many things.  But he did not see the changes that would become necessary in a world that man would turn against man, for no unknown reason… or a just cause.  Outside of shear hatred of a culture… and the freedoms of 1 country over another.  Or a right to practice a different religion.

Snowden a 30 year old ex-C.I.A and National Security Agency employee leaked details on several top secret United States and British surveillance intelligence.  A proclaimed Buddhist and whistle blower, Snowden grew up primary in North Carolina.  And when all of this broken… this story on U.S.A secret surveillance programs… and about Snowden turning over these highly confidential government secrets, he had been assigned to a U.S. post in Japan, where which he later fled to Russia seeking asylum from the United States as a spy… espionage and theft of government information.

Well, God bless…  Well, I’ve got to run.  I’ve noticed that the campuses are starting to come alive again.  Saw a few school buses drive pass me today… a clear signal that school is just about in again.  Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.  The weather here is beautiful.  Such a relief from all the tremendous heat we had been going through.

UPDATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2013…  Russia has now given asylum to Snowden.  Supposedly it is for a year.   But some South American country had offered Snowden asylum prior… but Snowden did not accept it.

It all strikes me as being a bit too odd.  Why would this guy want to defect to Russia… of all places?

If he is so big on human right… the right of the public citizens… our right to not have government listening in on our conversations… then why choose Russia, of all places?

I am beginning to believe that Snowden was… and is a Russian spy.   From the very beginning this guy was a little to shady, as they say in ‘the hood.’  First he was ‘anonymous.‘  Then he ran away getting as quickly as he could to Russia?

This whole supposed whistle-blowing thing… I believe it will be proven to have been some kind of  a scheme, cooked up as a well thought out plan for Snowden to have released American Intelligence claiming it was due to  his conscience bothering him over what the American Government was doing.  When it was nothing more than sheer just fabrication on his part and those working with him, to cover-up who Snowden really is… and just who he was really working for in the first place.

Truthfully speaking if they found out today that this whole thing was just 1 big fat lie… I would not be surprised.

Who in their right mind defects to Russia… a country with a history of routinely victimizing its citizens and invading their privacy?

Something is way out of whack here.  And it just does not smell right.

ZIMMERMAN TRIAL ONE BIG FARCE…

If it had been a Saturday Night Live skit from beginning to end then maybe it might have been funny.  Except for the fact that someone’s life was grievously taken this whole thing was anything but a joke.

I really do believe that the prosecution… the DA office… should first of all be investigated.  Because this trial was one of the biggest disasters since Ojay Simpson.  From the picking of the jurors to that supposed medical autopsy doctor something was seriously wrong.

Why in the first place were 6 women chosen for the jury, and primarily, if not all of them, white?

One could hardly call that a group of George Zimmerman’s peers.  None of them appeared to me to look in anyway like George Zimmerman’s true peers… whom I would believe to be men about his age, of similar backgrounds etc.. etc..  And on what merits were those women chosen?

Based upon things said by Juror #37 once it was all over… if she can be believed… they all went into the jury pool already with their minds made up before they were even chosen to be jurors.   And some like Juror #37 … I have no doubt also had hidden agendas like coming out with their own book deals and television interviews.

So, just how did such people make the cut and end up in that jury box?

Why would anybody question supposed jurors saying… ‘Knock knock, whose there?’

What kind of jury selection did that of retarded examination of possible jurors bring about?

Maybe the prosecution was just trying to determine who was brain dead from who wasn’t.  And he chose the brain dead.

When you truly look at this case you have to ask yourself was the prosecution for Trayvon Martin’s family… or was the DA office working against them?

When doctor KooKoo… don’t know his name and I am not going to try to find out.  But when that man took the stand… now the whole thing really went into the Twight Light Zone.

Was this man really a doctor?

Had he not ever been prepared by the prosecution office for this hearing before hand?

Did he really know anything about doing or handling an autopsy?

To all these questions the answers appears to be a resounding ‘NO.’

From the moment that autopsy doctor opened his mouth the lawyers supposedly representing Trayvon Martin, the victim in this case, should have entered ‘OBJECTION’ after objection.  Through this whole trial Perry Mason and Matlock were probably rolling over in their graves… and they weren’t even real lawyers.  But I sure could hear some ‘objections‘ needed to be stated.

For 1 thing, the autopsy doctor referred to having conferred with another doctor regarding marijuana.  Objection!

Since the other doctor was not there to substantiate that conversation… testimony of such should have been objected to.

Two, that autopsy doctor came to court with some notes which he stated he had prepared the night before.  Objection!

Here was a guy who clearly stated that he could not remember the facts of his autopsy.  Then why should notes written by him some… what 12 or so months later be allowed in as part of his testimony?

If he could not remember any facts on that autopsy, then clearly any notes written mostly recently would be moot and should have been of no apparent good in this case.  Because they would be based upon his present memory or recollections as opposed to when he actually performed the autopsy.

Thirdly, the autopsy doctor was confrontational… and I don’t know how long he had been in this country… but he kept acting like he didn’t understand English.  So, then how good was a testimony of anyone like that… who might not be really sure about what he was saying?

One has to wonder whether or not the autopsy doctor was paid off?

And if he worked in my department… after that performance on the witness stand… whether he was either performing to be highly incompetent or really is highly incompetent… I would have sent him packing. FIRED!

That guy was definitely highly unprofessional.  And I cannot help but wonder if it was not just an act on his part.

Nextly, one really has to wonder….

‘WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THE PROSECUTION CALL this woman to testify?

Did they not go over her testimony with her?

Did they not know what questions to avoid… like ‘what did he say about the man watching him?’   Her response…. ‘He called him a creepy ass cracker.’

WHAT????

Could that testimony not be any more damaging to this case?

She had to have say that to the prosecution before they even put her on the stand.  So, they knew it would be damaging to Trayvon, for the jurors to hear that.

It appears that the prosecutors in this case purposely set about to sabotage it.  Not once… not twice …but time and time again.

There are various other parts of this case which just do not add up.  Such as why the prosecution did not push further with all those witnesses on Zimmerman’s side which claimed it was ‘Georggie’s voice‘ that they recognized as the person screaming.

We live in a time of vast technological equipment.  Equipment that is able to do voice recognition… voice separation… voice isolation… voice tracking… voice this and voice that…   Including removal of any additional sounds outside of what you are focusing on.  They have equipment that can do just about anything you want it to do… including voice distortion and correction.

So, then why was no technical equipment used in this case to determine who the possible screamer really was?

Equipment could have been rolled into that court and that recording played over and over for those witnesses… recordings mixed with fake voices screaming to see if they could determine the real recording or the fake.  Experts in sound and voice could have been called in to testify… but they were not.  Nor was any equipment used to decipher whose voice it really was that had been screaming.

I listened to the 911 calls with the screams in the background… and coming from years in radio I have a very good ear.  And those screams did not come from a 27 or 28 year old man.  Nor was the voice non-African American.  And on top of all of that… just ask yourself who screams for help when they have a gun in their hand?

Remember, now… that there was no evidence that Trayvon’s hand was ever on Zimmerman’s gun.  There was no evidence in fact that Trayvon ever even touched Zimmerman.  The forensic people found no traces of Zimmerman’s DNA under Trayvon’s nails… nor any bruises on his hands or knuckles.

The other issue in this case was the fact that there was so much 911 evidence in this case was against George Zimmerman.  On 1 recording of a 911 operator, she clearly asked Zimmerman ‘are you following him?‘

To which Zimmerman answered ‘yes.’

That operator told Zimmerman to stop following Trayvon and to get back into his car.   Which George Zimmerman certainly from the outcome in the death of Trayvon… totally ignored.

Also, based upon the merits of that 911 recording alone Zimmerman was clearly stalking Trayvon.  Therefore, Zimmerman was the predator… a man with a gun who approached an unarmed young person, who later was found shot to death by him.  One bullet straight into his heart.

I have no doubt that George Zimmerman perpetrated a hate crime against Trayvon Martin.  And that his call to 911 was a systematic attempt on George Zimmerman’s part to build a scenario for that 911 operator, for circumstances that he would later claim provoked him into the killing  of Trayvon Martin.  An act which I believe came across Zimmerman’s sick mind probably from the moment his eyes fell upon the young black teenage, Trayvon Martin, walking in the darkness of night… in the rain on his way home from the corner store.

The statements that Zimmerman made in his 911 call clearly show a concise and calculated mind working, at setting up a painted picture of the young black teenage male, whom he was following claiming that he ‘looked like’ a criminal and ‘was out to do’ something illegal.  While on the contrary, Trayvon Martin was just a kid who happened to be on his way home from a local corner store.  And it was Zimmerman who was the 1 working with a criminal mind… and a blind intent to kill a young innocent boy.

There are many people who believe that George Zimmerman was protecting himself… standing his ground, if you will.  As Florida has a law called ‘Stand Your Ground.’  Meaning you have a right to protect yourself if you feel that your life is threatened.

Zimmerman had taken self-defense classes, was carrying an armed weapon, and he had aspiration of being a cop and/or lawyer like his dad, who just so happened to be a judge.  Trayvon Martin had not taken any martial arts classes, and was only carrying a small bag of candy and a can of ice tea.  Based upon that… who do you really think was more lethal?

I sincerely hope the Federal Government steps into this case, because the ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law is a very dangerous piece of law.  It reminds me of the ol’ south when white men would purposely go out seeking to start trouble with a black man or woman. So, they would step in front of them or do something to elicit some type of response from the victim, via their coercion of them.  Whereby many black men and women were either killed, endangered, terrorized, houses burnt down, lost their businesses, and/or chased out of town etc…

Such laws as Stand Your Ground were and are not meant to protect all people… just certain people.  And this case involving the brutal murder of Trayvon Martin is a clear indication of that.

What right more or is necessary …or does this law of ‘Stand Your Ground’ give to anyone, that has or is not given already by the Declaration of Independence in this country?

The Declaration of Independence  states ‘all men’…  not some have more rights than others.  It states that all men are created equal… with certain unalienable rights.  And it begins by saying… We hold these truths to be self-evident.  It then goes on to say…. that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Unalienable rights… what are those?

They are God given rights.

The right to defend ourselves is a right given to each and everyone of us.  Whereas, such laws as ‘Stand Your Ground’ are intended  and are only applied for certain people… and not for others.

Back in the days… lets go to the days after slavery when supposedly the slaves had been freed.  Yet, they were not allowed to look white people directly in the eyes.  And often were taunted into some type of reaction for which they may have been killed… whipped… spat upon… mocked etc…

One could hardly say that they… those black folk then did not have a right to respond to such actions to provoke them.  But based upon certain imposed or otherwise implied or ‘understood’ laws, mostly in the old south… laws not written but understood based upon you… meaning black folk… knowing ‘our so-called place.’

Did not Trayvon Martin have a right to go to the store,  and a reasonable right then be able to return home safely without some mad man shooting him down killing him for no apparent reason… other than his skin color?

Where were the rights of Trayvon Martin ever addressed in this case of the City of Sanford vs. George Zimmerman?

If indeed, Trayvon had been straddling Zimmerman in a fist fight.

Did not Trayvon Martin have the God given right given to him by nature, if no other law could protect him… than the law of self-preservation?

Why should Travyon Martin then have been demonized for trying to protect himself against someone whom he perceived to be a perpetrator who was out to kill him… when Zimmerman walked upon him and shoved that gun up in his face?

There was not 1 point or place where you can truly say that the prosecution truly tried to win this case.  They did a lousy job of picking jurists.  They failed to object to various infractions and irregularities as they appeared in this case.  And they never seemed committed to win at all.

If the truth be told this case never should have been held in Sanford, FL… but in some other county if not state.  The authority and connections of Zimmerman’s judge father made this case an impossible case to get a fair trial in such a small little town… with so much at stake, and so many hands easily washed.

This is 1 of those rare times that I must say I disagree with Bill… That is Bill Crosby.  Bill says you can’t prove that Zimmerman is a racist.  Yes, that might well be somewhat true.  But you can’t prove that he isn’t a racist either.  Ooooh, wait a minute…

Wasn’t it Zimmerman who did all that racial profiling of Trayvon Martin in his 911 call, before he actually shot him to death?

That alone gave you a keen insight as to what or how George Zimmerman felt about young black males.  And his actions spoke the rest.

Anyone who would have racially profile someone as in-dept as George Zimmerman painted that picture in his 911 call, of what Trayvon Martin looked like, his demeanor… his supposed behavior… etc.  cannot be considered anything less than a racist.   And there is no way of getting around that.

Zimmerman said that the person he was ‘following’ was someone who looked like he was up to no good… that it appeared as though he’s on drugs or something… he’s black or Hispanic… he has his hands on his waistband (meaning like he was packing a gun).   And then Zimmerman said… ‘these @#!# they always get away.’

In the CNN story below the person being interviewed states that the Trayvon Martin case was not a case of racial profiling, because racial profiling can only take place when someone is involved in law enforcement.  I am a dissenting voice to this theory and statement with regard to this case.  Because that definition can be extended to include anyone ‘believing’ he is a law enforcement officer. There is no secret about George Zimmerman and history of fantasying becoming a cop.

A psychologist should have been brought into this case who could have clearly said that George Zimmerman portrayed certain traits, habits,  and forms of behavior and language  that indicated he felt he was operating as a cop.  When taken into perspective even George’s scio-background, family history, and his history of prepping himself and taking up martial arts etc. all unquestionably show Zimmerman to be a man possessed with a deep rooted desire to be cop, or someone involved in some matter in law enforcement.  Hence, his position as ‘CAPTAIN’ of the neighborhood watch.

It is quite clear that George Zimmerman wanted to be a police officer.  When that avenue did not open up to him… he then tried to study law.  And that failed too.

So, the next step was to join the neighborhood watch.  It is not hard to draw a correlation between that and George actually being a cop on the beat.  George Zimmerman was clearly and unequivocally a wanna-be-cop, and all his actions  and language on the night, in which he confronted Trayvon Martin, attest to it.  And this is not a large leap or even a very short hop to get to.

The other thing about Zimmerman… he obviously suffers from  a feeling of wanting to be a hero.  He appears to be the kind of person you read about who goes to work in a hospital…and awaits an opportunity to unplug somebody’s life support machine… then quickly plug it back in just in the brink of time, then claim that he saved that person’s life.  When in reality he was the person who had thrown the person’s life into jeopardy in the first place.

It is not hard to see that Zimmerman was… or is… a loser.  Perhaps even a black sheep in a family, of what seems to be full of people who are professionally involved in law enforcement in varying capacities.  But everything and time that George tried to do in order to get in… it would appear that he just could not make the cut.

I had a dispute with a friend over George’s weight.  Because at 1 point there arose this question of Zimmerman’s weight as opposed to the weight of Trayvon Martin.  Which of course should have also been a key point in this case.

When Zimmerman finally turned himself in… some 45 days after the killing of Trayvon… it was apparent to me that Zimmerman had gone on some type of crash diet during those days.  The issue was  whether or not Zimmerman weighted considerably more than Trayvon Martin?  Even in the picture of above of Zimmerman being lead into court … you can see that the suit he is wearing is a lot larger than he is.  However, during the hearing walla… a much fuller fatter Zimmerman, and his clothes seem to fit him just fine.  Meaning Zimmerman’s body mass between the time Zimmerman shot Trayvon and the time Zimmerman finally went to trial… shows Zimmerman at his true weight and mass, when the young teenager was shot to death.  But, of course, Zimmerman’s side had good reason to want to dispel the fact that Zimmerman was much heavier in body weight to Trayvon.  Hence, Zimmerman’s miraculous weight lose before turning himself into the police department in Sanford.  Otherwise, that story made up by the Defense Attorneys of a helpless and fearful George Zimmerman at the hands of a Trayvon Martin just would not have played out.  Nobody would have believed that.

So, George had to lose that weight.  Which, of course, as you see in his court pictures that he totally gained back.

Then there is the camera footage of Zimmerman that night following the supposed fight that lead to the untimely demise of a young Trayvon Martin.  Zimmerman’s head had no cuts or lacerations.

If the truth be told there were a lot of ‘so-called’ myths that the Zimmerman team wanted to dispel… and some they wanted to seriously promote.

Some myths about Zimmerman…

• 1. He always told the truth
• 2. His family was full of truth loving people
• 3. Zimmerman didn’t stalk Trayvon
• 4. Zimmerman was really in fear of his life
• 5. Zimmerman feared Trayvon was going to kill him
• 6. Zimmerman was a good law abiding citizen
• 7. Zimmerman had great reasons to believe his life was in danger

Some myths the Zimmerman team wanted to promote about Trayvon…

• 1. Trayvon was a wayward kid
• 2. Trayvon was a trouble maker
• 3. Trayvon was an addict
• 4. Trayvon was out looking for trouble
• 5. Trayvon was out to kill Zimmerman
• 6. Trayvon beat Zimmerman
• 7. Trayvon had a right to be killed

Let me stop right here.  Who has ever seen anybody who fell to the ground hitting their head?

When did they get up with a cut or cuts?

I have hit the ground and have seen people bang their heads and they always ended up with a knot in their head.  Big bump.  The harder they fell the bigger the bump on their head.  But never did I see a straight cut appear in anybody’s head, from someone falling to the ground and hitting their head.

Here again is a big problem that I had with the forensic evidence in this case.  These are the kinds of things that real professions are called into Court to testify about.  But this case had no real forensic people.  No big wig specialist… like in the Ojay Simpson case.

Those cuts on the back of George Zimmerman’s head could have clearly been blown up and recognized as having not been done by some type of fall to the ground.  And lugging all the concrete sidewalks in the world into court could not prove otherwise.

This case had so many missed opportunities on the part of the DA office… you really have to wonder if they ever intended to try this case to win it?

And that answer here again would have to be a resounding ‘NO.’

Clearly, Trayvon Martin’s case biggest opposition or problem were the very people who were supposed to be seeking justice for his murder.

I really do hope that Mr. President, Barack Obama, sends in the Feds to take on this case.  Because Trayvon Martin truly deserves justice.  He had done nothing for which his young life should have been stolen from him.  And by his cries for help… he dearly did not wish to die… or deserved to.

Bill Cosby, Charles Barkley, Shari… whatever her name on the View, President Jimmy Carter… and many others who felt that this case and its verdict was just… definitely missed something.  This was no ‘new thing.’  It is something that we as black folk in America have long had to deal with.  Trials like this one are not new.  And we have come to recognize them when we see them… and know them when we hear their verdicts.

All of this… the trial and the circumstances which brought about the trial are all historic.  Even to the having of some black folk who want to say ‘Oh, it wasn’t racist.’  When it clearly was nothing but racist.  Race had everything to do with Trayvon Martin being killed… and there is just no getting around it.

I was really hoping… as we always do… that the jury would do the right thing based upon the shear merits of this case… and also having full knowledge that Zimmerman was a liar.   Also, being fully aware that it was Zimmerman not Trayvon who had been the provoker.  But in looking back over the court pictures… where Zimmerman does an awful lot of smiling for a man, who should believe he might be found guilty, and have to spend the rest of his life inprison.  Too much smiling in fact…

So, now looking over these pictures and seeing this smiling Zimmerman, it appears to me now that Zimmerman knew how this case was going to go to end up right from the very start.   That is really very unfortunate… money and power play a big factor in the outcome of a lot court outcomes.  But I guess having a father with connections… goes a long way to assuring a favorable outcome.

I just finished watching a video of Geraldo Rivera talking about the Trayvon Martin case.  It is funny how much people change over time.  I thought Geraldo used to be a lot smarter.  Based upon Geraldo’s take on this case, any one of us could have been shot dead and would have been alright.  Based upon Geraldo’s assumption, if we look just like some black guys who were supposedly vandalizing that neighborhood then it is okay to kill you.

Now, how stupid is that… and ignorant?

I don’t know how long the myth that all black folks look alike has been going around in America… but it has.  We know we don’t look alike… but to some people we all look like criminals …murders… crack fiends… and welfare fraud people etc…

Shame on Geraldo.  He must be trying to get a new tv show or renew his contract.  Some people will do and say anything… for a little money.  He must need it real bad…  And he sure looks old.

Guilty by looking like a criminal.  Trayvon was dressed just like most teens dress, black or white… Hispanic or Asian etc… You see them all day long with hoodies everywhere… going to school… coming from school… riding skateboards… on bikes.  When did wearing a hoodie mean you were a criminal?

And though I do not like the style… it is a style for the kids… shagging pants.  A hoodie and shagging pants does not make anyone a criminal.  Much less worthy of dying.  And because somebody’s house or neighborhood is having problems does not mean you go out shooting anybody you think looks like the type who did it.

Where is the justice in that?

I pray justice and peace for the Martin family… and America.

I have to admit that on this topic Mike Tyson spoke saying something that I very much can agree upon… or with him on.  When asked what he thought about this case… Mike said, “I don’t know any more than what I have seen on television.  But I do know that kid should not have ended up dead.”

In happening to catch a segment of The View, they were discussing the trial and I have to say that I truly admire Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s stance on this, and her outrage is truly worthy of my mentioning.  As a mother ever woman should be highly upset regarding the circumstances of this case, and the cruel, brutal and cold blooded murder of Trayvon Martin.

I did… but I have mostly done so on Facebook.

The other reason is I sprang my right foot.   It has been a few weeks now.  I had pain in it before… but not realizing it after I stepped into a hole and twisted my foot that I had done damage to it.   Which while at a convention in Baltimore I had plenty of time in between limping around, and trying to stay off of it… I spent a lot my down time watching the case on TV.  Because there wasn’t much else I could really as my foot was killing me.

My foot is still bothering me.  I understand it takes about 16 weeks for a sprang foot to heal.  So, I am trying to stay off of it as much as possible still.

And the other reason it took me so long to write this blog was, of course, the weather… ALL THIS HEAT.

It has been soooooooo hot and humid here.  The humidity was almost unbearable.  Every time I got up to do the slightest thing… sweat would be pouring down my face… my nose… my brows etc…   I was showering up to 6 times per day.  Because I cannot stand to be sweaty… even with an aching foot.  Yeah, pain or no pain into the shower I went.  But the weather has broken now.  And I hope it stays this way.

I certainly hope you fared well… better than me in all this heat… and got done all you needed to do.  Have a good rest of this week… and I will catch you again soon.  I’ve got to go put my foot back up.

PAULA DEEN CHEF BY DAY… RACIST BY NIGHT… THE FIRST FAMILY…

Sometimes things just slip out when we least expect them to.

Sometimes some of the things we do and say may not seem hypocritical or hurtful to us.

Sometimes things just catch up with us.

Sometimes we pretend to be 1 way but really are another.

Which of these scenarios do you think best fits celebrity chef Paul Deen?

When 1 of my next door neighbors stopped me to tell me this story I must admit I did not understand what she was saying.  I thought she was talking about some radio station DJ acting a fool again, like Imus in the Morning had done… before he got canned.  But it was not until my son began to tell me this story that I finally got a clearer picture of what my neighbor had been trying to say to me.

Not a big television watcher I really was not familiar with the name, Paula Deen.  Though my neighbor had said it and said it again several times, as if I should have known her personally.  But of course I did not.  But now that I have looked up the story, I have to admit that I had caught Paula Deen at least once tossing in a couple bars of butter into some dish she was preparing on the Food Network.

One could hardly say that what she said was purely by accident.  Meaning it was how she was accustom to talking… though never before the cameras.  And why not I wonder?

Well, maybe because she knew it was wrong.  That it was backwards and intolerable.  But however backwards that way of thinking is and talking… it finally caught up with Paula Deen.  Oh, yeah, she can blame it on her back home training and down-home southern roots.  But can that really justify what Paula said… or has been talking for years?  I mean she is a grown woman… a grand-mother at that besides being a big time TV chef.  So, she is certainly old enough to know that using that word or any word like it was unacceptable and offensive to many.  And that the times have long ago changed… when white people could simple use such words and get away with it.

Let us examine this in its totality.  Exactly what did Paula Deen say?

Well, it seems that Paula Deen liked throwing around the ‘N’ word.  She and her brother,  a partner with her is some restaurant they own together.   They both based upon reports liked calling some of their non-white workers by the ‘N’ word.   And Paula called a TV assistant the word a few times too many it certainly appears.

In a legal action brought against Paula Deen …and 1 possibly against her brother too,  both are accused has having referred to African American employees as the little ‘N’ word.  In various news reports it is stated that her brother continuously referred to at least 1 employee as ‘a little monkey.’  And it also seems that Paula Deen was planning someone’s wedding… where get this… Paula decided it would nice to have a ‘plantation style wedding’ with some little (the ‘N’ word) running around and dressed up like slaves.

Now, how far in denial was she?

Who did she believe would not get upset or find that ‘offensive?’ 

There are people who just do not want to let the ol’ south go.  They want to pretend like the Civil War really did not happened.  And that the ol’ south will rise up once again.

So, yeah I would say that Paula Deen’s out and out racists remarks and backward thinking deserved to get her booted off the Food Network… seeing that many African Americans love that channel, and many other minority people, as well.  And a whole lot of ethnic cooking goes on on that network.

In fact, many of Paula Deen’s southern style recipes have their direct roots in the African American style of cooking… whether Paula would admit to it or not.

So, lets face it we live in a big world… full of lots of people of all sorts… all kinds of nations and religions etc.  And the world and its people are forever growing.

Is it not time that we put aside ever strife and ill thinking when it comes to people who do not look like us?

But there are some people who just want to believe that they are more superior to other people.  That they are smarter… more progressive… higher achievers… more accomplished etc… etc… etc.  And there are... but it is just not the ones who usually think they are.

When you go back into history and really track this thing… if the  truth be total all civilization got its start in Africa.  The first universities, libraries, mathematicians etc… you name it… architects, astrologers etc. etc… all of it got started in African.  In fact, scientists today are still mystified by some ancient ruins.  They are even still trying to figure out just how certain structures such as the pyramids had been built.

The books say Africans were not seafaring people.  But historical events defy that lie.  In Biblical scripture, II Chronicles 8:18, it speaks of a man named, Huram, who was a master builder who had built up cities for King Solomon, for storage of his chariots and riches.  This man Huram also had servants who manned his ships.  Yes, the Bible said ‘ships.’  And it also said that this man’s men possessed knowledge of the sea.

Which goes to say that yes even way back then, thousands of years ago, in Solomon’s time African men were building large sea vessels and riding the seas.   When you consider the land mass of Africa in Biblical times… Africa stretched straight to and included Asia.   Which takes me to another point and that is… that the entire Bible basically takes place in Africa… not in Europe except for when Caesar and Rome come into the picture, and those other places across the Mediterranean Sea, such as Macedonia and Greece etc.  As all the countries and/or nations as we know them today had not been birth yet… nor boundaries such as those of today, therefore, Africa in its time had to have been very powerful.  This is something which has never been reflected in any of our history books.

The history books also do not reflect all the great contributions and inventions created by African Americans even while in this country.  And there a tremendous amount of them of considerable importance not only to this country but to the world… but there is a reason.

This reason goes all the way back to the myth and historical stereotyping of us that had been created and propagated by those who desired to keep what they called us back then ‘darkies’ in their place.  So, the myth was that we were not smart… could not learn… were lazy and shiftless.  Also, as time went on it became that we were born criminals… and scoundrels… and not to mention that we were less than human… animals to be owned and bred.

And so… here we are today in the 21st Century still having to deal with old myths and stereotypes … and names made to keep us down… hold us back and seemingly needy.  They were created to hinder us and our children from ever achieving anything in this country… least of all any level of pride and our own sense of real self-worth.

It is interesting that this Paula Deen thing has come up when it has… as I happened to catch a portion of a television program Sunday.  As I have already made mention in at least a couple of my prior blogs, as well as, this 1 I really rarely watch television any more… but I happened to be over my sister’s house this weekend, and normally while there I try to catch up on my television watching… as there is really nothing else for me to do there except to watch television.  So, this show was called ‘THE FIRST FAMILY.’  It was… or is supposed to be a spoof on the Obama family in the White House.  Needless to say I found it to be repulsive and a slap in the face to our real First Family.

I remember sitting in class and a discussion came up about a made for TV movie on the Reagan family during Reagan’s White House years.  Mind you that this discussion was years after Regan was dead and after he had long left the White House.  Yet, the outcry against that movie was soooooo great.  Every talk show hosts and news medium was doing a story on the uproar that movie was causing.  The TV network that was set to air the movie backed out… and another network picked it up.  But there were tons of letters …there were lots of phone calls… there were a lot of screaming and hollering over this movie about this man, Ronald Reagan, and how this movie would portray his legacy, his image, his years as a President etc… etc.. etc..  They saw it as being aimed to discredit Regan, and refused to allow the movie to air without a fight.  And fight they did.

When you think of the Queen of England and how they hold her is such high regard and her position as Queen, they would never allow any sit-com to be made about the Royal Family where they would be the brunt of jokes… and made to look incompetent.  This is also the why they used to think in this country concerning the White House and the Presidency until…

Well…  until the Obama’s moved into the White House.

I am very proud of the First Family, the Obama’s.  Compared to the vast majority of the Presidents who have occupied the White House they are truly a family to be put up as a national example of what a good family is supposed to not only look like, act like or be like… but is.  The President, Barack Obama, and his wife, Michelle Obama, are more than just great parents they are exceedingly good role models for those looking to marry.  They exemplify what 1 should seek in his or her future marriage with regard to their husband or wife.  And how to ensure that your marriage works.

So, yes I find any show, play, television program or anything else designed to make a mockery of them totally distasteful and highly offensive… and clearly an attempt to be a slap in the face of President Barack Obama and his family.   It is beyond me if they really wanted a laugh how no one thought to come up with a sit-com on the Bush’s… wouldn’t have had to look far for material to laugh about there.

Hopefully, that show will get cancelled… and it never should have been allowed in the first place.  What an insult to all of us.

Now, going back to Paula Deen and her story.  Yes, she definitely deserved to get the boot off the Food Network.  I would venture to say if ever there was a word she wished she had probably never learned… it was the ‘N’ word.  It cost her greatly… and rightly so.

The Pavilion Book Expo… THE BISHOP’S WIFE…

Pull all these book promos because I liked them… and at the time I was trying to decide just how to go about producing 1 myself.  I am 1 of those people who likes to look and see what everybody else is doing… then decide upon how I’m going to do it.

When it came to creating the cover for my book, THE BISHOP’S WIFE, I went to Barnes&Nobles and walked around just looking at the book covers trying to decide which grabbed my attention the most and why?  Then I went home and began creating…

For the past 2 or 3 years I have been contacted by the America Book Expo about taking part in their event.  It is costly but a fellow author-girl, forgot her name… but she has several books out and a great website…forgot that too… but it is her name  Tracie something or other .com… I think.   Well, she told me that she is there every year passing out her books.  She says you really go there to sell… but to make contacts.  Plus the libraries attend purchasing books for their shelves.  Maybe next year who knows… I would really love to do it.

Right now THE BISHOP’S WIFE may not be a best seller but my sells are picking up.  I do receive royalty checks.  And I have sold a lot of books over this site… which is why I first started writing a blog in the first place.

So, I guess my efforts paid off.  Then I kind of liked writing on this site… it gives me an outlet to express my opinions, thoughts… and feelings on various topics and issues as they pop up.  And I kind of lot having my say and not having anybody to tell me I can’t.

I get asked often about promotions and self-publishing.  One thing I can tell you for sure and that is that there are a lot of free avenues for you to exhaust before you start thinking about shelling out that big dough to all those different publishing companies who make you a lot of empty promises.  Social media is free exploit it… it can get you out there, and that is exactly what you need… to get out there.  And there are a lot of ways you can do it… and it can work for you if you are smart, aggressive and diligent.

And yes, writing a book is very much like going into business.  You have to push it…  A business can’t run by itself… and neither can your book.  It goes way beyond just having a few pages printed up.

Talk about not getting around to POST… when I finally came back to this blog it was I don’t know how long.  Now, after that it has been several weeks more  …had to add the tags and things.  And finally today here it goes…after a bomber or more…struck at the Boston Marathon today just as the runners started crossing the finish line.

I almost wrote… I’m just shaking my head… but it takes more than that if we ever expect to get a handle on this.  And it goes beyond insanity to some type of morbid inner nothingness that these people have who go out and do these type of things.

Well, nevertheless…. here is another Post that I just never got around to publishing for one reason or other.  After briefly reading through it I thought that I might share it with you…it seems that I felt like sharing some more of myself in it to you… wonder why?

I rarely like telling much about myself… though I must say that you really cannot tell it by reading many of my blogs.  But for the record… I cannot remember at all when I wrote this but it was a while back… so today I am feeling great and the day is sunny and beautiful.

Now, here is that blog which I failed to published some time ago…

Not feeling well today… but I am not complaining.  Because I have had many more days when I didn’t feel bad at all.  And not many people can say that.

I am just a touch under the weather.  And because I am not accustom to being sick… it tends to bother me a little more than most people.

The other thing is… I do not take medication.  Not at all.   Well… almost not at all.  There have been times when I had to breakdown and swallow something… or go in and have them give me a shot or something… but not often.  And believe me when I say… I have to be in an awful lot of  pain and/or discomfort for me to do it.

Otherwise, I just suffer whatever it is that is bothering me… until it goes away.  Not many people can do that… or attempt to do that.  Since so many people rush to go grab up a bottle of this or that at the slightest on-set of something they think may be bothering them… they never even try to fight off anything.

But this is just a little slight cold.  A sliver of dust must have gotten into my system while I was helping my brother move some furniture that he chose to move from my parent’s house into his new apartment.  And since I am allergic to house dust… and it didn’t take much before I started itching then a tickle came into my throat.  But as soon as the dust gets out of my system I will be up and about again.

But this past weekend I had a chance to catch the Soul Train Music Awards.  Needless to say… I did not know most of  acts or  the awardees.  But, of course, I did recognize Anita Baker and Ron Isley as they paid tribute to them.

But I waited around watching because I had never seen Eryka Badu perform before… and boy…oh, boy…  What a disheartening show it really was.

For one thing how can anyone who portrayed herself as being so Afro-centric ever have lighten their skin?

Well, that is exactly what Eryka Badu has done… or so it appeared to be the case to me.  And she looked terrible.  At first I didn’t even notice it… because it was kind of subtle and her face was camouflaged by the hat she was wearing.  It cast a shadow over her face.

We have all read about black women in Africa and the West Indies doing it… but to see that Eryka Badu has stooped to bleaching????

It is insane.  If anything I have always wanted to be darker… but lighter no.  A cousin of mine slipped and started calling me ‘light’ and I totally disliked it.  She was trying to anger me.  And she did the moment she let that slip out of mouth.

Needless to say, Eryka has always been a bit wired and out there.  She likes doing things to grab attention… I guess you could say.   I remember when she first came onto the music scene… everybody thought that the very long dredlocks she was sporting then were her own.  But low-and-behold… over a period of  time we all came to find out that it had been a wig or more than likely dred extensions.   After that I think she went to having no hair at all.

But seeing Erykah Badu with lighter skin… was discussing to me.  Talking about a mindless woman… who evidently hates herself.  I wouldn’t want attention that bad.  And whatever song that was… that she song on the Soul Train Music Awards… if  it was intended to catapult  the re-emergence of  her  singing career?

I think not.  For all it was worth she could have stayed home.  But I must say that I did love the hat… and that was about all I liked about this whole supposed Soul Train Music Awards.

For the most part most of  the music on the Soul Train Music Awards show really wasn’t even ‘soul music’ any more.   But a bunch of that ‘neo-soul’  junk.

So, in watching the Soul Train Music Awards… I began to feel that we are loosing our identity…our musical identity and authenticity.   An identity and authenticity which has marked and ruled… in my opinion the whole music world in this country since we came to these shores as slaves brought to America.  And my did we bring something with us.

Some of the best and most authentic music America has ever had  really came out of a revised culture whose roots were founded in slavery.  Much like the food we developed here called ‘Soul Food.’  Hence, Soul Music… the Blues… Doo-Wop… Gospel Music… Rhythm & Blues  etc… etc.. etc…

In watching the Soul Train Music Awards show I felt that soul music had been replaced by a bunch of  people who neither wrote lyrics  or  played real instruments.  People who only looked black, but were trying very hard to appear as weird and way-out as they possibly could be.   This because it would seem that everything today concerning music is about branding and images… and far less than about true talent… real vocal skills or any skills as far as being a musician or a real song writer.  What happened to artists with the talent of a Little Stevie Wonder or a Prince?

Based upon what I had seen those type of talents had faded far far far away.

None of  them… this group or now generation singers seemed to want to have any connection to the music that put Motown on the charts, or  Philly on the map… or  Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, New York,  and LA.  Or that had made other urban places  hubs for the rich urban soul sound and melodic tones that had come to be called ‘soul music’  or  ‘rhythm & blues”  …or even “gospel.”

While watching the Soul Train Music Awards… there were no Anita Bakers or Ron Isleys awaiting in the crowd to hear their names called for award.  In fact, the only soulful talenst on the show was Anita Baker, Ron Isley, Pebo Bryson, Chante Moore, Rochelle Ferrell, Jeffery Osborne and a few others.  But clearly the ‘soul‘  that had been in the history of  Soul Train is now gone.

Everybody wants to be a cross-over artist… some neutral detergent that appears to be black or African American but actually doing some white thang.

The whole time I sat watching the Soul Train Music Awards… which is something I have not watched in years… or any other music or movie  awards show in years.   As I had long ago felt that they had been watered down to appeal to more less urban audiences.

But it was frightening for me to see  such a lost of what seemed to me to be a vast depreciation of  what has always been ours… our real musical genius and talenst… gifted voices and fantastic lyric writing… such as that of  Barry White and Issac Hayes… Holland,-Dozier-Holland, Ashford & Simpson, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield… etc…etc… all to be turned into something which sounded a lot more like that puff of glitter disco music and digitized junk.  And I must say that I see the exact same thing  happening to gospel music.

In gospel music there has developed a vast desire to be played on something ‘called‘ Christian Radio stations…  which in my opinion is nothing but a bunch of  rock music  stations playing rock music and calling it ‘Christian Music.’

It would be a shame to loose the richness of  our music… and the history that our music carries with it to the junk I bared witnessed to on the Soul Train Music Awards.  Outside of the tributes to some real Soul legends… there was nothing on that show I would have voted to give 1 award to.

One day we will look up and no one will know what ‘soul music’  was or that it had ever been.  They will not know that there had been such groups like Blue Magic, the Dramatics, Delfonics, Temptations, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, the Manhattans, Teddy Pendergrass, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Chi-Lites, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Phyllis Hyman, Najee, Kirk Walham, the Sylvers, Michael Jackson, the Jackson 5, the Sugar Hill Gang and the list goes on and on and on…  And those are just those from my era there tons more before them.

Who can forget when James Brown first cried-

“Say it loud I’m black and I’m proud.”

Or, “Baby, please don’t go.”

Or when Curtis Mayfield song these words-

“If  I had a choice of  colors.”

Or Nina came with-

“To be young gifted and black.”

Maybe there is no need for such lyrics like these today anymore.  But that can’t true… particularly after what I just said about Eryka Badu and skin bleaching.   But then how about-

“La-la-la means I love you… I love you.”

What about –

“They’re smiling in your face…all the while they want to take your place.”

Will soul music die like jazz has died?

There are no more jazz artists like Max… Coltrane …  Gillipsie…  or Yusuf LaTiff… or Miles …. any more.

Or how about a Junior Parker…  or another B.B. King…  or Muddy Waters…  or Bo Diddley and their special blend?

Now, I must admit that these days I am strictly into gospel music… but having a history in the radio industry it is hard for me to not realize the importance of preserving this cultural history.  It is ours… and our children need to be recipients of at least knowing of that it once was.  We cannot just forsake everything.

These musical forms and artists are long gone…  Well, more or less off the musical scene… the ones I just mentioned above.  And soon along with their names will the memories of Blue Magic, Phyllis Hyman, the Dells, Temptations, Supremes, the Staple Singers and everybody else either before them or who came after them like Chak Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, Emotions etc. be forgotten too.  To be replaced by a bunch of  people who have forsaken moving bass beats for  neo- tinty sounds that have nothing soul about them.  Music you can hop and jump up and down to… like we used to watch those young white kids do on those afternoon after school dance shows like the Dick Clark Show.   But they can’t really dance to.  And I guess that is really the point… its not meant to be danced to… but just to make some money.

Forget art…   What does art have to do with it?

No wonder the Soul Train Musical Awards show didn’t resemble anything like their old award shows… or for that matter… didn’t come close to emitting anything I would have called ‘soul’… outside of having a tribute to a few past ‘soul’ artists.  What a real shame…a legacy gone to naught…

I hate to say it… but little wonder Don Cornelius took a gun…  When you sell off something your control of it goes too…  Truly the history of Soul Train will never be the same…

Well, God bless… it’s Monday and I have been relaxing most of my day.  Then I started getting calls about an explosion in Boston.

After the stabbings on a Texas Campus last week… and now these explosions in Boston during the Boston Marathon… coupled with the guy shooting up the movie theater and that boy killing all those children plus his mother, in a Connecticut classroom…  Can you really say that we are not living in divers times?

I can’t imagine anybody saying that since they were 9 years old they had had fantasies about stabbing people.   FANTASIES ABOUT STABBING PEOPLE?

When I called my son to tell him about the explosions at the Boston Marathon today, he said to me-
