DONALD… DONALD….

I got sick of him long ago.   So, this blog won’t be very long don’t worry.

Tonight is the first Presidential Debate and everyone is talking about ‘which Donald Trump do you think will show up?’

Oh, I have no doubt which Donald Trump will show up… because I know it will be the Donald Trump that needs to show up.  Plain and simple.

Either the man is a total idiot … or a very masterful genius.   And I am beginning to believe he is both.  But I think it has come about by happenstance.  Or maybe I’m just listening to those talking heads too much on television to be able to tell the difference.  Because they all seem to be confused too by this whole political mess we have this presidential election period.

Lets face it, at his very best we have all come to realize that the man is definitely not smart.  He’s not even a good business man.   His history as a businessman speaks volumes to that point… in that every … and I do mean ‘every company the man, himself, has started has failed.’

The only business which has somehow managed to survive the raging waters of a fidgety Donald Trump, who apparently likes leaping into business trends he knows nothing about… the first sign of someone who knows nothing about business.   Because when you leap into venues … business or otherwise that you have no real working knowledge of … they will inevitably fail.

This is a well known and highly proven fact… which has been the undermining of many goodhearted and people believing they could ‘make it too’… because some new money making business trend was happening in the marketplace.   But the thing they had failed to factor in was… they had no expertise or real working knowledge in what it would take in terms of capital, outside already pre-established relationships with other sub-contractors, suppliers, material manufacturers, overhead expenditures etc. that it would take to make it.   And maybe like the restaurant business… that it would a few years to first establish their business and clientele before their began to make any real money or even show any level of a profit.

The only business that Donald Trump has managed to not sink is his father’s real estate business.   There must be some type of major reason for that… like some type of clause or ryder on dear ole dad’s will that put a board or some other force over ‘the Donald’ from having run that company into the ground too.

I thought that the President had to be men… or women… above reproach.   People who exhibited some level of having at lease a grain of honor…  a speckle of common sense… or some moral character above the average man or woman… people of GREAT dignity…  someone who possessed a HUGE AMOUNT of integrity.

How did this election fall so short?

Sure we may not all be happy about either or… but Hillary sure does beat Donald Trump any day… any year… any month… and any election.

Donald is so crazy… I am not even sure that the man is truly American himself.   Seriously.

He is so in love with Putin and dictatorships… and lets face it all
of his wives have not truly been American… including this last 1… who on top of it all … she can barely speak English.   A strip-tee artist???

She is the classical example of someone who has sold her soul to the devil.   And this would be come the First Lady of the United States?

And Donald Trump claims that America is disrespected now under Obama???

He would be the laughing stock of the world… and First Lady of every other country would find it hard just trying to hide all their smiles… behind such whoredom.    And if Donald Trump is marrying high… where is the ‘new low’ in America today?
Because this man is the pits.

I just hope all those people that he has robbed and all the sub-contractors that he dupped out of their contracts… got the job done and/or the materials … but never paid…  I truly hope that somehow
they all get their day in court … and see this man in jail where he belongs… and definitely not in the White House … not even on a visit.
What a shock that would be to the Donald… to be dragged off in the middle of the night by Russian guards laughing at his stupidity….

 

Oh, well…  So much for this because truthfully speaking the man has received too much media attention.   If anyone needed a total blackout it would be the Donald.   And that is all I am going to say on him… except how foolish and ignorant the sellout black folk who have rallied around him are.  And I mean a bunch of ignoramus if ever there any.

If it were left up to them we would all be back on master’s plantation… unable to read… picking cotton… and being sold upon auction blocks… just as they are currently being bought.  They have no clue that it takes a bunch of dummies to want to run behind a dummy, like Donald Trump… and proclaim him to be the god and savior of black folk… whom history has

proven he hates and thinks very lowly ofNot only are they confused… and lack understanding… who told them that they were smarter than you and me.  When we obviously can see way pass all the games that Donald Trump thinks he can play on folk.

I just thank God that all of us are not stupid… and just won’t fall for everyone and everything… for real.

One final note on Trump… how can anyone ever hope to ‘make America great’ …who never even believed in the trademark …‘made in America?’

Well, UPDATE:   TUESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2017…  Well, the guy won.   And he is going stark raving mad.  It has become quite clear to many that this man may truly not be dealing with a full stack of cards… and cards they would truly be.

What we thought was funny… now does not appear so.   In 8 days he has managed to cause so much havoc that there is lots of talk about the 25th Amendment an act which allows the president of the United States to be removed for disabilities… and/or impeachment.

There has been demonstration after demonstration against him.   And for a man who likes numbers… and is quick to say how he got the longest and loudest applause ‘ever’… it has got to be eating him up.

THE BIGGEST BLUNDER OF ALL TIMES… DONALD CHUMP…

Well, it didn’t really take long for the fool known as Donald Trump to really become more outrageous and ridiculous… and an absolute buffoon and idiot… even more so than before the Republican Party gave him the nod to legitimately be their nominee as President of the United of States.  Truly a very sad day in American politics… but perhaps even sadder for the Republican Party itself.

The man, to say the least, is crazy.

Being mad at a system is no reason to throw it away.   If that were the case we would have overthrown every government we have ever had in this country to begin another …and another one since this country came to be.

What I am saying is many people claim to be upset with government.   They claim to be upset with politics as usual.  They say that they want people outside of the curve… non-politicians… people just like them.

Yeah, right?

Then why would anyone have voted for Donald Trump then in the first place?    Because certainly no one can say… or should want to say… ‘he is just like me.’

Donald Trump is an exclusive ‘one of a kind’ con man… and he evidently learned from the best… mobsters probably.

He is no great business man.  He is nobody with any great flair for business or personal success.  Everything he has touched went south… out of business… failed and/or was bankrupt.    Except for the company his father left him.   And evidently there must have been some type of clause in that will which stipulated that the Donald could only be allowed… note the word ‘allowed’ to do but so much within his father’s business.  Otherwise, that too would have probably by now gone to the dogs.

What great businessman do you know who has tried his hand at a myriad of various companies …and ALL OF THEM failed?

The man is a disaster.   A one man wrecking crew.   A clown in the king’s clothes that no one could see… but were afraid to tell him that he was naked.

It is quite evident to me that Donald Trump has some stories that he could tell.   He must have a WHOLE LOT over a WHOLE LOT of people… with some degree of power or status.   And that is why many were fearful of attacking him or ever coming out against him… and he, though I think he is stupid, was shrew enough to release that Congressman’s personal phone number just to let all of the others know he was capable and not above doing the exact same thing, as the Manhattan Madame had done, spill the beans on so many people that they all just kept their mouths shut… and are still keeping their mouths shut because they all fear whatever secrets the Donald has on them.

There can be no other reason has to how or why this man got this far.  And, yes… President Obama is absolutely correct in having said that the man is unfit to be President of the United States of America.  Because Donald Trump is unfit.  He knows nothing about politics… the affairs of the world… nor does he know when or how to acknowledge just how little he truly knows… because he is dangerous.   He believes he knows everything… and that is a very dangerous person.

For those foolish people who thought that during the Republican Convention they could undo what they had done during the Republican Primaries… when they overwhelmingly voted for ‘the Chump’…  thinking they were sending some sort of message or that this thing was a joke.   Well, they found out differently… and now the Republican Party is stuck with the single most disastrous Presidential candidate in history.

Truly this whole election will be 1 for the history books for a long time… and it won’t be because the first woman will be elected as President of the United States …but because of a phenomena called Donald Trump… who himself never thought he truly stood a chance… but some kind of stupid thinking on the part of many many many people got him to where he is today.   And look what happened… the joker came out on top and never paid 1 dime in advertisement for not 1 political ad… but was seen night and day… 24 hours because evidently somebody was afraid not to give him access like that… msnbc… cnn… abc…cbs… etc…etc…etc… and all those other networks that gave the Donald a free ride.

The prankster played and won.   Well, maybe not.   I doubt seriously that Trump… or Chump makes it into the White House even as a guest… much less as President.

And I must say…  the man is attempting to put the first immigrant woman into the White House as our First Lady… and the woman can’t even speak English.

And though Trump’s wife initially claimed that she alone had

written her speech she gave at the Republican Convention, in Cleveland a few weeks ago… then did a 360 degree turn when it was discovered that the speech had, in fact, been First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech some 8 years ago when speaking about her husband, Barack Obama.   It only leads you to believe that even Melania Trump has nothing good to say about Donald Trump either… which is why she had to steal … or attempted to steal the words of Michelle Obama.

I ask you, ‘Is there no integrity among these people?”

What happened to looking for real character and morals… and this thing everyone used to ‘really looked for’ called ‘integrity’ in our leaders, corporation heads… diplomats… teachers… coaches etc…. and even in our Presidents?

Did not anyone but me notice that Trump’s wife looked absolutely terrified mid-way through her speech?

It appeared to me that she was under such great pressure not from the public… but from the Donald… she was tight and points looked to me as if she were going to cry.   I seemed to me that if she did not do it right he was going to beat her later.  She truly had that kind of look upon her face and within her body language.   Her fear was greater than having to be before TV cameras and a bunch of people in a room.   And the type of man Donald Trump is … I have no doubt beating his wives is not off the table for him.

Mister ‘I’m so smart’… has to be the dumbest man on the planet.   And anyone who cast a vote for him was even dumber.  And the ‘I’m so sorry I did it’ numbers are climbing.

I guess I should take a page out of Trump’s 4th wife’s book… ‘If you have nothing good to say … then STEAL IT.’

And talking about 4th wife… no one even mentions that almost all of his children are half sisters and brothers… and some of their mother’s were pregnant before the Donald got around to marrying them.  Or do people only mention those sort of things when they are only talking about black or Hispanic people?

Or that was that incident where at least 2 of them pregnant while the Donald was still married to another Mrs. Trump.  You can ask Vanna Trump about that…  I’m sure she can better speak on that matter better than me.

And I can’t understand any so-called pastor… black pastor or other wanna be black leader would be endorsing such a man as the Chump.

Oh, well now that I have had my say on the Chump who think of himself as ‘Donald Almighty’ … I’m ready to do some real work now.  Hope you are doing well and that all is well with you.

DONALD TRUMP… TAKING NO HOSTAGES…

It does indeed amaze me that 1 Donald A. Trump… or whatever his middle initial is… has managed to play the American public for as long as he has.  The man has been doing nothing but consuming the entire American media…for free.

Free television and radio…talk shows of all kinds… everything media including newspapers and magazine covers and articles… since he began his crazy journey… and all for free since his so-called bid to run for President of the United States. It has been reported that the amount of FREE media time given to the Donald amounts to above 1 billion dollars. All to a man who claim he’s ‘so rich.’ He’s ‘so smart’… he’s such ‘a great businessman’ etc…etc…etc…

Trump is the lowest of low.   He is a down right out and out scoundrel.  His whole persona and image is a massive illusion.   Certainly he is a man who must have learned from the best career criminal just how to cheat his way to success… and lie all way while getting there.   What a con job.

He is no successful business man.  If the truth be told he is not even a mediocre business man.  He is a con man pure and simple.

Let’s face it not many people can run to friends or family and have them continue to finance our failures… but somehow this has been what Donald Trump has managed to do.

Who in their right mind as any ‘displaced U. S. worker’ would want to vote for him, a man who has businesses and does all his business abroad using foreign labor.   The man uses cheap out of this country labor  with regard to products the Donald has had produced with his name on it… such as his neckties… and whatever else.    The man sends jobs abroad… but he says he’s going to be the man to bring jobs back to America.  Is this some kind of double talk?

What is so hard to believe about the fact that an offender promises to stop others from doing what he does… when and if he were to become President.     Then if not… the man would continue to do as he is doing.   The man even confesses it.   And he blames the American system for ‘forcing him to do it.’     If only we all could blame the American government for enriching us financially.

You have got to be kidding me…. and he is raking up votes from people who actually believe his rhetoric …. and even for some ungodly reason… they even believe in him.   The man who is insane… his insane double talking  and side-ways talking while everybody else ‘but’ himself a liar.

We might at the end of the day have to all call the man a genius.   Or is it called… we’er all being played?

Everybody now is really staring to listen him…  and they are falling for him and everything he is saying … all being sucked in to Trump mania… even down to media people  now who at first thought of him as a joke.   Which when you get right down to it… Trump is.   But for some reason now all seem to be overtaken by him and open to the Trump mystique.

What is it that they don’t believe?

What is so hard to accept when it comes to Donald Trump?

That he is a racist?

That he’s a bigot and fascist?

Truthfully speaking … he must be the anti-Christ.   Who else could such a man be?

it is as though he has ‘666’ etched in his forehead in invisible ink.   Nothing he can say will turn those who love him against him.

This is not some all awing magnificent force but some type of witchcraft that has befallen us… a type of mass hysteria that has swept America.  And it is not just overtaking everyday people but people in chief positions… shot callers…. dice rollers and every other wayward sort in the Republican Party or would be Republican during this election for the sake of voting for Trump .

The man has now proclaimed that if he does not get the Republican nod as their candidate to run for the Presidency in Cleveland… the Republican National Convention… that there will be riots.   Having made that statement alone should have been enough grounds to have had the man pick up for threatening to incite a riot during the Republican convention.   Because Trump sitting on national tv making that kind of announcement was code language to those who would do his bidding… such as members the Klue Klux Klan and every other racist in America..  if the Republican Party fails to do as Trump has commanded.   And the outcome following Trump’s riot announcement has the Republican Party scramming …running scared and now everybody wants to meet with him.

The guy has not had to spend 1 dime on advertisement because every time he opens his mouth the tv cameras were there.   He has been eating up our airwaves for free since he got into the race to the White House.    Every talk show… every news channel … it has all been Trump… everyday and all day long.    It is like we are all being hypnotized.

The man nor his wife… Donald nor what’s her name …. neither of  them should be let into the White House even for a visit.   It is like letting trash in.   And this may sound mean or even hateful… but who could be or get any meaner or hateful than the man himself?

Donald Trump.   The man espouses nothing but hate… conflict… and deceit.

Who took those nasty disgraceful pictures of his wife?

Well, she wasn’t his wife at the time… but he thought nothing about having them taken pictures of her dis-robed.  And they were shot on his airplane.

The man has neither class or anything that would give him a plus.   He is a rich guy… maybe.   But whoever said money could give anybody any class… smarts… or the ability to become the President of the United States.

Clearly, this world would be in a world of trouble if someone like the
Donald ever became the most powerful man in the world… the President of the United States of America.

Well, God bless… this is it for today.   I guess I am now getting back into my stride.  It has taken me a while or maybe I was just waiting on the right climate for me to begin writing again on my blog.   Don’t know what it was.   But I’m back… at least for now.

Rooting out a scandal…ACORN under investigation… Raccoon problem2…

Who in the world is ACORN?

Well,  first of  all  ACORN is an acronym which stands for  the Association of  Community Organizations for Reform Now.  Hence…Acorn.   It is an organization which advocates for poor people.

But what I did not understand was…

What was all the secrecy about some supposed cover-up scadal?

And why were certain news organization declaring-

“An Acorn cover-up.”

And who was covering up what?

And for what reason?

I had read some of this article below…and began wondering why…what scandal…and why was some organization named ‘Acorn’…in danger of of losing its funding?

So, of  course, I had to put on my old Sherlock Holmes hat and begin sniffing about.

To answer my first question….who was Acorn?

During the 2008 Presidential Election a community based organization whose home head-quarters  in New Orleans, LA…Acorn came into the spotlight as Republicans began to cry foul…if you can imagine that.   It is kind of like the pot calling the kettle ‘black’…if you get my drift. 

Well, they called ‘foul’ because Acorn…which had opened up numerous offices around the United States…began organizing and registering voters on Obama’s behalf.

Following the Primaries the Republicans started accusing Acorn at that time of using false and fraudulent tactics as alleging that Acorn was registering dead people…etc..etc.  And primarily these charges stemmed from actions in Florida.   

Because Florida and Michigan chose to break a rule set up the Democratic Committee that no state should hold a primary before a specific date…which both the State of Florida and Michigan ignored.  So,  they therefore lost the right to participate in the Democratic Primary Presidential Election…the race between Obama and Hillary Clinton.

But within states around the country a group emerged called Acorn which began organizing the urban communities…gearing them up for the final showdown.  The day in which Americans would entered into their ballot booths to cast their votes for who would become the  President of  this country for the next 4 years…of which Barack Obama won solidly over Bush.

Part 2 of  my question…about  Acorn and the questions surrounding its organization…and their current problems.

But it was during  the days leading up the ballot day that a little known organization called Acorn began popping up in the news, as the Republicans began slinging shots…and trying to throw whatever punches they could at the Obama campagin.

This controversy about Acorn has been brewing for quite some time now.   And of course, with Obama sweeping Nevanda, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Ohio, Virgina…and Florida…  could the contention and rage over his win get any greater?

The Republicans have only been trying to discredit Obama in any matter and way they can…as proven by Joe Wilson’s rude outburst, which I wrote about in blog on civility.  From trying to cliam that Obama is not legally an American citizen…to trying to disregard Hawai as being an offical state of this country (being the birthplace of  Obama)…to trying to rig and provide false papers which they claim to be Obama’s African birth certificate.  What they call…‘his real birth certificate.’

For years in this country black folks birth certificates have been messed with.  From writing down things properly…to not properly recording them…to not properly keep up with our records.  My birth name was messed up so bad…that my parents had to legally amend my birth certicate with a change of name shortly after my birth.  Not to mention that my grand-mother went to her grave not knowing her correct birth date…as is the case with our Aunt Kate, who is still very much alive today.   I suspect that if  she were to seek public office in this country…she would have a real problem.  Even though she was unquestionably born and raised here in America.  But racist practices in properly documenting black folk in the existed then…and still do.

And such allegation concerning the legitimacy of  Obama to President of this country…comes  from a group of people who out and out stole the 2004 Presidential Election right out from under Al Gore, the Democratic opponent of  George W. Bush.  And it had been done illegally… bogusly… and without fear of  any pentalty.   They just did it…didn’t care who saw…who knew…or who didn’t know.  And all of  America knew…it was not hard to miss. 

It had been the most outragous campaign of  all times…and of  any country.  Which is  why George W. Bush will certainly go down in history as a big fat question mark…for having been the most illegitimate President that the United States of  America has ever had.

And what a joke that election was.  What a farce.   And for the first time in American History…as we know it…an illegitimate cadidate took possession of  this country’s White House and made a mockery of  our entire political system…and country. 

And not only that…but sunk this country into the lowest levels of  political integrity…moral standing…and financial lossess…coupled by a fraudulent war which he conjured up.  A  war which
has cost this country vast resources, lives…and a waste of our political time and efforts.  A war that unleashed centuries of stored up hatred and antimosities…religious strife…and massive unrest in the Middle East.

During the 2004 it was widely known that the Republicans rigged the election…and hindered people in urbans from casting their votes.   They had various voting locations declare some legitimate voters as being dead…and others as ex-convicts in order to stop them from voting…as well as, other such tricks.   Such as, having voters stand for prolong periods of time out in the rain…provided urban areas with broken ballot machines…had women leave their pocketbooks outside…slowed up the balloting process that long lines gathered etc…  All to deter voters for the Democratic Party.  Not to mention the rigging of  ballots…mis-counting of  ballots…loosing and all those other in-side jobs which they easily arranged.   …hinged ballots…

 And this country sends people out to monitor the balloting procedures of  other countries?

Going back to Acorn…having been under the fire  for some time now…evidently their efforts were effective.  The did manage to register some 1.3 million new voters.   All the more reason why the other party would want to do away with them.

It kind of reminds me of when this country decided un the stern and ambiguous eye of the then House Leader, Newt Gingrich…who felt that  the National Endowment of the Arts grants were to liberal in their giving out of funds.  So, he moved to act upon limiting those funds from being given out to individuals…but to people like himself…and organization etc.  Today, you hardly hear much about those funds…though they still are given out but in a very different way and under far different circumstances.

Today, when you hear this guy talk…he sounds more like a summer breeze…as opposed to that typhoon he used to be.  I suspect that being taken down a notch or 2 can do that to you.

Now, definitely going back to Acorn.

It seems that some videographer enter into a couple of their offices for some reason or other.  This videographer along with a women…that he or she brought with them.  Supposedly, during these meetings the videograper was given by a worker…or workers at the organization (Acorn office)…to become not-for-profit and open up their own brothel…or in other words whore house…prostitution den.

Which if it is true…it would not reflect back on Obama…as he is not really tied to that organization other than it assisted in getting out the vote…which many other people also did too…and I was one of  them.

However, in any office…supposed office…or business…or supposed busines you are subject to fall upon some type of illegal activity.   Which does not necessarily mean that those in management or corporate heads know anything about.   You can, in fact, find out about how to do all kinds of  things while sitting in your workplace…including how to cheat on your husband or wife.  There are crooket…and bad people everywhere.  And they usually know right where to go…to run whatever game they are trying to run.

Recently, in my town they closed down a couple of used car dealerships…neither of  which I believe had anything to do Obama…or his being elected President.  But one was closed for selling drugs and using the dealership as front.  And the other…I guess you could say they were in the money laundrying business…using their used cars to thash cash.

I suspect that if  the Republicans could tie Obama to either of them…they would.  And heavens forbide if   somehow they could make a connect to both of  them…and Obama.

I hope Obama didn’t happen to buy a car at either of  those 2 dealerships.  You know…like he bought his house.  That was tied to some other alleged criminal.

Part of the problem is…is that the Republicans will not stop at  nothing to get their candidates in.   Nothing to taboo for them.   They play a political anything goes game in  order to win.   They cross state lines…double and triple voting wherever  they can.  During the primaries they sign up as Indedpendants seek ing  to swing elections towards cadidates that are weak and more favorable to them…in order to fix elections by giving their real cadidate of  choice  (a Republican) in the overall election a upper hand.  

I have no doubt..that they have and continue to  put people into place to do their will.  People who operate as fake agents …or workers  (if you will)…pertending to the opposite side.   When in fact…they were plants (Republican plants)… who went under-cover…crossed over to the other side…to do fraudulent work…create false documents…and to put bogus names  onto  lists. 

Hence, the real scandal…and the real cover-up.

Then the Republicans come around as they always do…wanting to look innocent…and appearing to be  the squeaky clean whistle blowers.  Crying ‘foul’…‘foul.’     When in fact…it is them who are the foul ones.

It is interest the way that the Republicans  always seemed to know exactly what the problems are…and where they lay. 

Why?

Because they put  certain people into place to purposely cause the problems and issues…which they later turn around and begin pointing out as being fraudulent.   These type of  games are old…and go way back  in  history…where many of  these  very schemes were first hatched…by other other political crooks.

It is such a shame that such a group operates in this country…who are clearly anti-American when they indulge in such under-handed  behavior…and deceitful practices.

Recently, Acorn  has requested an independant investigation into the actions of some of their employees.   The Senate to block  the Housing and Urban Development from giving grants to Acorn, along with the U.S. Census Bureau had dropped Acorn and its involvement in the 2010 national census.  And of course under these last allegation of  being a training ground for how to own and operate your own brothel…the White House has been forced to also move away from Acorn.

I barely got any sleep last night.

Well, for one thing…I love my hair style so much that I am refusing to mess it up.  Which means I have been trying to stay on my elbows since Saturday when I initially got the hair style.

And then the other reason is…is…

Well, those raccoons are back.   Not that they ever left…as I have yet to have the money to seal up the roof.  So, they are living in our attic.

But last night after getting in I stepped back out on the porch…and that is when I heard a noise.   I thought it was pesty neighborhood cat…which sometimes sits upon our porch waiting on my neice’s cat to come out.

So, I picked up the water hose and sprayed some water over in the direction of the noice.  And saw the thing move…and that is when I happened to catch a glimsp at what appeared to be 2 white circles around it’s eyes.

Not certain I went back into the house and got my flash light.  I opened the screen-door and shot the light over into the far corner of  my parent’s porch and there it was.   Yes…a raccoon.

It seemed to be trying to hide.  And appeared to indecisive.

So, I tried to talk it out of  corner and off  the porch…while I quickly punched in a call to our local police station.  As I talked on my cell…the raccoon quietly left the porch.  It seemed timid…mayold…possibly frighten.  And I felt bad for her…or him…or whatever it was. 

But they have got to go.  The thing was huge…and I am not exegerating.  I was at least a foot and half  long…not including it’s big and long tail.   And it was about a foot high in width.

No, that has got to go.  No matter how bad I feel for it.  I just don’t want them hurt.  But I have got to get them out of  our house and away from our home.  I have far too many young neices and nephews.  And I would hate to see anything happen to any of   them because I sat around doing nothing about our raccoon problem.

So, today I walked around the outside of our house checking to see exactly where it is that they are entering into and out of our property.  It is via our roof.  Some rotting has taken place along various portions of  our roof.   And as I walked around examing our weather beaten root… I was calling upon the name of  Jesus. 

Because those raccoons have got to go.

One thing I can say though…my neice’s cat is no fool. 

The raccoon which had gotten into kitchen…when I initally realized we had a problem…she chased out that raccoon…and up the stairs back into the attic.  But this raccoon…was much bigger than her.   Though she did go out on the porch…she never approached that corner…and got low to the ground the whole time she was out there.  And my neices cat is usually no joke…she is a real killer.

She must have been able to tell that  that raccoon was  a big one.

But I am going to have a talk with that…because she can’t be punking out on me.

And after I laid down and thought about…since I could not fall asleep.  The thought came to me…that with all the hermones and everything else put into our food…it is little wonder that that raccoon was so big.  She and others like her wander around the neighborhoods at night searching for scrapes to feed upon. 

And if the chemical put into food…in order to make it grown bigger…get fatter…effects our bodies…and that of  our children the way that it does.  Then what about whatever else that feeds upon anything that we eat?

I can everything becoming super-sized.  And I am not kidding.  

You would have had to seen the size of  that raccoon. 

We all need to consider what it is that we are doing to this planet…our food…produce…water ways etc…   And these animals are also being impacted by our lack of  good judgement.

That thing was huge.  

Oh, I know that some people believe they can escape to another planet.  But I have always been told-

“That 1 bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.”

Just saw the below picture and just could not resist adding it.  It is so beautiful.  Put you in mind of  what we are in store for next…by way of weather.   I don’t know where you are…but it is cold here already.

True to his word…Let the Presidency begin..

Already getting started President Obama signed the order to close Guantanamo Bay, the high security prison housed on the shores of Cuba…where thousands of detainees had been stored and warehoused since post-9/11…not to mention where they had been tortured by the Bush Administration.

Obama also ordered a review of all the trials and then placed a banned upon the harsh methods of interrogation used to extract information from detainees within that prison.

The behavior of the Bush Administration concerning enemy combatants and those thought

 to be enemy combatants…or possessing information went against the Geneva Convention concerning the handling and treatment of detainees, combatants and non-combatants.  The time has long been overdue for Bush’s policies regarding such matters to change…and the standards lifted once again as to how America carries herself.

The problem, however, that arises with the closing of Guantanamo Bay is what to do with all those angry prisoners?

And, yes…I can see them being very angry…particularly those who may have been housed in that high security prison system for years now…who may have been innocent of any wrong doing.  But are now more than ready to blow America to smittereens due to what happened to them.  That is what a bunch of bad policies can do.  It creates long time and hardened hatred…and lasting enemies

Two semesters ago I had to pay a visit to the court house in regards to some family matters.  While before the judge…I was ordered to put my hands behind my back.  I could not imagine what was going on.

They were arresting me…and the charge was…  Well…  ‘Not serving Jury Duty.’

The only problem here was…was that I had served my jury duty.  Not only there but in New York a couple of years earlier. 

I protested before the court.  I called it an ‘outrage.’ 

I called it an ‘injustice.’

I proclaimed my innocence. 

But no one heard me.   In fact, they took my actions for a joke. 

I was outraged.  

I was enraged….I was mad…insulted…and had been made to be embarrassed. 

And I knew while I sat down in that cold jail cell after they un-handcuffed me and bent to remove the shackles…that that day was going to be revisited.  And I knew it beyond a shadow of a doubt.   Because yes…I had already made up in my mind that I was going to sue them.

So, I can understand the outrage and anger of people treated badly or unfairly…and those even treated in such as way…without due cause.  You don’t forget.

Well, Hillary Clinton is looking happier these days…and certainly more confident.  And there is little wonder.   Today she was sworn in as Secretary of State.   

Though Hillary was indeed truly a heated contender in her fight to the White House…it is evident that the President saw something in her.  Perhaps he admired her aggressiveness…or maybe her doggit determination.  I imagine that these type of qualities are much needed when dealing various world leaders and other big time politicans.  If so…then she certainly has all the right credentials.

…and in a vote of 18 to 5 of the Senate Finance Committee Timothy Geithner was approved as consideration as Treasury Secretary of the United States of America.  Now, his confirmation goes up for  a full Senate vote in order for him to take over that position.

Caroline Kennedy has withdrawn her name from consideration as the replacement for Hillary Clinton’s old Senate seat, as the Senator from New York.  Though the Governor of New York, David Patterson, had been toying with who his decision would fall upon…he has now allowed too much time to slip by.  What seems to me…should have been a fairly easy decision by way of choice…he now longer has. 

Having spent much of her younger years growing up on 5th Avenue in New York…I am sure that Caroline would have brought much to the State of New York.  Whatever the reason…it is New York’s great lost.  Too bad it was not seized upon earlier…it might have made a difference.

Boy, it is amazing that little Carline Kennedy is now 51 years old.   Seems only like yesterday when she and her brother, John, were the 2 little kids in the White House.

IBM set to lay off  800 employees.  

I bought an IBM computer a few years back…but haven’t seen any more of them around since.  So, I knew that IBM had folded her hand in the desktop business.  But who knows what IBM sells any more? 

UNIX…Servers…LINUX…Power Systems…massive digital storage systems… 

So, I guess IBM is still pretty much in the computer industry…and as they have pretty much have been in the past…more corporate use…and less commercial consumer use.  Maybe, IBM needs to get it’s feet back into the everyday consumer market again.

Blagojevich, Burris, Obama, Palin, Caroline, Tavis… and Jeb

Well, the US House of Representatives has made their voices known and they say-

“Impeachment.”

Rod Blagojevich threw away his life by making a foolish and highly selfish mistake…that will see him facing not only legal charges but impeachment removing him from his office as Governor of Illinois.  Though Blagojevich has vowed to fight…it is hard to believe that he will have any success since there is hard evidence and audio tapes of him seeking payoffs for his choice to fill the Obama Senate seat.

But the more I see and hear of Roland Burris…no matter how it happened…or the cloud hanging over his head…it seems he is going be a great civil servant for the people of Illinois.   He seems to be a highly humble man…and that really speaks volumes for anyone.   The people of Illinois should get behind him with all of their support.  It is perhaps because of the problems brought about by Blagojevich that caused him to finally chose Roland Burris in the first place.  

The Bible does say this-

“That He is working it out for your good.” 

I think Illinois may come to agree.

Regarding Al Franken vs Norm Coleman, the incumbent Senator of Minnesota.   Coleman not being happy at Franken finally being declared the winner of the Minnesota Senate seat has vowed to fight on.  All I can say is Minnesotians are funny people…after all they did elect that guy who used to be on WestleMania, Jesse the Ventura.

Wow, if these politicans fought as hard for the people they supposedly went into office to represent…they wouldn’t have to fight so hard to keep their seats.  Evidently the good people in Minnesota were not satisfied Coleman.  Now, who’s fault is that?

Atheist have gone to court to block Obama from saying at the end of the oath during the Presidential Inaugural…they are seeking to have removed-

“…so help me God.”

It is sad that such a group of people does exist in this world anywhere.  That they hate and have such a fear of God…so much so that they can’t even stand to hear the name ‘God’ or read it.   That these people look to band even the calling of His name from any and everything where it is publicly displayed or said.   Now, how sad is that?

I loved this story…how Marian Robinson, Michelle Obama’s mother, will be joining them in the White House.  It is a great story…what a family.   And they are not ashamed or embarrassed to care about one another…and for each other…no matter what it looks like or sounds like to to others.   I admire those Obama’s. 

With the schedule that they both will have who better should they leave their little daughters in the care of?  And I really do not blame them, neither Obama or his wife, for wanting to ensure that their children were left in the best possible and safest hands in the world…not to mention…loving and caring.

And at 71 this ex-secretary…and current track runner…is being solicited by all kinds of senior groups who are just as excited about her, her children and grand-children…as we all are.

And finally….

Oh, give me a break.  Sarah Palin needs to stop complaining. 

 The reason that Sarah Palin became such a big joke was really one of her own doing.  Nobody but Sarah Palin herself decided to go on Saturday Night Live.    Who would do that after the jokes they made of her?

And to get upset about something being said about her pregnant daughter…   Well…   She should have gotten mad at her daughter who did not think that her mother’s public position was a consideration when she decided to lay down and have unprotected sex…or sex at all…knowing what the outcome might be…and ultimately was.  She became pregnant.  And being a public family such things follow all those who are in the public eye.  It is unfortunate…but it goes with the territory.

And for Palin to say that she will be looking how Caroline Kennedy will be treated by the media as Caroline seeks to fill Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat in the State of New York.  

How strange of a statement was that?

The first thing that Palin should learn…is this.   It is how you walk and carry yourself that matters.  The   Kennedy’s…none of them have ever carried themselves as a joke.   But that is not anything that Palin can say about herself. 

I actually think that it is interesting, however, that after having gotten involved in the Obama campaign that Caroline somehow has gotten bitten by that thing which runs strong in the veins of all her family members…politics.  I think that in any capacity Caroline works in…she will be an inspiration to all…dedicated and diligent at the job.  Having lost so much so early in her young life due to politics…it is amazing at this time she is seeking to do it.  What a legacy she would bring to people of the State of New York.

Now, I’m going to go to the Tavis Smiley issue.  Everybody knows about the controversy prior to Obama becoming the President between Tavis and how Tavis felt about Obama.   I mean he was all over the radio and then he hit the TV circuit denouncing Obama.   All over Obama not being able to attend his annual conference.

When Obama due to his heavy schedule during the primary or election season of his campaign…Obama offered to send his wife, Michelle, to go to Tavis’ conference in his place…and Tavis said he didn’t want her. 

Can you imagine that Tavis said ‘no’ to Michelle Obama coming in place of her husband? 

Now, most people would have leaped at that.  But nooooo….not Tavis.  He was insulted.  He became angered.   He felt offended…that an affront had been made.   And he tried to make it seem that it was to black people…when it was in fact a Tavis Smiley ego issue.   And then he started bad mouthing Obama.  

Now, he is saying how…we need to help to make Obama a good president.

I find that humorous…and an utterly ridiculous statement…not to mention a slap in face to Obama.   Particularily from a man who preceives himself as having a stamp of ‘excellence’ himself.   “Good”…

The Bible says that you can judge a man by the thing that proceedeth out of his mouth.   It would seem like Jesse Jackson last year…Tavis Smiley still has plenty of problems getting over Obama not being a part of his conference.  And the things that proceedeth out of his mouth speak volumes as to who Tavis Smiley truly is.

Obama doesn’t need us ‘to help to make him a good president.’   He didn’t enter that race unequiped to handle the job…nor was he not able to run a great Presidential race…and probably the greatest Presidential race of all times…to get to where he intended on going.   And Obama is not going to be  just ‘a good president,’ Tavis.   

No, Obama will probably be the greatest president that this country has ever had.   And those capabilities were born in him…which his mother helped to nourtished within him…and his life experiences did the rest.  And he doesn’t need any help from us…you…or anyone else outside of God, his wife and family…and the team he has put in place around him…to be more than capable of handling his duties and responsibilities as President of the United States.  

‘Eyes have not seen…nor ears heard’ what works God has put in Obama’s heart for the benefit of this nation…and the world. 

And no…I do not believe that Obama is some super human…or a prophet.  That would be foolish of me.  But who knows…I don’t know…maybe he is.  But I do believe that God does rise up men…and women to do phenomenal works…even in ‘such a time as these.’ 

Grow up, Tavis.   You are not a child…everybody has schedule conflicts.  I am sure that it has even happened to you.

Jeb Bush for President?

Give me a break.  

America is not a monarchy.    We have no real dynasties here.  

The Presidency of this country is not a ‘rite of passage’ for any family. 

Something is seriously wrong with the Bush family if that is the only way those boys have of proving to their father that they love him.  And on top of that it was Jeb Bush in that set-up regime down in Florida…where he had been put strategically in place for the course of actions and events which took place during the 2000 Presidential Election in which his brother stole his way into the White House over Al Gore who should have legitimitely  become the President of the United States.

How in the world could that man run this country when he couldn’t even run his own home or oversee his own children.  And imagine being paid $474,500–for 13 days of work per year.  Oh, yeah…Jeb Bush he’s our man.  These people are crooks…just a bunch of out and out theives…that whole Bush family.

Presidential Debate 2 Analysis…

BARACK OBAMA

                                     Big Winner!

 Breakdown:

 Obama…   1.  Always looked Presidential

                   2.  Statistical facts to backup topics

                  3.  Presented actual future plans

                  4.  Clearly cited his goals as President

                 5.  Talk firmly about terrorist and Bin Linden

                 6.   Clearly defined past judgments which had been the right call

McCain…   1.  Never looked Presidential

                   2.  Joked and kidded around a bit too much

                  3.  Failed to fully layout or explain any explicit      plans or goals he had as President

                 4.  Kept reminiscing too much and kept conjuring up Reagan’s name far too often

                5.  Failed to adhere to the time restraints per their agreement prior to the debate

               6.  Kept falling back on his record as a war hero

 For the past few days I have been trying to figure out what I felt or thought about the past Presidential debate…debate number 2 between Obama and McCain.  There was something in the back of my mind but I just couldn’t figure it out.  I now have it.

Though I was always sure that Obama had won…I wasn’t quite sure about what I thought about McCain’s performance.  But now I do…it came to me last night. 

McCain never came across as Presidential.   That is what was in the back of my mind.  Sometimes he even looked lost.  While Obama would be talking McCain would be wandering around on the stage…like a little lost child.

While Obama seemed calm and collected…McCain seemed otherwise.

If I thought Palin wasn’t ready to be Vice President…McCain certainly misses the mark as President material. 

Truthfully, the only person I can think of on the Republican side who could have possibly matched Obama would have been Mike Huckabee or possibly a Mit Romney.  But McCain, no…never.  And the proof was in the pudding on Tuesday night.

McCain just doesn’t have that thing.  He just doesn’t have that thing  when you look and hear him that says ‘President quality.’   Nor is his resume that great…because the only thing he can continue to fall back on…is that he was a war vet.  ….and….what?   A maverick…okay….   

But is that enough?

Perhaps during the time that McCain has been sitting in the Senate trying to get into the Oval Office…if he only visited the Walter Reed Hospital a couple times he could have become an advocate for the vets who returned home only to find themselves placed in that horrible dungeon.

McCain talks about Ronald Reagan who before he left the White House was suffering with Alzheimer which left his wife at the wheel handling the business of this country…to nobody’s knowledge (but I guess a few very close insiders). 

Then McCain wants to call out the name of Joe Lieberman (what a looser) as if Lieberman was some kind of marvelous man of merit.  Lieberman who ran as Al Gore’s Vice Presidential pick…didn’t even resign his Senator seat to devote any real time in aiding Gore to win the Presidential Election in 2000.  Not to mention that Lieberman is a Republican in Democratic clothing.  The man needs to vacate the office.  This is the kind of man McCain wants to rave about?

Had Lieberman seriously considered adding anything to his own ticket he would have given up his seat in the Senate and rolled up sleeves and seriously got out there for the Democratic ticket…of which he had said yes to becoming a part of.   What a lack of leadership on the part of McCain for wanting rave over the likes of a Joe Lieberman.

And McCain choice of Sarah Palin was never one of the best qualified…but only the selection of a woman with the hopes to stealing from the Democrats those who whe were disenchanted behind the Hillary Clinton not being on the Democrat ticket.  Had McCain’s selection of a woman really been on the best qualified person…Sarah Palin would have never been casted.  Here again…more lack of good judgment on McCain’s part. 

If McCain has done so poorly in his selections on things now…and he hasn’t even gotten into the White House imagine the damage that such a careless man could cause?

One of the things during the debate…that Obama never voiced…which really goes to speak highly for him…he never once said-

“John as green as you may think I am and as much as you don’t think that I know anything.  How is it that you voted to invade Iraq and I voted against?”

And they both got the same intelligence information…but Obama showed temperance, independence and forethought on the matter.  He was not swayed by the crowd jumping on the Bush bandwagon.

During the course of the debate McCain tried to joke his way through it.  I would hate to think that that kind of man was sitting in the White House thinking he could joke his way into a peace accord between Israel and the Arabs…or trying to head off Putin.

Then again perhaps it is all a joke to McCain…as I have said.  He got to where he is by default.  Some how or other during the Republican Primaries…McCain just sunk in when nobody else was looking.

One other thing about Tuesday night’s debate between Obama and McCain…

I watched the debate on a ABC network channel…at the end of the debate they kept the cameras rolling on the stage.  It seems everyone sitting on the stage had a camera under their seat…and they all wanted a picture with Obama.  But also McCain nearly ran off the stage following the debate…but Obama stayed to shake hands and talk with those people.  Not only Obama but his wife…they both were enaged in conversations with people on that stage…everyday people who wer fortunate enough to know that they were in the presence of the next President of the United States.  That doesn’t happen everyday…and he was taking time with them…taking pictures with them…etc.  Wow, I would have loved to have been one of them.

Analysis…Obama/Biden Ticket

Who wrote that crumby story “Biden Pick Shows Lack of Confidence”?

Are you crazy?

Who are you trying to kid?

It shows brillance, forethought, courage…and the ability to make a good sound choice when the cards say-

“Pick a woman.”

or

“Pick a Hispanic.”

or

“Pick someone from a large Red State who can deliver that state for you.”

No, Barack Obama doesn’t make foolish moves.  He is wise, focused and knows what his real needs are, and will be when he gets into the White House.

He didn’t make a hasty decision but a reflective one…and the reflection that came back to him as he stood looking down in the waters….was Joe Biden.

And they are going into the White House come January 2009…because they are going to win on November 4, 2008.

Obama has his eye on the prize…and it is not who he picked that would have made much difference to that.  Biden or no one else is responsible for Obama’s walk into destiny…but him and God.

Joseph Biden, Obama’s choice… history in making

It was no secret to me.

There could have been no better choice or a person who I think compliments the Obama ticket more than Joseph Biden.

Having picked Joseph Biden…merely means to me that Obama is really taking this thing seriously.  And he is ready to…or should I say…has been playing to win all along.   That really is something which he had made quite clear fairly early in his bid to the White House, from day one.

Obama didn’t graduate off the streets…go to Princeton…and come through Harvard…to get stupid now.  No, his ever move…in my opinion have been ‘ordered’ by God.   This is destiny…and we are all bearing witness to it. 

Barack Obama could have made a lot of other choices that might have possibly given him more possible momentum…and maybe a few more votes…like picking Bill Richardson of New Mexico.  This, of course, would have garnered Obama much more enthusiasm and trust in the Hispanic community.  It would have been an easy choice…but Obama went with his heart.

No doubt there are going to be people who will be disappointed.  Namely…Hillary and her crew…just to name a few.

But had they been in Obama’s shoes…and wanting to pick the best person for the job-

“Would they have done anything less…or chosen differently?”

I have hired many people…and it only came down to who was the best…who could do the work…handle the responsibilities…could stand the test…could be counted on…etc…etc.  And at the end of the day…what their past work history looked like…it speaks volumes.  And if they didn’t have a past work history…it got down to what did I sense about them.

Clearly, Joe Biden earned his way onto the Obama ticket…and he didn’t do it through any large financial contribution to Obama’s champaign.  He did it through may years of tiredness work in the US Senate…and always challenging what was right…and that with great devotion.

Now, lets see if McCain can beat that?

He might try to pull one out of the hat…by putting a woman on his ticket.  McCain needs all the tricks he can muster in order to try and stop Obama from reaching where he was born to be…as Moses was.

Go get ’em guys.

I am so happy for them both…Obama for making a great choice.  And for Biden for finally reaping the rewards of many years of dedication…in a field he really loves…and a chance that no one ever gave to Ted Kennedy in appreciation for all of his work and tiredless efforts in the political arena.

Criteria for Vice Presidentship… Joseph Biden

We’ve all have been holding onto our seats waiting…and one of the things we can all say is…none of us has a clear idea exactly who the coveted choice will be.

The only thing I can say is…let it be a wise choice…and not a choice based on anything else…like…uhm…where in the country the person resides.  That would be a poor reason for picking anyone.

Much like Cheney…though we all hate to say it…this person will certainly have to be more involved in the day to day workings of the White House.  This  based upon the amount of chaos that will be left in the wake of the Bush Administration…there is going to be a need for someone who just doesn’t look pretty…or come from a big Red State.

No, the choice will have to be a real shaker and mover…somebody who is a real team player…works good under pressure…well organized…has great communication skills…not afraid to speak truth (well, that may rule out someone or other…most politicians in fact). 

The choice also must be self-motivated, needs little supervision, able to think on his or her feet yet faithful to the direction of, ideas and concepts of leadership (the President’s desires).  A person who can take supervision, is highly able to articulate well with management (the President), as well as with others.

The choice must work well with others, be able to think outside of the box, has a level of real wisdom and understanding of domestic and foreign affairs, gets along with others, have some level of genuine concern for others with particular reference to this country. 

The choice must be able to grasp information quickly, digest it, comtemplate it…work out a plan…or make a decision…present alternative ideas…and be able to offer reasoned and well considered counsel on a myriad of matters, concerns and dealings of the White House…and the Oval Office.

The choice must be able to maintain confidence, respect, decency and honesty.  Must be able to command respect…yet walk with a gentle stick…exudes high character…and exemplify only the highest of America’s qualities at all times. 

The choice must be a person who is willing to become friend, confidant and partner…with no eye towards personal gains or future political ambitions…but is truly committed to aiding, assisting and rolling up their sleeves to get this country back on track and honestly working to serve its people…their wishes…and their needs with true dedication.

The choice must be a person who is committed and truthful…has high integrity and loyalty…with an eye on the future of America…her safty…health and wellness..and those of her people.

This is the criteria for the next Vice President of the United States…no phone calls please.

Well, if this is what is asked of our employees…shouldn’t we ask the same of any person seeking to fill this job?

Somebody please fax this off to Obama…just so he knows that we are all on the same page…or direct him to this blog address…  www.bsmith101.wordpress.com  ‘pass it on…’

And please, Obama…whatever you do…don’t pick Hillary.

I know Deleware may not be a big State…nor a Red State…but Joseph Biden has always looked good to me.  He is dedicated, cares and can maintain counsel…he is a man who can be trusted…and undoubtedly comes with much wisdom and experience, as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.  He has all the pluses.  And he is a man along the same vein as Ted Kennedy.

Lets face it…when push comes to shove…when all the dust has settled…it won’t matter except for maybe aiding in the possibility of getting a few more votes that someone is from a big state or a Red State, or not.  But if you can’t do it on your own they will tie it around your neck…and never let you forget it. Don’t get caught in that bind.

Consider this…what will really matter in the long run…is whether they can be trusted…are they up to handling the demands that will be placed upon them…can they be counted on and trusted on when your back is turned…do they have or can garner world credibility and respect over a short period of time.  Will they have your best interest in mind and heart…and seek to protect you and this country…rather than seek out a place for themselves in 4 years to come.  Can they bring anything else to table besides the fact that they come from a big state or a Red State…because helping to clean up Bush’s mess will take a lot more than that.  It will take a bunch of willing hands all working towards united efforts…not just sitting around combing their hair…and saying-

“Well, you wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for me.  I delivered such and such state for you.  And without it you wouldn’t be President.”

Do you want to hear that?

No, you don’t need that kind of person, Barack.   Nor do you want to have to have that conversation over and over again…with people who believe you got there (into the White House)…just because of them.

You’ve got to look deeper…and make the right choice.  Because you don’t have room for error.   Most definitely not…there is no room for error.

Barack, you are on your way into the White House no matter who you pick…just maintain the faith you had when you got started in the race…when nobody thought you would make it.  It has taken you this far…it can take you the rest of the way.  Don’t start making silly choices now.

With Musharraf finally being forced out of government in Pakistan…now renders the country a lot more unstable than it was before. 

Pakistan is a country that is filled with nuclear weapons…also with millions of very poor people (the 6th most populated country in the world)…and in terms of size the country is larger than Russia.  Much of its unrest in the past years have been with India over border issues.  The conflicts at times had become highly violatile and bordered on being very dangerous…as both countries possess nuclear weapons.  Throw in insurgents, Taliban and much civil unrest and Pakistan is just a ticking time bomb.

Clearly, the issues of Pakistan and her future shall certainly be important issues that will face the White House along with many many other serious issues and problems concerning nuclear weapons, polices on aggression, Middle East matters, peace…and other world  and domestic matters.

Musharraf was also believed to have been responsible for the assissination of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, following her rally on December 27, 2007. Bhutto was Musharraf’s rival in an upcoming Pakistani Election…she was highly favored to win.  Musharraf was faulted for her murder due to his lack of providing protection for her knowing that her life was in danger  as she was living under many treats…many saw it as a way of him getting rid of his competion inadvertently…if indeed he was not the one responsible for ordering her death.   

Recently, Musharraf was forced from office under charges of corruption and other allergations which put him on a course to being impeached.

The other recent crisis to have surfaced most recently is the invasion of Russia into Georgia.  I am sure there is much much more unrest to come that will face those entering into the White House under a new banner…and hopefully working in a new way to solve the issues of this country and aid in solving those of the world.

Hillary Clinton games …Obama trust

It’s not that we didn’t expect it. 

In fact, we anticipated it.

Hillary Clinton, herself, put it out there.  And this is what she wanted.  She has been laying quietly back waiting on the Democratic National Convention to take place, where her tainted supporters plan to disturb and cause havoc…i.e. interrupt it as much as possible.

What happened to playing by the rules…none of which Hillary ever did either.

During the Democratic Primaries…first she had the Delegate vote and Obama had the popular vote, after sweeping State after State.  She said then-

“We’ll let the Delegates decide.”

She said it because…she was a Clinton and at that time she had the Delegate votes in her pocket.  Ops…I mean pocketbook.

Then Delegates began defecting over into the Obama camp…and near the end of the Primaries he still had more of the popular vote…and had gained over a lot of those Delegates.  And after it was all said and done…the vast majority of Delegates became Obama believers.

But prior to the Primaries…Michigan and Florida decided that they would move their primaries down on the calendar…to have earlier primaries.  A move that both States were warned by the National Democratic Committee not to do…or they would suffer the price of not being counted.   A policy  implemented by the Decoratic Party and agreeded upon and voted on by all the Democratic canidates…including Hillary Clinton.

What does Obama do?

He withdrew his name off the ballot in Florida…in order to be in allignment with the wishes of his Party’s Presidential Committee rules.  But Hillary does not…she kept her name on the ballots in Florida

What also did Obama do?

He did not campaign either in the State of Michigan or Florida…to be, again, in allignment with Party wishes concerning those states.

But what did Hillary Clinton do?

She neither withdrew her name from the ballots…nor did she not campaign in those states.  She went into those states repeatedly campaigning…though she knew she had voted against them being seated or their votes counted if they held early Primaries.

In other words…Hillary out and out cheated.  She failed to adhere to her Party decision concerning Michigan and Florida.  And she did her thang.  She voted one way…yet gave herself a few added points (some additional just in case votes) by doing the direct opposite of what Obama had done by adhering to Democratic Election Committee decision.  She was banking on the fact that as she watched which way the Primaries were going…that those ballots picked up in Michigan and Florida by her might come in handy…and if need be she was going to force the issue to have them counted and seated at the National Convention.  Thereby, she played the game…but was holding some additional cards on the side.  Which in any card game…is called cheating.

It is with the…whatever number of votes she garnered in Michigan and Florida…along with the other voties in the Primaries that she picked up…that Hillary claims that she had the majority vote of some18 million voters.  Which is an out and out lie.

Along with this claim, Hillary started chiming that Obama could not win the Presidential Election because he had not won any of the big states…which for the most part she had won…though many of them narrowly.  She was determined to destory Obama anyway she could…and by any means necessary.  And when all else failed to rally up the girls.

Fact that some Clinton supporters plan to disrupt the Democratic Convention set to begin in 2 weeks in Denver…really is no surprise.  Even though the fat lady has already song and gone home…there are still some tricks up the ol’ sleeve.  

It is going to be a long bumpy road to the White House.

In the next footage…the Clintons, Bill and Hillary, planted the seeds of this ignorance. They irrigated…and pruned it…and then leaned back and smiled as it flourished. The Clintons breath contempt, hatred and racism…all in the name of ‘reclaiming the White House.’

And to do what with it?

This country is in need of a dire change…new direction…new blood…new leadership. Or like every superpower before it…it shall fall to fear…hatred…capitalism…exploitation…corrupt government…failed policies…racism…and absolute ignorance…as displayed in the next footage.

 

Register and get out and vote come November 2008…and lets put somebody in the White House who will truly work for the people…won’t compromise morality…will speak truth to lies…and do his best to serve both this country and all its people who live within it. 

VOTE OBAMA.

Bear Sterns, Vice Pres, Obama…

BEAR STERNS EXCE’s…

How many of these stories about insiders ripping off investors are we going to hear and bear? No pun intended but at the end of the day tax payers end up having to pay for it…that’s what really gets me. These guys always end up walking away with millions and leaving poor everyday people (tax payers) to bear the burden of their misdeeds while they always get to keep most of the money that they stole while perpetrating crimes.

Oh, sure we could say, “shame on you”…but they’ve heard that already. Or we could say, “Let’s make ’em sign a pact to stop lying, cheating and stealing, and never do it again.” But didn’t we do that too?

You do remember that don’t you…Bush organized it and issued the code of ethics that all the executives were suppose to sign. But then let’s face it…would you cease to be a fraud, liar, thief and a cheat if George Bush gave you a document like that? Even Bush himself probably had his eyes closed with his fingers crossed behind his back as he put his signature on the document putting that supposed code into affect. And you know what…we haven’t heard anything about it since. And that all happened the first or second year after Bush stole, lied and cheated his way into the Oval Office.

But let me go to Martha Steward…how is it that she was ushered so quickly into prison when these Bear Stern exec’s (that they caught with their hands in the cookie jar…lying to investors while cashing in on their side of the table aiding in destabilizing the countries housing market). Just how did these two Bear Sterns exec’s manage to go off on vacation and spend millions in stolen hard cold cash while partying? What happened to freezing assets and not allowing crooks to put a hand on anything before their day in front of the judge?

Talk about some double standards…and the same thing with those Enron guys. It was the exact same scenario…and look how perfectly timed that was. The big Enron chief died before the trial and the jurors could be seated. How perfectly timed that was…couldn’t have happened by accident. And poor Martha they couldn’t rush her off to prison quick enough. In fact, it happened so fast it’s a wonder Martha didn’t get whip-flash.

Integrity and honor were something applauded and celebrated years ago. But today you can barely find them…either of them. Lying and cheating have become part of today’s culture. It is not just in the corporate world or Wall Street…it is in government, the court house, the school yard, college campuses, homes, churches…relationships, marriages, operating rooms, hospitals…television, news, internet…everywhere. And some of the places where lying, cheating, stealing, abusing etc. dominate the most are some of the most shocking.

VICE PRES…HILLARY????

Noooo, not Hillary. I could care less what Hillary wants. She does not even deserve a consideration. Anybody who would single-handedly try to railroad any political party in this country to forcefully submit to their will…their demands…their-their…(SIGH) can’t think of anything else…but she should not be lauded or applauded and touted as some type of national hero…or should I say she-ro.

All along the campaign during the Democratic Primary, Hillary refused to play fairly…even down to the end. Had not the Political New York Heavy Weights gone after her and forced her to surrender, submit, give-in etc…etc…she would have gone before Judge Judy seeking out recourse and some type of resolution in the courts…of which she may still try to do as she merely suspended her campaign as she voiced. This, of course, had been a consideration of hers all along the campaign trail that even those close to her were disclosing all over media if Hillary failed to get the nod from Party. And they were all very clearly angry (Hillary’s people) and did not mind trying to get people to cross over and cast their votes for McCain in light of Hillary not becoming the nominee of the Democratic Party Presidential Election 2008.

Shame on Hillary for causing such discourse by trying to motion women and poor middle class Whites to cross over to the other side and vote for McCain. And she wants to purposely break Obama’s bank roll by having his people pay off her campaign debts which she so unabashedly, shamelessly and recklessly continuously kept pouring into her sinking ship of a campaign knowing that she would be looking to hit up Obama for the reimbursement. And we thought Nixon was tricky. He could have taken some lessons from Bill and Hillary.

If Obama were to choose Hillary as VP, and he won’t, but if he were to do so…he really wouldn’t be able to sleep. Talking about having to keep one eye open and a finger on a trigger…and I don’t even believe in guns. But if Obama got a phone call in the middle of the night it wouldn’t be about how he would handle the situation or the crisis. No, that would be the least of his worries…he would first have to be careful to stay away from all the windows…and remember to keep low because Hillary could be out in bushes.

I know Hillary is dangerous.

There is this saying about a woman scorned…maybe you know it.

If Obama chose Hillary…well, let’s just say it this way…the brother would have to start packing. Let’s face it…she has put out the code word and everything else against Obama. And all this, mind you, while she wasn’t even VP but just another person in the race.  Imagine just how much more dangerous Hillary Clinton would be to Obama if she were his VP.

OBAMA ON FATHERS…

Finally got a chance to hear the speech which Obama gave at a church in Chicago on Father’s Day.

Personally, as always Obama gave a great message…and that is what it was. He was invited to speak at a church on Father’s Day. So, what else would he have talked about? And it was a Black church…so, why wouldn’t he talk to them about Black Men stepping up and being responsible.

But clearly anyone hearing that speech by Obama could apply it across the board to men in almost all the various groups. Many men today totally disregard their responsibilities…whether it be inside or outside of marriage. What better day to have such a dialog than on Father’s Day. And Obama is destined to become one of the great fathers of this country.  So, who better than to take the time on Father’s Day to give it…in this day where we need leadership to step up to the plate and lead not only in words but by example.

It is unfortunate, however, that every time Obama speaks he is going to have to be dissected not only by White folks but by Black folks as well…believing that everything he says is politically motivated or that he has some kind of special agenda.

Enemy Combatants…

Labeling is everything…and the Bush Administration knows how to get around everything simply by refusing to call things what they are or as they are. This might just be a little something that the Bush Administration, however, picked up from the Clinton Administration when Clinton refused to called the Rwanda Genocide a genocide until some 100 days after it had begun and came to an end, in 1994.

Bush has been such a good student in learning how to not play the call it what it really is game…you can actually see how well it works by his phrasing of our current economic depression as a mere “Slow Down”…not a recession but just a little ol’ slow down.

So, Bush has applied the same little trick to how the US has classified various prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. By classifying prisoners as detainees rather than as enemy combatants has allowed the US Government to squirm around and not have to adhere to any of the codes of ethics or of conduct instituted by the Geneva Convention in regards to treatment of prisoners, the interrogation of enemy combatants etc. These little games, however, and that is what they are…games…fool no one…foolish…and are fools play.

The tarnishing of America’s image is something in which the Bush folks have not spent one night losing any sleep over. It is truly a very sad commentary on the legacy of any so-called President of the United States. However, to put at the jeopardy thousands of innocent enlisted men and women lives who risk being captured, tortured and/or killed every day in places where dismay and mayhem was perpetrated by this country under the Bush Administration is incomprehensible. And to heighten the likability of them being tortured and butchered because our government, the US government, refuses to play by the rules and adhere to the Geneva Convention is a grave mistake.

In every discourse, someone has to take the high road…and it will never be this country under the rule of Cheney and Bush.

Really, at the end of the day what would it hurt to allow detainees in Guantanamo Bay to have their day in court? Not unless this government has scooped up a bunch of people who really knew nothing and have had nothing to do with terrorism…just people used to make it look good by having large numbers imprisoned to aid somehow in the appearance of the Bush group seemingly looking good and as being effective in its war on terrorism. Truthfully, do not put this pass them.

That would be an outrage wouldn’t it…to find out there may be a bunch innocent people grabbed up and carted off to Guantanamo Bay for years and detained there with no kind of recourse or time table…or possible no way out. To allow anyone out who has been detained falsely under the Bush Administration would certainly guaranteed the possibility of future problems for the USA…as some of those detainees (who may have been falsely imprisoned) are bond to come out very bitter and harboring great hatred and resentment towards America now even if they may not have before.

What a mess the Bush Administration has gotten us into…and so foolishly.

TOMATOES…

I haven’t gotten over the spinach thang to tell you the truth. It is not that I have been eating spinach all that long. I really started about, I don’t know, maybe some 20 years ago…and I won’t tell you how old I am but that is far less than half of my age. But once I started eating spinach, mostly in salad…can’t really stand it cooked…I kind of grew to like it. And wouldn’t you know it…once I finally started eating my spinach it comes up being tainted…and I haven’t touched it since.

Now, tomatoes have hit the list. One good thing about tomatoes…you can always grow your own…cheaper that way too. And it doesn’t take a lot to grow them or to get them to grow. Funny the home grown tomatoes actually taste better anyway. And if you never noticed…and I hate to tell you this…I never noticed it either until somebody pointed it out to me…today when tomatoes rot they start rotting from the inside out. That never was…well, back in the day. (for some reason while writing this blog I’m beginning to feel old…real old)

All the un-natural techniques of growing fruits and vegetables today, as well as, pumping up everything…cattle…and those poor chicken. I really feel sorry for them. I can’t imagine being shut-up in a dark sealed off in a place where they are feigning night 24 hours, all day and night, to continuously have me producing eggs…ughhhh! It just doesn’t sound right. And the size of some chickens today can rival the size of a small turkey. (can’t get away from that word ‘today’ for some reason)

Salmonella is all over the place…tomatoes, spinach, chicken, hamburgers etc…etc… And if that doesn’t get ya’ there is Mad Cow disease, Bird Flu, Foot and Mouth disease and who knows what else…they never tell us everything until it is upon us and at least twenty or more have come down with it. I remember sitting at home in New York afraid to go out because the city would out all night busy spraying mosquito’s.

If you have noticed nothing tastes the same as it did years ago. Sometimes you just want to shout enough is enough…these scientist have just gone too far. Whenever I look at steak I never know if I’m eating one of poor ol’ Dolly’s off-springs…that could account for why most meats taste old and lack the favor of foods from yesterday. At lease those in Africa were wise enough to say no to bio-generated foods. Who would want it? That’s is how they got into trouble with AIDS. Nobody talks about it…but do you remember that ship they used to call the Good Ship Hope that used to carry thousands upon thousands of bags of blood to Africa.

Nobody of course talks about it…but that ship did used to exist and they even used to run commercials about it and their great humanitarian deeds. Nobody calls that ship’s name now…not since Africa suffers so heavily from HIV and AIDS. So, of course, the Good Ship Hope’s name has not been brought up, especially not since it has been discovered that blood is the number one means of transmitting AIDS.

But going back to the foods that we eat it is little wonder people are suffering from all kinds of nerve and other disorders…it’s all the chemicals in our water and our food. Everything is shot up with this or that. Yes, larger is better in some things but not in all things. And not matter how you try to get away from it…it really doesn’t matter who plants what or where…because chemicals are everywhere…in all our water, in the soil…everywhere…even in the air we breathe.
We have truly messed up this planet…little wonder Mother Nature is striking back. (I don’t actually believe in Mother Nature…but I do believe in God and retribution)

GAS PRICES…

No matter how much we try not to acknowledge it this gas thing could get a lot worst. Based upon the prices that other countries pay we have really had it easy, and that really goes for everything…just talk to some foreigners. But who cares about other countries…we live in America!

Greed being what it is…it was just a matter of time before our prices started to catch up with the rest of the world. We, Americans, after all, have had the most disposable income in the world for a very long time…and for the most part our government has held back the super dogs from ripping every penny out of our little ol’ hands. But today our government is in bed with many those super dogs and just doesn’t mind passing legislation to help them, themselves and their friends to get richer.

A lot of things have changed since the influx of the Bush Administration into the White House. When you consider how rapidly under Bush the gas prices have blown-up…it is not just Exxon or Sunoco who should be called in to chat with the Senate and be investigated…but Bush and his gang too.

It is not a secret how closely tied Bush is to the companies making all these stellar millions while we have all have had to tighten our belts and go without. Think about it…when Bush went into the White House where were the gas prices…maybe at what…a $1.39/gal for regular gasoline…think about where it is now? Just how did that happened and so rapidly?

Nothing can happen as fast as our gas prices skyrocketing without some inside help. For one thing by going in and invading Iraq, Bush more than orchestrated this. At the very on-set when Bush started talking about invading Iraq most people here in America and elsewhere saw the invasion for what it really was…that it was all about oil. Not quite in the way as we all thought though. It was about the stifling of the oil market by disrupting the oil output coming out of Iraq thereby causing the oil world to go bonkers…and push up prices by destabilizing the Middle East even further and the OPEC Moguls.

If you think for a moment that they, Bush/Cheney and everybody around them didn’t have stocks in Sunoco, Exxon, Mobil, Texaco etc. and everything else having to do with basic home utility services and fuels…then you are living in the Dark Ages. They are all making out like a bunch of bandits drinking pina coladas waving a finger in the air with a hand on their hip dancing around the glow of the ol’ camp fire while singing songs and occasionally taking breaks to punch up their accounts on their Blackberries to see just how much more their fuel investments have grown within the last 15 minutes.

When you can manipulate the market…you can also help yourself to lots of the benefits and rewards of doing so. And as President of this country George Bush and Dick Cheney have been able to do pretty much anything and everything they have wanted to do including torturing prisoners which is clearly against International Law, eavesdrop and spy on American citizens etc. They launched a pre-empted strike on the Iraqi people, instituted wire tapping, torture and the Patriot Act which in essence gave Bush and his crew carte blanche as to whatever they wanted to do almost without limits as long as they framed under the guise of being in the best interest of National Security.

When you consider the gas shortage of the 70’s…it paled in terms of the prices we see at the gas pumps today at prices well of over $4.20. When the gas shortage of the 70’s was over it was finally disclosed to the American public that there really hadn’t been a gas shortage…because the government had never come close to having touched our own gas reserves…this mind you after a very tremulous period in American history where people were being killed at gas pumps fighting over gasoline…and then there was the gasoline rationing instituted by the government where depending upon the last number on your license plate you could or could not buy gas only to find out that we had not really been in a gas shortage after all.

Our government from time to time has been cruel without measure or reason…what was the purpose of having done that?  Money.  Then like today.

Bush having gone into Iraq and disrupted the oil supply by bombing everything was a very good way of ensuring a certain desirable outcome…like escalating gasoline prices. Before going into Iraq the outcome undoubtedly had to been weighed and the consequences probably had been of great consideration by the Bush Administration. So, the only logic for making such a decision could have only been if the benefit of obliterating Iraq outweighed the consequences of not invading Iraq.

There is this saying that the rich only want to get richer.

Surely, all that effort was not solely for the removal of one man and his two sons. There had to be something more to the invasion of Iraq. And we all know it was never about weapons of mass destruction.

Here is what it was…the idea was to make the rich richer…and if anybody among that group wasn’t rich prior to the bombing of Iraq…they quickly pulled together some money from somewhere, invested it in Sunoco and anything else that had to do with fuel, oil, utilities etc…and have made a bundle. And they are still making bundles of money on the Iraqi War while it is costing us over a billion dollars per day. And as if financial cost were not enough…consider the innocent lives on both sides. And here we are in America fighting to keep our heads above the water as the prices for everything shoot up due the inflated costs of oil and gasoline.

Now, Bush is calling to end the band on off-shore drilling as a means to decrease the rising cost of fuel from abroad. He says that now that gas prices are climbing over $4…”…it is now time to end the bands.”

Well, who caused the increase in the first place?

Now, Bush wants to turn it around? What in the eleventh hour? Yeah…and at what costs? And to whose benefit?

They’re in the oil business, folks. The Bush’s are oil barons. George Bush and the Republicans got us into this mess and he is not in business of turning anything around…but more money.
When was the first time you got into your vehicle and had to decide upon what errands you could afford to run that day…and what you could do along this or that route while carrying out some other errand?

It is called bundling…and you’re doing it…and I am doing it. This is something we never really had to think about before. But when you consider that nearly $4.50 gives you what you used spend $1.05 at the pump a few years ago…bundling is the only way to go.

My mother used to take us in the car and drive us through the countryside on beautiful summer days stopping by fruit and vegetable stands along the way. And many times we would find ourselves out on the Connecticut shoreline taking in the sun and racing through the rushing ocean waters lapping at the beach sands. But who can afford it today at the prices we pay at the gasoline pumps at today’s prices. To get in your car and go anywhere is like going on vacation now…we have ended up paying $100 to $300 or more a week just to get around town.
Think about it…putting $5 worth of gas into your tank today is just a little above putting in a dollar’s worth yesterday…I mean years ago. I understand that we live under the domain of inflation but something seriously wrong with this picture.

Perhaps we can’t say it all started after George Bush got into the White House…but these soaring runaway prices have. And the funny part about it is…everywhere he goes he rides for free.

REALITY CHECK…

Did you know that prior to George Bush presidents were paid only $200,000 a year. That was up until Bush stole his way into the White House. After Bush took over the country the presidential pay shot up (just like our gas prices but faster) to $400,000 a year.

To think we pay Bush double the amount of money Clinton was paid during his 8 years in the White House is mind bobbling. Talking about an over paid executive.

That’s not all…we not only pay him all that money but with every bite he takes, every piece of toilet paper or tissue he sneezes into we pay for it. So, to think that Bush is the one responsible for our fuel shock at the gas pumps, our food shock in the grocery stores, and our shock over prices in department stores and pharmacies etc. around the country is…is…is…(you fill in the blank…I can’t think of anything right now because many people are hurting…and really hurting from what this man and his administration has done). And it is a shame.

Thank God a new day is just ahead. Change is in the atmosphere.

THE MORTGAGE CRISIS…

When I read the newspaper and see all the foreclosures, forget about around the country, but right here! Right here where I live…it is hard not to feel for our fellow Americans who are faced with foreclosure, high education costs, runaway medical expenses etc…it is hard not to feel some level of empathy…and even more so if you have to go through some of this yourself.
Foreclosure is no joke. You do not go to bed and sleep…because you never know what you are going to wake up to in the morning. The fear our home being sold over her head is quite frightening. So, I have come to remember to pray for everyone going through this process.

I also had to go through most of my winter, last year, without heat or hot water…that too taught me how to pray for others going through that…for those without a home or roof over their head. I can’t imagine it…but I do know that it has to be a grievous state to be in.

It is funny if you don’t have to go through some of these things yourself you will never know just how much others have to contend with…and just how disconcerting it all can be.

But thank God we serve a mighty God who is true to His word. He will never forsake you…and it is true that the righteous never ever have to beg for bread. So, if you are going through something be encouraged. I’m thinking about you and praying for you. Remember it is only a test…you will come through like pure gold.

It is funny as I now more than ever thank God for all that He has done for me…and is doing. And my appreciation for the simpler things in life has grown…as they give me my greatest pleasures. Sometimes I can just sit and look up at the sky for great periods of time and just marvel at the goodness of God. And I am constantly thanking God every time I get into the shower for the hot water and the warmth in the house…and how He straightened out our mortgage situation.
