JUANITA BYNUM SPOKE A WORD HERE…
If ever I agree with someone I must say that I certainly agree here.
Yes, it has gone much too too too too far the way that many of the women who called themselves ‘saved’ and are a part of the gospel music world of today.
When you see Shirley Caesar dressing like a fool then you truly know something is 
wrong. She was a staple… a solid rock… a rock … a torch bearer. But it appears that she too is becoming carried away with the style and attitudes of the world. And it is very sad.
I have been trying to find that first dress I saw on Yolanda Adams 
where. It was utterly ridiculous that I wondered how in the world she had put 
it without realizing that THAT DRESS was certainly going to start a stir in the black Christian world. And it must truly have done so… because it is nowhere to be found on the internet.
For years now we have known that a vast majority our gospel singers were interested in crossing over into the secular world. They looked over and saw the money… the cars… the houses etc… etc… etc. But if the truth be told the gospel artist who are on top make 
plenty of money some demanding more than $20,000 a show.
I have paid $4,000 for an act to come in to do a prayer 
breakfast. Well, almost we haven’t seal the deal. I expanded it into doing a concert later that evening. Because I just could not see myself paying anyone $4,000 just to show up at our prayer breakfast… and then 
have to fly them in and put them up in a hotel too without getting the full benefit from my investment.
But gospel artist demand a lot of money. I once over heard my past mumbling after having brought a certain, used to be a bit heavier and fuller breast, gospel singer in. She demanded a limousine and to stay in a 5 star hotel.
They want to be treated like rock stars… super stars. Oh, they bring the anointing… 
Well, some of them. But are they really worth the big ticket many of them want to demand. I think not.
But it is not a matter of the money which this blog is about… but about their matter of dress. And it speaks volumes.
The Bible tells us to ‘come out from among them.’ And ‘to be ye 
transformed.’
Then why are some many of our gospel artist negating ‘the word’ to want to become more and more like the world?
It is hard to believe that today we see many gospel female artists who want to dress like Lil’ Kim or Nicki Minaj.
What happen to dressing in a way becoming to a woman… not like a woman
trying to sing and sell her wares too? Because that is very much what it looks like.
They are exposing their breast… their shoulders… thighs… legs…. and 
everything else.
They are getting implants… breast implants… hip and thigh implants etc. all designed to make them look more voluptuous. But didn’t the Bible say that a woman should be modestly dress, as not to draw attention to her body?
But the flesh is alive and well sadly in the gospel world. And it appears that the more these women show of it the 
happier they are about it.
SMH…
I didn’t think it was robbery how Mahalia Jackson used to 
dress… or any of those old gospel women groups. Even Shirley Caesar… somebody I would have never believed would be trying to follow the ways of this world… is getting into the act, and looking like she enjoys it.
But if the truth be told this trend is showing up in their music too. Most the music that comes out today is just plain garbage. And I don’t know who told these 
so-called song writers that pulling a few words of scripture from Psalms and singing over and over and over and over and over… is really a song or song writing.
What Rev. Timothy Wright’s wife did with ‘Jesus Jesus Jesus’ cannot be duplicated. And we are told in scripture that there is nothing like the name of Jesus, and this song certainly proved that because I never have to think about the tone 
or key to sing it… and I feel the power in that song whenever I hear it.
But this other mess or repetitive words is just plain junk for the most part. It has no power and touches nothing down deep inside
you. It is a key change after key change without any real meaning or significance… not really worth singing and definitely not much worth hearing. Because there is usually nothing to these songs at all but a waste of time.
I am sorry to see our real song writing in the gospel music world take a decline… and a back seat to this junk of repetitive words which have no anointing whatsoever… outside of
Rev. Timothy’s Wright’s wife song. It is kind of odd that not much after she had written this song that that 
fatal accident coming from A.I.M, a Church of God in Christ convention held that year in Detroit… took place in which God took her and a grandson… and not long after her He took the Right Reverend Wright too. But what a song… and songs they left us with. And also a firm belief in God… and a knowledge that they were ‘real religious people of God’... not like many of these perpetrating gospel singers ‘wanna be’ secular people of today.
Well, God bless…. Well, it is wet here but my cousin tells me that they are in for snow today. But it is spring and we are just a couple of weeks away from Easter.
So, let me be the first to wish you a happy and safe Easter. What a grand time it is as we move forward to celebrating the purpose our Lord and Savor and… to lay down his life that he would rise again… so that we all may have a right to life over death.

SADE’S DAUGHTER…. GAY AND OUT…
I would be the last person to criticize or make a mockery of anyone’s child, as I too am a 
mother of a gay child. The irony of it all is that I too was once gay… or as I like to say, ‘I was in the life.’
So, coming to grips with my son being gay should have been an easy thing for me right?
Wrong. 
It worried me. It plagued me. And at times in the beginning shamed me. I went through the whole gambit of emotions trying to deal with it mentally. And truthfully speaking just did not want to accept it… and I still don’t but for other reasons I will get to later in this blog.
But through it all my love of my son never tethered. I have always loved him. In fact, I will go as far to say, ‘That I even adore him.’ And I have always recognized that he was a far better person than his mother.
I recall while teaching several years ago there was a young male student that sought me out to talk to me about his relationship with his family. His family was made up of Saved people who rejected him. They made him feel bad about himself and about the lifestyle he had gravitated toward. He felt trapped because he loved them… but could not deny his sexuality
He was a handsome boy… smart and I could tell that he was kind and loved his family deeply. But their feelings towards him tormented him. They were pushing him away… and
out of their lives. They didn’t want him in their house. And I guess it is fair to say that the very sight of him made them sick.
What a shame. They obviously did not know …or could not see the type of person they had really birthed into this world. Because he was worth celebrating… and not rejecting.
While in the life I had encountered many gay guys with similar stories of rejection. Many covered up their alternate lifestyles… or attempted to 
…or so they thought. Because they did not want the rejection… someth
Many fell away from the church because the church laughed at them… made jokes about them and ‘limp 
wrist.’ The church turned its back on them and attempted to make them hate themselves. In response to that many became drug abuser…
started drinking heavily… and many even attempted and did commit suicide. And then there were those who broke down mentally and began having mental problems because of the rejection, and the feeling that they had let 
down their families.
I have seen many sad and lost gay men and women who suffered the pains of family rejection… church rejection and community rejection. In those days there were not gay people all over the TV like today… or all these Hollywood stars walking around proclaiming their gayness as we 
see today. Or all these anti-gay laws as we see today… or legislation of gay rights and gay marriages etc..
But back in the day there were just a lot of lost souls seeking to find themselves, who seemed to only find 1 place where they felt they really fitted… and that was in the gay lifestyle. Being gay… and I was 1 of them.
Oh, yes… I was 1 of them. I’m free today …and of that yoked of bondage that had once had me bound… but many still are lost. And because of all these new acceptances such as the changing of one’s sex… this whole thing has gotten more and more crazier. And it has fooled a lot of them into believing by doing all these crazy things they will find happiness.
The devil is a liar… and the great deceiver.
I came out of the life when S&M started to become the big rage. More and more gay people were slipping into the bondage thing… and I could just not wrap my head around that. It was not for me. I could not see me allowing anybody to tie me up or handcuff me… or otherwise rendering me helpless
while they beat me and did whatever else they wanted to do to me. I could not see the intrigue in that sexually or any other kind of way.
During my time in the life there had always been cross-dressers, drag queens, transvestites etc. But this thing of wanting to become and man if you are a woman ….or a women if you are a man may not be new. But it certainly was not popular. 
And that is what it is today… popular. And it is very popular … as popular as people tattooing their bodies or piercing themselves all over the place.
But I did not begin this blog to really talk about any of what I just wrote. I really wanted to write about Sade’s daughter.
When I was in the life… it was Sade I longed for. She was so sexy to me. I 
loved everything about her… including all her music. I bought everything she put out. But then lets face it… her music was good. She was different and had a style all of her own… and I guess that attracted me more than anything else.
I will never forget that for 1 of my birthday’s a friend gave me a large framed picture of 
Sade, which I hung in my living room. And I would often just stare at it.
Yeah, I was crazy… in love. Sade was fine… but so was my then girlfriend, Angela. Where I would have chosen Sade… many would have chosen Angela hands down. And yes, Angela was quite beautiful. She was exotic in many ways. She had a British accent, and was part Jamaican and Chinese. And she was brilliant… and she was the person who withstood me for the longest… 10 years. She liked telling that story.
When I spoke with her last she informed me that she too had found Christ Jesus, and was reading the Bible daily. I was very happy to hear that as Angela had grown up Catholic and had very conflicting thoughts about God and religion. But there was 1 thing she had said 
about me… she knew even then… that 1 day I would become woman of God. I guess there was something about me… and it had to do with my training. It was the fact that I grew up in the church… and that training kept me from crossing certain lines… such as drinking or doing drugs… or smoking etc. Where many had been rejected I was not because I did not look a certain way. I could pass… and no one except keen women who were also in the life could spot me.
But I did not cuss or live a riotous life… and I knew nothing about living badly, as my parents were real church people… loving and caring… and giving unto others church people. So, they were my role models… and 
there was 1 thing about them. They never ever spoke to me about being gay… and I never ever flaunted anything like that in front of them… though they never restricted me in being me.
So, Sade’s daughter is gay. And by looking over the pictures of 
her and her daughter I can tell that Sade, who took time off from her career as a recording artist for a few years to give birth and begin raising her daughter… that Sade never once thought to reject her daughter.
Seeing pictures of Michael Jordan and his daughter, Jasmine…he too seems to be an accepting father
of his child. She is quite attractive… they both are Michael’s daughter and Sade’s daughter. And Magic’s son, Erwin… after having lost over a hundred pounds is quite handsome himself.
Many people can’t deal with sexuality issues and their children. Everybody at some point has had to battle through something. Many adults … parents often forget the headaches they caused their parents… and the many sleepless night they took their parents through when it comes time to deal with their own children.
In life people are always in a state of transformation. Their taste in food changes… clothes changes… thoughts on various subjects change… and they change… they mature… they gain wisdom… and if all goes right they discover who they really are. This is why I am so 
anti-sex changes… because I understand clearly the changes that people go through from their early stages to their latter stages… and no one is ever 
the same or thinks the same way.
I sometimes go back and look up old gay friends on Facebook and I can truly say… I am so thankful that I am no longer in the life. They seem so old to me… so sad… and seem to not have grown. We look different… them and me. But then the hand of God is upon my life and has always been.
As Sade’s daughter travels through this life it will be interesting to see the changes and turns her life will too take… as well as Michael Jordan’s daughter and Magic’s son. There is
this old song that Donny Hathaway used to sing called ‘Everything Must Change.’ And it goes on to say ...’nothing remains the same.’ That is BUT ‘God.’
And the great thing about God… He loves us all… no matter what pit we happen to fall in. And He is able to reach down and bring us all out.
I no longer fantasy over Sade. Nor do I listen to her music. I’m on a different path… and as my parents prayed for me… I too pray for my son that God does the same for him as He did for me. And I pray for my friends and the many many many others who are lost. It doesn’t matter what they may or may not be in… but if they are not walking in the steps which God has ordered then prayer is the most powerful tool we can use to help… with the hope that God too will favor them and call them out from among them.
God bless… I’ve got to get out of here now. Somebody is probably going to write me saying I thought this blog was supposed to 
be about Sade’s daughter. And to a degree it was…

BRIAN CARN….A FO’ REAL FAKE PROPHET…
It is hard for me to believe that most of you had not realized this thing about Brian Carn before until this controversy about him has come about.
From the very first time I ever saw and heard Carn preach on television I knew just who and what he really was… a con man trying to play holy and very prophetic.
Carn has always come off as a phony to me… even when watching some of these videos on youtube on Carn being outted as a fake prophet now…when supposedly he is speaking in tongues the guy doesn’t even try to pretend like he is really speaking in tongue… that heavenly language… but just speaking in some kind of mumble jumbo he has made up.
It is pathetic how people …people like Carn who want to use the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ as some type of play thing… by choosing
to use the church and God’s gifts in such a way that is so low and underhanded… all for 
personal gain… the love of money. And I mean they lust after it… money as if it were sex. My, Lord…
When I first saw Carn he was a young man. I thought then that he had perhaps been 1 of those young kids reared up in the church like what we see today. Somebody at a very early age that someone or some people… 
namely his parents or some other family member began to declare that ‘God’s got such an anointing on’ his life. When 
in essence all the poor little child was doing was just mimicking what he had seen done in church. I did it and practically every child I know who has sat in church has done the same thing 1 time or another.
Some woman out of Houston back in 2013 it was reported contracted a vignal disease called trichomoniasis from Carn, a disease that 
causes women to have an itchy discharge and a foul smell… while men have no signs of it at all. Or so that story went. Whether it is true or not I do not know… but Carn who professes to be a man of God… walking in the steps that God is leading him in should of course be blameless.
Well, if that story is true Carn may not have known he had an STD. But as a 
man of God he wasn’t supposed to be indulging in anything that would have given him STD to pass on to anyone in the first place.
But I say if women aren’t careful if they choose to sin with Carn… then messing around with Carn a fear of catching some STD from Carns is not the only they may find themselves with. Because personally I think the man is gay… and I have always thought he was gay besides being a false prophet, from the first time I saw him.
Carn wouldn’t be the first man to try to cover up his desires for 
men but messing around with women in order to try to throw people off. It is a common trick that some believe they are smart enough to pull off… loving men while making it seem like they love women.
The other thing about Carn is if you have watched the people… or rather ‘the type’ of people
he has consistently surrounded himself with… a bunch of other false prophets should have spoken to most people long time before this that Carn too was a fake.
Carn often could be seen on television programs with people like 
E. Jordan and his son Massansah… Rod Parsley… Benny Henn… and that list goes on and on.
Recently I heard Brian Carn give a list of supporters on periscope who have rallied behind him in the wake of this mess. With Brian Carn getting caught stealing the predictions from some 
woman…some call a witch or self-professed psychic… a woman who claims to 
be in alignment with familiar spirits…reads tarot cards and things like that. No big names mind you… because the truth is painfully obvious… Brian did it. And that is the reason he can be kept crying on some of youtube videos where is trying to explain this thing away.
Why would a supposed man of God being stealing the predictions of a psychic to give out to people …unsuspecting followers of his at some supposed prophetic event as him prophesying things to come in the future about 2 years ago.
After watching a series of youtube videos on this matter I couldn’t find videos that a better job at exposing this story of Brian Carn and his true lack of spiritual abilities
than Lexi’s periscope video on him.
Now, Lexi Allen was …and as I just found out… still is a host on the Word Network. She at 1 point had had her own weekly TV show on the Word… I forget what it was 
called but it was later taken over by Bishop George Bloomer, a man who has his own demons to deal with, if the truth be told. And she took that show over from Bishop what’s his name … a guy originally out of Delaware.
Oh, yeah… Gregg Davis. Another person who is highly questionable.
The way Lexi pounced upon people who did not agree with her on her periscope treading as she busted Brian as a fake … well, it really rather shocked me. It was a 365 degree turn from who she portrays to be while sitting on the Word Network as a gospel artist and/or 
religious television host.
Though Lexi tells it like it is concerning Carn and his fake supposed 
prophetic gift… I was totally really taken aback by Lexi’s periscope style and own attitude… and her use of the ‘N’ word and I think an occasional curse word or 2 in her attacks on viewers responding on her periscope channel, 
and the rage at which she personally attacked Carn for 
having diss-ed her girl Le’ Andria.
Now, I’ve been looking for Carn’s periscope attack on Le’ Andria… but have only come across partial statements on various videos by Carns where he is try to back track his own situation by making certain references to ‘preachers passing out condoms and cigarettes.’ Well, everybody
has to know by now that is a direct reference to Le’ Andria.
It appeared to me amazing that she would be totally against Carn as being a fake… and yet be so pro Le’Andria and all her antics. How can 1 uplift 1 sinner and dross another was a mystery to me?
Both Le’Andria and Carn need to fall down and beg for forgiveness. And if the truth be told… and she may not like it… but Lexi too. And call me what you may… but Lexi you too… because you 
are no better and your tone and language on your video proves that as much as Brian Carn and the footage of him giving that woman’s predictions… and Le’Andria going out on the street dressed as a prostitute handing out cigarettes and condoms. All is in error.
They are all pretenders. Pretending to be holy… righteous and yet unclean vessels. There is no partial walking with God. You are either all in… or all out. Whether on the television screen… or standing in a 
sanctuary… if you profess to be holy it requires a full time commitment. There is not
thing called ‘half-time saints’ or prophets… or pastors. All this faking must stop… and it must stop on every level. And knowing scripture or Bible or having grown up in the church is not going to help… because sooner or later the masquerade is over… Brian, 
Le’Andria and Lexi.
All I can say is get right with God. Get a right relationship with God… and stop trying to fool others… while only fooling yourselves.
It amazes me after all of this… and it cannot be denied. That after Brian Carn stole those predictions from a woman who played with predictions and familiar
spirits… as in Lexi’s video exposing him speaks for themselves… that there are still 
people willing to follow Carn. This is worst that being just plain gullible… it is plain stupid. Why are people willing to be so mislead by people that cannot rightly deny whatever they got in?
In the case of Brian Carn … he now professes to prove he gave those predictions on his own… and that he has never stolen anything from anybody especially a witch.
Oh yeah, right, Brian. On this I must agree with Lexi… ain’t no way.
I personally do not see how anyone became so captivated by Brian Carn in the first place. 
Because it was not hard to see that he was a fake. But then the Bible tells us that the people have itchy ears and are drawn to many ungodly things. That those things are more easily grasped by them than the truth or someone who is not fake. So many rather follow false 
prophets… false pastors (Le’Andria)… false teachings …than to follow the truth. And so many are still following Carn regardless of what has been brought to light on him and his fake prophetic gifts.
Well, God bless… it’s time I got to down to some other things I have to take care of right now but hopefully you 
will have a beautiful 
day. It is not as cold as it was yesterday here… but a bit damp. But I love the rain…

Le’Andria Johnson and the Church… Preachers of Atlanta
To tell you the truth I really don’t know much about her but…
Well, I had heard she won Sunday Best and I have seen a few videos on youtube of her, but other than that I have really had not had much to say about her. But then this new show came along this fall on 1 of the networks, Preachers of Atlanta.
After watching a couple of episodes of it and then listening to some reviews of the show on 
youtube… and watching Le’Andria let down her hair. And I do mean…’let down her hair,’ with a for real ‘I just do not care what you think attitude.’
All I can say is, “Uh-uh…”
While I was no big fan of the original, Preachers of 
L.A. with all their ‘bing-bing,’ and money being their god. With Detrick Haddon trying to pretend he so Saved and holy, to Bishop Noel Jones and his supposed 16 year old relationship with some woman, whom he may or may not have been going to bed with,
along with that young girl, or much younger women whom he supposedly made pregnant.
But this Preachers of Atlanta is a subtle destruction of the church. These pastors, on the Atlanta version, seem to be a little bit more palatable…with their pretense of ‘We love god…but are a new generation.’ Don’t be fooled. They are even worst… but playing on the down-low like they are not. But that it is all for God.
Yeah, right.
Who ever the producers are of these shows….they are bent on destroying the church by showing proof of everything sinners already believe to be true of the church. Their goal it appears is to not only make a mockery of the church, but in particular ‘the black church’… by tearing it apart bit by bit and stone by stone. And Le’Andria Johnson is their best candidate yet. Well, maybe not their best… because those preachers out of LA… did a job on the black church too… sad to say.
But this woman, La’Andria, is crazy and not shame about it… or to be crazy. She has a perfectly good excuse for why she decides to do… and does everything she do and does.
She drinks…. and can often be seen with a cup in her hand. She swears like a sailor when she gets a notion, as in her ‘periscope’ upload, where she removed the make-uP…and was talking about being evicted from her
house. She has a very ungodly no-holds-barred attitude about everything… and a highly filthy mouth.
There is no possible way I could or can believe that Le’Andria is really Saved.
I also think she needs to be a lot more thankful to God for the wonderful gift He so graciously endowed her with. And then He opened the door for that gift to shine… which she so willingly is making a fool and mockery of.
All of these singers today it the charts and the next thing 
you know they are walking around and 
calling themselves ‘pastors’…. and in the case of Kim Burrell ‘bishop.’ Personally, I don’t understand it. But when I thought about it Andrae Crouch did it and I 
guess a few others.
But I just thought I would do this really quick… and I did. Because this thing with Le’Andria Johnson and Preachers of Atlanta has been on my mind.
It really disturbs me to see the church… and particular the black
church being pulled apart in such a way as I am seeing in these shows. These programs are really undermining the fabric of the church and give an illusion that all black churches and/or churches are 
corrupt and/or filled with leadership which should not be in leadership… fake people pretending to know Bible and to be doing the will of God when they are really just agents of the devil seeking to destroy the church.

DIANA KING… ROBIN ROBERTS…. DEITRICK HADDON… okay?
Now, I really don’t know who Diana King is… but since people have been hitting up my blog page to read about her… I thought I should googled her up. And I did.
And guess what?
I still don’t know who she is. I am not really all into the music scene like I used to be. Somebody says ‘concert’ to me I look the other way say, ‘Oh, I can’t stand the noise.’
Well, I’ve gotten older.
But she… this Diana King does kindda looks familiar to me for some reason… but I don’t know how. I think because she reminds me of this lady who rides the bus… they look similar.
I gave up listening to the radio for the most part years ago. Because when I listen to radio I am literally working. 
When you come from an industry you view everything within the eyes of that industry.
So, when I hear radio… I see the disc jockey… radio announcer (as I like to be called if you have to call me at all)… or DJ… Well, I hear everything you don’t… I hear the segways… the music mixes… their voice… what they say… in ways that a regular normal listener doesn’t. And the same thing happens to me when I go see a movie.
A movie has to be very good in order to draw me into the storyline within the first few minutes of its beginning… other than that I’m looking at how a scene was lit… the camera angle… the type of shot …the sound effects and audio mix down etc..etc…etc..
So, I guess you get the point. I am a professional… and as a professional in these industries we just hear it and see it very different from lay people.
So, this Diana King… at first I thought it was Oprah’s friend. Because you know the rumors about her and her friend. So, I thought it was Gail and not ‘Diana’ King at first that people were trying to find out more about. And I was thinking that maybe they had discovered that Gail ‘really’ was a lesbian. But… the search was for this woman Diana… I got the names twisted.
Apparently popular in the reggae world, Diana is a dance hall girl. I guess that means she shaked a lot of her back side. And ‘yes’ if you were 1 of those looking, Diana did recently come out as being gay.
Personally, with that tattoo in the middle of her forehead she looks satanic to me. And she looks much older than her girlfriend.
Which means nothing to me… because I am not familiar with her. But I will tell you that I was slightly surprised about Robin Roberts from the ‘Good Morning America’ Show coming out. I never quite
thought that about her… not that it really matters what I thought.

Oh, I knew she had once been a basketball player and all that… and many of the women in the league are gay. But I never thought it about Robin. But she too recently came out… having been with her lover for the past 10 years.
Though I must say… I was a wee bit taken back when my girl Cheryl Swoops 
left her husband and married her girlfriend some few years back. To me Cheryl had to have been the all time best female basketball player of all times. I think she is coaching now. But my goodness what a player she was…
I
know you are probably waiting for me to begin 1 of my stories about having been ‘in the life‘… gay some years ago. Well, I don’t think I’m going to say much on it today. Except I had… but thank goodness I am now redeemed. And I am so glad about it.
Thank goodness God desired me… even when I wasn’t thinking about Him.

It amazes me how many comments I have gotten over Deitrick. These women sound like they hate me.
What have I done?
Deitrick doesn’t need me to do him in… he is doing a fine job of it for himself.
He appears to be someone who will do whatever it takes to get you some exposure… good or bad. Nobody takes nude pictures and sends them to someone without believing they may show up somewhere.
Can’t believe Deitrick stuff is all over the internet… if it really is his. This whole Hollywood thing of exposing yourself or some video of you having sex is making me sick.
And that formula works. These people exactly get deals… and contracts behind doing indecent things.

Just heard that Serena Williams just beat another victim on the tennis court. The girl is too fierce… as Patti LaBelle would say.
I think it is marvelous the depth and width of her ability to do what she does… even when she is not feeling 100 … or the ‘nay’ sayers count her out. And that is when both she and Venus really show them what they are made of.

Well, I have over spent my time… time for me to get up out here now….
It has started to rain. A refreshing change to saying ‘it snowing now.’
My phone dropped and broke. The store had me call these claim people for a new phone. They told me that they didn’t have my phone in stock so they were going to up grade me to the Samsung Note 3?
But you know what I really liked my phone. And particularly after I went and checked on the cost of my phone… which the woman told me was 3 hundred and something… and this new up-grade was 6 hundred and something.
Yeah, but I really like my phone… especially since the woman told me that I would have pay a $150 for this new phone. I had forgotten I had only paid $50 for mines. And guess what… when I went back to the store that phone was still $50. Forget the deductible… I want my old phone because the way I see it… those claims people are charging 3 times as much to replace it. When I can just walk into the store and buy it again at the $50 price.
Forget the deductible… I know when I am coming out ahead.
So, I have been trying to reach these claim people. And guess what?
They won’t answer.

THE CHURCH and ITS PREACHERS… CHIRLANE MCCRAY NEW YORK CITY FIRST LADY…
Just in from our Holy Convocation I must say that I feel refreshed and excited about the things of 
the Lord. Though in looking around and seeing so many old Bishops and Preachers with young wives and girlfriends… it is hard to believe that the Church has taken such a backward turn. For the most part all I can see is that this new branch or bunch of women that these men have taken up with bring to the table is sex appeal. What happened to man in leadership wanting a wife who could add to his ministry…and not just be something on his arm?
Thank goodness our President didn’t think like some of these Preachers here at this convention. Though I guess you could say that Barack Obama was smart enough to get the best of both worlds… beauty plus smarts. But for some of men of the clothe smarts does not seem to be what they are after these days.
I hate to say it… but some of the young ladies which frequent these conventions are so hot to trout and come in dressed like they headed for the party… and are out looking for whatever old man they can entice.
I saw 1 couple that when they approached me I would never have guessed that they were even together …not at all… until the young woman called the much shorter man… very wide in stature man… older and seemed easily 
tired man and out of breath man– Well, I would never have guess that they were together until she called him ‘baby.’ In hearing that my neck almost snapped as my head quickly jerked back in their direction. I just would not have put those two people together …no way… and no how. But they were. Guess he had money… a big church or something.
It’s funny also because in a way 1 could say that that television show 
PREACHERS OF LA… is timely in a not so funny way. It certainly does not feature such things. Well, maybe it does…but they haven’t got to that part yet… if they get to it at all. And that is Bishop Noel Jones and how he impregnanted a much younger woman.
That show also sadly portrays a direction in which the Church is moving… more away from God and more towards the world.
When reflecting upon Biblical text… you might even say that it is scriptural. Meaning you can find the same thing being done back then in olden times in the Bible. It happened throughout scripture, in fact, that God’s people continually kept moving away from Him.
When you go back to the book of Nehemiah you find that there are some Priests, as well as, many of the 
people who have married outside of the Israelite nation. God told them not to either go in to them or to allow them in to them… or their sons or daughters to go into the women or men of the other nations of the land. But all through the scriptures you find that God’s chosen people polluted themselves by disobeying the commandment of God to keep their bloodline pure. They married into other races and religious groups… got into idolatry… and it was to their doom.
In the Preachers of LA the relationship of Deitrick Haddon and the young lady who had his child… 
can clearly be classified as an unholy union. Haddon had carried on a sexual relationship outside of his marriage… to which throughout the course of the television show Haddon proclaims, as a mere justification for his unholy actions… that he is a man. As if all men have a legal right and obligation to go out and do whatever they want to… with whom or whatever they want to do it with… because they are men.
REALLY?
Show me that in scripture.
As someone who wants to proclaim himself to be a Pastor/Minister… clearly Haddon must know that such talk or understanding clearly goes against all Biblical scripture and cannot be justified by any means… outside of 1 merely proclaiming, ‘I was weak and I pray the Lord forgives me.’ Something which is not anything that Deitrick Haddon has dared to say or announced to have ever said.
In the case of Noel Jones it is highly unlikely that any woman… with any kind of brains under her cap
would be with any man for 16 years and he not marry her. Also, no woman in her right mind would be with a man for some 16 years and still be with him… if he had gone outside of their relationship and fathered a baby with some young girl as Noel Jones has done… and there has been no mention of ithat at any time in their conversations on that Preacher show. And no self-respecting woman would continue to play like a fool for 16 long years with any man who seemed to be so uncaring and lacking emotionally towards her, as Noel Jones to that woman, Loretta, in the show Preachers of LA.
Not unless… Well, not unless he is taking care of her REAL good…
I do not watch the show after finally happening to see the original first episode of it. Not much is really said about the show…among church people. But while at the Convocation 1 night for some reason that network that carries the show kept re-running the same show over and over again. So, I finally did see another episode and it over and over again. And I did not change my opinion on the show one iota as being garbage.
While at the Convocation my path and that of Ron Gibson’s did happen to cross… and it was all I could do to contain myself and hold my tongue, and not tell the man what garbage I thought the show was.
Preachers of LA validates everything that people who are against the church already say and feel is wrong with the Church. That show leads people to believe that all Preachers are scheming and trying to get rich off of their congregations… which is not totally true. Though there are some clearly who this is all that are about.
The show also portrays that Pastors are not really actively in the business of Saving or winning souls from the pitfall of sin. But they are getting rich, ascertaining prestige and messing with women. Which could very well be true depending upon where you go to Church… and who your Pastor is.
Now, in the case of Ron Gibson… he shows us his down and out sister who has been 30 years dealing with
addiction. Something that he says he brought into his family’s house when he became involved in gang life and drugs as a young man. But to me it was odd how publicly he decided to show up his sister as a drug addict with himself as her crusader, coming in to save the day and help her.
After 30 years??
He does this now?
I only wondered why he had not tried to help her before the cameras started rolling… and why he felt comfortable doing so while the cameras were on him… making himself appear to be doing this great thing.
Wouldn’t it have been great that he had been helping her before to kick that habit?
But we never heard that testimony when this is business he’s supposed to be in for everybody and anybody, who needs him to come to them and help them to overcome the demons in their lives.
Another observation I have of Bishop Ron Gibson… is the fact that he claims he is no longer involved in gang activity, yet he sits before the TV camera wearing gang colors and clothing… like a Blood. I don’t know if anybody else has caught that… outside of maybe those in gangs. But I can’t help but wonder about how much ‘out of gang life’ Ron Gibson really is?
Then while I was in the hotel at the Convocation I also caught a commercial a couple of times about 
some black church… another new reality TV show. Boy, are really zooming in on us. This show is about where they help you straighten out your Church some kind of way. What happened to prayer and simplification?
What is it about Black Churches that everybody is throwing our religious institutions to the dogs?
Well, maybe not everybody… but we ourselves.
It appears that our churches are all messed up. and it appears that we are willing to sell our churches, congregations, worship, songs, music, and sanctuary services etc. off for a dollar.
That which was sacred… is sacred no more. We can barely recognize the Church any more… and in 
some Churches neither can we recognize what used to be regular Church services. There is nothing regular about it any more in so many of these new Church under many new young men stepping into leadership. Some of these younger Pastors have a new-skool philosophy on how service should be held… and how to bring in more numbers of people. They have removed the podium…the altar and everything else that remotely looks like the inside of a church.
In some of these newer Churches with young Pastors the congregation stands for the entire time like they are at some type of rally. They jumping up and down like they are at a concert… because for them the service has pretty much turned into an event similar to listening to a concert performance, for the whole entire time, rather than a Bible teaching or preaching orderly service. And many Church pulpits have been transformed into performing stages complete with flashing lights, and everything like that found in a club, used to seduce and entice people psychedelically.
In all this has the Church lost sight… or is loosing sight of holiness?
Has the Church forgotten how to reverence the Lord and His house… and His Holy Word?
If the Church becomes the new club or dance hall where will the Saved folk go?
A new norm is overtaking the Church and that is to not to resist the devil but to use his methods and tools… supposedly in the name of God. So, along comes these shows such as Preachers of LA and everything else which diminishes what worship really is… what real Church service is about… what going to Church is 
really so supposed to be about… and more importantly how to reverence God’s sanctuary… and the things of Him.
When I came in I knew I had to write a blog today… but I did not know what I was going to write on. Guess I found a subject…
Well, God bless… it is nearly the weekend. It is about as close as you can get to it without being in the weekend, I guess. 
And I am starting to get sleepy so I’m on to end now.

Before I jet out of here though let me say that sometimes we should really look deeper into some of these 
situations happening in many of our Churches today. We see on YouTube where some woman punched the Pastor… all the time I want you to know that some of these people make you so frustrated with wrong doing that in the heat of a moment ‘yes’ somebody might loose it.
The Bible says that the Pastors have scattered His sheep. And I do not think we see this happening more and more and more than today. Sad but true. I wish I could tell you some things right 
now… but they are coming. And what a tell to tell…
There is so much going on in the Church that it would make your head spin.
And 1 more quick caption before closing… Just can’t believe my home-girl, Chirlane McCray is the First Lady of New York City. It is soooooo amazing… and I am very very very happy for her. Fantastic person… truly… I know that together they are going to do much needed good for New York City.

ELMO and MORE…continuation of PASTOR’S OF LA my take on it…
‘Awh, come on, Bern. Where have you been?”
A friend recently ask me shocked, as we were engaging in a conversation via the telephone around a variety of subjects. When some how or other the conversation fell upon poor little ole Elmo.
“You mean you haven’t heard?” my friend continued.
Then she commenced to ask me where I had been for the last year, as she claimed that the story surrounding Elmo had been a big 1. Evidently, I had not been reading much by way of the news because when I looked it up on Google… I found that my friend had been right. It had been a big story. A story of sex… underage boys and a Sesame Street employee.
It had to have been a very big and alarming surprising shock to the world of children… and their parents I am sure. Elmo was being sued. Well, not Elmo to be exact… but the man who had… or as my friend claimed to have been the creator of Elmo. I don’t know if he had been the creator of Elmo… but for the last 30 or so years, which I guess had been about as long as the period that my son last watched that
show… being that he is now some 30 years old himself. The man had been the voice of the Sesame Street puppet named Elmo. A man by the name of Kevin Clash.
She said the guy was into young boys who were of mixed races, Hispanic and who had long flowing hair.
In Googling some pictures of the guy, here again my friend seemed to be correct. He did like boys about 15 or so years of age… with their hair a certain kind of way.
I have to say, “Where had I been when this story broke?”
With the popularity of Elmo around the world…
it really had to be a bit of a big shock to hear and then to read this story. And to see pictures of the boys… suing the man.
I totally dislike stories like this… news items about people who prey upon people… destroying young lives …and particular the lives of children… even seniors… or those who suffer from some sort of mental diminished capacity. Or preying upon anyone in general.
In reading over the news articles on the internet all I could think of were those past Christmas commercials regarding Elmo products… in particular the tickle me Elmo doll. Elmo seemed for some reason to have 
captivated both the hearts of children and adults alike… and over time has become quite popular.
I thought of Melissa, a young school teacher friend of mine… whose email address was ‘Elmo something something’ or other. Can’t remember exactly what… which is why I have not been able to email Melissa for quite some time now. But she utterly loved Elmo.
I wonder how she feels now?
Well, I kind of know exactly how she feels… very much like me. But I never was into Elmo… so, I suspect that she has dropped any association with Elmo now. Though I must say… it really wasn’t Elmo’s fault.

But in case you never heard the story either. Sesame Street dropped the guy… Kelvin Clash… and the 4 law suits that had been issued against him by varying parties… were I guess… based upon some of the articles I read on story were dropped due to the statue of 
limitations. Though at least 1 of the articles I read said that 1 of the 4 boys… young men at this time… was paid off in a settlement $125,000.
Shame that for the most part they had no real legal recourse due to the law of the statues of limitation. Tragedies that happen in your life never go away. Ruining kids lives should never have a statue of limitations put upon them to prohibit them from coming back to seek damages, for things done to them to destroy their lives… as most kids try to forget those kinds of things. And during the time of the abuse children do not know anything about having a ‘legal recourse’ against perpetrators… or any laws that would protect them… though nothing can really protect them from such people. And for many it totally messes with their physique as to who they really are… and brings about conflicts in sexual identity.
Of 1 thing I am sure of… child abuse ruins lives… future relationships… dreams… and a sense of security and/or self-confidence and self-worth that children growing into adults may or may ever have.
Now, on to the Oxygen network TV reality show called Pastors of LA… another conversation that me and my 
friend hit upon the other day while speaking on the phone.
She told me snickering into the phone, ‘Bern, I watched it four times.’
WHY?????
That is my question.
Yes, I finally caught it…. episode #1 on on-demand I saw it yesterday evening. And they will not have to worry about me having a desire to see another episode.
I had wondered why it was when I went up on YouTube to see some video reviews of the show… I had found so few of them? As a rule the people who watch these shows like throwing a camera… or their cell phone up on themselves while they give play by play comments on the shows. But not so with this show.
Now I know why. The show actually really is not worth talking about. And I too have to admit… like Bishop T. D. Jakes… that the show to be ‘junk.’ Absolutely and completely… pure ‘junk.’
It lacks any real reason for even being on TV outside of destroying what the Church is supposed to be really all about.
It makes leadership in the Church look bad and in particular… leadership in the Black Church.
People in the secular world already have a tainted view of Church and of most people in the Church… particularly when it comes to so-called Pastors. Now this show only fuels those mis-perceptions.
If ever you want the Black Church shown in a bad light… then watch the Black Pastors of LA. They will do it for you… bound to keep the captives bound… and sinners laughing.
Now what I am going to discuss next my friend, Linda and I did not discuss this story… however, as I just happened to come across it just now. But it struck a nerve so I decided to post it.
Somebody said to me…. ‘You know black people are starting to commit the same kind of crimes as white people.’ It was my cousin… now that I think back on it who said this to me just this week during a phone conversation I happened to have had with him.
If you are white please do not take offense… none intended. This is, however, how we talk among ourselves… as I am sure you talk among yourselves.
But it is true that there were certain type of crimes which black people never ever used to commit… least ways that was the perception. In fact, when we heard that such and such type of crimes had been committed, such as mass murders… or people being buried in walls… or serial killings…etc… we often knew immediately that it could not have been a black person. Least ways that is what we thought…. but very rapidly this has all changed. We are becoming as guilty of committing crimes such as bondage… killing people and putting them in walls or floors (and still be living in the house) as everybody else …etc.

So, of course, this story would leap out at me… as almost all the other stories of teachers indulging in sex with 
their underage students… as far as I had read… were all white women. And now… here comes this story. A black woman… a math teacher… she had been carrying on sexual relations with under age boy students in the school she taught in, in Michigan.
Though as I begin to remember some things… I remember a young college student… a friend of mine… who had been involved with her high school counselor. She had been under age when the relationship started… and it went on and on through her years in college… and I guess afterwards. And they were both black.
So, I guess maybe the story of a black woman being charged with committing such a crime really should neither be a surprise nor a shock to me. And certainly not something that I thought only happened along other color lines.
I guess we are all guilty of narrow thinking. So, I must apologize for my narrow thinking in this …and perhaps many other areas in my life. It is ignorant to assume that only certain people do certain things. It is absolutely not true… and my remember of my college friend and her sexual relationship with her high school counselor certainly proves it. And I think that relationship messed up her entire life.
The girl was absolutely beautiful in her youth… not that she looks bad now. But her youth is gone. And that man eat it up.
I often think that if any of us should have been married… it should have been her. But it never happened for her. And I think it was or is because she wasted all her valuable time on a loosing proposition… a rat. Her formative years were spent hanging on a string… of a worthless predator who stole that part of her life from her.

minute now… as they say sunshine all weekend long.
In going back to the female math teacher above and her sex scandal… I don’t know what goes wrong. But I do know that things go wrong in the mind of women. And if carried out we would all be in prison.
But then even men could say the same. The ‘thing’ is nothing short of demonic spirits… and if none of use are careful or prayed up… they can grab a hold of us all…

THE PEACHERS OF L.A…. BISHOP NOEL JONES and LISA RAYE…
I just had to do it. I thought about it most of the night last night… and decided to not write anything on this subject until sometime later. But here I am… and here I go.
I know all you reality freaks probably can’t wait until PREACHERS OF LA. hit your TV screens this fall. I can’t imagine the mess that that show will be.
It is a risky venture for any preacher to want to take. If they had offered me
the money I would have said, ‘No.’
It might just be a congregation breaker. And if they really let themselves go and show us themselves for real… many of you may not really like what they uncover.
Pastors disagree over new Oxygen reality show ‘Preachers of LA’
So, just who are these 6 bold preachers who decided that they would take the challenge and allow TV cameras to follow them both in and outside of their churches… and exploit their personal lives?
In watching the trailer to the show you get the picture that it is really going to be about just 3 of the preachers… Bishop Noel Jones… Bishop Clarence McClendon… and Deitrick Haddon. But the other 3 are Bishop Ron Gibson… Pastor Wayne Chaney… and Pastor Jay Haizlip… the lesser known pastors.
I must say that I had not really thought much about it since I watch little to almost no television. So, therefore I wasn’t hit with a ton of commercials hyping this show to death in order to set me on the edge of my seat waiting to see it. 
However, it was not until yesterday while looking up some YouTube videos for my blog which I posted yesterday, JESSE JUNIOR… BISHOP PAUL MORTON RETIRING…and ANTHONY WEINER A REAL JERK… that I happened to come across a video about Noel Jones and Lisa Raye being a couple.
WHAT????
Now, that really shocked me. In fact, it threw for a loop so to speak… because 1 would hardly consider Lisa 
Raye to be… Well, to be preacher-man material.
Well, maybe I should say it like this… Not the stuff that First Ladies are made of. Well, let me take it a step further… and say it this way. Not the stuff that Church First Ladies are made of.
But then again… anybody can change. 
Haven’t we all?
But I must say that that I thought she made a very good First Lady of that little island that she happened to marry into… Turks and Caicos. And she did hold up very well under the pressure of that crazy king or 
whatever his title was over that island… whom she married.
Lets face it… Lisa is a very pretty girl. Well, I guess I should say… woman now. But preacher material?
Well, I don’t really know about that. But 1 thing I am sure of… what 
Lisa wants… Lisa gets. And she will be whomever or whenever she needs to be to get it done.
Another thing… can I just say this?
No pastor or preacher should be dating anyone… whom he is not possibly looking at as a candidate for marriage. And no so-called man… especially a so-called Bishop or any pastor or any other supposed man of God, who is single… should be out impregnating women and not marrying them.
My Bible says a Bishop should be blameless. So, exactly where does that put Bishop Noel Jones?
Now, having said all of that let me get to what I was saying about the Bishop. For years Noel Jones portrayed himself as being this celibate preacher, following the divorce between him and his wife many many many many many years ago. You get that picture?
Born January 31, 1950, Noel Jones, a Jamaican, is the twin 
brother of R&B/Rocker singer Grace Jones of the 70’s. I can hear her sing ‘Pull Up To The Bumper, Baby’ now… think it might have been her biggest hit.
Anyhow, Bishop Noel Jones is the Pastor of a large mega-church, City of Refuge Church… and highly sought after as a preacher besides deciding to be featured as 1 of the 6 pastors to parade his life and affairs before TV audiences, on the up-coming reality TV show PREACHERS OF LA.
The last time I watched a television broadcast of Bishop Jones he was preaching on a subject that involved him relaying to his 
congregation his struggles to maintain himself sexually… and I think… winning. Being a very dynamic speaker and a man well versed with words, with a large vocabulary… his take on winning that battle and overcoming that demon even had me glued into that message.
But then I found out that Bishop Jones, if you did not read… or had not heard yet… had been less than forthcoming about his victory over his sexual urges. In researching information for this blog… which is 
something that I sometimes do… not often… but at times. When I want to lets say hit upon a topic that I am going to write about, but I am not sure about what little info I have. So, I do a little digging just to make sure of what I have heard or saw or read… and to see what else I can find to make my blog a bit more interesting. And I also like bringing some facts into my blogs… beside just my opinions which I am always full of.
So, while digging… I found out that the Bishop had impregnated a young woman, named Stacy Francis about a couple of years ago. Hmmmm….
Now, I’m smh… (smh means shaking my head for those of you who don’t know). Never would I have thought that because… Well… Well, because I thought the man honestly was gay. Which kind of goes back to what my friend, Sue… always says about me. She says… I think that everybody is gay. Though I say that is not true. Not EVERYBODY… just some people.
If you read my blog on Raven Symone supposedly being gay… then you would know that my friend, Sue’s, statement is far from being true. Because I certainly definitely don’t truly believe that Raven Symone is gay… no matter what she says. I think she is just going through a phase. It might even be just a Hollywood thang… because it seems to me that everybody almost in Hollywood these days has either a girlfriend or a boyfriend. As being gay in Hollywood seems to make for great news.
But lets get back to Noel Jones. After years of watching him during his morning church broadcasts… I think on BET… I had long thought that he was gay for all the obvious reasons. But 1 reason in particular… he just plain looks like it. Well, to me.
I know somebody just passed out… while somebody else just got mad because I’m talking about their pastor. Yes, I probably lost about half of my readers right there in having said that. But it is true. He just looks like a gay male to me… and if anybody has seen a lot of them I have. Because as you know I was once in ‘the life’ myself. And you kind of get to know them when you see them.
Thank God for redemption… truly.
And since I am talking about it right now… let me just add. For anybody who has come out of it… and I am talking about being gay…or homosexual… or lesbian… or whatever… they no longer look like it. The things… the look… the characteristics… how they talk… mannerisms… nuances etc… dress… style etc… all also change. This is really how you know that they truly are ‘new creatures’ in the Lord.
Not to say that the Bishop is gay… but he always struck me as being so.
Also, having been in ‘the life‘ I know the games and tricks people play… usually men… to try and hide their true sexuality. They court women that they have no physical interest in… some even get married… have children etc… all as a way of hiding who they really are.
So, Bishop Noel Jones messing with Lisa Raye… or having a child out of wedlock… it all just might be a sham. And probably will make for good TV for those of you who love drama… especially baby-mama/baby-daddy drama.
Forget me saying that Lisa was not Church First Lady material. But just how much of Bishop material is Noel Jones to having at least 1 child out of wedlock. And is carrying on sexually or otherwise with young women who could be this 60 year old man’s daughters?
My thoughts, however, are still out on the broadcast of the Preachers of LA. But I have 1 question…
Are we selling out the Church… to shine on TV and make an extra buck… and gain earthly fame?
Are they pimping the Church?
How much soul winning or counseling in the Church can a pastor do who is busy courting Hollywood… and all that it brings to them?
And somebody tell me please… When did Deitrick Haddon move to L.A.?
What kind of preachers are these that this show is showcasing… with their Bentley’s … Ferrari’s… bling-bling and outside children… and whatever else?
When you look at the clothes that this pastor let his wife wear out of the house… you really have to wonder about the fate of the Church… and where it is headed?
Excuse me… but I just can’t get over the dress that that man… that PASTOR’S WIFE is wearing… exposing her breast like that. Did I say that I thought Lisa Raye might not be Church First Lady material?????
My, Lord… smh… again…
This thing is scary…
And can I add this?
I really wonder when was the last time Ron Gibson really out of his car to approach some brothers in the hood to share the Word of God 
with them… when the cameras weren’t rolling?
When it has all been said and done I wouldn’t be surprise if half of them leave the show… and go up under IRS investigations for misusage of Church funds.
Whatever happened to ‘having all things in common?’
Or feeding the motherless and the fatherless… instead of driving around in exotic cars and living lavishly grand life’s while their congregations languish?
