EMMETT TILL’S ACCUSER COMES CLEAN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS…

Well, it is Black History Month.   And I really can’t remember when this actually took place… the year when a young 15 year old youth went south to Mississippi from Chicago, to spend the summer with relatives in the south.

In looking back at a newspaper article on the story, I see where it took place in 1955.  The summer Emmett Till went to spend what was to be his lastsummer visiting those cousins, and an aunt and uncle down south.  Because somewhere during that visit in August 1955 it was said
that Emmett took certainly liberties with some white woman.  He got out of place… he crossed that divide that colored and white were not to cross… because he was just being a young innocent kid… unaware of the do’s and the don’t of the then… and maybe still in some parts of the south.

Supposedly young Emmett while in this woman’s family store had told the white woman how he had dated a woman just like her up in Chicago.   And upon leaving the store it was said that young Emmett Till gave that woman 1 of those big long whistles, that men did back in that time when they thought a woman was beautiful… somewhat of a wolf call or something.

It was that story of Emmett Till which always colored me and my thoughts about how when you leave home… if you lived north of the Mason/Dixon Line… how you should behave very differently if you were to go down south.

Something like how you had to remember when you crossed that line …that Mason/Dixon Line going into the south, that you were no longer in the north… or in your little Northern town or big city, like Chicago or Detroit.   And how remembering this… that this ‘black and white thang’ could possibly save your life.

I recall once just we had crossed that line 1 summer on 1 our many drives south to visit my grand mother in the south, that once we pulled up to a motel where my mother sent me out to go inside and ask how much it would cost to get a room?

An occasional stop at a motel to freshen up used to be a habit of my family sometimes while we were making the more that 20 hour trip down south to Florida.  But this particular day as I almost was about to reach for the door leading into the motel office, out came running two black boys… or teens… something I couldn’t really tell how old they were as they came running through that door shouting back to me, ‘Get of of here!  Go!  Go!’

I immediately ran back to our car and reported to my mother and father what those 2 boys had told me as they had whizzed pass me and shouted for me to get out of there.

Suddenly, my mother started screaming at me to get in the car… and she started hollering they ain’t gonna take my sons.   ‘They ain’t gonna take my sons.’

Boy, I had never seen anything like it or ever heard my mother react in such a way.  But years later I understood.

At that time my brothers were young kids… maybe 10 or 11 or something like that.  But my mother having grown up in the south… my being a Jamaican had grew up in Jamaica so he had not really experienced any that Jim Crow stuff of the deep south.  But my mother knew it well.   And she knew that it would not matter to white folks that my brothers had not robbed or done whatever those 2 boys had done… but that they were black and that in of itself would have been enough for my young brothers to have been taken …in place of the real crooks or whatever they were who had come running out of that motel office.

I do not think we ever again stopped at another motel in all the years we continued to travel back and forth to Florida after that.

For years, I think that up until this very point I had always felt that Emmett Till  should have been told how to behave, and carry himself while down there in the south.  I always thought it was his mother’s fault for not sitting him down, and telling him how to behave down there when it came to being around white folks.   It was the typical blaming that many people do when they blame the dead for being dead.  Like some people blame Trayvon Martin for being out late… or out in the rain in that white neighborhood when he got shot and killed.

I thought that way because I  was stupid.  I was  blind.  Ignorant of the fact that many times it just didn’t matter what we did do or not, irregardless there was a very likely could still come up dead

He was a kid.   And you could have told him something a thousand times, and would you believe you wouldn’t have to tell him it again… as we all do when it comes to talking to our children?
Emmett Till did not live in the south.   Nor was there any reason for me to believe that what had been said regarding that story had been true.   For you see, evidently I had believed something inappropriate must have been done for those white men to go in the middle of the night seeking this young boy, regarding something something he had said and/or done.

That is the irony of it.  How readily we eat up the things we see or hear.

It had been a lie.   It had all been a lie.   And because some white woman had lied on her son, Mrs. Till was forced to go down to Mississippi and collect the bloated remains of her young teen age son, her only child… I think… and bring him back to Chicago in order to bury him.

Years later after Emmett Till had been viciously murder by a group of white men in the middle of the night, after going to his relative’s house and demanding that they send him out to them or they would burn them out and all up in their home.

How could that woman possibly live with herself after that?

Years later, I moved to Chicago and while working as a church secretary for a pastor by the name of Dr. A. L. Reynolds, Jr.,  I was told something by Dr. Reynolds, who pastored Sixth Grace United Presbyterian Church, at Cottage Grove and 35th Street, on the South Side.

Dr. Reynolds 1 day came into the office and for some reason began telling a story, of how he had had to run away from his home, which had been back in Arkansas.   The reason he had to pick up and get out of there he told me, was because some white woman wanted him and he didn’t want her.   That is exactly how he put it.   He said, ‘she wanted me.  But I didn’t want her.  So, I had to leave.’   Because I did not want her to lie on me.   Because in those days a white woman could say a black man raped her and they (meaning the other white people… mostly men) would kill him.

So, Dr. Reynolds said he got of Arkansas as quickly as he could.

And he said he left Arkansas running because he didn’t want her to tell a lie on him.

Through the our history in this country many black people have found it necessary to get up and get out of town in the middle of night, headed north or to other points unknown.  Because they were afraid of some type of bad consequence which might take hold upon them… or befall them due to a lie… or some white person wanting something that belonged to them.

It comes to mind that even in Biblical text Abram lied.  He was forced to lie when he and Sarah went to enter Egypt.   And he became afraid that the king… otherwise known as Pharaoh… would want his wife, Sarai…as she was then before being renamed by God Sarah.   Because the Bible says she was fair and goodly to look upon.

So, Abram felt that he would be killed by Pharaoh.   So, therefore, told Sarai that they should say that he was her brother rather than her husband.

The end of this story is that Pharaoh and the people of his kingdom are overtaken by what the Bible calls a ‘great plague.’   Pharaoh questions Abram and asked him why he had not told him that the woman, Sarai… was his wife?

We come into the 21st Century now, some more than 60 years later and now we hear that the white woman who had told her husband and his white buddies, that Emmett Till had whistled and spoken to her… a white woman inappropriately… that she had lied.

All that pain and heartbreak … tears shed had been over a lie.

A young boy was pulled and dragged out into the dark of night… tortured and beaten …then partially burned and thrown into the river… to be found days later a bloated beyond recognition dead decomposing body.   Because that woman lied.   And now …I guess on her death bed… or on her near death bed she tells the truth… that she lied about the whole thing.
How did that woman do that… when she knew what the consequences for any black man would be?

She knew what times she lived in.   But just did not care.  She told that lie knowing that some out of control white drunken men were going to go and find them a white boy, and have what they called ‘have some fun.’    While they enjoyed torturing him and beating him…and eventually killing him.

How did this young boy respond?

Can you imagine what was going through his mind and heart… scared beyond his wits…
kicked…slapped…punched… stomped… cut… lit on fire…

And all because some white woman thought it nothing to lie on him.   And me thinking years later that it had been his fault… because nobody every trained him properly how to behave around white folks.

This reminds me of how I hear black commentators on television now when they are talking about black men being shot and killed by white police officers.   Everybody saying they should have kept their hands on the dashboard… or where they could be seen… or not moved too quickly… etc… etc… etc….

Blaming the victim because racist people still abound….

MUHAMMAD ALI… GONE AND I DOUBT THAT ‘THE GREATEST’S’ FLAME WILL EVER BE FORGOTTEN… OR GO OUT… and ORLANDO GAY CLUB KILLINGS…

Well, even his illness Muhammad Ali managed to avoid having passed long ago.   For sure

some will say he fought a great fight… and perhaps his greatest was out side the ring fighting Parkinson.

I really do not know many people who have had the staying power of Muhammad Ali when it comes to battling the disease of  Parkinson.   And I guess 1 can say Ali fought and won because he managed, regardless of all the shaking… to keep his humor and be able to see the world in a light that most of us have no idea of… and the blessings we all have who do not have to battle to live or do for ourselves.

I will never forget when Ali stood before the cameras and said because he did not believe in killing people based upon his religious belief… he, therefore, refused to be drafted and go to war, and fight in the Vietnam war.  That action caused many who hated this young black kid, who was so skillful in the boxing ring to get the ammunition to really go after him.  But though that action did color his earlier boxing achievements… and ended up with his title being taken from him, Muhammad Ali never let that stop him from being  the regal sportsmen he continued to be until the day he died.

Another time I will never forget is when Ali during his time from being not allowed to box by the U. S. government… came to visit our college campus.  He was in our Black House… the black student organization building… and he came to talk to us.  I cannot remember what Ali talked about… as all I can remember about that day was that there were a number of us black students in the our Black House that day… and Ali took a hundred dollar bill and bought McDonald’s for all of us.  This may not sound like much to you but to a whole bunch of mid-afternoon starving college students it was something truly great.  We were ecstatic that this great boxer was on our campus and we had a chance to  meet him 1 on 1.  Could not get home quick enough to tell my daddy… who was a major Muhammad Ali fan.

beginning until his end can truly say that he was indeed ‘the greatest of all times.’  No other box has bought to the prize ring the kind of interest and excitement of an Muhammad Ali fight… which was always colorful and full of rhythms such as, ‘Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.’   Or give us a thrill like the ‘Thriller in Ma’nilla.’

Not many have lived to see the greatest basketball player of all times... Michael Jordan.   Or the greatest female sister tennis players of all times… Venus and Serena Williams.  Or the greatest base ball players of all times… Hank Aaron.  The greatest golfer of all times… Tiger Woods.   Or the greatest female vocalist of all times… Whitney Houston… and the greatest entertainer of all times… Michael Jackson.  And Muhammad Ali the greatest heavy weight boxer of all times… from the Olympics into the professional boxing ring.  And what a gift for trash talking

…until 1 day God shut all that down… but did not take his life until now.

Yes, he was pretty.   No boxer prettier… or sharper or more on point than Ali.  And an Ali fight was guaranteed to be exciting and filled with the unexpected.

Watching the funeral on the television and seeing all the religious leaders seated on the stage at Ali’s funeral, and being fully aware of Ali’s own religious beliefs… I could not help but think, ‘If you serve anything other than the 1 and only living God, and his son Jesus… than you can belong to as many religion groups as you want, and be the very best person in the world and never make it to heaven.’

It is my hope that Muhammad Ali’s last and fight battle was 1 he also won… and came to professed that Jesus is Lord, and not a lower prophet under Allah.

Odd how that massive and very powerful man was never stopped by any of his opponents,  who were also big strong  massive heavy weight men with plenty of strength.   But having

suffered so many head injuries brought about a disease that ‘the greatest’ wrestled with for a very long time… and now probably never was overcome by it… but by age instead.  And he went out of here smiling at the ripe old age of 74…smiling because he defeated Parkinson too… but could not overcome age though many have tried.

One thing is for sure …Foreman… Frazier… and all the rest would never be nothing if there had not been an Ali, who allowed them the privilege to claim into his ring…

Well, God bless… and hope you have a beautiful weekend this weekend.  But as I close I cannot help but think about the terrible chain of events that took place in Orlando just this week.

After over a hundred people were shot and more than 50 killed it is insane to me to hear any pastor or supposed religious man laughing and stating from his pulpit that the cold blooded murder who shot and killed those people should have killed everybody who was in that gay club?

I have wonder what Bible are people studying from?

What manner of doctrine are they reading where it says, ‘God hated homosexuals enough to want them all dead.”   If that were the case I am more than sure that God even back in Biblical times surely would not have stopped with merely Sodom and Gomorrah… especially since it is widely known as recognized as almost customary for such things as that among men in Greece during that time.

There is no way that this Orlando gay night club shooting should not be classified as a ‘hate crime’ irregardless of the ethnic background of the shooter and his religion… because this crime was perpetrated solely against the gay men in that club for reasons of hate… due to their sexuality … perhaps because he found them to be attractive… and of interest to his sick perverted sexual desires, which to the shooters ethnic group were both against his religion and ethnicity.   Whom himself frequent that club trying to date many of those men… and met up with Hispanic gay men over the internet.   And there can be denying that this all came about just as we entered into June, which is gay pride month.

Our God has not given unto us the spirit of hate… or hate mongering.   But of love.  Biblical scripture tells us that we are to love one another as we lover ourselves… this comes without conditions or any special exemptions.

BILL COSBY… THE SHAME OF IT ALL….

I really don’t know where to begin with this commentary of the sorrowful facts of this story.  Though I must say that from the beginning I did not at 1 point think of those who said what they did about what had happened to them was not or might not have been true.  My thoughts on this subject from the on-set when the women last year started coming forward to say that they had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby… was simply this… there were just too many of them saying the same exact thing for it to have not been true.

If you remember it was like everyday you woke up another woman was saying she too had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby… and it just did not stop… woman after woman.

They say to date about 47 women, since this unbelievable story started to unfold last year, have come forward to claim that Bill Cosby sexually took criminal advantage of them by drugging and then having sexual intercourse with them.

Throughout all those claims of rape Bill Cosby steadily maintained that all those women had been lying.  However, most recently it has come to light that in 2005 a woman sued Bill Cosby for the exact same thing these women, who most recently have come forward to claim against Bill Cosby… and in that case which was settled …Bill Cosby in a written deposition did acknowledge that he had indeed purchased drugs for the purpose of giving them to women in order to have sex with them.

Thus, Bill Cosby’s own statement which had been sealed by that court in 2005 validates the new found claims of all these women who most recently since last year have all spoken up and out against Bill Cosby, and this all appears to have been a very deep and highly dark secret past of deviant sexual behavior… serial rape on the part of Bill Cosby.

Over the social networks the disputes were strong and wide with regard to those who defended the good name and reputation of their ‘favorite tv dad’ verses those who felt strong that the 47 or so women who began to come out against Bill Cosby last year were indeed telling the truth.

There were those who said flatly that it could not be true.

Then those who claimed that all those women were after was Bill Cosby’s money with all their lies.

Then those who felt that if it were true why had those women waited so long… until now to come out to say anything about it.  So, therefore, it was not true.

Then there were those who said they …those women… never should have come out… and should have just let laying dogs lay, and not ruin Bill Cosby’s legacy.

I for 1 felt that it had to be true because I could see no viable cause for why so many women would all join in and say the same thing if it were a lie… and many women who had become successful in their own right in various industries and career paths.  It just didn’t make sense to me that they could ALL being telling a lie against Bill.

And now… today we know for sure that they all were not lying at all.  Bill Cosby had lived and had lead a very deceitful secret dark life under the cover of a fatherly and very philanthropic exterior image, which he so readily displayed to the whole world.  While in his deep dark closet he had hoards of women whom he had sexually abused by drugging them then raping them.

Clearly, it is not the type of end or legacy which 1 would have thought to come and overtake Bill Cosby’s squeaky clean and example of a decent respectable man, who for years was thought of by millions as an ideal example of fatherhood.  Bill Cosby clearly was a modern day version of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.  And 1 really has to wonder as to what drove Bill to continue drugging and raping so many women throughout what appears many years… and possibly some even back in his days as a young man growing up in Philly.  Because I would believe that this kind of prolong abusive sexual behavior may not have just got started when Bill got into show business.

Most of us would agree that today Bill Cosby is looking pretty bad.  Many days he has even appears to look just plain out of it.   Perhaps his conscious has caught up with him.

It is amazing to me how such a man could have lived with himself after having perpetrated so many rape attacks 1 after another …and another and another and another.   A man who has at least 2 daughters and a wife himself to have such disregard and disrespect for a woman to rob her of something most valuable to her… by inducing drugs into her body and taking sexual advantage of her… is beyond my level of comprehension as to how he could have done such a thing at any time to any 1 and live with himself… and pretend to be so perfect a human being.  And then to set himself up as some type of moral purist for black consciousness… is aboundingly unthinkable… knowing what he knew concerning the women he took advantage of …as he knew that what he had so criminally perpetrated against so many women… and possible some under age young girls was so hypocritical and just plain not right.

The level of betrayal and deceit… and moral lack of consciousness is so very baffling to me… and that it should be BILL COSBY who was the person who fooled and betrayed us all.   It is just unbelievable… and as unbelievable to me as when I heard about John Edwards… another man who portrayed himself as being squeaky clean and incapable of doing any wrong.  And wrong he did… not only as an adulterer but a liar to all of America, as well as, to his family and his wife who was dying of cancer.

John Edwards knowing he had just had a child out of wedlock secretly with a woman, who in my opinion couldn’t stand up to a brown paper bag.  She looked like…     Well, I hate to say it.   But she looked like trash …and trash she was.    And she roped him in …had his baby and then she hit the tabloids.

The man sacrificed it all for what?

Then the pain that it caused his wife… who was already suffering from her battle with cancer.

That man played us.  And I mean he played us…

Well, he played me.  I had thought very highly of ole John Edwards until I heard him talk on those video tapes that that women had shot of him… when he started running around with her.  In those video tapes his language and everything behind the scenes was so different from what John had put forth to the public eye.  And this is exactly the same thing what we can say about Bill Cosby.

There were people almost ready to fight over Bill Cosby with the people who said that Bill must have done what those women claimed that he had done to them.  Bill’s die hard believers were ready to go to blows… some made videos stating their opinions and calling people names and insult for coming out against Bill Cosby.  And those people called those folk out if they had said anything that may have tarnished Bill’s reputation.

Now, it appears that nobody really had to say anything to tarnish the reputation of Bill Cosby… because Bill Cosby had so adequately done that for himself… when he made the decision to first start drugging women and then rape them.

The likelihood of any of Bill’s victims being compensated financially for what he did to them appears to be most unlikely.  But public opinion many times can be far worst than any money coming out of the pocket to a man like Bill Cosby… whom I think rather loved being held in the high regard that many people used to see him in.

But that is gone now… and in many ways that being taken from him is a far worst price.

HAUNTED BY HER EYES… AND THE EVIL IN THIS WORLD

Ever since reading the caption under this little girl’s picture on a posting on my Facebook page… I have been haunted by her eyes.

But as I looked at her face it seemed to tell a story… of much sadness… weariness… and age.  She looked tired and older that her physical years… like an old woman.  A young face but so old.

I think what impacted me ever so much about this story is the fact that she was homeless with her mother… and I guess other siblings… living in a shelter.

Little children living in a shelter???

It is not that I am naive.  Because many years ago as I happened to be crossing a busy Manhattan street down near Macy’s… walking towards me was a woman pushing a baby carriage and a couple of other children along side of her.  But from the moment my eyes fell upon them walking towards me… as we were both going in opposite directions….  I could tell that that woman was homeless and her children too.  So, I have seen it… though you don’t often hear about it.  It is something that is hard not to notice when you see it.

I do not think that little children should be allowed to live in shelters… no matter what.  It is 1 thing for parents to have to go.  But I do not think children should be made to suffer that kind of experience when they had nothing to do with whatever circumstance fell upon their parent and/or parents.  Though some might argue that it is because of their children that they are in the state that they are in.  But children do not bring about poverty.  It is brought about by people who are not prepared to deal responsibly with their charge of caring for themselves.   Part of taking care of ourselves is also being able to take care of our children decently.  This is why we have be educated… work… and endeavor to provide even when times get hard.

Perhaps, I am not realistic.  I am not talking about pulling up your own bootstraps.  I’m talking about adulthood takes preparation and serious determination for a successful life.  And we can do that only by advancing ourselves… studying… improving our skills… get into training positions… and endeavoring to move up.

The 1 thing I can still foremost remember about parents of old… they almost all wanted their children to have better lives than they did.  So, they worked to make that happened.    They struggled to make that happened.  They saved to make that happened.  But there is a new parent of so-called parents… and everything appears to be more and more about them.

So, many of these young girls have killed off their children or attempted to kill off their children for the sank of some love interest… or because they were tired of being tied to their children… or whatever other excuse they may have had.  These people are having children without any paternal instinct in them at all.  I am not necessarily talking about Relisha’s mother… because I do not know her… nor do I know the situation that drove her to seek shelter with her children in a shelter.

Based upon the article a janitor working at the shelter where this little girl, Relisha Rudd, lived with her mother… a place where they have been living for the past 3 years.    The janitor befriended the mother who allowed him to take her daughter off… away from the shelter (on perhaps more than 1 occasion).

That was more than 3 weeks ago now… Relisha was never returned to the shelter… and it has since been discovered that the janitor killed his wife.  And then later somewhere… or where he killed his wife…  he took his own life.

And the story kind of ends there… except for the fact that they are searching for Relisha.

The police are out searching for her the little 8 year older who was allowed by her mother to go off with 1 of the shelter janitors.   A 2nd grader who lived in an old Washington, DC deserted hospital turned into a shelter for families.  A news article said…  ‘place said to be filled with bedbugs and no playground.’  It probably smelled… and an overall feeling of complete destitution abounded there.

I cannot imagine what it is like to be forced to go live in a shelter.  It seems to be the last resort for those forced in that situation… next to just plain living on the street.  And many people chose living on the streets if they can… because I have heard them say that the shelters were not safe.

I don’t know this child’s mother.  But as a mother I would not ever have allowed my daughter big or small to go off with some man.  Sometimes when we sit in situations of desperation we might do anything… that under ordinary circumstances we might not allow.  I have no idea what could have been going through this mother’s mind.  The first thought that would have come to me… was ‘why was this person so interested in my daughter?’

There are mothers who will turn their children over to people… because they have an interest in that person.  And the person’s interest in their child gets them attention from that person… because of their interest in the child.

I once knew a mother who used her children like that.  Not being worldly I really didn’t really know what was going on at the time… it is over a period of years that I now realize what I had been seeing.

This woman had a very attractive young daughter who she used to take to the club with her… a lesbian hang out.  An older lesbian woman… much older lesbian woman became interested in the woman’s daughter… who at the time may have been 12 or 14.  I am not sure as I did not know the family at the time.  I can only bear witness to what I saw when I came to meet them.

The older woman was about in her 40’s … approaching 50  at the time she took up becoming involved with the woman’s daughter.  This meant obviously perks for the mother and the daughter.  At some point the young girl started living with the older woman…  I met the daughter when she had moved back into her mother’s house… by this time the girl had developed her own mind and didn’t just want the older woman but wanted to play around with other woman… young girls etc.   She was exceedingly pretty… and knew it… everybody was chasing her.    The old woman truly cared for her and bought her everything the young girl wanted… clothes and everything she owned…  even after the young girl moved out and went back to her mother’s house.  And that young girl was very well dressed from head to toe.

When I met them their lives were different from what I was accustom to.  The mother’s house seemed like Madison Square Garden to me… or Penn Station.  People were coming and going from the mother’s house all night long.  It was like the local drop in center.   It was not until later that I noticed 1 of the younger sons answering the door… which usually was unlocked and people just walked in.  But the young boy sold the person some drugs.  I was taken aback by it.  I had never seen such a thing before… and a young kid doing it.  He was probably all of 9 or 10 at the time.

I was clearly out of my element at the time… way out of it.  But going back to the young girl who at the time I met her… I thought she was 17 or 18…  later I came to find out she was only 15.  But thing was when you entered her mother’s house and then stepped into her room it was like stepping into another world.  Her room was like night and day to her mother’s house… because of how that older woman cared for her… by that I mean ‘took care of her.’  She had everything in her room… she never had to leave it.  She had a refrigerator… and I don’t know what else now.  Can’t remember…  all I remember is the shocked I had when I stepped in the young girl’s room in her mother’s house.

I had seen nothing like it.  She was well taken care of by the older woman… who obviously was so attached to her that she did not mind sharing her with other people… if that was the only way she could keep her.   It was wired…  but the young girl was not the only child of the mother that the mother let people take and do what they wanted.  She had a son… I could tell that the young boy… younger than his sister was obviously gay.  But the mother had a border living in her house.  And the 1 time that I visited their home the young boy and the young man who boarded their were having an argument and sounded like husband and wife.

I never went back to that woman’s house again it was too weird for me.  But I felt sorry for her children… all of them.  So, I would take them out trying to expose them to things that most little children usually do.  I drove them 1 day to the beach… can’t think of what else it has been so long.  But I cannot rationalize how any mother could exploit her children as that woman.  The girl’s mother liked me which is why she invited me to her house.  But their way of living was so foreign to me that I rarely ever went back to that house.  Mother knew that my eye was on her daughter which is why she invited to their house…  but when I found out her daughter’s real age…  there was a boundary that I could not cross and didn’t.  But I got to see a side of life I might not have ever otherwise… a dark side… a side where anything goes… and everything is alright if you show me some attention too.  That I think is how that young girl’s mother thought.

I do know that being homeless works on many people mind… and they become unglued.  They loose it mentally.  One can hardly blame them as the burden of homelessness must be so great… that it could tear most of us to pieces just thinking about it.

When I think of homelessness I often think of the lady who I used to pass everyday when I walked through the tunnel from the World Trade Center to the subway train going home or heading to someplace in Manhattan or going to Jersey.

She sat quietly on a large run to the left side of the wall between the Path and the ‘A’ train.  I have always wondered whether or not she made it out on the day that the airplanes flew into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, on 9/11.  But much like this young girl, Relisha…  memories of that woman many times haunted me.  I often wondered if there was something that I could do for her?

How the elderly woman became homeless I do not know.  She appeared to be very proud.  I once stopped to offer some food and she became very angry at me telling me she did not want it.  And she meant it… as she became very angry and I realized then that I had offended her by offering my food to her.

There is so much happening to young children today.  Every time you finish reading 1 story that is haunting and detestable to you… there pops up another even worst.

It would be my hope that Relisha is found unharmed… but the likelihood of that is bleak.  Perhaps it was conviction of his own conscious that had her kidnapper take his own life.

The story was sad enough just reading that she… this beautiful little child was living in a shelter.

I cannot imagine how many other children are living in shelters around this country or in this world.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the joys of our own lives… that we totally forget or are obvious to all the sadness that is in this world.  And there is much sadness in this world… whether it touches us personally or not.  But we should all be touched …or moved by it to try to help or make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate than we… somehow….

Just saw while looking info on this story that Mickey Rooney has passed.  There was hardly a Saturday afternoon that Mickey was not in some movie on our television.  I guess I could call him 1 of Saturday friends… just like Shirley (Temple) and Tarzan….

Since writing what I did above about Relisha Rudd the 8 year missing in Washington, DC… and though no one is saying it… thought to be dead… as they have on camera Relisha’s kidnapper purchasing large trash bags and buying lye.  Meaning he… if he did… killed her put her body into a trash bag and buried her pouring the lye all over her body to dissolve her away.  My, Lord…

I watched the video below where the mother speaks… and truthfully speaking you can tell the mother has problems.  She appears to be slow… if you know what that means.  She says she allowed the man… the kidnapped to take her because he did not seem to be the type of person who would do anything like that.  Many times it is exactly the people who appear ‘not’ to be ‘the type’... who are ‘the type.’  It is part of what gives them the thrill of doing whatever evil they do… because they know no one would believe ‘they would do something like that.’  I have never once heard a news items where someone was discovered committing heinous crimes or mass whatever’s where no one said ‘he just didn’t seem like that kind of guy.’

I would have to believe that this man may have had an obsession for little girls.  Many men do.  R. Kelly is not the only 1… or all by himself.  One thing that has aided in this kind of thing is the law becoming extremely lax when it comes to filing cases against men or boys… teenage or otherwise… who indulge in having sex with under age young girls.

Once I read a news article about a little 12 year old girl who had to be separated from her 17 year old brother.  The 12 year old was pregnant by him… and she was head over heels in love with her brother who obviously had been having sexual relations with his little sister for many years.  The young girl was so attached to him sexually that they had to remove her from him via court order for them to stay away from each other.  At 12 and having grown up being abused by her brother… I doubt that the young girl really understood the breath or the width of that order… or why it was being enacted.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul.  When I first looked upon this young girl’s picture all I really noticed were her eyes… and the sadness within them.  She looked old… worn… and had traveled many miles….

Myra: This case makes me sick!!! The police should be concentrating on her family!! The last video shown of her was dated 2/28/14 shows her with the man in hallway of hotel wearing pink boots then last week the news reporter was interviewing the child’s grandmother and she shows the pink boots. She was last seen 3/1 so how did the grandmother get the boots?? The school reported her missing 3/19/14 not even her mother reported her missing!!! Then his wife’s body was found 3/20/14 so she knew too that’s why he killed her! The the coward kills himself without disclosing where she is! Somebody knows and needs to come forward’! Sickening

We must work to save the children… from despair… from homelessness… from abuse… from people who really can’t care for them or protect them properly…

Just a few words on things on my mind…. DIVERSE CRIMES… Cannibalism…

It appears that my gospel blogs… or blogs about preachers or gospel music personalities etc.  are infinitely more popular than most of my other blogs lately.  I find that to be interesting.

Though that blog I wrote on that father who had impregnated 3 of his own daughters has been right up there since I posted that blog.  However, that story was sick.  But perhaps you like sick.  If so, then you are sure to get a kick out of this… though I must say it is not funny at all… and really not something to get a kick out of… nor meant to be.  But it appears that these kind of shocking stories today are more and more appealing to some people… and very appalling to many of us.   Here is 1 that  I have been thinking about since I read the story a week or so ago over the internet.

It is about some man in Boston who they tracked down via his internet content.  He was… I guess greatly into child pornography.  He had posted that he was into rapping and eating children… eating as in ‘eating chicken’… cannibalism.  Needless to say I am so happy that they caught him.  But I could not help but wonder if the man had carried out any of what he had posted about.

Based upon his web content and various magazines and pictures of children that the police had found in his home,  the man was definitely a pedophile and also into satanism.  Was it not enough just stealing the innocence of young children more than enough?

What happens in the minds of these people that they allow themselves to get carried away with such deep dark thoughts that take up residence within them for so long… something that resisting them gets to be no option.

Don’t we all have thoughts that can be scary if we allowed them to linger?

One of cousins told me that she used to drink heavily but 1 day she said she realized she had to quit.  She said that  on that 1 day she was sitting in a restaurant and across from her was a mother with a young baby.   She told me that the thought came to her mind suddenly to over to the baby and stab it death with her fork.  She said that that was when she knew then that she had to stop drinking.  And she did.

Could it be as simple as that?

Could all these deviant thoughts… crazy thoughts… frightening thoughts… be cast off of us if we just merely chose to refuse to carry out whatever that insane thing or deviant thing… or crazy thought… or frightening thing that came into our mind was.

I do know that such wild and intensely insane thoughts do come into peoples minds.  Thoughts that when carried out… become unbelievable to those who knew of the person that perpetrated some  heinously insane act.

I know this because such an insane thought came into my head once.  It was around about the time after I had had… given birth to my son.  It was something crazy and lingered with me for a few hours if not for days.  I will not say what the thought was… but for some reason it had me, somewhat.  I, of course, I never acted upon it… but it was a deviant and a mad thing… the though of carrying out an action which came into my mind and spirit.

For those of you who believe in Biblical text than you will understand this statement… though for some of you it may not have much of a meaning if any at all.   But the Bible says, ‘We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities, spiritual wickedness etc…’   It is those principalities… those strange dark forces, that if you are not careful you can slip into… and it will use you like a wet rag then cast you off like filthy rags ready for the fire.

My cousin fortunately had the hand of God upon her life… as did I.  But I think of those who don’t know Him… and have no idea how to break the chain of the demonic spirit that is forcing them to carry out some depraved act… be it murder… rape… incest… cannibalism… etc.

This makes me think of that school teacher… or rather that notorious ex-school teacher… a woman who started having a sexual relationship with a 13 or 14 year old boy in her class.  The draw of being sexually involved with that boy could not be broken off of her… no matter how much the court… our legal system had tried.  She even went to prison… had been publicly humiliated and yet could not stop.  But again and again she would be found with that boy.  I recall seeing a TV news segment of 1 of her trials, as the woman stood before the court she began pleading for help.  She said, ‘I need help.’  That’s when I realize she was helpless in doing what she continued to do with that young boy.

I  doubt that the court or anyone in that courtroom really heard her.  But I did… it radiated at me.  She was doomed and needed to have that curse broken from her.  Courts and judges… lawyers and things like that they do not understand anything like that.  The operate in the natural.  But are some very unnatural forces out there.  But those who are those like me who know the Word of the Lord understand the spirits which can come in and attack people.  People who like me knew what type of real help that woman was asking for.  But she never got it.  Some years later she was released from prison and went back at it… her and that boy.  Though he was older now… and soon she began birthing children by him.  I often think of her at times… knowing that there is no way that either of them are probably happy today.

I, since hearing her plead for help… have always felt sorry for her.  And have prayed that the yoke upon her would be broken off of her.

There are those who are not strong enough … and they have no power through the power or strength… which in these cases none of us have any.  Only through God can the demonic spirits be cast out.   God alone can turn away the evil thoughts and actions that can creep into their minds and spirit.  But they simply do not know Him… the people who do such unspeakable things.  They have no relationship with God.   It is not through any strength of our own that keeps any of us… or has kept us from carrying out some crazy or insane acts, but through the working of God in our lives.

Because such forces are beyond anything that we can personally fight… or ever hope to truly battle and win on our own.  We need God to do it… as we simply do not have the power to do it.  It takes that Greater and Higher Power to handle it for us… to act on our behaves… least we fall prey to the evil that lurks in our minds… as that school teacher and countless hundreds of thousands… probably millions of others.

When you read news stories of 13 and 14 year old kids killing 1 of their mother’s and then prepare to eat her liver… you have to realize that we are in the midst of some very dark times.  More and more stories of cannibalism are coming into the news lately.  There had been a time when such stories were big shockers…stories of people like Jeffery Dahmer.  But not today.  It appears to me that daily something on cannibalism can be found in the news… and it is very disturbing.

For years we had heard of people who were into things like witchcraft that carried out such acts as the drinking of human blood.  Speaking of which when I once worked in the Village, down in New York City… I was ever so surprised when 1 of my co-workers came out with this statement, of wishing he was a vampire.  Near the end of life hanging out in New York City, gay clubs and the Gay & Lesbian Center in New York…  I had become to be weary with all the dog collars and black leather suits.  They were starting to get strongly involved into satanism, I thought.  Whips and bondage had started to take a hold upon them…  dominatrix… S&M was the new pleasure.

It was not until a very attractive women came to Sala Soul 1 night that I realized just how much this thing was taking a hold of them.  The meeting that Thursday night was about S&M… sadomasochism… whippings and bondage for sexual pleasure.  I had noticed that she was dressed all in black leather, but I had not made the connection.  It was appalling to me… actually down right shocking.  I was not prepared for that kind of topic… nor will ever be.   But that woman’s world was the world of S&M.

She spoke about this thing that she had fallen into with such excitement and joy… that it was really hard for me to remain in my seat and not hit the door.  Whereas everyone else in the room seemed to be taken by this thing that this woman was inviting them to become involved in… I rejected it.  It was hard for me to believe that anyone would ever believe that… it was the 1 who was in bondage… the person handcuffed or chained… or otherwise tied up and being whipped… was the person in control.

Come on, now do you really believe that?

If you are handcuffed and have put yourself in mercy of some crazy person with a belt or whip or paddle or some other torturous device… who is standing over you inflicting you with pain… do you believe you have any power to stop that person if they decide…    Well, decide to kill you… or continue to whip you though you cry out STOP?

No, you have no power… to stop them.  But this woman was saying something else.  And if you were sitting on the moon… like many of my Sala Soul Sisters seemed to be that, as they were very engrossed with the topic and the woman.   Then maybe you might have bought that… but I did not.  And nobody on this planet can tell me anything different.

But this is the mind-set of many people… to begin dipping into the macabre… stepping deeper and deeper into darkness.  They begin playing with things and thoughts that take them into deep dark places… where they become lost.

A year or so… or maybe a couple of years later I happened to come across 1 of young women who had been at that Sala Soul meeting on S&M.   This woman had asked a lot of questions that night, and she really seemed more than slightly interested in S&M.  I guess she truly was.   Because when I came across her some time later she was wearing all black leather… the dress code of those in S&M… bondage.  I even made a remark about it black leather attire… and saw a look come across her face as if I had found her out.   She had emerged herself into that lifestyle… and was now 1 of them… and it is a lifestyle… a sub-culture of which even they have their own flag… a nation unto itself… of highly misguided people.  That was the last Sala Soul Sisters meeting I ever went to… and from that point on I began to move further and further out of  ‘the Life’… meaning gay life… being a lesbian.  I began to realize I had less and less common with them, my fellow Sala Soul Sisters.  My thoughts were changing… and at the end I had changed.

I thank God he put something in me that has kept me from totally going crazy… or following every insane whim that came into my mind.  I had limits and barriers that I would never cross because of my early child training.  Training does show up… and Biblical scripture is true.  Train up a child in the way that it should go, and when he is old he will not depart.

Well, so much for that…  just thought I would drop in and share a few words.  Hope all is well with you… and that you continue to enjoy the rest of this week.

One final note on that man from Boston who was into rapping and eating children.  He requested that the state give him life… but his sentence is only for a term of 25 years.  I think the Judge should have heard him… and some kind of provision was written that he would never be release back into public life again.  The man obviously knows he has no power to resist the deep dark forces that lurk within him.

GATED COMMUNITIES…and the ZIMMERMAN CASE…

The first time I actually saw a gated community it was a warm summery day, and I was driving around with Mother Rochelle looking for some beach front property to buy.

We were in Coney Island when we came upon it… a gated community.  We were kind of in awe of it… because it was kind of off by itself.  We did not recognize immediately what it was that we were looking at… as it is just not the kind of thing you see in New York City.  And certainly not out in Coney Island ever… least ways I had not.

But by this time Coney Island had been converted into, I guess you could say, some type of urban oasis.  Gone were all the tall brick story housing complexes that used to line the skies in this section of Brooklyn, known to the world as Coney Island.  The place looked totally different and it was hard to believe what had once been.  I didn’t see the boardwalk or the amusement rides… none of it.   It was as if somebody had taken a pencil and erased it… all.

Then that is when Mother and I spotted it, a group of houses surround by a brick wall.  Up until this point… some time ago I had heard about gated communities but had never seen 1… or thought about it when I had seen them.  Because who thinks of these kind of things… gated communities?  I see such structures as just being more or less just  a group of apartments or houses… or housing complexes… or new housing developments.   But this place was  fenced in with wires going all around… almost like a prison.   The houses looked like that they had been shoved in and bunched up on top of each other… and that is what caught our attention.

The houses did not look like anything spectacular to me.  None of them had any real land around them.   Just a group of regular New York style non-distinct houses, of various kinds.  Nothing big or fancy.  Nothing that looked rizie… just plain common ordinary houses.  Nothing to brag about.  But they were fenced in by this brick wall that went all the way around it.

I remember saying to Mother, “Look Mother, a gated community.”

I was surprised to see it… and especially in New York City… and Mother was too.  And even more especially in Coney Island… a place where nothing but public housing complexes used to stand, for as far as the eyes could see… but they were now all gone.

I can’t remember having seen 1 public housing complex that day in this section of Coney Island, that I used to visit often once upon a time.

Actually, they are not all certainly gone… at least ways not all of New York’s public housing… otherwise known as projects.  But many have now been transformed.  The old tenants moved or were forced out by the city of the developers, who had come in to possess this waterfront section of Brooklyn,  known as Coney Island.  And the buildings that those people all once used to live in have become condos and co-ops, which are very popular in New York City among those who can afford it.  Or they were torn down totally.  And that was what Mother Rochelle and I were looking at… an area where all the old housing complexes were totally gone.

But while writing my blog, THE ZIMMERMAN CASE WHAT A FARCE, I had heard in 1 of the YouTube videos that I put into that blog… how Zimmerman’s gated community had had a few recent robberies.

In 1 of those videos…. 1 of the homeowners, said to have been 1 of Zimmerman’s neighbor in the gated community… he commented on how a couple of the houses had recently been broken into and robbed.  How Zimmerman had stopped robbers from breaking into his house.  And he also stated this was the reason for why Zimmerman should have been on his guard for any suspicious characters in their neighborhood… being that Zimmerman was Captain of the neighborhood watch.

Since having heard that I have been thinking…  Gated community… neighborhood watch?

Didn’t people move into gated communities for security?

Isn’t that the purpose for gated communities coming about?

Then why did Zimmerman’s complex… being that it was supposed to be a gated community need to have a neighborhood watch?

Something was not working here.  Either the police in Sanford were not doing their job.  Or the gate… usually some type of high brick wall… wasn’t working either.

Or maybe these people were just lying.  Maybe they hadn’t had those break-ins.

I would love to see the records regarding break-ins in Zimmerman’s neighborhood.  And I would love to know exactly how long their neighborhood watch had been in effect?

Were these just a bunch of fearful people?

I mean who else would elect to live in a gated community… except for people who are fearful of the world around them.

The gate in gated communities is meant to keep out certain elements.  These elements usually mean… the wrong kind of people… drugs and the woes that the rest of the world has to face simply by living among them.

Was Zimmerman’s complex actually under attack by the outside world?

If outsider’s were coming in… which as stated by the man in that video… some young black men robbing them… who was letting them in?

Most gated communities have security… mostly at the main entrance gate if nowhere else.

When I was in Altamonte Springs a small Florida town not far out from Sanford, where Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin… I recall visiting a friend whose parents lived in such a complex.  While driving into the complex upon her directions to me… I drove through the front gate and up to her parent’s house.  At the time it had not dawn on me that they had lived in a gated community.  I saw it only as an up-scale new housing complex.

When you consider it… isn’t it kind of insane to believe you can lock yourself away from all the trouble of the world?

Evidently, Zimmerman’s housing complex had some problems.  Otherwise there would not have been a need for someone like George Zimmerman… operating in the capacity in which they had assigned him… Captain of their neighborhood watch.

What were they paying all that money for… if their gated complex was no safer than that of the people on the other side of their wall, which was suppose to be their gate of secured safety.

Had none of them considered that the elements which lived inside among them was just as dangerous… if not more so than many of the people on the opposite side of their wall?

Because George Zimmerman lived within their midst.

FATHER IMPREGNATES 3 of HIS OWN DAUGHTERS…HAVING 6 CHILDREN WITH THEM…

I need not tell you just how intolerable I found this story… which I happened to come across on Facebook.

I am not liberal in my thoughts concerning people who violate children.  I have no tolerance for them whatsoever.  And this particular news item only heightens my disdain.

This particular person is a man… if you care to call him that… a father, if you care to even half way call him that… who lives in Patterson, New Jersey.  He at some point was very involved with the group that Lauren Hill emerged from, the Fugees.  He was said to have been the music video producer of 1 on their videos, Killing Me Softly.

But here is the story in a nutshell as I read it.  The man’s 12 year old daughter pops up pregnant.  And I guess the mother was questioning the child.

The man then told his wife, ‘I think the baby is mine.’

He what????

He said, “I think the baby is mine.”

It is not amazing to me how bad you begin to look when you begin to do the unthinkable.  How 1 lives with themselves knowing that they have gone into forbidden territory is beyond me.  There is no way this person could have thought that what he was doing was right.  Because for 1 thing he kept it hid for years while making 1 daughter after another… then again and and again… pregnant.

This would be enough to have me on death row somewhere.  Because he would not have walked out alive.  And I am not just saying that.

I recall thinking this sometime after my son was born… ‘that if anyone touched him,… my son… I would go to prison.  And I meant it.

So, then I have to wonder about this mother?????????

The woman has 5 daughters with her husband…  this man… again if you want to call him that…  who had been  a music video director for a video of the Fugees.   Now, 3 of this woman’s older daughters had turned up pregnant… giving them 6 grand-children.  For him they would be 6 grand, and 6 more daughters for him… since all the babies were his which he had with his daughters… and their mothers, whom his wife, their mother gave birth to.

How does this happen?

Then another 1 of the woman’s daughters turns up pregnant.  She was her 12-year-old.

I guess after making that confession his conscious must have started in on him… though he really couldn’t have had  much of 1 to have done what he has done.   But he told the woman, his wife… the girl’s mother… the 12 year old’s mother… the same mother of his other daughters, whom he had babies by already…  that he had also begun working on their 4th daughter too.  A little 8-year-old girl… whom he claims to only have performed oral sex on.

Okay, if you want to believe that.  But a man without boundaries… has no boundaries.  So, I doubt that ‘only oral sex’ thang.   Even THAT was 1 step far too much for someone who was supposed to protect his children… not abuse them.

I really can’t go on with this…  I will have to talk to you later.  I am sick to my absolute stomach with this story.

And these are black folk.

Truly, a demonic spirit and/or spirits were working in that house.  And a corrupt mind to perpetrate  it all.

This man …according to the mother… these young mother’s mother… said that her husband was trying to create his own ‘blue bloodline.’

This story is as bad as the father of the DeBarge family.  The only difference is we never found out until they were grown people.   But their adult lives were as much a wreck trying to cope with it, as their haunted childhoods.  And these stories are not rare as I am beginning to find out just by looking up this story.  Click the links below… it proves it.

ZIMMERMAN TRIAL ONE BIG FARCE…

If it had been a Saturday Night Live skit from beginning to end then maybe it might have been funny.  Except for the fact that someone’s life was grievously taken this whole thing was anything but a joke.

I really do believe that the prosecution… the DA office… should first of all be investigated.  Because this trial was one of the biggest disasters since Ojay Simpson.  From the picking of the jurors to that supposed medical autopsy doctor something was seriously wrong.

Why in the first place were 6 women chosen for the jury, and primarily, if not all of them, white?

One could hardly call that a group of George Zimmerman’s peers.  None of them appeared to me to look in anyway like George Zimmerman’s true peers… whom I would believe to be men about his age, of similar backgrounds etc.. etc..  And on what merits were those women chosen?

Based upon things said by Juror #37 once it was all over… if she can be believed… they all went into the jury pool already with their minds made up before they were even chosen to be jurors.   And some like Juror #37 … I have no doubt also had hidden agendas like coming out with their own book deals and television interviews.

So, just how did such people make the cut and end up in that jury box?

Why would anybody question supposed jurors saying… ‘Knock knock, whose there?’

What kind of jury selection did that of retarded examination of possible jurors bring about?

Maybe the prosecution was just trying to determine who was brain dead from who wasn’t.  And he chose the brain dead.

When you truly look at this case you have to ask yourself was the prosecution for Trayvon Martin’s family… or was the DA office working against them?

When doctor KooKoo… don’t know his name and I am not going to try to find out.  But when that man took the stand… now the whole thing really went into the Twight Light Zone.

Was this man really a doctor?

Had he not ever been prepared by the prosecution office for this hearing before hand?

Did he really know anything about doing or handling an autopsy?

To all these questions the answers appears to be a resounding ‘NO.’

From the moment that autopsy doctor opened his mouth the lawyers supposedly representing Trayvon Martin, the victim in this case, should have entered ‘OBJECTION’ after objection.  Through this whole trial Perry Mason and Matlock were probably rolling over in their graves… and they weren’t even real lawyers.  But I sure could hear some ‘objections‘ needed to be stated.

For 1 thing, the autopsy doctor referred to having conferred with another doctor regarding marijuana.  Objection!

Since the other doctor was not there to substantiate that conversation… testimony of such should have been objected to.

Two, that autopsy doctor came to court with some notes which he stated he had prepared the night before.  Objection!

Here was a guy who clearly stated that he could not remember the facts of his autopsy.  Then why should notes written by him some… what 12 or so months later be allowed in as part of his testimony?

If he could not remember any facts on that autopsy, then clearly any notes written mostly recently would be moot and should have been of no apparent good in this case.  Because they would be based upon his present memory or recollections as opposed to when he actually performed the autopsy.

Thirdly, the autopsy doctor was confrontational… and I don’t know how long he had been in this country… but he kept acting like he didn’t understand English.  So, then how good was a testimony of anyone like that… who might not be really sure about what he was saying?

One has to wonder whether or not the autopsy doctor was paid off?

And if he worked in my department… after that performance on the witness stand… whether he was either performing to be highly incompetent or really is highly incompetent… I would have sent him packing. FIRED!

That guy was definitely highly unprofessional.  And I cannot help but wonder if it was not just an act on his part.

Nextly, one really has to wonder….

‘WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THE PROSECUTION CALL this woman to testify?

Did they not go over her testimony with her?

Did they not know what questions to avoid… like ‘what did he say about the man watching him?’   Her response…. ‘He called him a creepy ass cracker.’

WHAT????

Could that testimony not be any more damaging to this case?

She had to have say that to the prosecution before they even put her on the stand.  So, they knew it would be damaging to Trayvon, for the jurors to hear that.

It appears that the prosecutors in this case purposely set about to sabotage it.  Not once… not twice …but time and time again.

There are various other parts of this case which just do not add up.  Such as why the prosecution did not push further with all those witnesses on Zimmerman’s side which claimed it was ‘Georggie’s voice‘ that they recognized as the person screaming.

We live in a time of vast technological equipment.  Equipment that is able to do voice recognition… voice separation… voice isolation… voice tracking… voice this and voice that…   Including removal of any additional sounds outside of what you are focusing on.  They have equipment that can do just about anything you want it to do… including voice distortion and correction.

So, then why was no technical equipment used in this case to determine who the possible screamer really was?

Equipment could have been rolled into that court and that recording played over and over for those witnesses… recordings mixed with fake voices screaming to see if they could determine the real recording or the fake.  Experts in sound and voice could have been called in to testify… but they were not.  Nor was any equipment used to decipher whose voice it really was that had been screaming.

I listened to the 911 calls with the screams in the background… and coming from years in radio I have a very good ear.  And those screams did not come from a 27 or 28 year old man.  Nor was the voice non-African American.  And on top of all of that… just ask yourself who screams for help when they have a gun in their hand?

Remember, now… that there was no evidence that Trayvon’s hand was ever on Zimmerman’s gun.  There was no evidence in fact that Trayvon ever even touched Zimmerman.  The forensic people found no traces of Zimmerman’s DNA under Trayvon’s nails… nor any bruises on his hands or knuckles.

The other issue in this case was the fact that there was so much 911 evidence in this case was against George Zimmerman.  On 1 recording of a 911 operator, she clearly asked Zimmerman ‘are you following him?‘

To which Zimmerman answered ‘yes.’

That operator told Zimmerman to stop following Trayvon and to get back into his car.   Which George Zimmerman certainly from the outcome in the death of Trayvon… totally ignored.

Also, based upon the merits of that 911 recording alone Zimmerman was clearly stalking Trayvon.  Therefore, Zimmerman was the predator… a man with a gun who approached an unarmed young person, who later was found shot to death by him.  One bullet straight into his heart.

I have no doubt that George Zimmerman perpetrated a hate crime against Trayvon Martin.  And that his call to 911 was a systematic attempt on George Zimmerman’s part to build a scenario for that 911 operator, for circumstances that he would later claim provoked him into the killing  of Trayvon Martin.  An act which I believe came across Zimmerman’s sick mind probably from the moment his eyes fell upon the young black teenage, Trayvon Martin, walking in the darkness of night… in the rain on his way home from the corner store.

The statements that Zimmerman made in his 911 call clearly show a concise and calculated mind working, at setting up a painted picture of the young black teenage male, whom he was following claiming that he ‘looked like’ a criminal and ‘was out to do’ something illegal.  While on the contrary, Trayvon Martin was just a kid who happened to be on his way home from a local corner store.  And it was Zimmerman who was the 1 working with a criminal mind… and a blind intent to kill a young innocent boy.

There are many people who believe that George Zimmerman was protecting himself… standing his ground, if you will.  As Florida has a law called ‘Stand Your Ground.’  Meaning you have a right to protect yourself if you feel that your life is threatened.

Zimmerman had taken self-defense classes, was carrying an armed weapon, and he had aspiration of being a cop and/or lawyer like his dad, who just so happened to be a judge.  Trayvon Martin had not taken any martial arts classes, and was only carrying a small bag of candy and a can of ice tea.  Based upon that… who do you really think was more lethal?

I sincerely hope the Federal Government steps into this case, because the ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law is a very dangerous piece of law.  It reminds me of the ol’ south when white men would purposely go out seeking to start trouble with a black man or woman. So, they would step in front of them or do something to elicit some type of response from the victim, via their coercion of them.  Whereby many black men and women were either killed, endangered, terrorized, houses burnt down, lost their businesses, and/or chased out of town etc…

Such laws as Stand Your Ground were and are not meant to protect all people… just certain people.  And this case involving the brutal murder of Trayvon Martin is a clear indication of that.

What right more or is necessary …or does this law of ‘Stand Your Ground’ give to anyone, that has or is not given already by the Declaration of Independence in this country?

The Declaration of Independence  states ‘all men’…  not some have more rights than others.  It states that all men are created equal… with certain unalienable rights.  And it begins by saying… We hold these truths to be self-evident.  It then goes on to say…. that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Unalienable rights… what are those?

They are God given rights.

The right to defend ourselves is a right given to each and everyone of us.  Whereas, such laws as ‘Stand Your Ground’ are intended  and are only applied for certain people… and not for others.

Back in the days… lets go to the days after slavery when supposedly the slaves had been freed.  Yet, they were not allowed to look white people directly in the eyes.  And often were taunted into some type of reaction for which they may have been killed… whipped… spat upon… mocked etc…

One could hardly say that they… those black folk then did not have a right to respond to such actions to provoke them.  But based upon certain imposed or otherwise implied or ‘understood’ laws, mostly in the old south… laws not written but understood based upon you… meaning black folk… knowing ‘our so-called place.’

Did not Trayvon Martin have a right to go to the store,  and a reasonable right then be able to return home safely without some mad man shooting him down killing him for no apparent reason… other than his skin color?

Where were the rights of Trayvon Martin ever addressed in this case of the City of Sanford vs. George Zimmerman?

If indeed, Trayvon had been straddling Zimmerman in a fist fight.

Did not Trayvon Martin have the God given right given to him by nature, if no other law could protect him… than the law of self-preservation?

Why should Travyon Martin then have been demonized for trying to protect himself against someone whom he perceived to be a perpetrator who was out to kill him… when Zimmerman walked upon him and shoved that gun up in his face?

There was not 1 point or place where you can truly say that the prosecution truly tried to win this case.  They did a lousy job of picking jurists.  They failed to object to various infractions and irregularities as they appeared in this case.  And they never seemed committed to win at all.

If the truth be told this case never should have been held in Sanford, FL… but in some other county if not state.  The authority and connections of Zimmerman’s judge father made this case an impossible case to get a fair trial in such a small little town… with so much at stake, and so many hands easily washed.

This is 1 of those rare times that I must say I disagree with Bill… That is Bill Crosby.  Bill says you can’t prove that Zimmerman is a racist.  Yes, that might well be somewhat true.  But you can’t prove that he isn’t a racist either.  Ooooh, wait a minute…

Wasn’t it Zimmerman who did all that racial profiling of Trayvon Martin in his 911 call, before he actually shot him to death?

That alone gave you a keen insight as to what or how George Zimmerman felt about young black males.  And his actions spoke the rest.

Anyone who would have racially profile someone as in-dept as George Zimmerman painted that picture in his 911 call, of what Trayvon Martin looked like, his demeanor… his supposed behavior… etc.  cannot be considered anything less than a racist.   And there is no way of getting around that.

Zimmerman said that the person he was ‘following’ was someone who looked like he was up to no good… that it appeared as though he’s on drugs or something… he’s black or Hispanic… he has his hands on his waistband (meaning like he was packing a gun).   And then Zimmerman said… ‘these @#!# they always get away.’

In the CNN story below the person being interviewed states that the Trayvon Martin case was not a case of racial profiling, because racial profiling can only take place when someone is involved in law enforcement.  I am a dissenting voice to this theory and statement with regard to this case.  Because that definition can be extended to include anyone ‘believing’ he is a law enforcement officer. There is no secret about George Zimmerman and history of fantasying becoming a cop.

A psychologist should have been brought into this case who could have clearly said that George Zimmerman portrayed certain traits, habits,  and forms of behavior and language  that indicated he felt he was operating as a cop.  When taken into perspective even George’s scio-background, family history, and his history of prepping himself and taking up martial arts etc. all unquestionably show Zimmerman to be a man possessed with a deep rooted desire to be cop, or someone involved in some matter in law enforcement.  Hence, his position as ‘CAPTAIN’ of the neighborhood watch.

It is quite clear that George Zimmerman wanted to be a police officer.  When that avenue did not open up to him… he then tried to study law.  And that failed too.

So, the next step was to join the neighborhood watch.  It is not hard to draw a correlation between that and George actually being a cop on the beat.  George Zimmerman was clearly and unequivocally a wanna-be-cop, and all his actions  and language on the night, in which he confronted Trayvon Martin, attest to it.  And this is not a large leap or even a very short hop to get to.

The other thing about Zimmerman… he obviously suffers from  a feeling of wanting to be a hero.  He appears to be the kind of person you read about who goes to work in a hospital…and awaits an opportunity to unplug somebody’s life support machine… then quickly plug it back in just in the brink of time, then claim that he saved that person’s life.  When in reality he was the person who had thrown the person’s life into jeopardy in the first place.

It is not hard to see that Zimmerman was… or is… a loser.  Perhaps even a black sheep in a family, of what seems to be full of people who are professionally involved in law enforcement in varying capacities.  But everything and time that George tried to do in order to get in… it would appear that he just could not make the cut.

I had a dispute with a friend over George’s weight.  Because at 1 point there arose this question of Zimmerman’s weight as opposed to the weight of Trayvon Martin.  Which of course should have also been a key point in this case.

When Zimmerman finally turned himself in… some 45 days after the killing of Trayvon… it was apparent to me that Zimmerman had gone on some type of crash diet during those days.  The issue was  whether or not Zimmerman weighted considerably more than Trayvon Martin?  Even in the picture of above of Zimmerman being lead into court … you can see that the suit he is wearing is a lot larger than he is.  However, during the hearing walla… a much fuller fatter Zimmerman, and his clothes seem to fit him just fine.  Meaning Zimmerman’s body mass between the time Zimmerman shot Trayvon and the time Zimmerman finally went to trial… shows Zimmerman at his true weight and mass, when the young teenager was shot to death.  But, of course, Zimmerman’s side had good reason to want to dispel the fact that Zimmerman was much heavier in body weight to Trayvon.  Hence, Zimmerman’s miraculous weight lose before turning himself into the police department in Sanford.  Otherwise, that story made up by the Defense Attorneys of a helpless and fearful George Zimmerman at the hands of a Trayvon Martin just would not have played out.  Nobody would have believed that.

So, George had to lose that weight.  Which, of course, as you see in his court pictures that he totally gained back.

Then there is the camera footage of Zimmerman that night following the supposed fight that lead to the untimely demise of a young Trayvon Martin.  Zimmerman’s head had no cuts or lacerations.

If the truth be told there were a lot of ‘so-called’ myths that the Zimmerman team wanted to dispel… and some they wanted to seriously promote.

Some myths about Zimmerman…

• 1. He always told the truth
• 2. His family was full of truth loving people
• 3. Zimmerman didn’t stalk Trayvon
• 4. Zimmerman was really in fear of his life
• 5. Zimmerman feared Trayvon was going to kill him
• 6. Zimmerman was a good law abiding citizen
• 7. Zimmerman had great reasons to believe his life was in danger

Some myths the Zimmerman team wanted to promote about Trayvon…

• 1. Trayvon was a wayward kid
• 2. Trayvon was a trouble maker
• 3. Trayvon was an addict
• 4. Trayvon was out looking for trouble
• 5. Trayvon was out to kill Zimmerman
• 6. Trayvon beat Zimmerman
• 7. Trayvon had a right to be killed

Let me stop right here.  Who has ever seen anybody who fell to the ground hitting their head?

When did they get up with a cut or cuts?

I have hit the ground and have seen people bang their heads and they always ended up with a knot in their head.  Big bump.  The harder they fell the bigger the bump on their head.  But never did I see a straight cut appear in anybody’s head, from someone falling to the ground and hitting their head.

Here again is a big problem that I had with the forensic evidence in this case.  These are the kinds of things that real professions are called into Court to testify about.  But this case had no real forensic people.  No big wig specialist… like in the Ojay Simpson case.

Those cuts on the back of George Zimmerman’s head could have clearly been blown up and recognized as having not been done by some type of fall to the ground.  And lugging all the concrete sidewalks in the world into court could not prove otherwise.

This case had so many missed opportunities on the part of the DA office… you really have to wonder if they ever intended to try this case to win it?

And that answer here again would have to be a resounding ‘NO.’

Clearly, Trayvon Martin’s case biggest opposition or problem were the very people who were supposed to be seeking justice for his murder.

I really do hope that Mr. President, Barack Obama, sends in the Feds to take on this case.  Because Trayvon Martin truly deserves justice.  He had done nothing for which his young life should have been stolen from him.  And by his cries for help… he dearly did not wish to die… or deserved to.

Bill Cosby, Charles Barkley, Shari… whatever her name on the View, President Jimmy Carter… and many others who felt that this case and its verdict was just… definitely missed something.  This was no ‘new thing.’  It is something that we as black folk in America have long had to deal with.  Trials like this one are not new.  And we have come to recognize them when we see them… and know them when we hear their verdicts.

All of this… the trial and the circumstances which brought about the trial are all historic.  Even to the having of some black folk who want to say ‘Oh, it wasn’t racist.’  When it clearly was nothing but racist.  Race had everything to do with Trayvon Martin being killed… and there is just no getting around it.

I was really hoping… as we always do… that the jury would do the right thing based upon the shear merits of this case… and also having full knowledge that Zimmerman was a liar.   Also, being fully aware that it was Zimmerman not Trayvon who had been the provoker.  But in looking back over the court pictures… where Zimmerman does an awful lot of smiling for a man, who should believe he might be found guilty, and have to spend the rest of his life inprison.  Too much smiling in fact…

So, now looking over these pictures and seeing this smiling Zimmerman, it appears to me now that Zimmerman knew how this case was going to go to end up right from the very start.   That is really very unfortunate… money and power play a big factor in the outcome of a lot court outcomes.  But I guess having a father with connections… goes a long way to assuring a favorable outcome.

I just finished watching a video of Geraldo Rivera talking about the Trayvon Martin case.  It is funny how much people change over time.  I thought Geraldo used to be a lot smarter.  Based upon Geraldo’s take on this case, any one of us could have been shot dead and would have been alright.  Based upon Geraldo’s assumption, if we look just like some black guys who were supposedly vandalizing that neighborhood then it is okay to kill you.

Now, how stupid is that… and ignorant?

I don’t know how long the myth that all black folks look alike has been going around in America… but it has.  We know we don’t look alike… but to some people we all look like criminals …murders… crack fiends… and welfare fraud people etc…

Shame on Geraldo.  He must be trying to get a new tv show or renew his contract.  Some people will do and say anything… for a little money.  He must need it real bad…  And he sure looks old.

Guilty by looking like a criminal.  Trayvon was dressed just like most teens dress, black or white… Hispanic or Asian etc… You see them all day long with hoodies everywhere… going to school… coming from school… riding skateboards… on bikes.  When did wearing a hoodie mean you were a criminal?

And though I do not like the style… it is a style for the kids… shagging pants.  A hoodie and shagging pants does not make anyone a criminal.  Much less worthy of dying.  And because somebody’s house or neighborhood is having problems does not mean you go out shooting anybody you think looks like the type who did it.

Where is the justice in that?

I pray justice and peace for the Martin family… and America.

I have to admit that on this topic Mike Tyson spoke saying something that I very much can agree upon… or with him on.  When asked what he thought about this case… Mike said, “I don’t know any more than what I have seen on television.  But I do know that kid should not have ended up dead.”

In happening to catch a segment of The View, they were discussing the trial and I have to say that I truly admire Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s stance on this, and her outrage is truly worthy of my mentioning.  As a mother ever woman should be highly upset regarding the circumstances of this case, and the cruel, brutal and cold blooded murder of Trayvon Martin.

I did… but I have mostly done so on Facebook.

The other reason is I sprang my right foot.   It has been a few weeks now.  I had pain in it before… but not realizing it after I stepped into a hole and twisted my foot that I had done damage to it.   Which while at a convention in Baltimore I had plenty of time in between limping around, and trying to stay off of it… I spent a lot my down time watching the case on TV.  Because there wasn’t much else I could really as my foot was killing me.

My foot is still bothering me.  I understand it takes about 16 weeks for a sprang foot to heal.  So, I am trying to stay off of it as much as possible still.

And the other reason it took me so long to write this blog was, of course, the weather… ALL THIS HEAT.

It has been soooooooo hot and humid here.  The humidity was almost unbearable.  Every time I got up to do the slightest thing… sweat would be pouring down my face… my nose… my brows etc…   I was showering up to 6 times per day.  Because I cannot stand to be sweaty… even with an aching foot.  Yeah, pain or no pain into the shower I went.  But the weather has broken now.  And I hope it stays this way.

I certainly hope you fared well… better than me in all this heat… and got done all you needed to do.  Have a good rest of this week… and I will catch you again soon.  I’ve got to go put my foot back up.

PRESIDENT OBAMA and GUN CONTROL… the View on Chris Christie and Weight…

It is a shame that it took this long for this conversation to sincerely and truthfully come to the forefront of American conscientiousness… but at last it has happened.  And 1 might say several senseless massacres too many before something should have really been done… like a long time ago.

After mass killings after mass killings finally the United States government is taking a stand, and President Obama is initiating laws against assault weapons and hand guns…all of which the Republicans for the most part want no part of it.

Well, I understand when your biggest financial campaign contributor is a gun manufacturer, and you have all those gun lobbyist sitting on Capitol Hill.  Yes, that might sway your judgment about gun control until it becomes a question of your own son or daughter…getting killed in some movie theater… grade school or upon some college campus etc…

I’m happy that President Obama has said enough is enough, and is taking a lead on doing something that the Congress and the Senate of the United States has refused to have taken seriously for all these years and episode after episode.

But  what is so annoying and distasteful to me is how the Republicans hate President Obama…and are so very disrespectful of him.  they despise him. And no matter what good President Obama tries to do… they are against him.   Whereas, no matter what George Bush did…    In fact, it appeared that everything George Bush did was good to them… down to lying about weapons of mass destruction… and sending off people’s sons and daughters to be killed in wars which should not have been.   But they… those arrogant Republicans stood by George Bush… all the way.   Pushed pass everything Bush wanted without so much as a sniffle.  But oh how they cry bloody murder over everything that President Obama does or tries to do.  And then they want to say that ‘they are not racist.’

Finally got a chance to read the above entire article LINK.  Those republicans are a real joke. They can’t even bring themselves to call Obama ”Mister President” or ‘President Obama.’. It seems that uttering those words when referring to the President would seriously hurt them.

It is far beyond the time for the Federal Government to step up into the role of ensuring the safety of the American Public by enacting laws that will lower the availability of guns to the criminally minded, and those who have some insane agendas.  These incidences have become too frequent and they are escalating.  I am just story that it took a bunch of very young school children to signify this point.

I just happened to catch a segment on The View regarding gun control and various methods that can be put into place at schools.  It was 1 of those rare times that I must admit to being totally in agreement with Elisabeth Hasselbeck… who is almost always a voice of dissension on that show… and a devote Republican.

Whoopie, Sharri and Barbara were all for guns being given to school teachers as a good method of curving school killings.  Which is something I find to be totally ludicrous.

Do not teachers go berserk and fall off the deep end too?

Of, course some do.  And then the other side of that scenario is this…

What happens when a student gets a hold of 1 of his or her teacher’s guns?

Or even worst…  What happens when a school shooting occurs and the police arrive and can’t determine who is the real culprit with so many people firing guns?

Because arming teachers and/or other school faculty staff is a very very bad idea… so many walking and carrying guns in school this could very well become a worst problem… and dilemma would arise at  knowing who to shoot at.   In the heat of a shoot out… like out on the battlefield this is not necessary 1 of the easiest things to decipher…  Hence, ‘friendly fire.’

But fear and a haste to make all the wrong choices by putting into place measures that could bring about even worst consequences, than the problems we now face itself  are worthy of some deep thought.  And it is not Obama’s plans that I fear… but all these so-called do-gooders who may have some very flawed thinking triggered by lots of fear… or hidden agendas… all coming… running with their irrational suggestions.

I was not in favor either of arming flight attendants.  And thank God we got over that fear… when flying high in the friendly skies.

It would have been a disaster if suddenly a shoot out  between a passenger and airline personnel broke out in an aircraft… leaving all the passengers in grave danger not to mention the aircraft itself.  And so would be arming teachers or other supposed teaching professionals with guns be too.  The last time I checked that  shooting at Sandy Nook school, in Connecticut where 26 people were killed… and most of theml children under the age of 10… it was the mother (the school teacher of that classroom)… who had owned those guns which were used…by her crazed son.

The article reads that the woman…the female victim was the true hero here…

But, no.  It was the 14-year-old boy who opened the door and let her into him parent’s home who was the real hero…because it was at risk to himself and his 2 younger siblings.

I am, however, sure that his parent’s might have seen this picture entirely different… and particularly since the crazed man, who had kidnapped the young woman, torched their home in an effort to get the young female victim back.

The young 14-year-old in this story definitely deserves to be praised.  But I know his parents must have an entirely different take on this story.  But he saved that young woman’s life…while at the same time putting at risk his own, and that of his younger sister and brother.  And not to mention their family home.

But it was an unselfish act.  And a lot of times people can’t understand unselfish acts…because they only see the dangers in them.

But this boy will probably be blessed for the rest of his life…because he did what God calls all of us to do.  To love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  The text actually specks of laying down your life for your brother.  Something that I know would run across no parent’s mind at the time when they hear how their home and family was put into jeopardy by the actions of 1 their older child.

And going back to The View… on that same show they were also discussing Governor Chris Christie and his weight.  Truthfully speaking I felt a bit offended.  They made it sound like ALL overweight people are unhealthy… which is definitely not the case.  And they also made it sound like only overweight people have health problems… and we all know that is definitely not true.

But what struck me as being somewhat bias was Whoopie’s response to the whole conversation.  She who for many years… if not still… has been known to be a very heavy smoker.  Even while listening to Whoopie speak you can hear the effect of those years of smoking upon her voice.  Yet she failed to mention that her own addiction… the 1 to cigarettes is even far more unhealthy and harmful…if not just as much so… as she talked about all of Christie’s weight wearing on his heart… and would hinder his ability to do the job of a President effectively.

According to the consensus cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, accounting for close to 17 percent of total healthcare spending.  Cardiovascular issues include: hypertension, coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction, per-cutaneous coronary intervention, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure.

Cigarette smoking is a major contributor to the
three most prevalent causes of death in African Americans… heart disease, cancer, and stroke. All people, regardless of race and ethnicity, can become addicted to tobacco and can be damaged by the harmful effects of smoking.

So, what I am saying is this…  Governor Christie should not be singled out and declared unfit… or otherwise unhealthy simply because of his weight.  It brings about an astigmatism that is many times placed upon all heavy-set people unjustly.  Causing many of them to not get health benefits… jobs… and oftentimes ostracized.  Which certainly is not fair and treads upon their civil rights.

It is very likely that if Christie chooses to run again as Governor of New Jersey… tries to leap out into Presidential waters his weight is going to be continuously made a factor.  And that really should not be.

I recall that this guy wrote this book called ‘THE JOY OF JOGGING.’   He was an avid jogger.  By every regard he was considered in good health… and his body trim and fit.  One day while out jobbing the man dropped dead from a heart attack.  I am not trying to poke fun here… but merely saying skinny or fat… tall or short… you are subject to drop dead or have a heart attack.  And yes, I would agree that having more weight upon your body does put stress upon your heart, but so doesn’t smoking or some of those other bad habits like excessive drinking or drug abuse… etc…

So, then why keep talking about this man… Christie like it just doesn’t happen to skinny or fit people.  Because that is a lie.

Now, I do not advocate being overweight.  Lord, no…  I have had my own issues and battles with it.  But I also can see where such a conversation is hurtful, demeaning and liable to bring about discrimination to those seeking  job placement… or whatever.

A PARENT’S WORST NIGHTMARE…Sandy Nook Elementary School

Wrote this on my Facebook page….

“Can’t imagine getting up early in the morning and rushing to work…and seeing my children off to school…only to hear my child’s teacher’s son came to school with a gun shooting to death his own mother…and stealing away the life and breath of my baby as well…and 17 other poor little children unfortunate enough to be that boy’s mother classroom.

And he takes his own life without enough courage to face me…

It has to be a parent’s worst nightmare.  Many parents who sons and daughters have enlisted in the arm services dread getting that call… or knock on their front door telling them that their son or daughter had been killed in battle.

But how do you deal with it when you are just starting your day and seconds into your child’s school session a deranged intruder steps in wheeling guns and begins picking off your child and all his classmates.  Bang… bang… bang… bang… bang…   And the teacher of  the class…  the school principal and other members of the staff and school?

How do you process that your little 5-year-old was just murdered in a place that you thought was safe?

In a place where you prayed that he or she did their work… and did not interrupt the class too much today… and you hoped that they didn’t get sick from anything they may have eaten last night?

How does 1 process that they will not be seeing their child smile up at them ever again?

How do you process that some 21-year-old boy… son of your child’s school teacher deciding that he hated his mother… and father soooo much…  enough to not want to kill them… but KILLED them both?   And then was selfish enough to despise your child and every child in his mother’s classroom enough to kill them too?

The fact that he took his own life is really a non-issue here.  I would not even go as far as to believe that he was deranged or suffered from some type of mental defect.  Because the whole story sounds like one motivated by selfishness.  Because if it wasn’t then what was the purpose of also killing every child in that classroom?

What more than some kind of selfishness could have motivated him… that school teacher’s son to stand there and kill off every little child in his mother’s classroom?

No… I think not.  It cannot bring back all… or even 1 of  those innocent lives which it so ruthlessly took.  Twenty-six people… 16 or 18 little children… between the ages of 5 to 10… whose parents will never forget yesterday… when they woke up their child was alive.  And less than 3 or 4 hours later they were not.

Yes, the gun laws should be changed in this country.  For the strong lobbyist that are so adamant against laws being put in place against guns… it is these very people who are not locking up their guns which become so readily accessible to their wacked out children… who think it fun to go to school and kill a bunch of people.

Between the movie theater… the various schools and now this act of senseless violence we all should be saying enough is enough.

For these parents who children take their guns and go out on a rampage… everything they own should be taken.  They can, of course, never repay for the lives that may have been taken by their child.  But the parents should suffer financially as well… because evidently they were not paying attention …or the guns were too accessible to their wayward child.

It is insane.

Creflo and His Daughter… the 911 Call…. VENUS & SERENA Taking it all at W

When I first heard this story I have to admit that I just casted it off as a plain unruly child picking up the phone and calling 911 on her father…

Why?

Because she could.  And because that is what the law tells them.

You know the law?

The law that prohibits parents from chastising their children.  A law which many times clearly has made parents victims due to unruly children.  Because if the child doesn’t like what the parent has done …or says… all they have to do is drop a dime… or in other words… pick up the phone and call the police on their mother or father… or both of them.

The information when this story broke was that Creflo and his daughter had been in a dispute… which arose upon his daughter asking him… her father… if she could go to a party.

I have heard of many children who wanted to go against their parents … then decide that they would settle the matter simply by picking up the phone and calling the police on their parents.

So, of course… I thought this was just 1 of those stories.  Where a 15-year-old spoiled child decided that she did not like that her father told her ‘no’ she could not go to the party.  So, she therefore picked up the telephone of him… or popped open her cell …and called the police lying on her father… telling them that he had choked her.

That is what I believed and that is how I thought that it had happened.

So, I never felt that Pastor Creflo Dollar had really done anything wrong.

But it was not until I heard his recounting of the incident before his congregation… and after listening to his daughter’s 911 phone call… that I must say that I am not entirely sure that maybe the daughter did lie.

Since I know neither of the 2 parties it is hard to determine what and what is true.  But it was Creflo’s own words and how he just seemed to literally throw his daughter up under the bus regarding the whole incident while speaking to his church, in his accounting of what his daughter said had happened, that stuck me as… hmmm.  He virtually called her a liar and continued to pounce upon her.  And that is what I felt was odd.

I do not believe a loving father… or any parent angry or not get before people and begins to pounce upon their children making their child appear bad or evil.

As a parent I have at times found myself angry at my son… and didn’t like something that he said to me .  But there are ways that parents handle these type of things privately.  Though at times I have had to admonish my son that he needed to tread lightly a couple of times while in public… as since he has reached his 30’s he has at times needed to be reminded ‘that I am  still the parent.’

While speaking Creflo took the opportunity to turn his message on its heels making himself the victim.

There is no doubt that this present system of taking the control out of the hands of parents to properly chastise their children… has made many parents almost helpless when it comes to their interactions with their own children.

It is clearly stated in the Biblical text that parents should not spare the rod.  Without following the instruction of God our children will become unruly… untrained… disorderly… and lack moral standards.  But with proper training… love… and guidance our children will make us glad.  It is Biblical text…

I knew a young mother… she had at lease 4 children and I doubt that she was older than 24 or 25.  One day in passing she informed me that she was having problems with her youngest child in school.  And she told me that they wanted to medicate him… I counselled her against that.

The little boy was bad… and very busy.  But I told to not let anyone give any of her children anything that would alter their mind… because it would rob her children of their lives.  And she told me how her oldest boy had call 911 on her… and how afraid she now was of trying to disciple any of her children in the least.

I was shock as her oldest child, who was at the time was just about maybe 9 or 10… was a very likeable and handsome boy.  He often stopped by my yard to speak with me as he passed by.  I found him very pleasurable… and never would have thought that he would have imagined to do such a thing.  But he had… the that incident scared his poor mother enough into not doing anything for any 1 of them, for fear of 1 of them ever picking up the phone on her again… and her children being taken away.

It is clear that the law against parents chastising their children binds the hands of good parents… people who love their children and only want to see that they do well.

No one enjoys little children who have no training at all.  They are like little animals… and as they grow up to they become even worst.

I was once investigated.  My son and I laugh about it today… but when it happened that thang scared me to death because all I could see was that ‘they’ were going to remove my son from our house.  That would have destroyed me…  I doubt that I would have stayed around to let such a thing happen to my child.

But the investigation was dropped when it was discerned that it had no merit.

My investigation stemmed from my son not doing academically well in school.  So, the school suggested that I allow them to test him to see why.  I was young and foolish then… don’t let the school do any type of psycho-analyzing of your children.  Because they sit in rooms asking your children about everything but what they told you they were going to do.  And that is what brought about my dilemma… my son had not called anyone on me… but the school began questioning  him about me… whether I whipped him or not etc…etc… etc…

Needless to say I have since learned.  I am not the smartest but that situation taught me something… and I learned it shortly after I gave my permission for that school to tell me why my son’s grade were not so good.

How innocent was that?

That nearly had my son removed from our home… and placed into foster care.  There is something wrong with this system… and it truly works against parents… good parents.

I did not stop chastising my son… but I did tell him that if he ever told anyone that I whopped him that I would kill him.  And that is what we laugh over today.  He tells me that I was always threatening to kill him…

“Boy, I’m going to kill you!”

It was kindda the way folks spoke back then.  Most parents said it… but none really meant it.

However, the world has changed today… different kind of parents.  And that is truly sad… and what has brought about this problem.

Serena Williams took Wimbledon winning the Women’s Single…  then turning right around and grabbing the Women’s Doubles title with her sister, Venus.

Venus was turned away in having lost early in the Women’s Single matches… largely due to her illness which renders her to be tired.  But the illness did not stop her when it came to the Women’s Doubles finals match, where both little sis and big sis walked away with the big one together.

I am very happy for them both.  I love their family.  Just love seeing the love… appreciation and unity they all  have… and through the situations and turmoil they still WIN!

Together Serena and Venus have won 13 Grand Slam Doubles titles together… and with Serena’s Wimbledon Single’s win a couple of weeks ago… the have between them 10 Wimbledon Single wins… with each of them having amassed 5 a piece.

Now, how good is that????

Sandusky…abuser, liar, sodomite and destoryer of young boys… and Herman Cain…

Yesterday I read that Sandusky’s lawyers released to the press that the young men coming out against Penn State ex-coach Jerry Sandusky were not  victims… but people who were coming forth ‘for the money.’

And you know what?

Oftentimes, victims do come forward for the money.  Sometimes it might move some who would not step forward otherwise.  But regards victims… are victims.  Sandusky used his power, position and a shaddy charity to take advantage sexually of very young boys.  They deserved to make him pay.

What a crazy statement to make.  Money can’t undo what Sandusky has done.

Of course they should come forth…but all the money in the world will never change what was stolen from those young boys.  They are due whatever financial compensation they can get.

But it will never be enough.

Money cannot recover your manhood.

Money cannot restore your innocence.

Money cannot remove the guilt you feel as a child when someone violates you.

Money cannot replace that which was stolen.

Nor can money reclaim that which was eroded and may have been destoryed inside those young boys, when someone enters you into something you are too young to even understand.

There is no doubt that the man was… or is a pedophile.  He destoryed lives… and people knew about it and turned blinded eyes on it.  They should all go down.

It was criminal.  And no one reported it.

In this kind of thing  …and for the number of years that Sandusky had been involved with young children… I am sure that there are many more victims.  And if the truth be told… I believe that Jerry probably had a few of his friends involved in it too.

Truthfully, it would not  surprise me if a ring of pedophiles becomes exposed before this whole story wraps up.  A ring of others involved that includes other football personnel from Penn State… and professional staff… and possibly even players on the Penn State teams too.

The world of pedophiles is very large… and encompasses all kinds of unsuspecting people.  Men from all walks of life… who love little boys… and the younger the better.

N.A.M.B.L.E.R. is a national association of men who seek out young boys for sex.  In fact its initals stand for National Association of  Men and Boys etc… etc… This organization is large.  And their motto is ‘eight is too late.’

Sick isn’t it?

In reading some of the articles that are now surfacing on this story about complaints against Sandusky at least 1 mother some time ago contacted Penn State… when her son came home with wet hair.  She called the campus officals complaining that Sandusky had done something to her son.   So for some time the powers that be upon the campus of Penn State knew.  Not only did they know but they also allowed Sandusky to do his thing in their locker rooms and showers upon their campus… knowing what he was doing.  And they never tried to stop him.

In almost all cases of predators… whether  a school teacher, coach, Boys Scout leader, preacher, priest etc… they seek out victims of a certain nature.  Usually children without a father… or come from troubled homes… underprivilged and/or minority children etc.  Children who cannot help themselves …or come from parents who do not have resources.  And so it was with Sandusky… and his fake little organization that had been supposedly set up to aid underpriviledge children.

In reading the Washington Times article on this story… it states that Sandusky lived only a mile away from an elementary school.  People who are into children sexually… try to get as close to them as many ways as possible.

I recall as little child when walking to school how the cars were lined up just a little beyond the school yard… with white men trying to intrigue us into their cars.  And I say ‘white men’ because I cannot remember seeing any vehicles with black men or any other race doing it.  But I do know that all races have sexual offenders …and those who seek out little children.

Because even though the cars awaiting us on our school block just outside of our school yard were white men… I had encounter Hispanic men… and black men quilty of doing the same… trying to entice little children to lure them into sex.  I eventually did become 1 of them that got lured.

But once while working in Jersey… I was on the bus riding somewhere in Newark when I happened to glance out the window.  I saw a black man in the broad daylight… in the middle of people on the sidewalk.  There he was with his penis in his hand following behind this very young little girl… who trying to escape him ran into a corner store.  And that man went into the store right behind her… with his penis still in his hand.

That scene shocked me.  I often lament that I did not get off that bus and go back to help that little girl.  That thought of her …that little girl and that …and that MAN stays in my mind.  And I will forever regret not getting off that bus.

Men travel all over the world to places where they can indulge with very young girls and boys freely.  The child sex trade is big… and I guess exploding.  So many poor children around the globe are being exploited everywhere… even in this country for money.  Some given up by their own parents in exchange for drugs and alochol …and/or cigarettes.  And in poorer countries in exchange for food, housing or whatever else the sale of their little child can bring.

What a curel world.

Sandusky threw himself into things which gave him massive access to a lot of little boys.   Even in the founding of an organization that was supposedly set up to help and aid underprivilged children, Sandusky put himself in an arena that availed more and more little boys to him.  So much so that his organization somehow got parents to allow their sons to go and stay in his home with him and his wife.

And speaking of Sandusky’s wife… of course she had to come out  finally …claiming that she knew nothing.  She knew.

At least 1 victim alleged that he cried out for her to help him… and she did nothing.  Sandusky’s wife would be party to Sandusky’s crimes if she did claim that she knew.  But there is no way that she could not have known… especially since so many others did… and so much of it took place within their own home.  And it appears that after a point the man began to feel that he was untouchable.

When the charges started surfacing… what did Sandusky do?

He called some of his victims to come and have dinner with him.  Who does that?

The next thing that he lawyers are going to claim is that Sandusky is insane… and probably that he was a victim of abuse himself.  They always play those same game cards.  If they can’t see where they can win the cases 1 way… lawyers shift their game play and start saying ‘he couldn’t help himself.’   ‘He was under great strain.’  ‘His father never loved him’… and used to abuse him… or the man down the street… or his uncle.  The story is always the same.

But if this were true than everyone would be a perpetrator… a pedophile… a sexual predator… an abuser of women, children and/or boys.  But this is not so.  And most people in some way or other have been abused.

If you remember John Gacy… the mass murder years ago from Chicago or a suburb outside of Chicago.  He was a contractor who used to dress up as a clown and perform at all kinds of chartities, parades, kiddie parties etc.  When a 15 year old turned up missing they discovered that Gacy had not only abducted him but killed him too.  They found that Gacy had done the same to many other young boys …all of whom they discovered were buried behind the walls and under the floor broads of  Gacy’s home.

We would all say that such a man must have been crazy.

How could he have done what he had done?

And then to have buried those boys… more than 13 of them within the framework of his own home.

Now, that sounds crazy.  But he was smart enough to continue to do what he had been doing for years.  And who knows how long really that John Gacy had been raping and killing young boys before he thought about deposing of their bodies within the walls and floors of his own home?

Sandusky may look crazy now… and I would want to look crazy too if I thought I was faced with the rest of my life behind bars.  But while he was grabbing a hold of those 10 and 11 year old boys… he wasn’t crazy.  He was enjoying it… and worst of all he thought himself smart.

Didn’t say much about it… but it did not get pass me.

That Herman Cain was a real joke.

For a while it looked like the Republicans had decided to run a supposed ‘black man’ against President Obama.  Now, that would have really have been a joke if they could have mustered it.  But poor ol’ Herman had too many ghost in his closet.

The first thing I would like to look at regarding Herman Cain is why?

Why would you even think about running for President of the United States knowing what Herman knew?

Herman knew that he had a problem keeping his hands to himself.

Speaking of which… I have decided that I have really got to talk to some guy myself.   Not Herman but somebody just like him.

Everytime I see this guy he has got to embrace me… and kiss me.  I do not like it.

A couple of years I stopped the guy as he reached for me… saying ‘no.’   And I told him that I only wanted him to shake my hand if he had to make contact with me.

This I did… and I did write about this situation in a prior blog of mine.  I did this after I was standing in a bank line …and the guy seeing me stepped into the bank, and then commenced to plant a kiss on the back of my neck.

Are you kidding me???????

At first it did not hit me… but when it did I was livid.

How dare that man sneak up behind me and kiss me on my neck …like he and I had something going on.  Nothing could be further from the truth… but anybody witnessing that would have believed otherwise.  The Bible tells us that we have to forsake even the illusion of un-holiness.

So, the very next time I saw the guy… here he came again reaching for me… and I stopped him.  And I told him ‘no’  …and I broke it down for him believing I had settled that matter.  And I had.

But it seems that he has totally forgotten that conversation these days.

If somebody told me that something I was doing made them uncomfortable… I would cease to do it.  I respect other people’s space.  But it seems that many people do not.  And when it comes to men and women… men lack a lot of understanding.  We don’t like just any ol’ body grabbing a hold of us… or kissing us.

And why should we?

Why does a woman have to tell you ‘no’ regarding anything pertaining to her?

It would seem that a man’s respect of women would automatically give way to the respect of her space.

But it does not.  They clearly do not think like us.

Men feel that they can do to women whatever they want.

I do not feel it flattering to have some funky man grab a hold of me.

Nor do I just want everybody in this world to come and just freely lay a kiss on me.

Which is something that just happened to me only a couple of hours ago.  Another person I wish would just stop.

With all the various disases going around… all kinds of things on people’s lips… tongues and mouth.  No, I don’t want people coming up and kissing on me.  And particularly people I certainly do not know… or hardly know… and plan on keeping that way.

Having worked for years with men… I am simply not tolerant of a lot of things now.   Like I don’t want anybody calling me ‘baby.’   I listened to them calling each other ‘man’ and referring to each other by their names… but when it came to me…  is was ‘honey.’

I was not anybody’s ‘honey.’  I had a name… and that name was just fine with me.  My parents gave it to me… and called me by it all their lives.

So, why not everybody else?

But it was a way of  degrading me… minimizing me.  And it is a thing which men love to do to women in the work force.

They like keeping us in ‘our place.’

Herman Cain… it was clear to me even when I first heard him speak  …that he was the kind of man I would have never liked working for.  He sounded arrogant… puffed up… and filled with himself.  Narcissistic in every possible way.

Which would account for why he would believe …knowing his history with women…  and how many women who had filed charges against him… why he would think that such a man with ‘that kind’ of a history  …as his would be qualified to run, and be sucessful in a bid for the Presidency of this country.

Yes, that would explain why.

I only say 1 thing… Bill Clinton.

And maybe you might say… John Kennedy too.

Okay, I’ll give you that.  We could include the Senate and Congress too.   And while we are going at it… let us not stop there… but include Governors and other elected officials… police officers… company heads etc…   And we could go on forever… and this list does not exclude women.  Because there have been a few.

Moral standards are not what they used to be… nor are they required it seems.  Why would you quiz and question canidates for certain Cabinet offices in this country… and just allow people with obvious character fawls run for the highest office of this country?

Or any office?

Or run any school?

Or head up any church?

What are we thinking?

How could we be so caught up with people that we are willing to just lay aside certain obvious faults in their moral nature?

As much as I used to feel that I liked Bill Clinton back in the day… that’s slang for when he was President… and/or running for President… the truth of matter is this.  The man had issues.

Herman Cain had and has issues.  And his were bigger than Clinton’s.  Because the man dotted upon himself so much… and saw no wrong in ‘him.’

What an egomaniac?

And lets not negate Herman’s propensity for lying.

“Who lies about things that are a matter of  legal record?”

“Herman…”

Forget ‘999’… it would have been more like ‘666’ if Herman got in.

Now, going back to the game plan.  The plan was to chump up Cain to run against Obama.  Thereby pitting 2 black men against each other… which ‘they’ felt  would split the black vote.  This in turn would allow… ‘their’ real guy…  an outside canidate  to ease into a win, and take the White House.

That was the political game plan of some key Republicans.  It was the way that they were hoping would guarantee a win for them and their party.

Do we really look that DUMB????

We are really not the dumber race.  Believe that if you believe nothing else.

Because ‘you’ had to know that was a game the Republicans was playing …by pretending Herman Cain was so popular among Republicans.

Who were they kidding?

Most Republicans hate Obama.  And they hate him for the most part for no other reason than the fact that he is a black man.

And how dare he be black  …and smart too.

Everything that Obama has tried to do the Republican Party has blocked.  Any bill or intitative to get American moving and back on track they have hindered.  Even down to refusing federal funds to begin rebuilting America’s infrastructure.  All for the pleasure of claiming that Obama is a failure.

But Obama is not a failure.  Failure is something which is not in Obama’s vocabulary.  Nor does he believe in quitting because it appears that the deck is stacked against him.  And do note the word ‘appears.’

I have come to know that oftentimes it not what it ‘appears’  to be… that is what  actually is.  That’s why I do not follow polls.  Learned in my statistics class…  No, it was in 1 of my poli-Sci classes on research… that taught me ‘it is how you phrase the question‘… to get the answer that you want.  Pollsters are paid by interest groups… parties that want to slant whatever their interest is… in their favor by misleading people on a bunch of supposed facts that many times are not true and are meaningless.

So, the polls that showed Cain to be a favorite…

How in the world could you have believed that?

No, way in the world were the Republicans going to put any black man into the White House.  And never 2 black Presidents… back to back?

They would have all curled up and died first.

So, that whole thing about Herman Cain was a myth.  They were never going to let him in the White House.  Not unless he was going in delivering some pizza.

Must say though that it is a shame when men in power be they white or black… or any nationality… sit in power, and chose to abuse the power vested in them.  By proving themselves less than moral.  They have no character.  Cain clearly is a man without character.

If they choose not to say anything else about Obama… at least his character is certainly not an issue.   And his desire to uphold the values of his office, and that as a husband and family man are sure and true.

Well, hope you had a good day.  We haven’t had any more snow.  But it has been cold.  And for a while we had lots of rain… but that is sure to change as we move closer and closer to Christmas.
